About: My husband David and I are experienced, reliable dog sitters who’ve grown up with dogs and regularly care for friends’ pets, from Cavapoos to GSPs. We have an adult male Vizsla who’s friendly, well socialised, and used to sharing his space. Because we both work from home, we’re able to be present all day, offering hands on care, reassurance, flexibility, and attention tailored to your dog. All care takes place in our home, where dogs are treated as part of the family. We provide a calm, safe, and secure environment and follow each dog’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, medication, and any special requirements. Our home is dog-friendly and supervised throughout the day as we both work from home. Dogs are introduced to our Vizsla gradually and safely, and we provide regular updates for peace of mind.

About: James and I (Zoe) are new to Rover sitter but have several years of experience caring for dogs through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after neighbourhood dogs, and owning dogs ourselves. I’ve grown up around dogs and small animals (rabbits, hamsters, rats, etc.) and also work with animals, giving me a strong understanding of animal behaviour and care. We currently have an almost 3-year-old Shiba Inu and two bunnies, so we’re very familiar with daily routines and individual personalities. Our Shiba would love a furry friend to keep her company. P.S. The enclosure in the cover photo was only used temporarily while our bunnies were bonding — they are never caged. My dog is only allowed into the bunny room with close supervision. My husband and I WFH 3 days a week and we are mostly free on weekends. We can also provide care during holidays such as Easter and Christmas etc We offer a cosy, calm home in a quiet cul-de-sac with a garden and a few minutes' walk to nearby fields for dog walks. We’re happy to ensure your furry friend has the best time with us. Having used Rover ourselves, we’re always happy to provide regular updates and photos.If I come to your home, I will follow your instructions carefully and provide care exactly as your dog needs.

Chenyan is a FANTASTIC dog sitter. She cared so well for our dog overnight and for the day whilst we were away. Despite some wet and miserable weather, our pup was well walked, played with and fed. Plenty of updates with photos and videos of our grown up puppy (10 months) enjoying herself thoroughly. We hope that Poppy will be welcome again at Chenyan's soon 😊
Mary was wonderful with our dog, Pascha, during her two-night stay. From the start, she was kind, reliable, and clearly experienced with dogs. Pascha was happy, relaxed, and well cared for when we picked her up, which gave us real peace of mind while we were away. Mary kept us updated and treated Pascha like her own. Our dog Rusty absolutely loved Sue and her husband straight away, he was a rescue from Morocco and is very fear reactive, it was also the first time we considered leaving him with anyone for five months. We met Sue and her husband first and that went well, they have a lovely, safe and happy home. Rusty stayed for a day then overnight and when we collected him we found him scampering around their huge garden and sniffing all the new smells. He slept well with no issues and enjoyed being with them and their gorgeous springer spaniel. We have already booked a four night stay for Rusty with Sue in a couple of weeks!
After an initial meeting to discuss future bookings I had no hesitation with leaving Dexter with Sam. Sam is very professional and asks all the right questions to ensure she provides the right level of care. And on Dexter's first visit I could see from the moment I handed him over that he was going to have a lovely time with Sam. Thank you Sam!
Isabel was extremely reliable and professional. She looked after Max for 12 days and kept me regularly updated with messages and photos, which gave me great peace of mind. Communication was easy and everything went exactly as agreed. Max was happy and well cared for. I’m very satisfied and would highly recommend her.

We're very grateful to Jill and Nigel for looking after Barney so well while we had a long weekend away. The daily updates were great and reassured us that he was being very well looked after and having a great time. In fact I'd say he seemed disappointed to be back home again after his stay 🤣. The absolute best. This is the second time Rachel has looked after Rufus! Extremely accommodating and looked after my dogs needs with his insulin for diabetes. Hannah is amazing my sky can be a little madam at times with her medicine and skin problems but Hannah will sort it out no matter what. Hannah sent pictures and update through out skys stay. sky has come home knackered and very happy thank you Hannah and boys! Hannah is 100% the only person I would trust with sky. Xx 100% recommend
Katt looked after Jessie (our border collie) for 3 weeks while we were away. Katt looked after Jessie very well. Jessie can be nervous of larger dogs but Katt carefully introduced them and soon they were enjoying playing together. The experience was very good for Jessie as she enjoyed the constant company and attention and it helps her become more sociable with other dogs. Jessie has stayed with Katt several times and loves going there which means we can go away without worrying about her.
