About: I’m Jake! Since the age of 9, I have lived with cats and absolutely love them! Over that period I have lived with 9 cats. (Not all at once!) I bond well with most pets and they all get treated as if they are my own, with plenty of love strokes and play time. About: My family has always had dogs, they are the absolute best! Me and my partner Scott have been together 13 years and have had 2 dogs from puppy stage since 2016, a terrier and a Labrador. So I am used to handling different sizes, personalities and life stages. Unfortunately I lost my Labrador this year and would love to meet new dogs through boarding and welcome them into our family whilst they stay here. I work from home, so they will never be lonely. There is a big garden with space for them to play, and great local walks to explore with them :) I work from home and usually walk my dog Dexter at midday around the local lake and woods. If there’s a hot day, this will be first thing or late evening instead to keep them safe. I am home most of the time, so they will rarely if ever be left alone I have a large fenced garden, our terrier is an escape artist, so trust me it’s dog proof and a great space for them to play, sniff and relax! I have a good size 4 bed house, and they will be allowed access to all rooms and will be treated like one of our own. We currently have a 3‑year‑old Shiba Inu and two bunnies, so we’re very familiar with daily routines, personality quirks, and the importance of tailored care. Either of us work from home on most weekdays, and we’re able to offer weekend boarding as well. We’re home the majority of the time, so your pet will have plenty of company. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced garden, and there are lovely open fields just behind our house for plenty of walkies and exploring. P.S. The enclosure shown in our cover photo was only used temporarily while our bunnies were bonding — they are never kept caged. About: I have been lucky to care for a wide range of animals from cats/dogs to zoo and farm. At home I am the go to person for anyone looking after their pets. I have a higher diploma on animal management, having the wider education for looking after your pets. I am currently taking my bachelors degree on veterinary nursing. From September, I’ll be back at university while continuing to train 2-3 times a day. My availability will be more limited during weekdays, but I’ll still have availability around my lectures and training, as well as on many evenings and weekends. I’m always happy to discuss your needs and let you know if I can accommodate your requested dates. Your pets safety and wellbeing will always be my highest priority. I live next to Palmer Park and do my daily walks there anyway! I get my fitness in and to be accompanied by a dog would be lovely.
