“Hi Ann Thank you both for looking after Finn - its sounded like he had a great time When he came home he was a bit subdued without his new doggie friends. It was lovely that he was able to run around in the garden and play ball his 2 favourite things to do. It meant an awful lot to us to have peace of mind that he was being so cared for. I'm sure we'll so you again soon. Thanks again Veronica and Steve xx”

“Prerna did a great job looking after Tony for the weekend, keeping him cool in this warm weather - early/late walks and keeping us updated on how he was getting on. Highly recommend! Thank you!”

“Holly made the whole boarding process really simple, great communicator who provides lovely updates of Willow settled in and out on woodland walks. Would highly recommend. Thankyou”

“Gordon had a lovely time staying with Meg and family! They greeted him with a very warm welcome and let him explore to get comfortable, and he came home very well rested and cared for! Thank you Meg for taking care of him in the heatwave, asking lots of questions and sharing pictures and updates throughout the day :)”

“I left my dog with Andrea for one week, and I could say that it felt like they were there with me! Andrea was very careful with her, she sent me photos every day without asking for them, she let me know their program, keeping me posted on everything! I truly recommend Andrea, she is trustworthy and very kind!”

“Wonderful experience from the first time we met. I received very frequent updates with pictures. Reggie seemed very happy and comfortable spending time with Rio and Romeo. Overall I'm greatful for the hospitality and flexibility shown by Shilpi.”

“Bruce had a lovely time with Claire. We received some lovely and welcome updates and photos reassuring us he was in good hands. When we picked him up he was very glad to see us but was obviously comfortable at Claire's and certainly not in a mad rush to get away. Thanks again Claire.”

“Amanda, Trevor, and their family took exceptional care of our two dogs. They were communicative, kind, and very attentive to our pups throughout the two-week stay. Our large dogs each have their quirks, and it's clear that Amanda and Trevor are both very knowledgeable and compassionate in the way they cared for them. Any pup would be lucky to stay with them!”

“Sarah was fantastic from the beginning to the end! We had to be away last minute but she made sure I and Bailey could come around beforehand so that we all feel comfortable when dropped him off and he was so happy to go to her straight away! She also sent me the updates and pics which are always great for my children as well! Thank you so much for having him so comfortably and I didn’t worry at all which was the best thing when you are away. We will definitely ask her again!”

“Sue and Geoff have been wonderful sitters for Bo, treating her as part of the family. They are kind and caring and Sue was very communicative from initial booking to sending me updates and photos during Bo’s stay. Bo enjoyed their lovely garden and got on well with their gorgeous spaniel, Sophie. Highly recommended.”

“We couldn’t have asked for better care for our dogs! Debika and her partner looked after our two girls so well, and they kept us updated regularly with lovely photos. It was clear from the updates that both girls were loving all the attention and fuss they were getting. Our youngest happened to come into her period while we were away, and they handled everything so well and made sure she was comfortable and well looked after. I could genuinely see that they loved our dogs and treated them as if they were their own. When we came to collect them, they even stayed to see us off and made sure both girls had their walks and a chance to go to the toilet before we left. That little extra care really meant a lot to us. We would absolutely recommend Debika and her partner to anyone looking for someone trustworthy and caring to look after their dogs. We will definitely be using them again in the future! 🐾❤️”

“Kin is very responsible, friendly, and pleasant to talk to. She always followed instructions 100% and went above and beyond my expectations. She sent very detailed video reports, was incredibly friendly with my cat, and tried to make unpleasant procedures (like taking pills) as comfortable as possible. I saw on camera that my boy truly enjoyed every visit! He's very shy and doesn't always like new people, but this experience was wonderful. He even came to her for petting, which is rare for him! I'm so glad I contacted Kin, and I felt very calm during my vacation, as I was confident that she would handle my cat's care perfectly, given his health issues and cautious, introverted nature.”

“Both my cats took to Megan from the moment they met her. Both enjoyed her morning and evening visits, and the lots of attention Megan provided. Megan provided comprehensive updates and photos of her visits and I found her completely trustworthy. I would absolutely recommend Megan as a cat sitter.”

“Emma is so lovely and I felt very reassured with her looking after my kitten Bailey. Emma sent me photos and messages while I was away and I could see that he was being well looked after. ”

About: I’ve cared for cats of all ages over the years, including my own cat who was part of the family for 20 years. I have experience with cat drop-ins, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure cats feel calm and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every cat has a different personality — some are social and affectionate, while others prefer space and routine — and I always adapt my care to what makes them feel safest and most relaxed.
“Ghazala and her family were amazing sitters for Emerald. We were so pleased with the way she was looked after and all the lovely photo and video updates we received. We will definitely be booking her in to stay again when we next go on holiday!”

About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and that passion is now shared with my two young sons. Our current family includes two dogs—brothers we helped welcome into the world when I fostered their mother—and a once-stray cat. Now five years old, they are gentle, well-socialized, and wonderful companions. With years of experience caring for animals at every life stage, from bottle-feeding newborns to supporting senior pets, I understand the unique needs of each age. Whether it’s administering medication or providing extra comfort, your pet will be in capable and caring hands. Our home is a warm, safe space where pets are treated as family. We’d be honored to care for yours.

About: I’ve cared for my neighbours cat during the holidays, providing daily visits to feed them, refresh their water, clean up after them, and spend quality time keeping them company whilst their owners were away. I understand that every cat has their own personality and routine, so I’m happy to follow your instructions to help them feel safe, relaxed and comfortable in their own home. I’m reliable, patient and attentive, and I’ll make sure your cat recieves plenty of care and affection, along with regular photo and text updates so you know they’re happy while your away.

“Lauren was absolutely brilliant. It’s the first time we’ve used Rover, and she made us feel totally safe about leaving our cat in her care. We had daily updates and photos of him. And we just got home, and he’s looking very well looked after We will definitely be using this service again.”

About: I’m Jake! Since the age of 9, I have lived with cats and absolutely love them! Over that period I have lived with 9 cats. (Not all at once!) I bond well with most pets and they all get treated as if they are my own, with plenty of love strokes and play time. I don’t have any pets of my own due to my work schedule, however as I work on a 6 on 4 off shift pattern, I always know when I’m free which includes mornings and evenings.
“Our first time using a pet sitter to stay in the house to look after our cat. Ryan is really polite and caring and provided updates on our cat. He is really communicative, and obviously loves cats (and all animals). We would happily rebook in the future.”

“Jazz was fantastic! We received photos and brief updates twice a day, showing us two happy cats. It’s clear that our cats enjoyed Jazz caring for them and she certainly made a friend of our male cat with him running out to greet her car as she arrived ! (His sister remained shyer as is her nature but allowed small pets and attention) All the cat dishes were washed up, Jazz had taken our bin to the curb and she went above and beyond by popping some milk in the fridge for us as she knew we were arriving in the early hours and would fancy a cuppa! We will definitely be looking to have Jazz care for the cats again.”

About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with cats and other pets. I used to raise kittens in the past, so I’m very familiar with caring for young cats and understanding their needs. Currently, I have two male cats of my own, one is 3 years old and the other is 5 years old, so caring for cats is part of my everyday life. I also have a friendly Cocker Spaniel, which means I’m used to looking after different animals and understanding their personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure pets stay comfortable and in their normal routine. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention and care, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they are away.

However Rachael exceeded our expectations. The cats seemed really happy when we got home which is also a good sign that they’ve been well taken care of, and the house even looked more sparkling clean than we left it. She made sure to give us lots of updates and daily photos. Would recommend Rachael for sure!”

“I was very pleased with the care Rocco received at Amanda’s for his first day care. It was clear that she genuinely loves and understands dogs. When I collected him he was happy relaxed and clearly had a great play day. I also appreciated the regular updates and photographs which were reassuring to see him enjoying himself while I was away. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring doggy day care 🐶”

“Kasia is lovely, very friendly and welcoming and her love of dogs shines through! Lola had a great day with her and I would have no hesitation at all in asking her to look after her again.”

“Where do I even start? I sent quite a few messages to detail Lola’s needs and asked so many questions. Karen always responded very quickly, having read all the information action and sounded so calm and reassuring. Lola spent the first 2 days with Karen, Alex and Pablo and I couldn’t be happier for my baby girl. She is being made to be part of the family but is also cared for according to her needs. She returned home after a full day in Karen’s care being very happy, having zoomies 🫶🏼 Karen is extremely conscientious, caring and lovely person. She truly takes great pride in looking after my girl. Karen, I cannot thank you enough for restoring my faith in people, especially orally when it comes to looking after my baby girl. You have been godsend and we are so relieved knowing Lola is in the best home she can be when I am in the office. THANK YOU 🫶🏼”

Ruki had the absolute best time, especially playing with Sid — they got along so well and it was such a relief knowing she had a furry friend to keep her company. This is a truly dog-loving family who made Ruki feel right at home. We got regular updates and it was clear she was being treated like one of their own. Highly recommend”

About: My family has always had dogs, they are the absolute best! Me and my partner Scott have been together 13 years and have had 2 dogs from puppy stage since 2016, a terrier and a Labrador. So I am used to handling different sizes, personalities and life stages. Unfortunately I lost my Labrador this year and would love to meet new dogs through boarding and welcome them into our family whilst they stay here. I work from home, so they will never be lonely. There is a big garden with space for them to play, and great local walks to explore with them :) I work from home and usually walk my dog Dexter at midday around the local lake and woods. If there’s a hot day, this will be first thing or late evening instead to keep them safe. I am home most of the time, so they will rarely if ever be left alone I have a large fenced garden, our terrier is an escape artist, so trust me it’s dog proof and a great space for them to play, sniff and relax! I have a good size 4 bed house, and they will be allowed access to all rooms and will be treated like one of our own. At night I would prefer they sleep downstairs either in the kitchen or living room on a sofa, let me know if this is not suitable

About: James and Zoe here 😇 We bring several years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after neighbourhood pets, and raising our own dogs. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals—dogs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, fishes and more—and I also worked with animals, giving me a strong understanding of behaviour, welfare, and individual needs. We currently have a 3‑year‑old Shiba Inu and two bunnies, so we’re very familiar with daily routines, personality quirks, and the importance of tailored care. Our Shiba would absolutely love a furry friend to keep her company! We can also offer holiday care for small animals—just send me a message if that’s something you’re looking for too! Either of us work from home on most weekdays, and we’re able to offer weekend boarding as well. We’re home the majority of the time, so your pet will have plenty of company. We’re also quite flexible with drop‑off and pick‑up times to make scheduling easy for you. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced garden, and there are lovely open fields just behind our house for plenty of walkies and exploring. P.S. The enclosure shown in our cover photo was only used temporarily while our bunnies were bonding — they are never kept caged. Our dog is only allowed into the bunny room under close supervision to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

About: I truly love dogs, and any dog that comes into my home will be treated as part of the family. About: I've loved dogs for as long as I can remember and for the last 11 years I have been the proud dog mum of a Cavapoo called Louie. As someone who absolutely adores dogs and has years of experience caring for them, I know just how important it is that your furry friend gets the love, exercise, and attention, even when life gets busy. I am reliable and caring and will adapt to your dog’s personality and routine whether it’s a gentle stroll, a high energy walk, or simply some comforting company during the day. Every dog is treated like one of my own, with plenty of cuddles, care, and fun. I've also volunteered at the local dog rescue as a dog walker and I like to help out with friends dogs when I can. I struggle to walk past a dog without saying hello! Over the years I have also owned, horses, rabbits, hamsters and a whole tribe of guinea pigs! 🎓Diploma in Pet Sitting and Dog Walking 🎓Diploma in Canine Communication Fully insured and DBS checked. I’ve recently transitioned from an office job to focus on a more active, outdoor lifestyle, which makes dog walking and pet sitting a perfect fit for me. I have good availability most days a week, apart from school drop-off and pick-up times. I’m excited to spend time outdoors and give your dog lots of care, fun and attention. Whether I’m caring for pets in my own home or in your home, my priority is always their comfort, safety, and happiness. I like to keep to their routine as much as possible to help them feel secure and at ease. We have a small but secure garden and live just across the road from a park and less than 5 minutes walk from Dinton Pastures.
About: I’ve taken care of pets since I was 10 years old. I have lived with cats and dogs and love spending my time with them whether that be feeding, stroking or keeping them entertained. I work a 6 on 4 off shift pattern which are two early shifts, two late shifts and two night shifts so I always know what shifts I’m on well in advance. I live in a two bed ground floor flat. The second bedroom is a room for furry visitors. If you use a crate or bed, I am more than happy to put them in there along with any toys or other items they may need.

“Chenyan looked after Willow for a week. She met her a day beforehand and took loads of details about feeding and her personality. During our holiday, we got amazing photos and updates of her enjoying time with Mae the whippet and other dogs. We had plenty of communication and could relax completely. We know she had an incredible time because we see the bond she has built with Chenyan, Suki, and Mae. I wholeheartedly recommend Chenyan, and she is now our preferred sitter for Willow!! Thank you.”

“This is the third time I’ve left Teddy with James, and I honestly couldn’t ask for a better person to look after him. From the moment we drop Teddy off, I know he’s in safe, loving hands. James is incredibly attentive, sends regular updates and photos, and makes sure Teddy gets plenty of exercise, playtime, and cuddles. Teddy always comes back happy, calm, and clearly well cared for – it’s obvious he feels completely at home with James. It’s such a relief to know I can travel without stressing, because James treats Teddy like family. I wholeheartedly recommend James to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, responsible, and genuinely caring to look after their dog. We’ll definitely be back again!”
“Poppy’s first overnight stay which went well. She was very excited to see me as expected. She had a good night and had cuddles in the morning. She had her walk with Ellie, one of Maura’s dogs which also went well, so all good. 😊”

“Another fantastic stay for our 12 year old cockerpoo, Molly. Helena & Jon are always so kind & considerate of Molly as she is now blind & anxious. They really do go out of their way to make her feel at home. Helena always makes sure we get lots of updates & photos. 5 stars always!”

About: Hi, I am Aakanksha (and Akshay! 😊), proud parents to a 5-year-old Golden Retriever, RIO, who is basically a big bundle of energy, curiosity and cheekiness! 🐶 Having a high-energy dog myself, I know that every dog comes with their own little personality, habits and funny quirks. I’ve also looked after friends’ dogs over the years, from tiny pups to big breeds, so I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Having a large dog of my own means I’m confident handling bigger dogs too — whether it’s managing their excitement on walks, keeping them entertained, or just making sure they’re happy and comfortable. To me, dogs are babies, and I always treat them with love and care. I absolutely love spending time with dogs, whether that’s going on walks, playing, giving them attention, or simply keeping them company. I’m also happy to look after puppies and understand that they need a little extra patience, supervision and care while they’re learning and exploring the world. Rio has taught me that dogs aren’t just pets — they’re family. So when your furry friend is with me, I’ll treat them with the same love, patience and care that I’d want someone to give Rio. Expect plenty of walks, cuddles, playtime and maybe a few funny dog stories along the way! 🐾 Since I work from home, pet care fits very naturally into my daily routine. I’m around most of the day, which means your dog will get plenty of attention, company and care rather than being left alone for long periods. My partner also mostly works from home and is a big dog lover, so there’s usually someone around to give extra cuddles, playtime and attention. We both genuinely enjoy having dogs around and love the joy and energy they bring into the home. My own dog Rio has a routine of walks, playtime, meals and lots of interaction, so I’m already used to building my day around a dog’s needs. I enjoy taking breaks for walks, play sessions and giving dogs the attention they need throughout the day. I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual routine — whether that’s regular walks, feeding schedules, puppy breaks, or simply having someone around for company. My aim is to make your furry friend feel safe, comfortable and at home while they’re with me. 🐾 I’m happy to offer care both in my own home and in the pet owner’s home, depending on what works best for the dog and their family. At my home, I live in a house with a garden, giving dogs a comfortable space to relax, play and enjoy some outdoor time. I’ll make sure they feel at home, with plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles. Since I’m a dog mum to Rio, my 5-year-old Golden Retriever, I’m already used to having a dog as part of my daily life and understand the importance of keeping a consistent routine. For boarding, I’m happy to follow your dog’s usual habits — including feeding times, walks, sleeping arrangements and any little things that help them feel settled. I know every dog is different, so I take the time to understand their personality and what makes them comfortable. If caring for your dog in your home, I’ll make sure they feel safe and relaxed in their familiar environment while keeping their routine as normal as possible. Whether they’re staying with me or I’m looking after them in their own home, my priority is always the same — making sure they feel loved, comfortable and well cared for while you’re away. 🐾
“Ramya was great with our dog Izzy - she was very happy there and had lots of fun with Loki too. We had lots of photos and updates which was brilliant. There was a safe back garden and they went for lots of walks nearby. Would definitely recommend 😊”

“Bramble was obviously very happy staying with Nathalia. Nathalia sent me photos of Bramble playing and sleeping contentedly on the sofa! I would not hesitate to leave Bramble with Nathalia again”

“We left Teddy with Adrianna for one night while we were away. The communication from Adrianna was great before and during the stay. Her dog, Crumble, was very calm when we arrived, and Teddy went straight off and made himself at home! We received updates and pics during the stay, and she even managed to take Teddy out for a bit which was great. Would definitely use Adrianna again. Thanks for looking after Teddy”

“Lisa is by far the most loving and caring sitter for Arna we have had. Arna had such a lovely time with Lisa, her family and Achilles for 2.5 weeks. She took the best care of Arna. We will definitely keep Arna with Lisa in the future. Thanks Lisa!”

“Katie looked after willow for 3 days in her home and it was without doubt the best experience I have had on Rover. The communication and care that willow got was incredible and it was clear to see that Katie and her family are Dog lovers. This gave me complete confidence throughout the 3 days that everything was under control and willow was well looked after. I would highly recommend Katie and will be using again so this is an easy ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Toni was absolutely amazing, kept us informed regularly and provided pictures of our dog throughout the day. Would definitely be using Toni in the future. Highly recommend.”

“We left our two labs with Julian for a week and he was excellent as always. Photos everyday, lots of walks and two very happy dogs when we got back. Thanks to him and his family as always, will definitely rebook.”
