About: James and Zoe here 😇 We bring several years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after neighbourhood pets, and raising our own dogs. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals—dogs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, fishes and more—and I also worked with animals, giving me a strong understanding of behaviour, welfare, and individual needs. We currently have a 3‑year‑old Shiba Inu and two bunnies, so we’re very familiar with daily routines, personality quirks, and the importance of tailored care. Our Shiba would absolutely love a furry friend to keep her company! We can also offer holiday care for small animals—just send me a message if that’s something you’re looking for too! Either of us work from home on most weekdays, and we’re able to offer weekend boarding as well. We’re home the majority of the time, so your pet will have plenty of company. We’re also quite flexible with drop‑off and pick‑up times to make scheduling easy for you. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced garden, and there are lovely open fields just behind our house for plenty of walkies and exploring. P.S. The enclosure shown in our cover photo was only used temporarily while our bunnies were bonding — they are never kept caged. Our dog is only allowed into the bunny room under close supervision to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have lived with cats and dogs and love spending my time with them whether that be feeding, stroking or keeping them entertained. I bond well with most pets and treat them like they’re my own, so you can be sure they will be getting the right care and love. I work a 6 on 4 off shift pattern which are two early shifts, two late shifts and two night shifts so I always know what shifts I’m on well in advance. I live in a two bed ground floor flat. The second bedroom is a room for furry visitors. If you use a crate or bed, I am more than happy to put them in there along with any toys or other items they may need.

About: I've spent over 20 years as a Physio and Rehabilitation practitioner for dogs in Australia. I've worked with thousands of dogs of all ages and breeds. I specialise in older dog care and am happy to share my experience to take the best posisble care of your dog. I'm now back in the UK with my Swiss Shepherd called Shen Bear and our young Leonberger called Kiana. I'm reliable, honest and here to help your dog. I work from home most days with a flexible schedule, leaving me time to fit in visits, walking and minding. I'm available early mornings and evenings if needed. If minding a dog at home. I have a secure large back yard and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. They have plenty of room to play and relax. I also have a seperate space if they need time out.

About: I’m a dedicated cat owner and animal lover with hands-on experience caring for my own pet and friend/ family pets. I understand the importance of feeding schedules, clean litter boxes, play and enrichment, and making sure pets feel calm and secure while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have previously found a stray senior cat in the street and took him in and cared for him briefly before he passed. I work flexibly as a pharmacist and have some free time. I have the 2 days off during the week and evenings free for walks. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and providing companionship. I’m attentive to pets’ behaviour and wellbeing and make sure they feel safe while their owners are away. I also treat every home with respect—keeping the pet’s space clean and tidy, following any house instructions carefully, and maintaining the same level of care I would expect for my own home.

About: I have 7 years experience with dogs and 5 years with cats. I have recently been made redundant during my pregnancy. I am a mother to 3 children who also love animals. I am trustworthy and punctual, I love being around animals. I am avaiable most days Monday to Sunday during school times and I am also available after school times with notice. Weekends I am available all day and I can be available last minute. When my baby is born I am still available for walks and pop in visits. I have currently been made redundant during my pregnancy. When the children are at school I am free to visit animals or walk animals. I am free Monday to Friday when the children are in school and im also free on half terms. I would make sure animals are safe at all times in their own homes, if i feel there is a danger I will notify to owners straight away

About: I’ve had pets all my life and then… I moved to the UK. Missing the company of furry friends, so let me look after yours when you need it. I’m available Mon, Wed, Fri and Sat evenings after 6:30pm and all day/evening on Sundays. I am fully employed 9-5 and go to uni on Tues/Thurs finishing a Masters degree. It’s nice to have the occasional furry friend over in the evenings, so I can switch my brain off and enjoy some furry cuddles. About: I attended the University of Plymouth studying Conservation Biology and qualified from Moreton Morrell College with a Distinction. It has given me experience and knowledge about handling and caring for a range of animals, including rabbits, dogs, cats, reptiles, and others. I am passionate about working with animals which led me to my university degree which has expanded my knowledge further about animal behaviour, welfare, and management. I have been walking dogs where I grew up for 6 years and for neighbours and friends and now I would love to do this professionally and with a range of dogs who would love playing and exercise. I volunteered at the Dog’s Trust in Kenilworth for around 2 years as part of my Duke of Edinburgh Gold award as well as volunteering at the RSPCA for over a year. At the Dog’s Trust and RSPCA I had many roles, from cleaning kennels to food preparation to walking and socialising with the dogs in my job at the Kennels I cleaned kennels, walked the dogs as well as cleaning the cattery, and socialising with the cats. I am patient, shown as I have plenty of experience working with children and customers. About: I have looked after/cared for dogs for over 5yrs. I am a young professional with a very flexible work week, I am at home all day 5 days per week. I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and neighbourhood pets, I have a miniature dachshund Ralph! ☺️ he loves playing and socialising with other dogs, we go on daily walks 2 times a day. As well as having a spacious garden I live in an area surrounded by woods, fields and great walking routes. We’d love to spend the day with your furry friend :) I currently work part time so my daily schedule is very flexible, I am at home between 8am to 7pm everyday so I’m always around to play & walk the pups. I’m available all weekends for dog boarding and weekdays past 4pm. I have a fenced garden and a dog of my own to play with your pup, I’m also surrounded by lots of greenery for long ( or short 🙈) walks! I can crate your dog if needed and also have a playpen when wanted/if necessary. My house has multiple rooms which can be used. I can cater to any pet need whether they’re anxious, elderly, puppy etc. I have an abundance of toys! that my pup is always happy to share including lots of sensory toys and training toys. I have cool mats and wet mats for hot weather and lots of cosy blankets when it’s cold!
