“I used James’ services for an overnight stay for my border collie for the first time. Holly took an immediate liking to James, his family and his dog Bailey. She had such an amazing time at James’ house and I got regular updates on how she’s doing. Really happy with the care - would truly recommend.”

“Peaches spent 9 wonderful days with Helen while we were on our holiday. This was her 3rd stay with Helen and they have formed a lovely bond. Helen took very good care of Peaches during the heatwave. She kept us updated with daily photos and stories about their time together, which was very assuring. Highly recommended!”

“Woody had a wonderful time with Anna. They seem to have had a lot of adventures, and when we went to pick him up he was completely chilled and relaxed. Anna provided lots of updates and photos so we knew our boy was in safe hands. Would completely recommend Anna.”

About: Myself and Ben have both grown up surrounded by family pets and have always had a huge love for animals. Over the years, we've been the go-to pet sitters for family and friends, caring for dogs and cats for anything from a single day to several weeks at a time. Sadly, we lost our beloved 18-year-old cat last year. While we're not quite ready for another permanent furry family member, we would love the opportunity to share our home, care, and affection with your pets. We understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy, and well looked after while you're away. Whether it's walks, feeding, playtime, cuddles, sticking to their usual routine, or simply providing companionship, we're happy to help. We'll treat your pet as if they were our own and make sure they receive plenty of love, attention, and care. I currently work from home full time Monday - Friday and my partner is at home 2-3 days during the week; this means we are on hand to give your pet the best care. We live in a home with a flat, secure garden, perfect for supervised outdoor time, and an open-plan living space downstairs. We do not have any other pets or children so if any specifics are needed (i.e dog beds / crate) these will have to be provided.
“Absolutely wonderful experience for my dog Hugo. Not only did Belinda keep me updated on how my dog was getting on for the duration of his stay, she also sent me pictures. Excellent service. Belinda has a great passion for animals and also made us feel so welcome on arrival and when I collected. I know I will love for her to care for my dog again when I’m on holiday or have to work away. Belinda Thank you ?”
“Shelley was the perfect the dog sitter for our Vizsla Bailey. She made us feel so comfortable by ensuring she got to know us before the sit by meeting for a few walks prior. Bailey had a wonderful time and made some lovely bonds with her family. During the sit Shelley shared photos everyday of Bailey which was lovely to see her having a great time. We would highly recommend Shelley and her family to sit for your pets!”

About: James and Toni have both had family dogs throughout our lives. James has a 14 year old black lab at his parents who we look after and miss not being around every day! James is self employed so can fit his schedule around the dogs. Early start so is home in the afternoons. Toni works from home 2 days a week which is flexible. We have an open plan downstairs with lots of space, and a stair gate to keep the dogs downstairs. We have an enclosed garden with space to explore.

About: We’re lifelong dog lovers that can’t wait to give your pup as much love as possible. We currently have a cocker spaniel x dachshund of our own that we’ve raised from a puppy, so we understand the patience, consistency, and care it takes to support them through every stage of life. On top of that, my partner (Grace) grew up with dogs so she has been surrounded by wagging tails and wet noses for as long as she can remember. Over the years, we’ve learned a lot about dog behavior, body language, and the importance of positive reinforcement. This knowledge has been incredibly helpful not just with our own dog, but also when caring for other people’s pets, whether its giving energetic pups an outlet, or sticking to training routines we’re happy to help. We know how important it is to keep dogs on their own schedule and in line with the habits they’re used to, so we’re happy to follow any training, feeding, walking, or play requirements you have in place. For us, dogs are part of our family. Our goal is to give your pet a safe, loving, and fun experience every time they’re with us so you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in great hands. Grace works full time from home with the odd day in the office but Tom works from home when Grace is in the office so there is always someone at home. We have a small fenced garden to keep your puppy safe, and as we mentioned before we have a dog of our own so walks and playtime are already in our routine. Our pup loves to snuggle up in the evenings so we would love for yours to join us too.
“Ella has been a great doggy sitter for our Dexter. She sent us pupdates all the time. It truly was a home from home for him. Thank you Ella for looking after Dexter so well.”

“I highly recommend Margarita to look after your doggies. She made us feel relaxed by sending multiple pictures, videos and updates. She clearly loves dogs and gave both of ours plenty of love and affection. We would absolutely use her services again.”

“Emma and her husband looked after my puppy for the night, they were both very understanding as unfortunately he became ill overnight after being at a dog show and eating something that didn’t agree with him. Very good communication and very understanding with a stressful situation.”

“Eve was a great sitter for our Lady. Especially under the extreme circumstances of the heatwave. We had some updates, and Eve amended the care plan to fit the extra heat situation too. Will be rebooking for next month. Thank you for taking good care of our girl. Much appreciated. 🙏🏼💖”

“Left our fur baby with Hannah while we went away on holiday. Communication was great, got a couple of photos. Will definitely use Hannah again as it seems like Lenny has the holiday blues too after getting back too.”

“Very happy to have found Jess! I could tell from the meet and greet that Wilbur would be well looked after and treated as one of the family. He had a great time with Jess, lots of time playing outdoors and plenty of snoozing and Jess sent lots of photos so I could see how he was getting on through the day. Would highly recommend Jess for your dog care.”

“Joshua was amazing with our Golden Retriever, Nova. He looked after her for a week while we were on holiday and kept us updated the whole time. Nova came back happy and well cared for. We’d definitely book with him again and highly recommend him!”

“Honestly would rate Mikayla higher if I could! I booked very last minute due to kennel cancellation the day before I was flying abroad! Mikayla met me and my dog Luna for a quick meet and greet and all went so well with both Luna and her dog Susan. Luna is a Weimaraner and is naturally a nervous dog but she took to them very quickly. I received beautiful pictures and updates during her weekend stay and felt so relaxed knowing Luna was being looked after and loved while I was away. I will 100% use Mikayla in the future and would highly recommend her services.”
“Lauren provided lots of updates as to how Ralph was doing and customised the experience to meet the needs of our dog. Ralph had a great time, we would be more than happy to book with Lauren again”

“This is the first time we used this service and we have been so happy and comfortable leaving our cats in Ella’s caring hands. Ella has been amazing, listened to all our quirky little requests about our cats and we had every confidence in her. We will definitely asking Ella again when we need her. Thank you so much Ella x”

“Therasa goes above and beyond the updates, photos and videos are amazing. The boys are so relaxed and chilled on our return. Fantastic care of my tortoise also. Highly recommend. ”

“Amazing ! Thank you Freya for taking such good care of our cats. You went above and beyond and sent lovely photos, which gave us peace of mind and reassurance while we were away. Amazing communication, super professional, couldn’t have asked for more. Really grateful for your care and attention.”

“We had a great experience with Krizsta looking after our little female cat. She was very attentive and punctual, ensuring our cat builds a bond with her beforehand, making sure she had everything she needed and even going an extra mile by asking us to let her know if the cat needed anything else. When we came back from our holiday, our cat seemed very happy and well looked after, so we would definitely book her again.”

About: I have over 10 years of experience caring for animals and have had cats for most of my life. I currently have two cats of my own, so I understand how special pets are and how important it is they feel safe and loved. I’m regularly recommended by family and friends to care for their cats, including feeding, setting up automatic feeders, cleaning litter trays, and giving plenty of cuddles and attention. I’m experienced with both kittens and elderly cats and genuinely love caring for animals.

“Jessica was amazing, my cats were very happy and well looked after. Jessica clearly loves animals and is amazing with cats, one of mine is a bit shyer than the other but they clearly felt comfortable and cuddly with her.”

About: I live in Basingstoke with my family and have been in the UK since 2003, having grown up in South Africa. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I can’t imagine a home without pets in it. I share my home with one awesome little Jack Russell who is truly the centre of my heart and my family’s world. Growing up with pets has taught me how important they are as family members, not “just animals,” and I understand the love, patience, and care they deserve. I’m fortunate to work from home, which means I’m always around for my children and our fur baby. This also allows me to offer reliable, attentive care for other people’s precious companions. I have the time, availability, and genuine passion to help give pets the care, comfort, and attention they need while their owners are away. I work flexible hours from home and do the daily school run, but outside of that I’m available for pop-in visits, walks, daycare (at my home or yours), and overnight boarding — both during the week and at weekends. Pets in my care are treated as part of the family and looked after in a calm, safe, and loving environment. I live in a family home with children who are kind, gentle, and used to being around animals, as well as our friendly 1-year-old Jack Russell, who is well socialised and loves having company. All interactions are always supervised to ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe. In my home, pets are never left alone for long periods and their routines are kept as close as possible to what they’re used to, including feeding times, walks, play, and rest. My home is clean, secure, and pet-safe, with plenty of space for relaxation and play. I carefully consider each booking to ensure it’s a good fit for a home environment and introduce pets slowly and thoughtfully. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I’m respectful, reliable, and follow all instructions closely to maintain consistency and trust. I understand how important it is to feel confident leaving your pet with someone else, so I treat every animal as if they were my own and provide regular updates and photos for peace of mind.

About: I love love cats and understand their need for calm, safe, and clean environments. I’m happy to keep them company, play with them gently, and respect their boundaries. I make sure their space stays tidy, and I pay attention to their unique personalities.

About: I’ve cared for cats of all ages and personalities for many years. Whether shy or playful, I always make sure they feel safe, loved, and well looked after. Friends and family have trusted me to feed, groom, play with, and comfort their cats—even those with special needs. I treat every cat like my own, with patience and genuine affection.

About: Hello!!! My husband Carl and I have x4 cats and a guinea pig. I’ve had cats ever since I was a child. My Mum has 5 who I also look after. Carl and I share the cat feedings depending on who is available that day as we work split shifts so you may see both of us 😀
About: Hi my name is Anna :) I simply adore all animals and do believe a home is not a home without one. I cant think of anything better than to be curled up on a sofa with a doggy by my side. Having recently lost my Mini Schnauzer Mutley earlier on this year I now feel ready to put all my love and care into something as rewarding as this. In the last few years I have had 4 Mini Schnauzers one of which was a rescue from Battersea (Missy) She came to me a scared nervous dog who had never even seen grass or been on a lead and struggled being in the same room. She eventually after a little time blossomed into the sweetest poppet and lost her fears and lived the life she so truly deserved. I can honestly say it was the most rewarding thing I have ever done. I dearly love all animals and want you to know they would receive the best care ❤️ in my company. A truly pampered pooch ! X I am currently at home so able to give full commitment to your pet. I have a completely fenced off back garden in a fairly quiet area. I have a fenced off back garden in a reasonably quiet area. My home is their home and I would allow them everywhere in the house.

“Katherine was great from start to finish. She was friendly and professional when meeting her and catered for everything we'd asked for. Dexter instantly befriended her and was a happy contented boy when arrived home. We would highly recommend Katherine, and will request her again. 😊”

About: With over 20 years of experience caring for animals, I understand that cats need more than just food and a clean litter box—they need calm, gentle handling and someone who truly “gets” their unique personalities. I’ve looked after cats of all ages, from playful kittens to senior cats needing medication and a little extra TLC. Whether your feline friend is outgoing or prefers quiet company, I’ll respect their space, keep them comfortable, and ensure they feel safe and cared for while you’re away. I’m confident with feeding routines, grooming, administering meds, and, of course, giving plenty of chin scratches (if they’re into that!).
“Leila was the best with my cats! My partner and I traveled back to the US and were so nervous to leave our cat and new kitten alone for a week, but they were in great hands. We got so many photo updates, which we loved, and Leila had no issue taking care of the less-fun aspects of having energetic cats (cleaning up a broken coaster, etc.). So grateful to have had her stopping by over the holidays and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Alicia and her partner George were very kind to our cat Chloe. They looked after her very well, providing daily updates and photos, and we could see when we returned that Chloe had bonded with them, which was wonderful. We would definitely recommend Alicia and will book with her again.”

About: I’ve grown up with all sorts of pets from dogs to mice. Dogs are my favourite but I love all animals and have looked after family cats whilst they’ve been away. I work from home during the week so can be flexible and I also have availability at the weekends or in the evenings as well. Happy to follow any instructions, big or small, to offer owners peace of mind that your pets will be well looked after in your absence.

About: I've been around cats my entire life. I've rescued kittens and many cats have adopted me when they had nowhere else to go. I feel like I truly understand the needs of these enigmatic creatures. Our last cat was rescued from a shelter as a tiny, weeks old kitten, and lived a pampered life with us for over 17 years. She and my daughter were inseparable and we were devastated when she passed away.

“Shelley took great care for Twix and she kept all her communication perfect. I will definitely repeat Twix boarding if she is available next time as well. She has a lovely dog and he get along very well with my dog. Thank you so much Shelley 🙏🙏”

“Fabulous! Margarita looked after our 16 month old English Setterpoo, Elsie, for the whole day whilst we had a day out in London. She sent us regular messages, photos & videos throughout the day to reassure us that Elsie was fine - even enjoying an off-lead play in the park on what was a foul day weather wise! We returned to find a very calm and happy pup. I think the fact that Margarita and her husband are both so calm and confident around dogs definitely rubbed off on Elsie and quickly resolved any anxiety she might have had around being away from us. Will definitely book Margarita again. Thank you!”

About: Dogs have always been part of our life, starting with our family Pomeranian. I then inherited two Jack russels which gave birth to my little willow ☺️, and now here we are! We are countryside bums through and through .. horses, muddy boots, and a home that naturally revolves around animals. We joined Rover because we genuinely love caring for dogs (and because it stops me andopting another one… 😅). Every dog is treated like part of the household, so they feel right at home. We do things the right way here, and are fully licensed (26/00059/AWAAL), fully insured and a dog ruled home 🏡 I work from home every day, so dogs are never left alone. My routine is totally flexible and shaped around your dog 🌳. Our home has a large 160ft garden with brand new 6ft secure fencing, and we can collect and drop off in my (very loved) dedicated doggy car (the dogs seem to think she's fabulous) 😂🐾 Expect a happy dog, regular updates, and knowledgable hosts! Pet care fits into my daily life because it is my daily life 🐶 I work from home every day, so dogs are never left alone and are part of normal routines. Days are flexible and dog-led with garden time, walks, play, naps, and lots of company 🌳🐾 Basically, the dogs set the schedule and I just follow it 😅 Each stay is tailored to the individual dog staying with us ...Care is calm, consistent, and focused on making dogs feel safe, settled, and at home.
“Ivaylo is clearly a dog loving person and Nani seemed immediately at home. He was absolutely amazing and took such great care of her. He kept me up to date with pictures and video. I will definitely use him again!”

“Biscoff absolutely loves Emma and ruby! He's always excited when he hears their name . Emma takes such good care of him, giving him lots of fuss, walks, treats and play time. She also sends little updates through out the day so we know biscoff is having lots of fun with his friends.”

“Leanne looked after our young pup for two days while I worked long shifts, and she was great. Our pup was excited to see her each day, and it was clear he felt comfortable in her home. She made sure he was well fed and taken care of, and he came home tired and happy—he slept soundly after what I can only imagine were very active, fun filled days. I really appreciate the care and attention she gave him. Highly recommend!”

“Ella has always been very attentive, since the first contact. We received photos, she informed us about how Bayle was doing. In other words, excelente communication and very professional. We could see that she really loves what she does. I really recommended her services and as soon as I need again, for sure I will leave Bayle with Ella, she is extremely reliable.”

“Would highly recommend Lauren! She was brilliant at making sure I was updated throughout the day, and looked after our boy with such care. Couldn’t be happier with the service she delivered.”

About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs and cats all my life and have cared for them for over 30 years. I’ve shared my home with German Shepherds, beagles and cats, and truly understand how much love and attention they need — especially when you’re away. I’m a certified Small Animal Hydrotherapist, currently studying L6 Veterinary Physiotherapy. I’ve also completed animal first aid, behaviour, and nutrition training. I’m DBS checked and committed to offering safe, loving care for your pets in their familiar environment. I’m currently working part-time and studying veterinary physiotherapy, which means I have a flexible schedule to provide dedicated care. I’m available most weekdays and weekends for pet sitting and visits in RG22 and nearby areas. I’m DBS-checked, fully and trained in pet first aid. I never wear branded clothing or drive marked vehicles, so I won’t draw attention to your empty home. Your pet’s wellbeing, routine and comfort are always my top priority — whether that’s keeping their litter tray sparkling clean or giving them enrichment and puzzle time.
“Emma was fantastic! We had to change days around and Emma was very receptive and adaptable to our requests as well as providing excellent communication all round. Emma gave great feedback and photos from the walk and we will continue to use Emma!”

About: Over 10 years of experience caring for animals and have had cats for most of my life. I currently have two cats of my own and previously had three, so I completely understand how important pets are as part of the family. I’m regularly recommended by family members to help care for their cats, including feeding, setting up automatic feeders, cleaning litter trays, and giving them plenty of love and attention. I’m experienced with cats of all ages, from playful kittens to elderly cats who need extra patience and care. I’m confident handling day-to-day pet care, administering lots of cuddles, and even dealing with the occasional mouse or bird adventure! I genuinely love animals and always make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. Pet care fits easily into my routine alongside my full-time job, as I work flexible shifts. Some days I finish early at 3:30pm, while later shifts start at 1:30pm, giving me availability before or after work. I also have regular days off and one weekend off each month, allowing extra flexibility for pet care. I care for pets by making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved while keeping to their usual routine. My two boy cats are fed twice a day and always get a treat before bed. They are outdoor cats, and we keep a window open year-round for them. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I will always follow their instructions carefully to ensure their fur babies stay happy, safe, and well cared for.
“Jess is sensational! She always goes above and beyond to help with my boy and my mishaps (taking the key to work with me!) Oggy is obsessed with Jess and adores his time with her. Couldn't recommend Jess enough for any pet services. Thanks Jess :)”

About: Raising and training a black lab in London and Hampshire. I have lots of experience with my own , as well as looking after friend’s puppies and dogs. I am on a hybrid work schedule meaning some days I am in London and other days I work from home and am available during the day for pet care. I would just need appropriate notice to ensure it fits my work schedule. I am available evenings and weekends. Happy to work to your schedule and routine. I crate train my own dog and am working on training her to be a working gun dog , so a lot of work has gone into her training, but I am happy to follow the client’s lead with how they would like their dog to be cared for. My dog is incredibly friendly and loves socialising with all dogs , but can be separated if yours needs space .
About: My wife Livia and I have had dogs for our whole life, ever since we were kids. I am always any new dogs best friend and Livia understands them to such a deep level. We both love dogs and treat them as a member of the family. Our old dog Bailey (11) is also co-parent to our two kids (8 and 5) and they have grown up with a love for animals. Together we all love going on adventures! We feel absolutely confident we can help look after your furry friends. Honestly, we would want your dog to have a nice time with us and help you feel that they are being looked after as they should be. We both work part time from home so there is always someone in the house and around. The kids will be in school during school times so around most of the time. We already have our dog so we don't go on long trips without him and wouldn't anyway when looking after other animals. In our home, it would very much depend on what your dog(s) need. We are pretty adaptable and can move things around to suit. We have a routine of sorts with our dog Bailey around feeding and walking but some things are more flexible. Our house has some green areas around as I like to get some off lead time with Bailey when we go on walks - this can all be discussed. Bailey has his bed and you can obviously bring your dogs bed. The bed is somewhere that a dog can go if they want peace and quiet which will be respected. Obviously there are a million and other things that you may want to know! I am very happy for any questions.
About: I grew up with a big, silly Irish Red Setter who was truly part of the family. He set the bar for how fun, gentle and full of personality dogs can be and we still laugh about his antics today. In recent years I’ve looked after friends’ and family’s dogs while they’ve been away, making sure they’re fed, walked, played with and properly cared for. I absolutely love going on long walks, so having a four-legged pal to join me is always a joy. I’m a naturally caring person and I’ll make sure your dog feels safe, happy and like they’re having their own little holiday too.

I am a 5th year medical student in my professional life and before deciding to branch into medicine I had 3 weeks of work experience in various veterinary practices - including Willows and Hollybank. I am also currently undergoing a canine first aid course. My pets I have had my dog Henry (golden retriever x labrador) since he was 8 weeks old so I understand the constant supervision required with puppies, having been through it myself! Henry is now 3 years old and an absolute joy. He lived with me in London while he was a puppy but now lives in my family home in Cheshire as I am not allowed to have him in student accommodation. I am familiar with looking after many types of animal. I have owned cats since I was 8 years old and understand each cat has different needs, personalities and eating preferences, with some being more shy than others. For instance, last year I looked after a very shy cat who only comes out into the open with its owners, and with a gentle and quiet approach I managed to gain the cat's trust and even managed to play with it! In my family home we have 2 rabbits which are 10 years old and live in a spacious environment and get fed lots of hay! I understand rabbits' needs very well, and used to have a blog on rabbit care - I am also familiar with RWAF's campaign 'A Hutch is not enough' and understand rabbits' needs for a social companion and a spacious environment to run and play in. Questions Please feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you like, I appreciate it can be scary leaving your pet with a petsitter for the first time. Please feel free to contact me if you are unsure about my rates as these can be adjusted depending on the length of service - ie. If you only need me for the evening and not overnight I can reduce rates for you. Please see the ‘safety, trust and environment’ section for more information about my approach to pet sitting. I am available evenings / overnight but have clinical placement in the day Monday -Friday except Wednesday afternoon. I am available all day and night on the weekends. Dogs I am very comfortable looking after dogs of all sizes and I'm familiar with positive-reinforcement training techniques so I'm happy to continue any ongoing training with your dog. When I am house-sitting, I like to take dogs out for at least 2 walks a day, and depending on the dog's needs and recall ability I endeavour to take them to local dog parks for a run-around and play. I regularly ensure water bowls are topped up, especially in hot weather, and will work alongside the owner to maintain a desired feeding/treat schedule depending on your preferences. In the house, I like to play tug, fetch and enrichment games with dogs to keep them occupied, and of course lots of love and cuddles if the dog prefers it! I offer house sitting, drop-in sessions and dog walking. Cats Like with dogs, cats come with all sorts of different personalities! I believe cats require a more gentle and subdued approach than with most dogs (unless the dog is nervous), allowing them to come up to you in their own time rather than approaching them. I offer drop-in sessions and overnight sitting. Rabbits I understand a rabbit's physiological need to be constantly eating, which is why I will always ensure they have more than enough hay to eat. I will feed your rabbit, top up their water and offer them company, letting them out of their hutch into a secure area to run around if necessary. I offer drop-in sessions and overnight sitting.

“I used James’ services for an overnight stay for my border collie for the first time. Holly took an immediate liking to James, his family and his dog Bailey. She had such an amazing time at James’ house and I got regular updates on how she’s doing. Really happy with the care - would truly recommend.”

“Ella has been a great doggy sitter for our Dexter. She sent us pupdates all the time. It truly was a home from home for him. Thank you Ella for looking after Dexter so well.”

“We had an excellent experience with Tara and her lovely family. A big THANK YOU to her and her family. They are warm, welcoming, and clearly genuine dog lovers. Our dog was so comfortable and well cared for, and the regular updates and photos were very reassuring. They extended their help and support during Christmas and treated Benji like their own, it meant so much. I could relax knowing he was in such a kind and loving household. We would absolutely recommend them without hesitation.”

“Sam and Rob looked after our dog Ginny and were fantastic from the start. We did a meet and greet and it was clear Ginny felt comfortable with them both and it made it so much easier to leave her. We received lots of updates on Ginny’s adventures and it gave us peace of mind that she was being well looked after and was really enjoying herself. We will definitely be booking with Sam and Rob again and we wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them.”
