In my day job, I work for a mental health charity, leading a team that designs and delivers courses to support people’s wellbeing. I have a background in psychology and have previous experience in community and crisis support. My work has taught me to be patient, compassionate, reliable and calm, qualities I bring to caring for your pets too. I work hybrid and cover the Bath & North East Somerset, Swindon and Wiltshire area, but spend most of my time working from home. This gives me plenty of flexibility to work around pet care, including keeping your pet company while I work, as well as fitting in walks and drop-ins. I’ve always loved animals and grew up with a German Shepherd who was a huge part of our family. Since losing her, I’ve really missed having an animal around and I’m always the first to volunteer when friends need a dog sitter! As I can’t have a pet of my own right now, I’d love to spend time with your furry friends, whether that’s going for walks, having belly rubs or simply keeping them company. I’ll treat your pet as my own and take the time to understand their personality, routine and individual needs. I also love sending owners photos and updates so you can see your pet having fun and know they’re happy and well cared for. I drive too, so I’m happy to take dogs on little adventures if they enjoy exploring!

I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including their feeding, walking and medication routines where needed. I’ll make sure they have plenty of attention and company while also respecting their space and individual needs. When caring for your pet in their home, I’ll treat your home with the same care and respect I would my own. I’m also happy to send regular photos and updates so you know how your pet is getting on.

Lauren was absolutely brilliant with our two middle-aged rescue dogs. It was clear from the pictures she sent that the dogs were comfortable with her (not always easy!) and they had lovely walks each day. One of our dogs can be reactive but we felt secure leaving her with Lauren. She stayed at ours overnight and left the house clean and tidy which us always a bonus 😊 will definitely be booking with Lauren again!
When Lauren told me she was going to finally pursue this gig of a lifetime, after years of seeing her obsess over all the dogs in our friendship group and any she passes by, I was so happy! Not just for my friend, but for all the cuties out there that would have the best human looking after them. Just by meeting Lauren, you can tell straight away that she’s a safe and compassionate human being, and I have no doubt you’ll feel comfortable leaving your dog with her or even having her in your home. If you’re looking for an above average service for you and your beloved pets, this is who you need to contact. I know nobody better for the job.
Lauren looked after our two pugs, Gracie & Darla, when we had a family wedding to attend and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. From the moment they met her, they absolutely adored her, which immediately put our minds at ease. It’s so clear that she genuinely loves dogs, and they picked up on that straight away. Throughout their stay, Lauren kept us updated with photos and messages whilst on walks and getting all the love and attention, which was such a lovely touch and really reassured us that they were happy, settled and having the best time. I felt like I could really relax and enjoy myself. Knowing Lauren personally, I already knew she was kind, caring and reliable, but seeing how amazing she was with Gracie & Darla just confirmed it. We wouldn’t hesitate to leave them with her again, and I’d wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone wanting someone who will genuinely care for their pets like family. Thank you Lauren!!
I have known Lauren for over 13 years. Our friendship grew largely out of our shared love for dogs—over the years, we've looked after, walked, trained, and adored our pups together. I have no doubt Lauren will be an incredible dog walker. Her genuine love for animals and nature means that caring for your dog won't just be a job to her, but a truly rewarding experience. Schedule
I work hybrid and spend most of my working week from home, giving me good flexibility around pet care. I’m able to work from home while keeping your pet company, as well as fit in walks, drop-ins and other visits around my schedule. I’ll always discuss your pet’s needs and routine with you beforehand to make sure I can provide the right level of care.
