Flo can be quite anxious, so it was important to us to find someone calm, patient, and caring. Lizzie was exactly that. She arranged a meet-and-greet beforehand to make sure Flo was comfortable with her, which gave us great peace of mind. Throughout our trip, Lizzie kept us updated with regular photos and messages, so we always knew Flo was happy and well looked after. From the pictures, it looked like Flo had made a friend for life! About: I’m a veterinary student at the University of Bristol, in my third year, with a genuine passion for animals and their health and wellbeing. Through my studies, I’ve gained extensive practical experience through veterinary placements, shadowing, husbandry internships, dog walking and working in dog daycare. This has given me experience with animals of different ages, personalities and needs, while continually developing my knowledge of animal health, behaviour, handling and welfare. I’m confident adapting my care to each individual pet and always aim to make them feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. For the next few weeks, I’m home and have a very flexible schedule, so I’m available for pet care throughout the week. Once university starts on September 21st, my schedule will be more structured, but I’ll mainly be available on weekends and some afternoons depending on my timetable. I’m happy to work around individual routines and will keep my availability updated as my university schedule changes. When caring for pets in their own home, I aim to keep their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I’ll follow their usual feeding, exercise, medication and enrichment routines, while giving them plenty of attention, patience and affection. I’m respectful of the owner’s home and will make sure everything is kept clean and tidy. My veterinary studies and practical animal care experience also mean I’m confident handling animals and attentive to changes in their behaviour or wellbeing.

About: I have grown up with 1 giant family dog and 2 cats. After the chaos of that household during the puppy training stage, i’m sure I can handle anything! My neighbours have often trusted me to check in on their pets, including bathroom breaks, walking, feeding, and just generally keeping them company. Having looked after pets of different ages and sizes, I feel confident that I can keep them happy and safe, as well as maintaining routines set out by their owners. I also have experience sitting for 2 elderly cats who needed special attention and medication, so don’t hesitate to reach out to me even if your pet needs any extra love and care! I’m currently a student at the University of Bristol, so will have a few hours of work during weekdays but still plenty of time to pop in and play with your pets. Living right in the centre of Bristol means i’m able to quickly get around and take last minute sits/ walks. I may also be available for longer pet sits in your home on weekends and half term holidays, so please don’t hesitate to ask! Now that I’m in my final year of university I’m missing my own pets and would love some time walking, playing and caring for cats and dogs. CJ looked after Axel and Bailey while we were away and I honestly could not have asked for more. Her communication throughout was excellent. She sent photos and videos, kept me updated without me ever having to chase, and when I asked her to give the boys a hug from me she made sure they got one. That might sound like a small thing but when you are away from your dogs for that long it means everything. They were walked every day and the pictures said it all. Two very happy, very settled dogs. We also came home to a house that was clean, tidy and exactly as we left it, which I really appreciated after a long journey back. The best thing I can say is that I spent the whole trip not worrying about them. Knowing my boys were being properly cared for by someone who clearly loves dogs made an enormous difference to being able to relax and enjoy the time away. Gigi looked after our cat, tortoise, lizard and pond fish with such love and care, we were able to enjoy our break without the worry. She kept us updated with photos, videos and messages all the time. I would 100% request Gigi to take care of my pets again, she is a lovely person who genuinely cares about animals.

Lauren was absolutely brilliant with our two middle-aged rescue dogs. It was clear from the pictures she sent that the dogs were comfortable with her (not always easy!) and they had lovely walks each day. One of our dogs can be reactive but we felt secure leaving her with Lauren. She stayed at ours overnight and left the house clean and tidy which us always a bonus 😊 will definitely be booking with Lauren again!
Amy and Henry were fantastic! Communication was excellent and they both came over prior to the house sitting booking to meet our spaniel Juno. Juno can be a bit nervous to start with but they quickly won her over. Amy sent photo updates while we were away, Juno looked happy and relaxed. The house was left tidy. I would highly recommend Amy and hope to rebook in the future if she is available.
Bingley our spaniel was very relaxed on our return after a night out in Bristol. Jessica came to our hotel and looked after him. Otis had another wonderful, happy week with Judith. He simply adores her and she is just amazing with him. So loving and caring. It lets us have the most relaxing week on holiday knowing he is being so well looked after. Daily photos, videos and updates were so appreciated.
While we were away Liang kept us up to date on how the dogs were. He sent us photos and videos which was good to see. He kept a daily account of where he walked them the time and when he fed them. Jack looked after our dog and my parents' dog while we got married - and he did an amazing job. Our dog is a rescue who we haven't had very long so we were anxious about leaving him, but Jack kindly met him in advance and sent us updates throughout the day which was very reassuring. Kat and Ollie looked after Mancha for a week while I was on holiday after we had recently moved and M was still a little unsettled. They were super calm with her and took the time to understand her medical needs and followed all instructions. They also left my home exactly as they found it. Good no fuss communication throughout and M was super happy with them and would definitely book them again.
