Calente is great. Really calm and gentle which has enabled Charlie to feel extremely relaxed on her first visit - so important for a nervous rescue ❤️. She has a lovely energy, great communication and we have already booked in a couple more visits to continue to build on what is looking to be a very beautiful relationship with Charlie🙏

I would highly recommend Lily as she is reliable and punctual. She carried out all our requests when looking after our dogs and was a pleasure to deal with. Great levels of communication and flexibility. She gave us updates on our pets. I’ll definitely be asking for Lily’s help again - thank you Lily!

Khaley is absolutely lovely and my cat took to her immediately. Khaley went above and beyond with her care of Ollie, spending lots of time just keeping him company and giving lots of attention. She kept me informed each day and sent lots of photos of a clearly happy cat. I would highly recommend her.

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

About: I have had and loved dogs for all my life. From having just finished my rowing scholarship in the USA, I now want to delve into my other passions which is working with animals and animal care. My family has had purebreds from Rhodesian Ridgeback’s, Labradors, West Highland Terriers to rescues (that obviously are a whole range of breeds). We currently have two Romanian rescue dogs, Tora and Finn. They were both one year old when we got them and both had traumatic pasts. It has taken around a year for both of them to feel more settled and comfortable doing most things like even getting into a car. Thus, I have experience with dogs who have had a rough beginning. I am an active person and love going on hikes, jogs and camping trips with them. My favorite thing is to see any dog running around, tails up, happy and knowing I’m giving them a fun, adventure filled life that they deserve. I am available at the weekdays and weekends for walking, dog sitting and drop in visits. I am able to do longer hikes or jogs with your dogs too (if they are younger or high energy). If you leave them with me, they will have a great time, get some treats and will most likely come back to you tired and ready for a nap. I usually travel with my dogs in my dog seat cover / basket on my backseats. I will usually give my dogs treats occasionally throughout the day and probably yours too as well as making sure their water bowl is full. I will always chill with my dog too and play with them when they start getting their energy back. When I hike/ jog with my dogs, it will always be in a safe area and I usually try out new/different trails where I use an extender lead or let them off to explore (but, will obviously do whatever you would feel comfortable with in terms of on/off a lead). I will also adjust where I walk my dogs (or any dog) depending on the weather so, if it is hotter, I will usually walk them near a water source, forest or somewhere with shade. But, if it is cooler, I would more likely go to places like the ridgeway etc… where the sun would be a problem for longer walks. Your dog will most likely get muddy or wet on walks (with the crazy English weather) but, I always use towels to dry/ clean them up

About: Hi there! My name is Vanessa and I have been looking after dogs for over 25 years. I have owned 7 dogs in my life and had my own dog boarding business that offered a home to home setting for dogs for 10 years whilst living abroad in France. Now being back in the UK, I want to continue offering my services for any dog owner that’s in need. I have always believed that a dog should be cared for equally to the rest of the family and therefore should be treated exactly that way. Dogs are what I know best and love the most so I’m very happy to take care of them. I am also a passionate walker and having a companion is always a great pleasure. I do not work so I am able to offer full time care and attention to your pets. I have the time to care for dogs who are needing specific attention or have specific needs. I have an enclosed garden so I can always let them out as frequently as needed. I have lots of fields and forests nearby so I can offer lovely walks when needed. This is my full time job so I am able to ensure your dog gets the best care. I offer a home to home feeling for your dog. I believe it is important that your dog feels relaxed and at home when they come to stay. Every dog has his/her own needs so in order to make sure they feel settled, I am happy to go through anything they might need to feel more secure.

About: Growing up in the countryside, animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up with family dogs and have since spent years caring for animals of all shapes and sizes and feel very at home around them. I also have my own dog, who is one of the loves of my life! With many years of experience, I’m confident handling pets of all ages and sizes and understand the importance of consistency, safety and attentive care. Friends, family, neighbours and clients have trusted me to walk, feed and care for their pets for many years, and I first began house sitting at 17. Since then, I’ve looked after a wide variety of animals, each with their own personalities, routines and needs. I understand how important it is to know your pet is safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. Whether your dog loves long walks, prefers quiet company, or simply someone to stick to their usual routine, I will care for them as if they were my own. I’m always happy to send regular photos and updates throughout my stay, so you can relax and enjoy your time away with complete peace of mind knowing your pets are happy, settled and receiving the very best care in safe and capable hands. Please note that my own dog will never accompany me on walks, visits or house sits, so your pets will always receive my full attention and care. I’m self-employed, work from home and am currently between projects so have a little extra time on my hands and happy to help out where needed. Because I run my own business, I can be flexible with my time so am happy to work around your schedule and pets routines as best as possible. I can sometimes be flexible around weekends for walks and drop-ins, so please do still get in touch even if you see a date unavailable. I’m more than happy to discuss these directly with you on a case by case basis. Whether your dog loves a nice long walk, playtime with their favourite toys, plenty of cuddles, basic training, or simply having some company during the day, I’m happy to tailor my care to suit their personality and routine. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, feeding, daytime companionship and overnight house sitting. If you’re heading away for a night or a longer trip, I’m also happy to provide extended stays so your dog can remain relaxed and comfortable in the familiarity of their own home. I’ll make sure they’re well looked after, given lots of love and attention, and kept to their usual routine as much as possible. My aim is always to make your dog feel happy, safe and cared for, while giving you peace of mind that they’re in experienced and trustworthy hands.

About: I’ve had dogs and cats throughout my life both young as a puppy/ kittens and older. All well looked after during my time with no issues I work full time from home. I do have a male Lhasa Apso and our routine works well around my job, so he is never left at home alone for too long. My house is secured with fenced garden. I also live near a country park which is great for dog walking, giving the dogs freedom to have a good run.

About: We are a semi retired British couple who love animals and have been full time pet/house sitters since May 2022. We are vegetarian, non smoking, and enjoy yoga, walking and travel. Together we have run a holiday letting business in SW Wales for over 15 years as well as courses for people suffering with Chronic Fatigue/M.E and stress related conditions. All of our therapy and holiday property lettings work has moved online now so we can work remotely from anywhere. This has allowed us the freedom to be full time house/pet sitters and we are loving it! We stay at pet owners homes and very rarely leave pets alone - particularly dogs. Your home will be kept tidy and spotlessly clean at all times. We are DBS checked and insured. Numerous reviews (all 5*) available on request.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes since I was 10 years old. Neighbors, friends, and family regularly trust me to walk, feed, bathe, and care for their pets. I have experience with both puppies and senior dogs, and I always treat every animal as if they were my own. I’m currently working part-time, which gives me plenty of time to give your pup the attention they deserve. I’m available for boarding on weekends and weekday afternoons after 2 PM. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just cuddles, your dog will have my full focus. I have a fenced yard and two friendly dogs who love having company. Your dog will be safe, social, and comfortable in my home. I’m happy to crate your pup if needed and always follow any care instructions you provide. Safety and trust are my top priorities.

About: I have experience looking after dogs of a few different sizes and breeds on this app and regularly for friends. I’m a big dog lover, so walking dogs and looking after them is something I really enjoy🤍 I work from home so I am flexible on times and dates. This means that I can watch your pups throughout the day, ensuring you are at ease knowing your dog has love and attention all day and is constantly cared for🌞 I believe most dogs would feel very comfortable and calm at mine as my house has a relaxed environment. The dogs are allowed wherever they like- I love cuddling up on the sofa with furry friends! I have a fenced, secure garden in a village to keep your dog safe. I love going for walks, and there are plenty of long trail walks and fields nearby, so this will give your dog a fun, exciting mini-break with me! I’m very attentive when it comes to animals and have learnt to notice signs of stress in a dog & to look out for injuries whilst at home or outside. Having the company of a dog with me while I’m home makes my days significantly better; unfortunately, I can’t have my own just yet. I really enjoy looking after animals, and I love the uniqueness of personality each dog has to offer, so this would be the perfect job for me! 🍄🌈🍒 Please look through my photo gallery to see all the beautiful dogs I’ve looked after :)
