She is so relaxed and has a natural empathy with dogs which my dog responded to immediately (this is very unusual!). It also helped that there were two other small dogs there to help him settle in and to play with in the Bark Park :) Synolda sent me regular updates and made the experience so much less stressful for us so we were able to enjoy our family event. It is important to me that as pet owers you feel completely relaxed and know your dog is being taken great care of while you are away. Your dog will be treated as part of the family and made to feel as comfortable and happy as possible on their little holiday! 🐶 I have had many dogs of my own throughout my whole life and taken care of the dogs of friends and family for many years. I am now in a position to offer my services to other people full time. I work from home full time so will always be here with your dog. They will get regular walks in the local parks, and I have a nice big secure garden for them to play in too. Being with me will feel like a home from home for your dog, they will be loved and cared for as I do for my own. I work from home full time, the dogs will be able to roam the ground floor of my home and the nice big secure garden that we have here, and keep me company in my home office! At lunch time your dog will get a long walk. Additional walks per day depending on how long your dog is here. I have a lovely big secure garden for your dog to play in. My whole home is secure due to having a dog of my own. I have a room for the dogs to be crated in if that is your preference while I am out or during the night. I can be flexible to accommodate your preferences and your dogs needs.

About: I've been around animals for as long as I can remember and have had a variety of pets since I was a young child. I have experience dog sitting for dogs of all breeds, ages, sizes and personalities, so I'm confident adapting my care to each dog's individual needs. I understand that every dog is different, and I'm always happy to go the extra mile to make sure your pup feels safe, comfortable and loved while they're with me. Growing up, I had a Lurcher, an English Bull Terrier, and a Staffordshire Bull Terrier, which gave me experience with very different temperaments and energy levels. Since then, I've regularly looked after many other breeds and have become comfortable caring for dogs with a wide range of personalities, routines, and requirements. I'm patient, understanding and affectionate. I'm confident handling different temperaments. Whether your dog loves long walks, lots of playtime, or simply wants someone calm to keep them company, I'll make sure they receive the care and attention they deserve. I am currently not working after taking a career break, which means my schedule is very flexible. I'm able to work around your needs. I'm happy to care for your dog in your home, especially for larger breeds, as I live in a one-bedroom flat. Caring for your dog in their familiar environment can also help them feel more relaxed and comfortable while you're away. Your dog's safety, wellbeing, and routine will always be my top priorities. I'll take the time to understand their individual needs, including feeding schedules, exercise, medication (if required), favourite walking routes, and any behavioural quirks or preferences. I always follow your instructions carefully to ensure your dog feels safe, happy, and cared for. I'm also happy to discuss your dog's specific needs beforehand so we can make sure they're receiving the best possible care while you're away.

Absolutely lovely couple and I couldn’t recommend them enough! They’re clearly very experienced with dogs and were fantastic at communicating both before and during the stay. They were also so accommodating with my date changes when my plans kept changing. While they had Quila for the week, they kept me updated with lots of photos of their adventures, which was so reassuring. She looked incredibly happy and settled in every picture, it honestly sounded like she was treated like a queen in their home! I felt completely at ease knowing she was in such good hands and would happily have them look after her again. Thank you both for taking such amazing care of her! ❤️
Can’t recommend Clare enough. Our two dogs had the best time at her home. She looked after them like they were her own and we are so grateful. Clearly has lots of experience of and love for dogs. She was fantastic. We really appreciated the level of communication too. Not too much but the perfect amount to show the dogs we’re having the best time! Would definitely book again (if she’ll have them)
Lexi was brilliant with our dog Arty, she had him for a week. After a brief meet and greet at her home, I dropped him off a few weeks later with no issues. By the next morning she sent me a picture of him flat out asleep in his bed, on his back with his tummy on full show so he obviously trusted her very quickly! Lexi sent regular updates and I felt fully confident that she was looking after him brilliantly. I would highly recommend her!
Lexi was clearly very relaxed with Yolanda, immediately jumping onto the dofa next to her and putting her head on Yolanda's knees. I received lots of photos and videos of Lexi having a great time and foynd Yolanda personable, helpful and kind. I would book with her again.
Kamila & Duncan were great communicators throughout and we could really relax on our holiday knowing Roger was well taken care of. Their house is perfect for pups and they clearly took Roger on lots of lovely walks and entertained his insatiable appetite for fetch. Would definitely use them again!
Joe was great with rupert and they instantly seemed to get on very well. He has an understanding of behaviour and reactivity which was really reassuring for us and our dogs situation. He left the house tidy and even helped water our plants whilst we were away. He responded quickly every time we reached out and sent us lovely photos. I felt comfortable leaving my dog with him and would definitely do so again in the future.
Kelsey and James were absolutely brilliant with our little dachshund! They clearly really understand the breed and took such great care of him. We got loads of lovely updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We couldn’t have asked for better care. Willow had the best time during her holiday with Sam, Phil & Murphy 🐶. We were super anxious about leaving her whilst we were going away on holiday but Sam was so lovely and reassuring - even offering a meet before hand at her home. We had regular updates during our time away and it was obvious to see that Willow was having the best time and was being well cared for. Without doubt would use again for our precious fur-baby. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
