I’m home most of the day, so dogs in our care get regular exercise, playtime, rest and plenty of attention in a calm loving environment.

We both have up to date DBS checks, first aid trained, insured and hold a license with the council for boarding. (Licence number HB114) We have a fenced garden and live only a few feet away from a large lake, with fields and woods nearby. Our house is air conditioned (ideal for hot summers). We don't have any other pets at home at the moment (sadly) but that does mean we will provide your pet with our full care and attention.

Please advise us in advance of any issues regarding toileting/incontinence, any nervousness or reactivity to particular items/noises/situations, any anxieties, fears etc. If your dog prefers to not interact with other dogs on walks we will of course abide by your requirements. Treats, food, toys, obsessions are all good to know about in advance too. For all boarding and day care we will need proof of up to date vaccination.
A typical day
Plenty of love, care and attention. Walks, games and exercise as defined by you - we can also offer basic training. If there's something in particular you want us to do with your pet please ask.

Pet care experience
We are an experienced pet loving family, having owned numerous dogs and cats over many years. Trevor is a qualified canine behavourist/trainer. Amanda spent many years working full time as an animal care assistant, where she gained experience walking/training a wide range of dogs including those that can be reactive and nervous. We love all animals and have a special place in our hearts for giant dog breeds (having owned several) but very happy to care for animals of all shapes and sizes!

I can’t say enough how great Amanda is with Freddie. She is very attentive to the dog. Freddie is very excited in the moning when he goes to Amandas.
I was very pleased with the care Rocco received at Amanda’s for his first day care. It was clear that she genuinely loves and understands dogs. When I collected him he was happy relaxed and clearly had a great play day. I also appreciated the regular updates and photographs which were reassuring to see him enjoying himself while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring doggy day care 🐶
As always Freddie had an amazing day with Amanda! The moment I opened the car door he rushed to Amanda’s house :)
