“Sarah was wonderful in taking care of Hummus. She sent me regular updates and photos of how he was doing and he looked happy and relaxed to be with her, despite being a generally anxious kitty. She also graciously accepted a change in plans to extend the booking. I was very pleased with her care and would definitely recommend her to anyone! ☺️”

“Ellie was superb!! She visited every day and ensured that the cats were well cared for! Loved getting the daily update pictures and videos. I would definitely recommend Ellie and look forward to booking again next time we go away - thanks Ellie!! ”

About: I grew up caring for animals and raised a rescued stray dog as well as several rabbits. Friends and neighbours often trust me to look after their pets, including dogs and cats. I’m currently studying for the ICAEW qualification and work from home, so I have a flexible schedule and can give pets plenty of attention during the day. I live in a ground-floor flat in St Paul’s with a fenced garden and I’m only a two-minute walk from Portland Square, which makes frequent toilet breaks and walks easy. Happy to send regular photo updates so you can feel reassured while you’re away. Your furry friends will be treated like my own :) I’m currently studying for the ICAEW qualification and work from home, so I have plenty of time to play with your fur babies! “Erin has been a great help keeping Deefa company while we’ve both been away from home. She’s kept us up to date with her schedule, sent us gorgeous pics on their walks, and Deefa looks very happy to be out and about with her new pal! Wouldn’t hesitate to ask for Erin’s help again.”

About: I started walking, looking after and dog sitting from the age of 14. Recently since having more time I have started looking after friends dogs in Bristol and absolutely love it! I worked in a veterinary practice for work experience during school. I am happy to stay at your pets home or house them at my own. I work remotely and I’m lucky that my job allows me to work anywhere so I can be very flexible, especially during weekdays and for drop ins and walking. Please try to give me 1 weeks notice for sitting where you can, although I know how crazy schedules can be! I have looked after a large range of cats and dogs within all age ranges. I am confident walking dogs on and off lead as well as respecting commands that you have set in place. I love to play with all pets as well as cuddles and attention. I am comfortable with any rules you have set in place.

“I found Sarah very friendly and easy to communicate from the very beginning! While we were away she kept us up to date with lovely photos and with plenty of description of what Lula was up to! This was my first experience using this website but I'd recommend Sarah to anyone that want to feel at ease while being away from their fluffy companion.”

“Catherine took great care of our Gucci who can be a bit anxious around new pet sitters. She took time to get to know him and we came back from our trip to a very happy kitty. Thank you!”

“Jasmine did an excellent job looking after our cat, going above and beyond to make sure she was happy and warm in the chilly weather. We'll definitely make use of her services again 😀”

“Nicole was amazing! She came round before the booking to meet out cats and they immediately warmed to her. Nicole, sent lots of pictures of our cats getting all the cuddles and affection they could ever want and they were super happy to have her looking after them! Nicole was also very informative and had great communication letting us know our cats were safe and well looked after. We would definitely book with Nicole again!”

“This was our first time using a cat sitter and Anna was everything we hoped for! A genuine and lovely person, communication was great prior to and during our trip, and the cats took to her straight away and enjoyed lots of cuddles, even our more aloof boy! Would highly recommend.”

“Charlotte was absolutely great. She came and met Keiko beforehand and kept us up-to-date with messages and photo’s whilst we were away. We were nervous first time Rover users, but Charlotte took excellent care of our fur baby.”

“The level of care and consideration Silvia had for Kimchi and Nori was truly lovely. We did an initial meet and greet, and during my trip I was always kept up-to-date with pictures and videos. It looked like Kimchi and Nori had an amazing time, and look forward to seeing you soon! Thanks again, Silvia :)”

“Mariana was amazing with our 9month old pup who took to her straight away!! Mariana is now going to v regularly visiting our pup and we're delighted to have found her. Highly recommend”

“Sarah is absolutely wonderful with my cat, Benji! This was my third time booking her, and it’s clear Benji loves her — he even flopped over for belly rubs! Sarah took time to play with him and kept me updated. Highly recommend!”

“Nicole was so good with our 2 dogs. One being a very nervous rescue who doesn’t take to people well. She came and meet them beforehand to make sure they were comfortable, and within 5 minutes he was up wanting attention. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend or use her again!”

“Amy was amazing! We came home to a very relaxed and happy cat who had obviously been really well looked after. He can be quite a hard boy to keep happy when we are away so it is great to have found Amy who really cares and understands cats and their needs. We had regular updates, pictures and videos so we knew everything was okay. Can’t recommend enough!!”

“Isobel house sit and took care of our two indoor cats for the weekend. Isobel was fantastic and was very happy to meet our wishes (ie meal times, playtime, etc). Isobel also kept us in touch as requested and sent us photos. The cats really took a liking to her and I would be happy to use her service again and again! Isobel also left our home tidy and clean which was a nice added benefit. Highly recommend Isobel and will be rebooking her soon. Thank you Isobel 🤗”

Bristol cat owners share their Rover experiences
Andrea is fantastic! She has completely won over my shy old boy, he is so calm and normal when I return so I know he’s very comfortable with her. Andrea is great with comms, sends such detailed updates (plus cute pics), and takes care of him exactly how I would. Have already done rebookings with Andrea and I can’t recommend her highly enough!

Chun was a rockstar! He watched my two cats over the winter holidays and took such good care of them and sent so many unique pictures of them each day. He did a great job communicating proactively and even came in clutch with extending by a day after some travel issues popped up.

Laura was really lovely and attentive from start to finish when she looked after our cat Pepper over the festive period! This was the second year of asking Laura to look after Pepper, and both times she has been incredibly punctual and kept us up to date with lots of photos and videos! She was also more than happy to do a pre-visit to ensure Pepper was comfortable with her (which he absolutely was!) and recognised her when she went to feed him/play with him! Thanks Laura!
