Amy looked after our two young cats for a week while we were on holiday. She took beautiful care of them, followed our directions meticulously, and sent us photos every day. When we came back we found our cats to be relaxed and happy. We've requested Amy again already!

Amy was a wonderful pet sitter for my one-year-old Bengal cat, Suzu, this summer in Belgium. Before we left for our holiday, Amy took the time to build a warm and trusting relationship with Suzu. She asked thoughtful questions to make sure she understood exactly how to care for her. During our trip, she didn't hesitate to contact me whenever she needed clarification, which gave me great peace of mind. When we returned home, we found a happy and relaxed cat, a spotless litter box, and a tidy house. I wholeheartedly recommend Amy to anyone looking for a kind, reliable, and professional pet sitter. Cheers, Kati

Amy is a very responsible caring person who is very good with animals. She helped teach my dog some tricks using positive reinforcement, and clearly enjoyed taking her out for walks and looking after her. She seems passionate about animal welfare and I would highly recommend her.

Schedule

I’ll be in Bristol for uni holidays - so I’ll have plenty of time to spend with your pet(s)! My availability is in blocks of several weeks at a time, available on my calendar, which I regularly update. If I’m over yours, I’ll walk your dog(s) at the times you give me - 1-2 hours of daily walks are included in housesitting, and up to 30-40 mins for each dog walk / drop-in visit. If your dog is over for daycare, I’ll walk them at the same time as Juni, unless you let me know otherwise - for example, if they need shorter walks or a slower pace, or are reactive to other dogs out on walks. Juni gets 2 walks a day, totalling ~1hr, but she will adventure forever, so we can more than accommodate a more active lifestyle! We live very close to lots of green spaces, including parks, Ashton Court, and our favourite enclosed space to run and meet other dogs, Southville Bark Park.

Safety, trust & environment

I will stick to what your pet is used to! Please let me know their daily routine plus anything else they enjoy. At mine, we have both a front door and porch door, so your dog is protected if they try and have an outdoor adventure of their own! We also have a baby gate on the stairs, and the downstairs has everything we need. At yours, please let me know what’s allowed and what’s not for your dog, so we can stay consistent with boundaries.

Pets

A typical day

Providing loving company and mental and physical stimulation are very important to me. Depending on your pet’s routine, a typical visit could include: - an adventurous walk around town or to the park - playtime with their favourite toys - food / water refill - toilet time - trick training - games - strokes, cuddles and general affection As bathing a dog too often is bad for their skin, I won’t give them one unless they need it - for example, getting very muddy or rolling in something on one of our adventures. We have our own shampoo which works for Juni, but feel free to bring your own, or let me know if you’d rather wait til you’re back.
