First time bookings receive a discount use the code below: https://www.rover.com/sit/lydiae74216 As a full-time house and pet sitter, your animals are my top priority. While I do have a few pre-scheduled dog walks and drop-in visits for local clients during the day, I strictly manage my calendar to ensure your animals' specific routines, feeding times, and companionship needs are fully met and never compromised. I only offer care in your home, I always think pets like to stay in their own environment. I am completely honest and trustworthy and have many happy clients ready to give referrals.
About: As well as owning my own two dogs for seven years, for three years aboard, I worked in local dog pounds. I have helped care for and trained numerous different dogs. I have trained them with the basics such as sit, wait, and down, I have also helped them with anxiety issues, social issues, and learning to trust humans again. During this time, I also fostered 10+ dogs, from tiny puppies to dogs that were 5 or 6 years old, with health issues. I thoroughly enjoyed my time spending time with these dogs, nurturing them and showing them what a loving environment is about. I currently work part time and am able to fit in pet visits and walking Mon - Fri 9.30 -14.30 dog walking. I am also available every other weekend as well. I can easily crate your dog if they have anxiety issues and require a safe space. I am respectful of a dog / cat in their home environment and any rules you have for your home I will adhere to and respect. If you require muddy paws wiped before entry, a groom before bed, biscuits laid out before I leave them please let me know.
About: I have had a dog since childhood, which has given me over 30 years of hands, on experience caring for pets. Over the years, I have also helped friends, family, and neighbors with their dogs, taking care of walks, feeding, and giving them the attention they need. I am patient and caring with both energetic puppies and older dogs who may need extra support. I believe every pet has a unique personality, and I always make sure to respect their individual needs and routines. As a stay-at-home mom and therapist, I work mainly from home with occasional online sessions. This gives me plenty of time and flexibility to care for your dog throughout the day. I can provide walks, playtime, and lots of attention to make sure your pup feels happy and safe. I live with my husband and two kids (ages 11 and 17), and we are all animal lovers. We have a secure fenced yard both in the front and back of the house, giving dogs plenty of safe space to play and explore. I also have a pug friendly at home who love company, and I can crate your dog if needed for safety or comfort.
“Amber was an absolutely wonderful cat sitter. She was very communicative and accommodating throughout. Our cat was quite stressed in our new house, and even though we only booked 30-minute visits, she stayed much longer to make sure he was calm and settled. She also helped with a few things we meant to take care of before leaving but forgot, which was a huge help. She kept everything tidy and cleaned up after the cat, so the house was in great shape when we came home. Truly went above and beyond. A fantastic sitter we’d happily recommend.”

“We always use Will to drop in on our cat when we’re away, he’s brilliant! This time we had to ask Will last minute to administer medication for our cat and Will was amazing as per usual. All medication was given as needed and Will was happy to amend the booking to drop in more regularly due to med timings. Thanks Will!”

About: I have had and loved dogs for all my life. From having just finished my rowing scholarship in the USA, I now want to delve into my other passions which is working with animals and animal care. My family has had purebreds from Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Labradors, West Highland Terriers to rescues (that obviously are a whole range of breeds). We currently have two Romanian rescue dogs, Tora and Finn. They were both one year old when we got them and both had traumatic pasts. It has taken around a year for both of them to feel more settled and comfortable doing most things like even getting into a car. Thus, I have experience with dogs who have had a rough beginning. I am an active person and love going on hikes, jogs and camping trips with them. My favorite thing is to see any dog running around, tails up, happy and knowing I’m giving them a fun, adventure filled life that they deserve. I am available at the weekdays and weekends for walking, dog sitting and drop in visits. I am able to do longer hikes or jogs with your dogs too (if they are younger or high energy). If you leave them with me, they will have a great time, get some treats and will most likely come back to you tired and ready for a nap. I usually travel with my dogs in my dog seat cover / basket on my backseats. I will usually give my dogs treats occasionally throughout the day and probably yours too as well as making sure their water bowl is full. I will always chill with my dog too and play with them when they start getting their energy back. When I hike/ jog with my dogs, it will always be in a safe area and I usually try out new/different trails where I use an extender lead or let them off to explore (but, will obviously do whatever you would feel comfortable with in terms of on/off a lead). I will also adjust where I walk my dogs (or any dog) depending on the weather so, if it is hotter, I will usually walk them near a water source, forest or somewhere with shade. But, if it is cooler, I would more likely go to places like the ridgeway etc… where the sun would be a problem for longer walks. Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up
About: i have lived with dogs and other animals since i was a baby. I have my own dog, Teddy, a 4 year old yorkiepoo and we are inseparable. I have experience looking after senior dogs and giving them round the clock care. I also have experience with puppies and younger dogs, where I have learnt to train them and also provide the round the clock care they sometimes require! I am also more than happy to provide “doggy day care” in your home rather than mine. I understand some dogs prefer their own space, especially when meeting new people and so this is a preferred option for me to ensure your pet is comfortable and happy! I am currently working full time as a Property Manager in an Estate Agents in Newbury, but I am looking to set up my own business! As I currently work 9am-5:30pm, I will be working my pet care services around these times. This means a lovely early morning walk, which is perfect for the summer when the weather can affect our furry friends! It is very important that pets feel comfortable, and so receiving care in their own home environment is highly beneficial for them. Whether it is just a drop in visit for some cuddles, or a top up of their food and water, your pet will be well and truly loved and fussed over!
About: Hi there! My name is Vanessa and I have been looking after dogs for over 25 years. I have owned 7 dogs in my life and had my own dog boarding business that offered a home to home setting for dogs for 10 years whilst living abroad in France. Now being back in the UK, I want to continue offering my services for any dog owner that’s in need. I have always believed that a dog should be cared for equally to the rest of the family and therefore should be treated exactly that way. Dogs are what I know best and love the most so I’m very happy to take care of them. I am also a passionate walker and having a companion is always a great pleasure. I do not work so I am able to offer full time care and attention to your pets. I have the time to care for dogs who are needing specific attention or have specific needs. I have an enclosed garden so I can always let them out as frequently as needed. I have lots of fields and forests nearby so I can offer lovely walks when needed. This is my full time job so I am able to ensure your dog gets the best care. I offer a home to home feeling for your dog. I believe it is important that your dog feels relaxed and at home when they come to stay. Every dog has his/her own needs so in order to make sure they feel settled, I am happy to go through anything they might need to feel more secure.
About: I have had dogs now for almost 10 years and have trained and walked multiple dogs of friends and family. I am certified dog trainer and know all basic training techniques. I have a small home but plenty of walking trails and fields. Me and my partner work opposite shifts so we would be able to take care of your pets through the whole day. Overnight or weekends are always welcome. I have a fenced yard with plenty of comfy spots. We have a 7am breakfast time and 7pm dinner time but can be flexible to the needs of your dog.
About: I've had pets all my life. Rabbits, guinea pigs, hamsters and cats as a child. As an adult I've owned a house rabbit, 2 cats and currently have a dog and a cat. One of my cats sadly passed away with Feline Cystitis and he needed lots of medications. One of my dogs has allergies and sometimes needs medications for this. I'm a qualified nurse, who is comfortable with looking after unwell pets. I am currently on maternity leave. I am at home full time until November 2026. So I am available frequently. I may need to bring my daughter with me for some visits, but this would be discussed beforehand. I have a 6ft fence around the garden. Dogs are very much welcome on the sofa to be comfortable. I live near a huge woods and lots of lovely dog walks.
“Thank you again Ash, all our animals were well looked after and were happy for the company, Ash updated us throughout the process to make it simple and put our mind at rest. We will definitely use Ash in the future so we can start having longer days out :)”

About: I have experience looking after dogs of a few different sizes and breeds on this app and regularly for friends. I’m a big dog lover, so walking dogs and looking after them is something I really enjoy🤍 I work from home so I am flexible on times and dates. This means that I can watch your pups throughout the day, ensuring you are at ease knowing your dog has love and attention all day and is constantly cared for🌞 I believe most dogs would feel very comfortable and calm at mine as my house has a relaxed environment. The dogs are allowed wherever they like- I love cuddling up on the sofa with furry friends! I have a fenced, secure garden in a village to keep your dog safe. I love going for walks, and there are plenty of long trail walks and fields nearby, so this will give your dog a fun, exciting mini-break with me! I’m very attentive when it comes to animals and have learnt to notice signs of stress in a dog & to look out for injuries whilst at home or outside. Having the company of a dog with me while I’m home makes my days significantly better; unfortunately, I can’t have my own just yet. I really enjoy looking after animals, and I love the uniqueness of personality each dog has to offer, so this would be the perfect job for me! 🍄🌈🍒 Please look through my photo gallery to see all the beautiful dogs I’ve looked after :)

About: 🐾 £30 off your first booking on Rover with code: KATIEM34571 🐾 https://www.rover.com/sit/katiem34571 Hello! My name is Katie. I'm looking forward to meeting you and your pets. Your peace of mind is my priority. I've looked after many animals over the years - I've owned a horse, guinea pigs, rabbits, fish and of course, cats and dogs. I can house-sit with your animals and make sure everything is looked after while you're away so you can fully relax and have a worry-free holiday. I'm calm, reliable and conscientious, with years of experience caring for both pets and people's homes. I find that animals usually pick up on this and quickly feel safe and relaxed around me. I'm also happy to water plants, take in deliveries and keep your home looking cared for while you're away. I'll look after everything as if it were my own, so you can relax knowing it's in safe hands. I'm happy to travel outside my local area as long as it's near some sort of transport as I don't have a car at the moment (I do have a bike though). Ideally I'd sit for a minimum of three nights so worth me travelling there and back. I absolutely love all animals and pride myself in taking good care of them and keeping them safe, healthy and happy at all times. I love walking and being outdoors so I'll be happy to take your dogs out for nice long rambles. I've owned many pets over the years so I know the various idiosyncrasies of different animals. Please let me know if you have any small animals, such as: - Guinea pigs - Rabbits - Chickens – Tortoises - Reptiles – Fish As Rover doesn't include those in the booking, I sometimes charge a small additional fee if they're part of the sit and require cleaning, handling or medication. If you have any special requirements or any questions, just drop me a line and I'll be happy to help. I look forward to hearing from you. Warm wishes, Katie NB. I may need to add on some of my travel expenses, if the booking is far outside my area. I'm happy to travel to most places (in the UK and abroad), but as I currently don't have a car, it can be quite pricey to get to some places. I will always discuss this with you when you enquire, however, so we can come to an arrangement that works. I will generally work around whatever routine the pets require. My own routine is flexible enough to adapt to the circumstances. The animals come first! When I'm sitting in a client's home, their home and their pets are at the utmost importance to me. I ensure the animals are safe, happy and cared for at all times, and that the house is kept clean and tidy.

About: Hi I’m Rave :) Just a little about me.. I work in the NHS in a support services role and have the flexibility to work from home and love any time I can spend around animals! I currently rent and do not have the option to adopt my own little pets, hence this would be the perfect opportunity to spread my love. In my spare time I like going for walks, crocheting and doing puzzles! I work from home 3 days of the week so have the flexibility to do drop ins and take pets out for walks etc when I’d like - am able to drive places as well! If I were house sitting I’d try to do as much as I could based on the pets regular schedule so they have a good experience while their parents are away :) It’s important to me that the pets (and owners) feel comfortable with me being in their home - always nice to do a short introduction before the sitting day as this will help them familiarise with me. It’s helpful when owners leave instructions on what to do as each pet is so different- bit about their personality also helps reassure I’m doing the right things to give them the care that’s best for them.
