About: All my life I have had dogs and cats and I would not have it any other way. A home is not a home unless it has pets. They bring so much joy, love and they are all so unique. I currently have a Labrador (Roxy) who is super friendly and 2 cats. We can tailor the walk to your dog's need, long or short, it can either be where there are lots of others dogs if that's what your dog likes or it can be a much quieter walk in the countryside. Your pet’s well-being, safety, and daily routine are my highest priorities, and I’m always happy to follow any specific care instructions you share.I can do short or long house sitting stay. As I have cats I can not offer to have your pet in my house overnight but I can offer short stays in the day. I am fully insured and will shortly be taking on a pet's first aid course. I can be available every week day and weekend with plenty of notice. I will on occasion be doing the walks with my dog providing yours is happy with that. She is super friendly. My pets get the best care. They get fed as soon as I get up and that is before I make myself a cuppa. My dog gets at least 2 hours walk everyday and loves playing with her ball. As we have cats I can not offer overnight stay at my house but I can accomodate short stays in the day.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started with my childhood cat, Doodles. Every evening she'd curl up on my chest, and this has always been one of my favourite childhood memories. When I was around 10, we welcomed our family dog Bramble into our lives. Later, she developed a health condition that meant she needed daily medication and extra care. Helping to give her medication, changing her bedding every morning and evening, and making sure she was comfortable taught me how important patience, and compassion are when caring for pets with additional needs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for pets belonging to family, friends, and colleagues. This has included overnight house sits with cats, looking after my uncle's Westie, Freddie, in his own home, and welcoming my boyfriend's family dog into my home while they were away. My love for animals extends beyond cats and dogs. While travelling around South East Asia, I volunteered and donated at an animal shelter in Koh Samui, made a point of visiting only ethical elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai where the elephants aren't ridden or touched, and even met the incredible landmine detection rats in Cambodia. Those experiences strengthened my passion for animal welfare and my respect for every animal, big or small. My schedule is changing soon, which means I'll have even more time to spend caring for pets! In just a couple of weeks, I'll be working part-time, giving me plenty of flexibility during the week. I'll be available on multiple weekdays for daytime walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I'm also available for boarding throughout the week. Thursdays are my one regular day working away from home, so if your pet is staying with me on a Thursday, I'll be out during the day but back by the late afternoon or evening (depending on my shift). Outside of that, I'll have lots of time at home to keep your pet company, making sure they get plenty of attention. I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and see how I can make my schedule work for you and pet. I know that inviting someone into your home requires a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Because of my job, I regularly travel and stay in Airbnbs during the week, so I'm very used to treating other people's homes with care and respect. I always follow check-out instructions carefully, and I'd bring that same attention to detail to your home—whether that's sticking to your pet's routine, locking up securely, or following any house rules you've left for me. Growing up with both a cat and a dog who weren't always the best of friends also means I'm very familiar with using pet gates, managing different areas of the house, and being mindful not to leave anything lying around that pets could get into. I'll always leave your home clean and tidy, exactly as I'd hope someone would leave mine. And because I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, I'm more than happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing they're happy and safe.
About: I've had a dog all my life, small ones medium ones, I love them. Dogs always seem to love me too. I hope I have the pleasure of looking after your beautiful pups. I work full time on shift work, so I'm available everyday of the week but on different days and times every week, I will always be able to fit you in no problem I live in a house right next to some fields and rivers, lovely walks, while at home I will care for them as you would want me to. Whatever the case
“Victoria was great, she dropped in to feed our dog & cat, & walk our dog, whilst we were away for a couple of days. She was very caring, & sent us updates & pictures each time she visited. She also helped us by filling in with an extra visit as we were going to late returning.”

“Arran and Iona will be happy to see Khaley again - 2 very happy and relaxed mogs, more pictures than we can shake a stick at, and thanks so much for the other little touches! Khaley’s excellent!”

“Excellent service. It was last minute and Toni was able to assist. She sent photos and an update on Winnie and also collected some parcels left out back. We will definitely use her again.”

“It was a pleasure to meet Emily, who came for a meet and greet ahead of the drop-in visits. Emily provided me with just the right amount of feedback whilst I was away, a couple of photos, a comment on my cat's general well-being and her behaviour on arrival, and confirmation on various matters which we had discussed beforehand eg when to give medication for arthritis, arrangements regarding the key. I would definitely book Emily again.”
“Imogen did a fantastic job looking after Charlie for the weekend! She was very caring and attentive, sending updates and pictures after each check in. She also kept the house lovely and tidy for when I returned. Highly recommend!!”

“Elysia is fantastic and I could not recommend her enough. From the first meeting she was professional and lovely. She did a home visit to check in on our cat while we were away and she provided a detailed report of what she did, what our cat ate and how much and how they played, with pictures. We will certainly be asking Elysia to check in on our cat the next time we are away.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with several years of hands-on experience caring for pets. I currently have two dogs, including a puppy, which has given me valuable experience with puppy training, routines, socialisation, and the extra patience and consistency that young dogs need. Over the past year, I’ve had the pleasure of caring for a wide variety of pets through Rover, as well as for friends and family. From tiny Chihuahuas to energetic Staffies, older dogs needing a gentler pace, and households with multiple pets, every booking has helped me build my knowledge and confidence. I’m proud to have received excellent reviews for my reliable, friendly, and caring approach. Sadly, I lost my beloved 16-year-old cat in July 2026, who had been part of my family for many years. That experience has only strengthened my understanding of how much our pets mean to us and how important it is to leave them with someone you can genuinely trust. I’m currently looking for a new full-time career, which means I have much greater flexibility for bookings and can often accommodate daytime care, longer stays, and last-minute requests. Animals genuinely bring me joy, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My priority is always to make sure they feel safe, happy, comfortable, and loved while you’re away, giving you complete peace of mind. I work full-time Monday to Friday in Basingstoke and live in Newbury, with occasional days in Reading, so I can cover a wide area for pet care. I’m mainly available for weekend stays and evening visits during the week for feeding, playtime, and cuddles. For weekday stays, I’m out between 8:30 AM and 6:30 PM (dependant on the location) but your pets will always get plenty of love before and after! I also offer dog walks in the Basingstoke area on weekdays, as that’s where I work (9:30–5:30). I do my best to follow each pet’s routine and keep things as comfortable and consistent as possible! Your pets safety will always be my top priority. At home, my own cat is kept safe with a magnetic tag cat flap that only opens for her, and our garden is fully fenced to prevent any escapes. After discovering gap under the bush where animals could slip through to the neighbours, we quickly secured it with chicken wire - problem solved! I believe in creating a calm and secure environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for. I follow consistent routines, maintain a healthy diet for my own pets, and always use positive reinforcement - praise and the occasional treat - for good behaviour. You can trust that your furry friend will be in a safe and loving space while you are away.

About: I have had my own dog for 11 years, he’s now an elderly gentleman! As a household we love animals and look forward to looking after your pets, I will be looking after them as their primary carer. . I have also had cats for 15 years, currently just one beauty. I’m here to look after your furry guests and help them settle in. I always do two good walks a day with our own dog or a trip to the park. On top of this we do two toilet breaks if needed. As the garden is not currently secure, I don’t use this for dogs. Dogs sleep in the kitchen which has rubber flooring at the moment, no caging unless requested. Our dog is older so can be a bit lazy and needs his rest, we have plenty of room for dogs to have their own space if needed, but he generally likes company. I am a cat lover and happy to provide drop in cat care, feeding, litter and cuddles.

“Jodie was excellent looking after our 4 cats and rabbit. She came round to meet them all first of all to find out about each of the them and what each cat needed. Once we were away, Jodie sent daily updates and was so helpful with any questions we had. Came home to very happy cats and rabbit! ”
