Mel took her on plenty of lovely walks, lots of cuddles and affection which my dog laps up! About: I have many years of experience as guardian of my own dogs, cats as well as small pets, but I also previously worked for a dog walking company doing solo walks, cat and small pet visits and I helped out with puppy classes. I now offer dog walking and pop-in visits for dogs, cats and small animals. I have also experience with farm animals such as chickens, ducks, sheep and pigs, so don't hesitate to ask me if you need pop-in visits on other animals! Since my own dog passed away at nearly 16 years old this year, I can now also offer boarding in my own home for dogs and cats. I'm happy to walk dogs with additional needs such as reactive dogs, senior dogs, puppies, recovering dogs etc. I prefer to walk them in a harness for their own safety and comfort, and I will do my best to make the walk as interesting and enriching as possible! Most of all I want their time with me to be pleasant and stress free! I will need to know if your pets have any special requirements such as dietary needs, allergies, medication etc. I'm working Monday to Thursdays in my day job (working from home), so on those days I'm unavailable for daytime walks and visits. I may be available for evening cat feeds and visits, so please just sent me a message to find out! Fridays to Sundays I'm available in the daytime as well as for evening visits. Don't hesitate to get in touch with any questions. Please note I can currently only board dogs who are able to be left for short periods of time (1-2 hours) and/or are crate trained. It can be daunting to have a stranger come into your home and look after your pets while you're out, but I can assure you I will treat your home with the utmost respect and follow any instructions given by you. I can give updates during/after the visit if required to give you peace of mind. I also have an enhanced DBS certificate.

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, from cats and dogs to rabbits, guinea pigs, lizards… you name it! Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I absolutely love spending time with them. Although I’m not able to have a dog of my own right now, I’m incredibly passionate about caring for other people’s pets and would love the opportunity to give your dog plenty of care, attention, exercise and companionship. I live in a beautiful first floor flat in Emersons Green in a quiet and safe area with a park just down the road, making it a lovely place for dogs to stay and enjoy walks. I’m very active and train every single day, either at the gym or running, so dog walking fits perfectly into my lifestyle! I genuinely enjoy being outdoors and staying active, and I’d love to have a furry companion join me on my walks and adventures. I’ve also recently been helping to train an 8-week-old Dalmatian puppy, which has been going really well! This has given me hands on experience with the patience, consistency and positive reinforcement that young puppies need. Whether your dog needs a fun and energetic walk, some company during the day, or a safe and loving home away from home, I’ll always make sure they feel happy, comfortable and well cared for. 🐾❤️ 🐶 🐈 I work full time, but I do have WFH days on occasion! I am available for overnight stays and evening walks and cuddles on the days where I am in the office. Arty was incredible with Parker, she was able to make herself available at really short notice after we got let down a few days before our holiday, she always kept us up to date and sent lots of pictures, he has had an absolutely wonderful time and we were really confident was being looked after so well. Victoria was a stellar sitter for our lovely boy Milo. She put me immediately at ease when we met for a meet and greet by explaining all the different ways she takes care to meet each dog's individual needs and also asking lots of relevant questions to make sure she understood exactly what Milo's needs were. While we were away, she sent updates each day telling us exactly how well Milo was getting on and showing some very funny moments between him and her own dog which was so lovely to see. She also made sure his mental and physical needs were met without overtiring him as I had warned her, he was still in recovery from an injury. I will definitely book Victoria again in the future and am deeply grateful for everything she did to look after him!

Jack and Lauren did a great job of looking after our Iranian rescue dog for a couple of days. He's been through a lot, isn't away from us very often and he was a lot more worried about being left for a weekend than I thought he would be! Jack and Lauren were excellent in keeping him feeling calm and secure and being extra-patient with him. He got plenty walks and attention and we wouldn't hesitate to ask them to look after him again in the future. Thank you!
We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after Pablo whilst we were on holiday. From the moment he arrived, it really felt like a home from home for him, and he settled in well. We received regular updates, photos and videos, which was lovely and gave us so much reassurance while we were away. If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
