“If Niro could speak, he'd be saying he wants to go back again. Great communication, and updates with photos s. During the stay. He clearly had a great time, and met his new friend Bailey. I can definitely recommend as a sitter if you want your dog liked after.”

“Sadie's two night stay went very positively with this sitter 😊 We had a very good initial meet and greet and felt very comfortable leaving Sadie in their home. I appreciated a couple of updates during her stay and was happy to see her settling in well! Sadie is an older and quieter dog and this sitter provided for her needs very well. I would definitely recommend this sitter based on my experience.”

“Eve was a great sitter for our Lady. Especially under the extreme circumstances of the heatwave. We had some updates, and Eve amended the care plan to fit the extra heat situation too. Will be rebooking for next month. Thank you for taking good care of our girl. Much appreciated. 🙏🏼💖”

“Thank you so much for looking after Sasha. She looked so happy in all the photos and videos you shared, which gave us such peace of mind while we were away. You're such a lovely person, and it's clear how much care and affection you gave her. We really appreciate everything you did and would be delighted to have you look after Sasha again. 😊”

“This was Peaches’ 2nd stay with Helen, arranged at short notice which was very helpful! Peaches and Helen have formed a precious bond, it was delightful to see Peaches so happy and excited running towards Helen and going into her house, evidently feeling very at home. Lovely house, garden and rural environment. Helen looked after Peaches brilliantly and was vigilant regarding Peaches’ joint issues, and gave her medicine accordingly. We have another stay booked for our summer holiday.”

“Holly had a lovely time and enjoyed all the fuss and attention. When I first started searching for a sitter to look after Holly for three weeks I was quite worried about leaving her for that length of time, but once we had met Anna I knew our girl would be in safe hands. Thanks Anna 🐾”

“My one year old cocker spaniel had a fabulous 10 days with Mikayla and Alec! Mikayla arranged a meet and greet to check he would get on with their dog Susan and wanted to know his routine, likes, dislikes etc so she would know how to care for him. He was treated like one of the family and got on with Susan brilliantly. Mikayla kept me updated with frequent photos so I knew he was getting on well. I would have no hesitation in recommending Mikayla to anyone looking for a boarder who will care for your dog like their own 🐶”

About: About Our Home & Experience I have over a decade of experience caring for dogs of all personalities. I am dog lover who truly understand that pets are cherished family members. I know how stressful it can be to leave them behind when traveling, which is why I offer a warm, safe, and loving "home away from home." Meet Chamcham & Our Dog-Friendly Home I am a proud parent of Chamcham, my friendly, playful, and neutered 1.5-year-old Cockapoo (10 kg). I raised Chamcham from an 8-week-old puppy using positive reinforcement, lots of treats, and unconditional love. I also had a rescue dog named Caramel, who had a timid past. Through patience and care, I helped him overcome his anxieties before he peacefully passed away from old age. These experiences taught me that every dog is unique and deserves a tailored approach. Daily Routine & Comfort Spacious & Safe: I have a fully fenced, secure garden. When the weather is nice, the garden door is kept open for free play; otherwise, I listen closely to our dogs' cues when they need a potty break. Active Days: I am a teacher, and during the summer break, I have plenty of time to dedicate to my furry guests! We take walks at least twice a day (morning and evening), with extra outings or midday strolls whenever needed. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on all furniture in my home to lounge and relax! Peaceful Environment: I have no children at home, ensuring a calm and focused environment for your dog. Whether your dog needs an energetic playmate like Chamcham or just a relaxed, cozy spot to nap, I am excited to welcome them into our family! As a teacher currently on summer break, I have full-time availability to dedicate my complete attention, care, and love to your dog throughout the day. My daily routine includes taking my dog for at least two main walks every day—once in the morning and once in the evening—typically lasting between 30 to 70 minutes each. Since I am home during the break, I am extremely flexible and happy to add an extra midday walk or play session whenever needed to suit your dog's individual routine and energy levels! I am lucky to live near lovely green spaces and parks away from busy roads, making our walks safe, peaceful, and enjoyable. I have a secure, fully fenced garden where dogs can play safely and relax. My friendly Cockapoo, Chamcham, is always up for a game, ensuring our guest dog has a fun and wonderful stay with us!

“Emma and her husband looked after my puppy for the night, they were both very understanding as unfortunately he became ill overnight after being at a dog show and eating something that didn’t agree with him. Very good communication and very understanding with a stressful situation.”

“Kenzo had an amazing time!! She really looked after him and made sure he had enough exercise throughout the day. He is quite a fussy dog so she did everything to make sure he is eating enough and most importantly, she was constantly updating me and sending me pictures and videos of him while I was away. Highly recommended and will definitely be rebooking!! :)”

“Wei was absolutely fabulous, she looked after my cat Dinky for a week. Wei kept me updated with lots of photos and gave Dinky lots of attention so he was a very happy cat! Would recommend Wei 100%!”

“Shelley was the perfect the dog sitter for our Vizsla Bailey. She made us feel so comfortable by ensuring she got to know us before the sit by meeting for a few walks prior. Bailey had a wonderful time and made some lovely bonds with her family. During the sit Shelley shared photos everyday of Bailey which was lovely to see her having a great time. We would highly recommend Shelley and her family to sit for your pets!”

“My dog loved to be with Michaela and her family! She looked after him one week like after her own: feed and even sleep in her bed! Everyone was sad when I went to pick him up. Thank you Michaela for looking after my boy!🤗🥰”

“We had an excellent experience with Tara and her lovely family. A big THANK YOU to her and her family. They are warm, welcoming, and clearly genuine dog lovers. Our dog was so comfortable and well cared for, and the regular updates and photos were very reassuring. They extended their help and support during Christmas and treated Benji like their own, it meant so much. I could relax knowing he was in such a kind and loving household. We would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.”

“Sam and Rob are clearly dog lovers and welcomed Boni and Truffle into their home, where they settled very well. They were given lots of cuddles and love. Sam kept me updated several times a day with newsy reports and photos of their daily antics! I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a loving home from home. Thank you so much Sam and Rob for everything!”

“It was difficult for us to leave our baby for a few days but we definitely found the right person to look after her. Jess sent through photos and videos of Bella playing with her dogs, and by the looks of it she didn’t miss us! We are very happy to leave Bella with Jess in the future and can’t thank her enough for taking such good care of her. Would highly recommend Jess to anyone looking for a dog sitter!”

“Dex had a lovely stay with Georgia and her family. He seemed very well cared for. I found Georgia really easy to communicate with and plan Dexters stay with her. I would definitely use her services again”

“Ella has been a great doggy sitter for our Dexter. She sent us pupdates all the time. It truly was a home from home for him. Thank you Ella for looking after Dexter so well.”

“This is the first time we used this service and we have been so happy and comfortable leaving our cats in Ella’s caring hands. Ella has been amazing, listened to all our quirky little requests about our cats and we had every confidence in her. We will definitely asking Ella again when we need her. Thank you so much Ella x”

About: I live in Basingstoke with my family and have been in the UK since 2003, having grown up in South Africa. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without pets in it. I share my home with one awesome little Jack Russell who is truly the centre of my heart and my family’s world. Growing up with pets has taught me how important they are as family members, not “just animals,” and I understand the love, patience, and care they deserve. I’m fortunate to work from home, which means I’m always around for my children and our fur baby. This also allows me to offer reliable, attentive care for other people’s precious companions. I have the time, availability, and genuine passion to help give pets the care, comfort, and attention they need while their owners are away. I work flexible hours from home and do the daily school run, but outside of that I’m available for pop-in visits, walks, daycare (at my home or yours), and overnight boarding — both during the week and at weekends. Pets in my care are treated as part of the family and looked after in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a family home with children who are kind, gentle, and used to being around animals, as well as our friendly 1-year-old Jack Russell, who is well socialised and loves having company. All interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. In my home, pets are never left alone for long periods and their routines are kept as close as possible to what they’re used to, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest. My home is clean, secure, and pet-safe, with plenty of space for relaxation and play. I carefully consider each booking to ensure it’s a good fit for a home environment and introduce pets slowly and thoughtfully. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I’m respectful, reliable, and follow all instructions closely to maintain consistency and trust. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone else, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

“We had a great experience with Krizsta looking after our little female cat. She was very attentive and punctual, ensuring our cat builds a bond with her beforehand, making sure she had everything she needed and even going an extra mile by asking us to let her know if the cat needed anything else. When we came back from our holiday, our cat seemed very happy and well looked after, so we would definitely book her again.”

“Chelsea was great, she went above and beyond, loved all the photo updates and felt more able to enjoy our holiday knowing Archie was being so well looked after. Hope Chelsea is available every time we go on holiday!”

“Amazing ! Thank you Freya for taking such good care of our cats. You went above and beyond and sent lovely photos, which gave us peace of mind and reassurance while we were away. Amazing communication, super professional, couldn’t have asked for more. Really grateful for your care and attention.”

About: I’ve taken care of Dogs since I was 10 years old. I have lots of patience and I have taken care of pets for my aunts, grandmother and my own dogs. Back home, I had three Boerboels two Jack Russells and a German short haired pointer. I regularly bathed, walked and groomed my dogs. I have such a love for all animals. Dogs are so important because they’re a part of your family. I currently don’t have any other employment so I’ll be able to put my full attention into taking care of your pets to the best of my ability. I take dogs for regular walks, give them treats feed them on time and bathe them when necessary. I love playing with pets out in the garden or the park. I feel that exercise and love the two most important things that you can give to a dog

“Katherine is lovely, her communication is great and she gives a very calm and confident vibe, our dogs were very happy with her, and were very chilled when we arrived home. Katherine is caring and gentle, which is exactly what our dogs need, so we are very pleased to have found Katherine. Very happy”

“Timea did such a great job taking care of our 2 cats! They looked very happy in the videos she sent us and she took time to play with them and brush them :) I would recommend her and would definitely like her to take care of my cats again in the future!”

About: Hello fellow cat lovers! As a dedicated pet care provider, I know that while cats may seem independent, they thrive on engagement. My understanding comes from years of personal experience; I had two wonderful cats as family members for about 13 years, which truly deepened my appreciation for their unique personalities. That's why my cat care visits go beyond the basics. I believe playtime is paramount for a happy, healthy cat, offering crucial mental enrichment and a wonderful way to strengthen bonds. I make sure every visit includes dedicated, fun play sessions tailored to your cat's unique personality and energy. Let's keep those paws active and minds sharp!

About: I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities for many years. Whether shy or playful, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, groom, play with, and comfort their cats—even those with special needs. I treat every cat like my own, with patience and genuine affection.
“Alicia and her partner George were very kind to our cat Chloe. They looked after her very well, providing daily updates and photos, and we could see when we returned that Chloe had bonded with them, which was wonderful. We would definitely recommend Alicia and will book with her again.”

About: I’ve always loved animals, and alongside my experience with dogs, I also have a strong understanding of cats and their individual needs. I have a Bengal cat, so I’m very aware that cats aren’t all the same - some are playful and energetic, while others prefer calm, quiet environments. I take the time to understand each cat’s personality and routine, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for in their own space. I also have a background in animal care with a Level 3 Extended Diploma in Animal Management, so you can trust your pets are in knowledgeable and capable hands.
About: Hi my name is Anna :) I simply adore all animals and do believe a home is not a home without one. I cant think of anything better than to be curled up on a sofa with a doggy by my side. Having recently lost my Mini Schnauzer Mutley earlier on this year I now feel ready to put all my love and care into something as rewarding as this. In the last few years I have had 4 Mini Schnauzers one of which was a rescue from Battersea (Missy) She came to me a scared nervous dog who had never even seen grass or been on a lead and struggled being in the same room. She eventually after a little time blossomed into the sweetest poppet and lost her fears and lived the life she so truly deserved. I can honestly say it was the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I dearly love all animals and want you to know they would receive the best care ❤️ in my company. A truly pampered pooch ! X I am currently at home so able to give full commitment to your pet. I have a completely fenced off back garden in a fairly quiet area. I have a fenced off back garden in a reasonably quiet area. My home is their home and I would allow them everywhere in the house.
“Leila was brilliant. We have not left our two cats with a 'stranger' before and were a little nervous about it tbh for both the cats and the sitter. No need to worry with Leila, she sent a contact summery everyday to us with pictures and real feedback. Leila's perseverance with one particularly shy cat paid off after a couple of days, they became friends and I don't think Dave has ever made friends with anyone other than us! We're really grateful for her care in our home and arriving home to two happy cats is just the best feeling.”

About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of pets from dogs to mice. Dogs are my favourite but I love all animals and have looked after family cats whilst they’ve been away. I work from home during the week so can be flexible and I also have availability at the weekends or in the evenings as well. Happy to follow any instructions, big or small, to offer owners peace of mind that your pets will be well looked after in your absence.

“Leanne looked after our young pup for two days while I worked long shifts, and she was great. Our pup was excited to see her each day, and it was clear he felt comfortable in her home. She made sure he was well fed and taken care of, and he came home tired and happy—he slept soundly after what I can only imagine were very active, fun filled days. I really appreciate the care and attention she gave him. Highly recommend!”

“We couldn’t be happier with the care our dog received! From the very first meeting, it was clear that she truly loves dogs and knows how to make them feel safe and comfortable. She kept us updated with messages and photos, which was incredibly reassuring, and our dog came home happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. Reliable, kind, and professional – we would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy dog sitter.”

About: Dogs have always been part of our life, starting with our family Pomeranian. I then inherited two Jack russels which gave birth to my little willow ☺️, and now here we are! We are countryside bums through and through .. horses, muddy boots, and a home that naturally revolves around animals. We joined Rover because we genuinely love caring for dogs (and because it stops me andopting another one… 😅). Every dog is treated like part of the household, so they feel right at home. We do things the right way here, and are fully licensed (26/00059/AWAAL), fully insured and a dog ruled home 🏡 I work from home every day, so dogs are never left alone. My routine is totally flexible and shaped around your dog 🌳. Our home has a large 160ft garden with brand new 6ft secure fencing, and we can collect and drop off in my (very loved) dedicated doggy car (the dogs seem to think she's fabulous) 😂🐾 Expect a happy dog, regular updates, and knowledgable hosts! Pet care fits into my daily life because it is my daily life 🐶 I work from home every day, so dogs are never left alone and are part of normal routines. Days are flexible and dog-led with garden time, walks, play, naps, and lots of company 🌳🐾 Basically, the dogs set the schedule and I just follow it 😅 Each stay is tailored to the individual dog staying with us ...Care is calm, consistent, and focused on making dogs feel safe, settled, and at home.
About: I have been a qualified veterinary nurse since 2002, caring for all types of pets. For a long while I have cared for friends, family and clients pets. Now that we have moved to a house with a large secure garden I have decided to start my own business. Currently not working at a fixed employment (I locum at various practices) as hoping to build up my business so will be around all day for your pet. My only commitments are school drop off and pick up. I have a large fenced back garden and can offer overnight stays and company all day for your pet. I live in cliddesden so have some wonderful walks on my doorstep.

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers that can’t wait to give your pup as much love as possible. We currently have a cocker spaniel x dachshund of our own that we’ve raised from a puppy, so we understand the patience, consistency, and care it takes to support them through every stage of life. On top of that, my partner (Grace) grew up with dogs so she has been surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses for as long as she can remember. Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about dog behavior, body language, and the importance of positive reinforcement. This knowledge has been incredibly helpful not just with our own dog, but also when caring for other people’s pets, whether its giving energetic pups an outlet, or sticking to training routines we’re happy to help. We know how important it is to keep dogs on their own schedule and in line with the habits they’re used to, so we’re happy to follow any training, feeding, walking, or play requirements you have in place. For us, dogs are part of our family. Our goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, and fun experience every time they’re with us so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. Grace works full time from home with the odd day in the office but Tom works from home when Grace is in the office so there is always someone at home. We have a small fenced garden to keep your puppy safe, and as we mentioned before we have a dog of our own so walks and playtime are already in our routine. Our pup loves to snuggle up in the evenings so we would love for yours to join us too.
“Ella has always been very attentive, since the first contact. We received photos, she informed us about how Bayle was doing. In other words, excelente communication and very professional. We could see that she really loves what she does. I really recommended her services and as soon as I need again, for sure I will leave Bayle with Ella, she is extremely reliable.”

About: I grew up with a big, silly Irish Red Setter who was truly part of the family. He set the bar for how fun, gentle and full of personality dogs can be and we still laugh about his antics today. In recent years I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s dogs while they’ve been away, making sure they’re fed, walked, played with and properly cared for. I absolutely love going on long walks, so having a four-legged pal to join me is always a joy. I’m a naturally caring person and I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy and like they’re having their own little holiday too.

About: My wife Livia and I have had dogs for our whole life, ever since we were kids. I am always any new dogs best friend and Livia understands them to such a deep level. We both love dogs and treat them as a member of the family. Our old dog Bailey (11) is also co-parent to our two kids (8 and 5) and they have grown up with a love for animals. Together we all love going on adventures! We feel absolutely confident we can help look after your furry friends. Honestly, we would want your dog to have a nice time with us and help you feel that they are being looked after as they should be. We both work part time from home so there is always someone in the house and around. The kids will be in school during school times so around most of the time. We already have our dog so we don't go on long trips without him and wouldn't anyway when looking after other animals. In our home, it would very much depend on what your dog(s) need. We are pretty adaptable and can move things around to suit. We have a routine of sorts with our dog Bailey around feeding and walking but some things are more flexible. Our house has some green areas around as I like to get some off lead time with Bailey when we go on walks - this can all be discussed. Bailey has his bed and you can obviously bring your dogs bed. The bed is somewhere that a dog can go if they want peace and quiet which will be respected. Obviously there are a million and other things that you may want to know! I am very happy for any questions.
About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats all my life and have cared for them for over 30 years. I’ve shared my home with German Shepherds, beagles and cats, and truly understand how much love and attention they need — especially when you’re away. I’m a certified Small Animal Hydrotherapist, currently studying L6 Veterinary Physiotherapy. I’ve also completed animal first aid, behaviour, and nutrition training. I’m DBS checked and committed to offering safe, loving care for your pets in their familiar environment. I’m currently working part-time and studying veterinary physiotherapy, which means I have a flexible schedule to provide dedicated care. I’m available most weekdays and weekends for pet sitting and visits in RG22 and nearby areas. I’m DBS-checked, fully and trained in pet first aid. I never wear branded clothing or drive marked vehicles, so I won’t draw attention to your empty home. Your pet’s wellbeing, routine and comfort are always my top priority — whether that’s keeping their litter tray sparkling clean or giving them enrichment and puzzle time.
About: I started petsitting in July 2021 to turn my animal care hobby into a side profession! I am highly experienced in dog sitting, dog walking and cat sitting on Rover.com and have many repeat clients. I used to board dogs in my family home but now that I am in student accommodation I offer house sitting, drop-ins and dog walking only. I live in the Kensington and Chelsea area, London. I am a 5th year medical student in my professional life and before deciding to branch into medicine I had 3 weeks of work experience in various veterinary practices - including Willows and Hollybank. I am also currently undergoing a canine first aid course. My pets I have had my dog Henry (golden retriever x labrador) since he was 8 weeks old so I understand the constant supervision required with puppies, having been through it myself! Henry is now 3 years old and an absolute joy. He lived with me in London while he was a puppy but now lives in my family home in Cheshire as I am not allowed to have him in student accommodation. I am familiar with looking after many types of animal. I have owned cats since I was 8 years old and understand each cat has different needs, personalities and eating preferences, with some being more shy than others. For instance, last year I looked after a very shy cat who only comes out into the open with its owners, and with a gentle and quiet approach I managed to gain the cat's trust and even managed to play with it! In my family home we have 2 rabbits which are 10 years old and live in a spacious environment and get fed lots of hay! I understand rabbits' needs very well, and used to have a blog on rabbit care - I am also familiar with RWAF's campaign 'A Hutch is not enough' and understand rabbits' needs for a social companion and a spacious environment to run and play in. Questions Please feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you like, I appreciate it can be scary leaving your pet with a petsitter for the first time. Please feel free to contact me if you are unsure about my rates as these can be adjusted depending on the length of service - ie. If you only need me for the evening and not overnight I can reduce rates for you. Please see the ‘safety, trust and environment’ section for more information about my approach to pet sitting. I am available evenings / overnight but have clinical placement in the day Monday -Friday except Wednesday afternoon. I am available all day and night on the weekends. Dogs I am very comfortable looking after dogs of all sizes and I'm familiar with positive-reinforcement training techniques so I'm happy to continue any ongoing training with your dog. When I am house-sitting, I like to take dogs out for at least 2 walks a day, and depending on the dog's needs and recall ability I endeavour to take them to local dog parks for a run-around and play. I regularly ensure water bowls are topped up, especially in hot weather, and will work alongside the owner to maintain a desired feeding/treat schedule depending on your preferences. In the house, I like to play tug, fetch and enrichment games with dogs to keep them occupied, and of course lots of love and cuddles if the dog prefers it! I offer house sitting, drop-in sessions and dog walking. Cats Like with dogs, cats come with all sorts of different personalities! I believe cats require a more gentle and subdued approach than with most dogs (unless the dog is nervous), allowing them to come up to you in their own time rather than approaching them. I offer drop-in sessions and overnight sitting. Rabbits I understand a rabbit's physiological need to be constantly eating, which is why I will always ensure they have more than enough hay to eat. I will feed your rabbit, top up their water and offer them company, letting them out of their hutch into a secure area to run around if necessary. I offer drop-in sessions and overnight sitting.

About: Raising and training a black lab in London and Hampshire. I have lots of experience with my own , as well as looking after friend’s puppies and dogs. I am on a hybrid work schedule meaning some days I am in London and other days I work from home and am available during the day for pet care. I would just need appropriate notice to ensure it fits my work schedule. I am available evenings and weekends. Happy to work to your schedule and routine. I crate train my own dog and am working on training her to be a working gun dog , so a lot of work has gone into her training, but I am happy to follow the client’s lead with how they would like their dog to be cared for. My dog is incredibly friendly and loves socialising with all dogs , but can be separated if yours needs space .

About: James and Toni have both had family dogs throughout our lives. James has a 14 year old black lab at his parents who we look after and miss not being around every day! James is self employed so can fit his schedule around the dogs. Early start so is home in the afternoons. Toni works from home 2 days a week which is flexible. We have an open plan downstairs with lots of space, and a stair gate to keep the dogs downstairs. We have an enclosed garden with space to explore.
“Eleanor could not have done more to ensure a fantastic stay for Lisa, even collecting and dropping off to help me out. Lisa had a fantastic time with Custard, Peter (and the cat) and came back full of health and bounce. I could not rate Eleanor and family more highly.”

“Leanne thank you for taking such good care of Baxter while I was away. All of your photos and updates were great so I could enjoy my holiday knowing Baxter was in good hands and having a great time!”

“Left our fur baby with Hannah while we went away on holiday. Communication was great, got a couple of photos. Will definitely use Hannah again as it seems like Lenny has the holiday blues too after getting back too.”

“Joshua was amazing with our Golden Retriever, Nova. He looked after her for a week while we were on holiday and kept us updated the whole time. Nova came back happy and well cared for. We’d definitely book with him again and highly recommend him!”

“Obi stayed with Nicola overnight on quite short notice, and Nicola couldn’t have been more flexible or accommodating to our requests and timings. She and her family treated Obi like one of their own and were incredibly considerate of his needs, making sure he was safe in the sun and comfortable in their home. We received plenty of updates and photos of how he was getting on and we wouldn’t hesitate to leave Obi in Nicola’s care again!”
