About: James and Zoe here 😇 We bring several years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after neighbourhood pets, and raising our own dogs. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals—dogs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, fishes and more—and I also worked with animals, giving me a strong understanding of behaviour, welfare, and individual needs. We currently have a 3‑year‑old Shiba Inu and two bunnies, so we’re very familiar with daily routines, personality quirks, and the importance of tailored care. Our Shiba would absolutely love a furry friend to keep her company! We can also offer holiday care for small animals—just send me a message if that’s something you’re looking for too! Either of us work from home on most weekdays, and we’re able to offer weekend boarding as well. We’re home the majority of the time, so your pet will have plenty of company. We’re also quite flexible with drop‑off and pick‑up times to make scheduling easy for you. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced garden, and there are lovely open fields just behind our house for plenty of walkies and exploring. P.S. The enclosure shown in our cover photo was only used temporarily while our bunnies were bonding — they are never kept caged. Our dog is only allowed into the bunny room under close supervision to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have lived with cats and dogs and love spending my time with them whether that be feeding, stroking or keeping them entertained. I bond well with most pets and treat them like they’re my own, so you can be sure they will be getting the right care and love. I work a 6 on 4 off shift pattern which are two early shifts, two late shifts and two night shifts so I always know what shifts I’m on well in advance. I live in a two bed ground floor flat. The second bedroom is a room for furry visitors. If you use a crate or bed, I am more than happy to put them in there along with any toys or other items they may need.

Amelie is a dedicated, extremely organised dog walker with a caring sensitivity to dogs of all sizes. She set up a pre-walk meet to put me and my hounds ant ease and noted all the personal needs of each of my large (30kg each) Labradoodles. This put me at ease too, as I had not left my dogs before with anyone. She was easily contactable, fast to respond and had excellent time keeping. I would highly recommend Amelie’s dog walking/ sitting services to anyone and will look to book her again.

We’ve booked Simran a few times now and she’s always been great. Even when we booked last minute, she was super helpful, kept us updated, and made us feel totally at ease. She took our dog out for a full hour and fed him after too, which we really appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

We reached out to Jade to get our rescue puppy introduced to a trusted walker with the aim of getting someone who can look after her in the future when we go on holidays. Jade was able to come for introductions and a walk on short notice and we’re very pleased with how it went. Jade and Hazel became friends instantly and we quickly felt confident that Hazel would be in safe hands.

About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember and for the last 11 years I have been the proud dog mum of a Cavapoo called Louie. As someone who absolutely adores dogs and has years of experience caring for them, I know just how important it is that your furry friend gets the love, exercise, and attention, even when life gets busy. I am reliable and caring and will adapt to your dog’s personality and routine whether it’s a gentle stroll, a high energy walk, or simply some comforting company during the day. Every dog is treated like one of my own, with plenty of cuddles, care, and fun. I've also volunteered at the local dog rescue as a dog walker and I like to help out with friends dogs when I can. I struggle to walk past a dog without saying hello! Over the years I have also owned, horses, rabbits, hamsters and a whole tribe of guinea pigs! 🎓Diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking 🎓Diploma in Canine Communication Fully insured and DBS checked. I’ve recently transitioned from an office job to focus on a more active, outdoor lifestyle, which makes dog walking and pet sitting a perfect fit for me. I have good availability most days a week, apart from school drop-off and pick-up times. I’m excited to spend time outdoors and give your dog lots of care, fun and attention. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in your home, my priority is always their comfort, safety, and happiness. I like to keep to their routine as much as possible to help them feel secure and at ease. We have a small but secure garden and live just across the road from a park and less than 5 minutes walk from Dinton Pastures.

I had to book a walker as I was feeling unwell. Luckily we found Ella. Ella was amazing - Milo is typically nervous but he did not hesistate to run out the door to go on a walk with her! I was kept constantly updated throughout the walk. I would not hesitate to recommend Ella to others! Thank you again.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 18 years, including my own dogs, family pets, and my landlord’s dog here in the UK. Dogs have always been a big part of my life, and I genuinely enjoy spending time with them. I work remotely as a website designer, which gives me a flexible schedule and plenty of time to focus on pet care throughout the week, including weekends and longer stays when needed. I enjoy being outdoors and go on daily walks, so having a dog with me fits perfectly into my lifestyle. I offer solo dog walks so each dog receives my full attention, care, and companionship. I always aim to make pets feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed while following their usual routines and any instructions provided. My remote work allows me to be flexible and available throughout the week for walks, drop in visits, and pet sitting, including weekends and longer stays when needed. I always follow each pet’s normal routine and any instructions from the owner. My priority is to keep pets safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their familiar environment.

About: I’m a dedicated cat owner and animal lover with hands-on experience caring for my own pet and friend/ family pets. I understand the importance of feeding schedules, clean litter boxes, play and enrichment, and making sure pets feel calm and secure while their owners are away. I’m reliable, patient, and treat every pet as if they were my own. I have previously found a stray senior cat in the street and took him in and cared for him briefly before he passed. I work flexibly as a pharmacist and have some free time. I have the 2 days off during the week and evenings free for walks. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, I follow the pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable and stress-free. This includes feeding, refreshing water, cleaning litter trays, playtime, and providing companionship. I’m attentive to pets’ behaviour and wellbeing and make sure they feel safe while their owners are away. I also treat every home with respect—keeping the pet’s space clean and tidy, following any house instructions carefully, and maintaining the same level of care I would expect for my own home.

About: I absolutely love dogs, to the point that I'm considering dog caring as a new career option. I have owned a pedigree Westie for the last five years since he was a puppy and took him to puppy training classes locally. I am very friendly and enjoy meeting people as well as getting to know their dogs and often chat to other owners and stroke their dogs when out walking my own. We have lots of great walks nearby and I also love exploring! I have a dog-flap installed so your dog can access a fenced garden as they need throughout the day so that's one less thing for them to worry about. I am relaxed and happy to welcome your dog as if this is their own home from home. We're looking forward to meeting you.

About: About Me: I am a freelance Project Manager who works from home, offering a unique "live-in" experience where your pets receive constant companionship and a consistent routine. Having moved back to Wokingham last year after seven years in the US, I am dedicated to providing a secure, loving presence in your own home, ensuring your pets feel safe in their familiar environment while you're away. As an owner of two dogs—a spirited 7-year-old and a gentle 17-year-old—I have extensive experience balancing high-energy needs with delicate senior care. I am comfortable with specialized senior requirements, including mobility support and strict medication schedules. What I offer as your house sitter: A "Home Always Occupied" Vibe: My WFH status means I am present throughout the day to offer garden breaks, head scratches, and supervision. Tailored Exercise: Whether your dog prefers a gentle "sniffari" around Ashridge Meadows or a long, vigorous hike through a local National Trust, I adapt every walk to their specific fitness level. Respect for Your Home: I maintain a tidy, organized environment and follow all house rules strictly, from locking up every time I leave to ensuring everything is clean for your return. Experience with All Ages: From puppy energy to geriatric care, I provide a patient and attentive environment for every life stage. ***In 2027 I look forward to offering "home away from home" pet sitting from our home in Wokingham*** As a freelance Project Manager working from home, my schedule is highly flexible. I am most available for longer, adventurous walks or hikes during school hours (9:00 AM – 3:00 PM), but I am equally happy to help with late-night bathroom breaks or evening check-ins if you are working late or out for dinner. Because I manage my own hours, I can easily adapt to your pet's specific routine to ensure they never feel rushed or alone. I’ll treat your home with as much love and respect as I do my own. If I'm working from your place, your pets won't have to deal with the "where did they go?" anxiety—I’ll be there to keep them company and keep an eye on things. I’m naturally a very tidy and organized person, so you’ll come home to a happy pet and a house that looks exactly how you left it.
