About: I’ve cared for cats of all ages over the years, including my own cat who was part of the family for 20 years. I have experience with cat drop-ins, feeding routines, playtime, administering basic care, and making sure cats feel calm and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every cat has a different personality — some are social and affectionate, while others prefer space and routine — and I always adapt my care to what makes them feel safest and most relaxed.

About: Animals have always been a part of my life, and that passion is now shared with my two young sons. Our current family includes two dogs—brothers we helped welcome into the world when I fostered their mother—and a once-stray cat. Now five years old, they are gentle, well-socialized, and wonderful companions. With years of experience caring for animals at every life stage, from bottle-feeding newborns to supporting senior pets, I understand the unique needs of each age. Whether it’s administering medication or providing extra comfort, your pet will be in capable and caring hands. Our home is a warm, safe space where pets are treated as family. We’d be honored to care for yours.
“Ghazala was fantastic! From the moment I dropped Simba off, she kept me updated throughout the grooming session, which gave me real peace of mind. When I picked him up, I could tell he was relaxed and comfortable, which says a lot as cats can be quite sensitive to new environments. She took such great care of him and did an amazing job with his grooming. Simba looked wonderful, and it was clear he had been treated with patience and kindness. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Ghazala to other cat owners, and I’ll definitely be booking with her again!”

About: I’m a caring, reliable animal lover who genuinely enjoys spending time with cats and understanding their unique personalities. Whether your cat is playful, shy, independent, or loves attention, I’ll make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away. I’m happy to help with feeding, litter cleaning, playtime, cuddles (on their terms!), medication instructions if needed, and keeping to your cat’s normal routine. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet, and I’ll treat your cat with the same care and attention I would my own.

“Lauren looked after our two cats very well while we were away for a few days. Came round to meet them (& us!) beforehand and they got on well together. She was great at making sure the younger one came in for his food, and that they both got attention. Good at keeping us updated with photos each time. Thanks Lauren!”

About: What sets me apart is my personal experience with cats and other pets. I used to raise kittens in the past, so I’m very familiar with caring for young cats and understanding their needs. Currently, I have two male cats of my own, one is 3 years old and the other is 5 years old, so caring for cats is part of my everyday life. I also have a friendly Cocker Spaniel, which means I’m used to looking after different animals and understanding their personalities. I’m patient, attentive, and always follow the owner’s instructions carefully to make sure pets stay comfortable and in their normal routine. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention and care, and I’m happy to send updates and photos so owners can feel reassured while they are away.

“Rebecca took care of my cats when I was away for a week. She has the right personality to look after furry friends, as my boys warmed up to her in no time. I came back to two very happy kitties. I’m grateful to have found someone as reliable as her and I will definitely be booking her services again. ”

“Our first time using a pet sitter for our two cats and we couldn't be happier with the service Ryan provided. He answered all our questions, put us at ease with the process and more importantly, put our cats at ease! Will definitely be booking again.”

“I couldn’t have asked for a better cat sitter. From the moment Bella walked in, my cats — who (one of them )is famously selective about humans — warmed to her instantly. She sent thoughtful updates every day, complete with photos and little notes about there mood and antics. I came home to a relaxed, happy cats. Her care goes far beyond the basics; she genuinely gets cats. Thank you so much ❤️”

“Jade was amazing! We booked her to take care of our cat, Bruce, while we were away for the weekend getting married. She came by a few days beforehand to collect the keys and meet Bruce, and throughout the weekend, she made sure he was well-fed, content and updated us with photos. We couldn’t have asked for better care! Thanks Jason & Hannah”

“Jazz was fantastic! We received photos and brief updates twice a day, showing us two happy cats. It’s clear that our cats enjoyed Jazz caring for them and she certainly made a friend of our male cat with him running out to greet her car as she arrived ! (His sister remained shyer as is her nature but allowed small pets and attention) All the cat dishes were washed up, Jazz had taken our bin to the curb and she went above and beyond by popping some milk in the fridge for us as she knew we were arriving in the early hours and would fancy a cuppa! We will definitely be looking to have Jazz care for the cats again.”

“This was my first experience using Shilpi's dog care services and I'm very happy with it. Shilpi has a friendly demeanor and knows how to manage various types of dogs. I'm glad to have found Shilpi, and I intend to use her services in the future as and when necessary.”

“Where do I even start? I sent quite a few messages to detail Lola’s needs and asked so many questions. Karen always responded very quickly, having read all the information action and sounded so calm and reassuring. Lola spent the first 2 days with Karen, Alex and Pablo and I couldn’t be happier for my baby girl. She is being made to be part of the family but is also cared for according to her needs. She returned home after a full day in Karen’s care being very happy, having zoomies 🫶🏼 Karen is extremely conscientious, caring and lovely person. She truly takes great pride in looking after my girl. Karen, I cannot thank you enough for restoring my faith in people, especially orally when it comes to looking after my baby girl. You have been godsend and we are so relieved knowing Lola is in the best home she can be when I am in the office. THANK YOU 🫶🏼”

About: James and Zoe here 😇 We bring several years of hands‑on experience caring for dogs through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after neighbourhood pets, and raising our own dogs. I’ve grown up surrounded by animals—dogs, rabbits, hamsters, rats, fishes and more—and I also worked with animals, giving me a strong understanding of behaviour, welfare, and individual needs. We currently have a 3‑year‑old Shiba Inu and two bunnies, so we’re very familiar with daily routines, personality quirks, and the importance of tailored care. Our Shiba would absolutely love a furry friend to keep her company! We can also offer holiday care for small animals—just send me a message if that’s something you’re looking for too! Either of us work from home on most weekdays, and we’re able to offer weekend boarding as well. We’re home the majority of the time, so your pet will have plenty of company. We’re also quite flexible with drop‑off and pick‑up times to make scheduling easy for you. We live in a quiet cul-de-sac with a fully fenced garden, and there are lovely open fields just behind our house for plenty of walkies and exploring. P.S. The enclosure shown in our cover photo was only used temporarily while our bunnies were bonding — they are never kept caged. Our dog is only allowed into the bunny room under close supervision to ensure everyone stays safe and comfortable.

“Amelie is a dedicated, extremely organised dog walker with a caring sensitivity to dogs of all sizes. She set up a pre-walk meet to put me and my hounds ant ease and noted all the personal needs of each of my large (30kg each) Labradoodles. This put me at ease too, as I had not left my dogs before with anyone. She was easily contactable, fast to respond and had excellent time keeping. I would highly recommend Amelie’s dog walking/ sitting services to anyone and will look to book her again.”

“Samantha was brilliant with my Springer Charlie for his overnight stay. I think he felt right at home! Samantha met Charlie and I beforehand for a little meet and greet which was great. The communication was fantastic as well. All in all it was a really good experience for us and Charlie.”

“Andy has just looked after our Labrador for the last week. This is the first time he has had an extended stay with someone and we could have asked for more from Andy. He gave us the opportunity to come and meet him with Oak before so Oak could get familiar with where he was going to be staying and we could go through his needs. Andy then kept us updated about his stay and sent some lovely photos of the happy boy. Let’s just say that Oak didn’t want to come home from his holiday after all of Andy’s love and care and amazing walks around the area. Thank you so much!”

“Rachel looks after our Mini Schnauzer regularly and I cannot recommend her enough. Not only does he adore her, she is very reliable and provides us with regular updates. Our pup has got to meet and socialise with a number of other dogs too which has been great for him. Highly recommend!”

“Milo had a lovely stay with Sue. Sue was responsive to his needs and gave him really good care. Milo enjoyed his walks and Sue’s lovely garden. Sue kept us updated with photos and messages. I’m sure Milo will be back to visit in the future.”

“Chenyan and Suki (and Mae) took great care of Barley for the 2 nights he was with them. He very much enjoyed their company and that of another boarding dog. The communication was great and Chenyan shared lots of pictures both at home and on walks. He came back happy and exhausted, and we'll be happy to bring him back.”

“I would highly recommend James if you are looking for a trustworthy person who will treat your dog as his own. I’ve had full confidence in his ability to look after my dog (especially that he is high energy breed). Upon collection Bruce looked healthy and happy after the week as he bonded with James. Definitely would reach out again in the future. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Amanda, Trevor, and their family took exceptional care of our two dogs. They were communicative, kind, and very attentive to our pups throughout the two-week stay. Our large dogs each have their quirks, and it's clear that Amanda and Trevor are both very knowledgeable and compassionate in the way they cared for them. Any pup would be lucky to stay with them!”

“Deepa and the family have been amazing and accommodating! We needed someone to watch Juneau last minute and they were happy to take her in. She made sure to settle her in, have all the food listed and provide daily updates. Thank you so much!!”

“Sarah helped me out with dog boarding with an overnight stay at short notice and I can't thank her enough. She sent frequent photo and video updates with my miniature dachshund from her dog walk and looked like she was having great fun! I have absolute confidence that when I use Sarah she truly gets the home from home experience. I will definitely be using Sarah again!”

“Lucia was wonderful at all stages of our dog's stay with her! She was quick to respond to queries and accommodating as to drop-off / collection times. Lucia sent updates about our dog during her stay, including photos, and our dog seems to enjoy her short break away! We will be using Lucia again, for sure.”

“Maggie clearly had the best time with Colin and his gorgeous cockapoo, Kiso! Lots of fun and walks and playing together - really was great. Colin sent lots of good 'pupdates' and videos and really made sure Maggie was comfortable and happy, I'm sure Maggie would be delighted to stay over again on our next trip! Thank you”

“Vinny had a wonderful time staying with Andrea and Luka. Andrea sent regular updates and photos throughout the day, which gave me real peace of mind while he was with her. By the time I picked him up, he was tuckered out and ready for bed. I would thoroughly recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a caring dog sitter.”

“Thank you so much for looking after Betty for a 2nd time. Once again, my husband and I were able to go away, safe in the knowledge that Maria and Vincenzo would be looking after and loving Betty like she was their own. I would not hesitate to recommend and rebook with Maria, time and time again. Xx”

“Helena was amazing with my Rottweiler Harley. She looked after her, sent lots of pictures, updates and a couple of videos. Helena was happy to listen to harleys food requirements, giving her treats, handle her walks and best of all giving her lots of fusses and attention. Would highly recommend 👌”

“I only left Elliot with Eleanor for one night, as a trial, before I leave him for a longer stay. He looked immediately at home when I left him and was the image of a happy dog when I came to pick him up the next day.”
“We were so pleased to find Lisa and really grateful that she was able to look after Luna at short notice. Luna is a nervous dog but seemed to have a great time. Thank you Lisa.”

“A great experience from start to finish. Julian looked after our two labs extremely well, and they came home tired and happy. He sent regular updates so we always knew what was going on, will definitely leave them again”
