Pernille communicated consistently during his stay, sent photos and was happy to have an initial video call to show us the house and make sure it was okay for our elderly large dog. As I have cats I can not offer to have your pet in my house overnight but I can offer short stays in the day. I am fully insured and will shortly be taking on a pet's first aid course. I can be available every week day and weekend with plenty of notice. I will on occasion be doing the walks with my dog providing yours is happy with that. She is super friendly. My pets get the best care. They get fed as soon as I get up and that is before I make myself a cuppa. My dog gets at least 2 hours walk everyday and loves playing with her ball. As we have cats I can not offer overnight stay at my house but I can accomodate short stays in the day.
“I don't know how to describe how brilliant Toni was sitting for our dog whilst we were away on holiday. Unfortunately the dog fell ill on the day we left for holidays and Toni really looked after her, including sleeping downstairs to keep a check on the dog's condition. The dog needed to go to the vets and Toni sorted that out too. We got constant updates on the dog's recovery (including photos) and it enabled us to have peace of mind knowing that she was in excellent hands. I can't praise Toni enough for the care she gave to our pet and the fact that she saved our holiday. Wonderful, simply wonderful.”

About: Having a dog myself, I understand how important it is the find a safe, loving home away from home to make them happy when I’m away. I’ve used this app for years and having just moved into a larger house with big enclosed garden I thought it’s time to offer the same (and my dog love extra company for playtime!). I work from home on a full time basis and generally walk my dog for an hour over lunch. She sits behind me snuggled against the Aga or playing fetch on the lawn. About: Growing up on farm I have always been surrounded by a wide variety of animals, with dogs always playing a huge part in my life. Walking, feeding, bathing, playing…we got it covered! I have a gorgeous black Lab, Bob, who loves the company of other dogs and will be best friends with your pup! I work from home so I am around all day. About: I am patient and happy to look after all animals and also if you have more than one pet. I currently have 2 house rabbits but have also looked after dogs in the past for family. I am well organised and happy to adapt to your pets needs and give them the best care. I have looked after a disabled rabbit and happy to give medication to rabbits if needed. If there are any issues with your pet i will contact you straight away and get them to a vet. I am happy to take in any post/parcels and water plants for you. When walking dogs i will keep on lead so they are safe and go any distance required , i enjoy long walks, i will follow any instructions you give such as needing to walk in quiet areas if nervous etc. I can update you with photos and message you to let you know they are ok. I am available week days from 5am to 7 am and any time after 3:30pm and all day weekends . I am happy to do home visits or take your dog's on walks. I will make sure i keep to your pets schedule as i understand how important routine is for animals . I am happy to look after pets in your home and will ensure they have plenty of attention as well as feeding ,cleaning and giving them water. I will take in any post/parcels,water plants, open and close blinds and clean up the pet area too. I currently have 2 free roam house rabbits, i have also looked after disabled rabbits too and comfortable giving them medication and know to look out for GI stasis in rabbits too, having experienced it first hand with my rabbits i know how quickly you need to act. If you pet needs to be taken to the vet i will take them straight away and call you. I will send you photos and let you know how your pet is getting on. Their care is my greatest priority.

About: Hello I have grown up with dogs my whole life and have been dog sitting for friends for about 6 years before joining rover. I am mostly at home after 12pm but on weekends I am at home all day, I will able to manage pet care and tasks like feeding and playing around. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. Living with Border Collies as a child and then rehoming my first border collie of my own, Bobby, from Battersea Dogs Home. I now have an Australian Shepherd called Bruce and we love our long walks together twice a day. I have helped out close family and friends with their dogs in my own home over the years and I have a large back garden to play My days involve a long morning walk around 8am and then again later afternoon which tends to be a bit shorter. I live near a park, wooded areas and a river so we have lots of different routes to choose I have a big fenced back garden which is led into through 2 gates so very secure. Dogs can roam free. My living room leads straight out into a conservatory which then goes straight into the garden. My dog has full access to all downstairs and upstairs throughout the day. Of course he’s allowed on the bed!

About: I've taken care of a wide range of dog breeds, particularly experienced in working breeds, reactive dogs and also lap dogs or small breeds, with years of work and qualifications in walking, sitting and dog training. In 2021 I started my own dog walking business which has been expanding ever since and in 2022 I received qualifications in Dog Emotion & Cognition and worked in a doggy daycare and training centre where I shadowed a professional dog trainer and honed my skills in training. I own, raised and trained my own Malinois, another Malinois as well before my current, previously owning Springer Spaniels and Border Collies, and trained with leash-reactive dogs using positive reinforcement and redirection to correct unwanted behaviours. But dogs aren't all I've worked with! I'm an equestrian with years of experience competing in show jumping, cross country and eventing as well as working on a yard. This included mucking out, riding and lunging, grooming, feeding and leading in lessons. On the smaller side, I own two cats and have grown up with cats ranging from kittens to seniors who require medication and special care. I'm a fond advocate for cat nutrition and enrichment as cats deserve as good a treatment as our dog companions do! I’m a reliable and caring stay-at-home mum offering dog sitting and pet care in a calm, loving home 🐾 I live in a spacious flat with plenty of room for your pet to relax, and I’m just a five-minute walk from a large park, perfect for regular walks, playtime, and fresh air. Being at home full-time means I can give pets lots of attention and supervision, and I’m also happy to accommodate last-minute bookings when needed. I have a gentle, calm two-year-old who is used to being around animals and very respectful of them. Because of this, I’m best suited to pets who are comfortable around small children. About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. My love for them started with my childhood cat, Doodles. Every evening she'd curl up on my chest, and this has always been one of my favourite childhood memories. When I was around 10, we welcomed our family dog Bramble into our lives. Later, she developed a health condition that meant she needed daily medication and extra care. Helping to give her medication, changing her bedding every morning and evening, and making sure she was comfortable taught me how important patience, and compassion are when caring for pets with additional needs. Since then, I've been lucky enough to care for pets belonging to family, friends, and colleagues. This has included overnight house sits with cats, looking after my uncle's Westie, Freddie, in his own home, and welcoming my boyfriend's family dog into my home while they were away. My love for animals extends beyond cats and dogs. While travelling around South East Asia, I volunteered and donated at an animal shelter in Koh Samui, made a point of visiting only ethical elephant sanctuaries in Chiang Mai where the elephants aren't ridden or touched, and even met the incredible landmine detection rats in Cambodia. Those experiences strengthened my passion for animal welfare and my respect for every animal, big or small. My schedule is changing soon, which means I'll have even more time to spend caring for pets! In just a couple of weeks, I'll be working part-time, giving me plenty of flexibility during the week. I'll be available on multiple weekdays for daytime walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. I'm also available for boarding throughout the week. Thursdays are my one regular day working away from home, so if your pet is staying with me on a Thursday, I'll be out during the day but back by the late afternoon or evening (depending on my shift). My dog, Bella, was a very nervous rescue and is now doing absolutely brilliantly, so I’ve learnt a lot about helping anxious dogs in the last few years. Bella does not come with me when I do house sits, she has another at home who takes care of her. I’ve got lots of experience walking and handling dogs of all shapes and sizes. I’ve worked with puppies, senior dogs and large breeds and also those who require special attention and need medication. About: Hello I’m Kora! I have been with rover for 2 years now. I have been around animals since a very young age and have been fortunate enough to have grown up with a variety of pets over the years, such as Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, Guinea pigs, Hamsters, and exotic species like African Land Snails and a Herman Tortoise. I have a level 3 diploma in animal management after 2 years studying at college, allowing me hands on experience with a range of different species and breeds. Along with this I volunteered at an equestrian centre as well as dog kennels where I would feed, clean, walk, train and spend time with all breeds of a variety of different ages. Additionally I completed work experience at a local vets where I assisted in the aftercare with cats and dogs following their procedures and treatments. About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life. Living with Border Collies as a child and then rehoming my first border collie of my own, Bobby, from Battersea Dogs Home. I now have an Australian Shepherd called Bruce and we love our long walks together twice a day. I have helped out close family and friends with their dogs in my own home over the years and I have a large back garden to play My days involve a long morning walk around 8am and then again later afternoon which tends to be a bit shorter. I live near a park, wooded areas and a river so we have lots of different routes to choose I have a big fenced back garden which is led into through 2 gates so very secure. Dogs can roam free. My living room leads straight out into a conservatory which then goes straight into the garden. My dog has full access to all downstairs and upstairs throughout the day. Of course he’s allowed on the bed!
