Martine was amazing with my dog Bloom! You could tell straight away that Bloom was happy to be with her. Martine is super natural with dogs and made me feel really comfortable leaving her with her. It was also really nice seeing how great she was with her own Labrador, both dogs looked so happy and got on really well. Honestly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Would 100% book with Martine again!

About: Having been raised on a small holding in rural South Wales, I have never known life without pets. I am a very compassionate and understanding animal lover who enjoys working with all species of animals, with most experience with dogs, cats, horses, farm birds, and small animals. I have my own gorgeous rescue cat, who is the perfect sassy yet protective companion. Over the past few years, in addition to caring for my own cat and animals at the family home, I have enjoyed supporting neighbours, family friends, and customers from this and other pet care sites, with their pet care needs. This includes, walking pets, drop-in walking dogs and helping with day and overnight pet-sitting for neighbours and family friends. I am a trustworthy, reliable, hard-working, and patient person with a passion to learn and care. Finally, a little about me, with a background in Psychology, Special Education and Mental Health, I currently work for the Local Authority as an Assistant Educational Psychologist. I look forward to hearing from you and fulfilling your pet-caring needs with a smile guaranteed I am currently working full-time, yet spend most days working from home. This makes my time very flexible to fit to your pet care needs. My weekly diary is rather adjustable and with prior notice I am able to make time at any time of day for your requirements. I am able to ensure the safety of your pet regardless of your pet care needs. When settling my own cat into her new environment it was essential for us to take the time to ensure her trust in addition to the security of her environment. We also had to take great care when moving around our home and in/out of the home. I ensure this knowledge is part of my pet care practice, and guarantee the safety and care for your pet.

About: I’ve always had a genuine love for animals. I grew up around dogs and have regularly helped friends and family with caring for their pets, including walks, feeding, companionship, and overnight care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and house sitting, and I understand how important it is for pet owners to know their animals are safe, happy, and well cared for while they’re away. I’m reliable, patient, attentive, and comfortable around both dogs and cats of different personalities and energy levels. I take the time to help pets feel relaxed and comfortable, and I’m very attentive to each pet’s routine, needs, and any instructions provided so they can stay happy and settled in their usual environment. I currently don’t have pets of my own due to previously working full time, which means I can now dedicate my attention and care to the pets I look after. Whether your dog loves long walks and playtime or prefers calm company and cuddles, I’ll make sure they receive plenty of care, affection, and attention. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates, so you can feel reassured and connected to your pet while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet! My availability is currently flexible, which allows me to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the pets I care for. I’m available for dog walking, drop-in visits, daycare, and house sitting throughout the week and on weekends. I understand how important consistency and reliability are for both pets and owners, and I always aim to be responsive, dependable, and accommodating wherever possible. I’m happy to discuss your pet’s routine and scheduling needs to find what works best for you. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and wellbeing will always be my priority. I understand that every pet has their own routine, personality, and needs, so I always take the time to carefully follow any instructions provided regarding feeding, walks, medication, exercise, and home routines. I aim to create a calm, safe, and reassuring environment where pets feel comfortable and cared for, whether in their own home or during walks and visits. I’m attentive, responsible, and respectful of both pets and owners’ homes, and I’m happy to provide regular photo and video updates for extra peace of mind while you’re away.

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started with my childhood cat, Doodles. Every evening she'd curl up on my chest, and this has always been one of my favourite childhood memories. When I was around 10, we welcomed our family dog Bramble into our lives. Later, she developed a health condition that meant she needed daily medication and extra care. Helping to give her medication, changing her bedding every morning and evening, and making sure she was comfortable taught me how important patience, and compassion are when caring for pets with additional needs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for pets belonging to family, friends, and colleagues. This has included overnight house sits with cats, looking after my uncle's Westie, Freddie, in his own home, and welcoming my boyfriend's family dog into my home while they were away. My love for animals extends beyond cats and dogs. While travelling around South East Asia, I volunteered and donated at an animal shelter in Koh Samui, made a point of visiting only ethical elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai where the elephants aren't ridden or touched, and even met the incredible landmine detection rats in Cambodia. Those experiences strengthened my passion for animal welfare and my respect for every animal, big or small. My schedule is changing soon, which means I'll have even more time to spend caring for pets! In just a couple of weeks, I'll be working part-time, giving me plenty of flexibility during the week. I'll be available on multiple weekdays for daytime walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I'm also available for boarding throughout the week. Thursdays are my one regular day working away from home, so if your pet is staying with me on a Thursday, I'll be out during the day but back by the late afternoon or evening (depending on my shift). Outside of that, I'll have lots of time at home to keep your pet company, making sure they get plenty of attention. I'm always happy to discuss your pet's routine and see how I can make my schedule work for you and pet. I know that inviting someone into your home requires a lot of trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. Because of my job, I regularly travel and stay in Airbnbs during the week, so I'm very used to treating other people's homes with care and respect. I always follow check-out instructions carefully, and I'd bring that same attention to detail to your home—whether that's sticking to your pet's routine, locking up securely, or following any house rules you've left for me. Growing up with both a cat and a dog who weren't always the best of friends also means I'm very familiar with using pet gates, managing different areas of the house, and being mindful not to leave anything lying around that pets could get into. I'll always leave your home clean and tidy, exactly as I'd hope someone would leave mine. And because I know how hard it can be to be away from your pets, I'm more than happy to send regular photo and video updates, so you can relax knowing they're happy and safe.

About: I have had a dog since childhood, which has given me over 30 years of hands, on experience caring for pets. Over the years, I have also helped friends, family, and neighbors with their dogs, taking care of walks, feeding, and giving them the attention they need. I am patient and caring with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra support. I believe every pet has a unique personality, and I always make sure to respect their individual needs and routines. As a stay-at-home mom and therapist, I work mainly from home with occasional online sessions. This gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your dog throughout the day. I can provide walks, playtime, and lots of attention to make sure your pup feels happy and safe. I live with my husband and two kids (ages 11 and 17), and we are all animal lovers. We have a secure fenced yard both in the front and back of the house, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I also have a pug friendly at home who love company, and I can crate your dog if needed for safety or comfort.

I wasn't actually at home while Kate walked my dogs but I received all the text alerts and follow-up notes bang on time and was reassured that all was well. My house- and dog-sitter also sent me very favourable comments and the dogs seemed very happy to see her. Kate was walking the boys during the period of the intense heatwave and was due to take them out at 5.30 each day but very kindly came out during the evening instead, between 7 and 8pm, so that they weren't subject to the heat.

About: I’ve been looking after dogs since I was 14 years old, caring for friends’, family’s and neighbours’ dogs on a regular basis. My experience includes daily walks, feeding, bathing, playtime, and providing lots of attention and companionship. At the beginning of 2025, I travelled to Australia where I looked after multiple dogs through house sits, giving me experience caring for dogs in different environments and routines. I’m a very outdoorsy person, so dogs in my care will enjoy varied walks through parks, trails and green spaces rather than the same route every day. I’m happy to adapt to each dog’s needs, whether that’s long energetic walks for active dogs or slower and gentler walks for older or less mobile dogs. My priority is always making sure each dog feels safe, comfortable and well cared for. I’m currently working as a freelance photographer, which gives me a very flexible schedule. Pet care fits easily into my daily routine, and I’m often out walking anyway, so I’m looking for some furry friends to join me on my walks in my spare time. This flexibility means I can accommodate different times and adapt to each dog’s routine. Whether that’s regular daily walks or occasional care. With my background in photography, owners can expect regular photo and message updates so you can see how your pet is getting on and feel confident they’re happy and well cared for while you’re away. I always prioritise a pet’s safety, comfort and routine whether I’m caring for them in my own home or in the owner’s home. I follow all instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, walking preferences and any specific needs or behaviours. I make sure dogs are walked safely, kept on leads where required, and given plenty of attention and reassurance.

Steph is absolutely brilliant with Juno, our Chocolate Labrador. She was happy to come round and meet us all before taking Juno out properly for the first time, and was really patient as Juno got used to the change in her routine. Steph was also excellent at taking on board our specific instructions, and left detailed comments and photos after every walk. We would definitely recommend Steph, and would be happy to book her again.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs for over 5 years, and animals have always been a big part of my life. Growing up, my mum was a pet sitter, so I was always surrounded by pets and learned from an early age how important it is to give animals patient and attentive care. I now live on a small farm in Newbury and love spending time outdoors with animals. I offer dog walking and drop-in visits for both dogs and cats, helping pets stay comfortable and well cared for while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own routine and personality, so I always take the time to make them feel relaxed and happy. Whether it’s walks, feeding, playtime or simply keeping them company, I make sure they receive plenty of attention and care. I’m also happy to send updates and photos so you can feel reassured while you’re away. Pet care is my full-time work, so my daily routine is built around dog walks and pet visits. This allows me to be flexible and make sure each pet receives plenty of attention, exercise and care. I plan my schedule carefully so every visit or walk is relaxed and unhurried. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I always make sure to follow their usual routine as closely as possible so pets feel comfortable and relaxed. During drop-in visits I can feed pets, refresh water, clean litter trays if needed, provide playtime and make sure they get plenty of attention and companionship. For dog walks, I prioritise safe and enjoyable walks, keeping dogs securely on their lead unless instructed otherwise and avoiding busy or unsafe areas where possible. I always make sure dogs are returned home safely, with fresh water and settled before I leave. I treat every home with respect and care, keeping things tidy and making sure doors, gates and locks are secure. I also send updates and photos so owners can feel reassured that their pets are happy and well looked after.
