Welcome to my page! I’ve been around family dogs and cats my whole life and absolutely adore them. During the COVID pandemic, I hand-raised three orphaned kittens from approximately two days old, two of which never left and are my beloved pets now (don’t worry the third went to some good family friends!). I’d also been around dogs for much of my life, including farm/working dogs and family pets. I have seven years of experience in veterinary clinics where I’ve assisted pet owners over the phone in both emergency and GP settings. In these roles, I have interacted and handled a large variety of dogs. I understand body language of both dogs and cats as a result of my experience. Additionally, I’m experienced handling senior cats and any medication they may need. My own childhood cat lived to 18 years old and in his sunset years I supplemented him with Yumove and our vet prescribed Metacam, to keep him as pain free as possible, as he had developed some arthritis.

I will get a better understanding of each individual pets’ needs from their parents to minimise stress whilst they are away. Such as sticking to specific meal times and lots of fun play. I’ve also found that playing classical music is very calming, particularly with cats! It’s a tactic often used it vet clinics with their own cat wards.

This is who you want to look after your cat! Nori absolutely loved her visits, and we really appreciated the report cards and many pictures. Philippa takes the time to get to know your cat beforehand as well. We felt fully reassured little Nori was in the best hands with Phillipa. Would recommend to anyone.
Philippa was super punctual, and gave great notes and pictures for keeping my mind at ease while being away!

Phillipa was fantastic, very organised and kept us up to date on visits while we were away. The kitties were happy and healthy, and even our shy girl came out to say hello!

Schedule
I am already cat sitting for a family member over summer here in Bristol. This is why I cannot offer boarding unfortunately! Therefore, I am very flexible and have a lot of availability for pet sitting and dog walking!
