Experienced Dog Care
We take the time to understand your dog’s individual needs, routine and personality so we can create a true “home from home” experience. We are a family of four with two 10-year-old children and our friendly 1-year-old Labrador. My husband David and I have been caring for dogs for friends and family for over six years, and we’re now delighted to open our home to your much-loved pets. We have experience with a range of temperaments and adapt our approach to suit each dog. Whether your dog is energetic and playful or prefers a calmer environment, we ensure they feel safe, comfortable and well cared for at all times.

Hugo just got back from a five day stay with Rachel and her family. I have to say that he was so well looked after, and I'm so glad that I chose her to look after him Rachel is a genuine dog lover and made sure that I was kept up to date daily with photos ensuring that Hugo's stay was going well. Five stars!!!
We left our Dachshund Colin with Rachel for the weekend, and she was amazing! Lots of communication and pictures, and Colin seemed very happy and well cared for. Would 100% have Rachel look after Colin again x
Rachel was amazing with Harry, I had regular pictures and updates of his stay. Definitely recommend Rachel.
Rachel looks after our Mini Schnauzer regularly and I cannot recommend her enough. Not only does he adore her, she is very reliable and provides us with regular updates. Our pup has got to meet and socialise with a number of other dogs too which has been great for him. Highly recommend!
Rachel and her family were wonderful hosts to our dog Digby! We got lots of updates and he seemed to be having a wonderful time. He can sometimes be shy in new environments, but was completely relaxed and at home with Rachel. He can't wait to stay again!
Rachel was fantastic with Harry – regular pics and updates throughout. Highly recommended!

Programa
I am at home and my husband works from home full time. We are able to do two walks per day. We have one home educated child who loves to help out.

Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are our top priorities. Our semi-detached five-bedroom home has a secure, fully fenced medium-sized garden, and outdoor time is always supervised. Dogs are welcome to enjoy the whole home if that is what they are used to. We carefully manage introductions, especially with our Labrador. These are done calmly and in a neutral setting—usually on a walk—so both dogs can get to know each other in a relaxed way. We monitor all interactions and can provide separate spaces if needed to ensure every dog feels comfortable. Dogs are supervised throughout the day, with an adult at home at all times. In the unlikely event of illness or emergency, we will contact you immediately and take your dog to a local vet if required, following any instructions you have provided.

Our day usually starts with a good morning walk, often at Ashenbury or Dinton, in quieter areas away from busy spots. We then spend the day at home with plenty of enrichment, playtime and opportunities for rest and relaxation. In the afternoon, we head out for another walk around 4pm. Dinner is served after the walk, followed by a calm and cosy evening—dog cuddles are always welcome! We aim to follow your dog’s usual routine as closely as possible to help them settle quickly and feel completely at ease in our home.
