Your pet will be like one of the family 🐾
I’ve loved and cared for animals all my life, from growing up with dogs to helping at an emergency rescue centre (and of course adopting some waifs and strays along the way !) to fostering kittens and puppies and rehoming elderly, anxious and sick cats and dogs . My sister is a vet, so medical expertise is a phone call away. Your pet will be like a member of our family for the time we care for them. I don’t have any pets of my own currently.

This was the longest I had ver left Coops but it was made so much easier knowing he was having the best time with Petra and family. I had loads of wonderful pictures and updates through out and was clear Coops was very happy, settled and loved. He will without at doubt be staying again
Our dog Luca had a lovely overnight stay with Petra who was warm and welcoming when we dropped him off. It was lovely to receive photos later in the day, especially of him looking rather embarrassed as he was embraced by a younger member of the family. It was obvious he had been made to feel welcome and included in her home. Being close to Oldbury Court lovely walks are just minutes away and Patra was very understanding when we bumped into them there unexpectedly less than an hour after we had dropped him off. Luca was understandably confused but Petra dealt with his howls of anguish really well, and when we parted company was quick to send reassuring messages letting us know he had quickly settled. Will definitely be asking her for her support again.
Petra was a fantastic sitter for Vinnie; we will absolutely be visiting her again. From the off, she was proactive, positive and enthusiastic. All her communication was clear and transparent, her suggestions were all pragmatic and sensible (e.g. a meet up) and she was supportive and flexible to help Vinnie settle in and maintain routine. Vinnie clearly had a great time, and certainly enjoying being in the little pack at Petra’s: there was always something going on and the socialisation and stimulation was excellent. She provided a healthy and lovely environment for Vinnie’s stay, and her communication throughout the stay was genuinely top notch.
Wonderful care of our dog, Lila! She loves going to Petra’s home and it’s like mini-break / holiday for her. Petra and her family treat Lila like a member of the family and we really appreciate that.
Petra and family looked after our dogs for the third time. We have no hesitation leaving our dogs, they are treated as part of the family and love going there. Recieved lots of lovely photos, and our dogs are very happy after they visit. Defiantly be using again, and thank you again so much 🐕 😀
Petra was the perfect sitter for our pooch Claude. Really responsive, kept in touch and sent updates and photos to put us at ease. She even suggested a meet and greet ahead of Claude's stay so he could familiarise himself. Claude had such a nice time and I'd recommend Petra to anyone looking for a sitter.

Schedule
I work part-time during the week remotely from home around dropping off and picking up my children from school so I’m at home to care and keep your pet company and go out walking locally .

Safety, trust & environment
I have lots of room for pets in my 3 bed terraced home and a good-sized lawned fenced garden. I live a short walk from Oldbury Court Estate which is ideal for dog walks, including lots of space for the energetic and quieter areas for the more nervous of disposition . My children adore animals and will also sensitively lavish your pet with affection and play for those who want it . If your dog has not stayed with a sitter before, is nervous or experiences separation anxiety , we may need to arrange additional settling in sessions prior to the booking so we can all be sure your dog will feel happy and settled here for the duration of their stay.
A typical day
We love walking in Oldbury Court Estate and can take energetic dogs for a run around and play, or equally a quieter potter round for the nervous or more senior to have a good sniff and explore . My garden has patio, lawn and trees for dogs to explore and stretch their legs or play some fetch / ball with my enthusiastic kids !

- Please let me know everything I need to know about your dog - what and when to feed, personality and how they communicate their needs, what they like to do and how they feel about other dogs or people we may meet . I’ll be interested to know if your pet has stayed with a sitter previously and whether they experience separation anxiety or other struggles, as well as whether they’re used to being around other animals and children . Please ensure your pet is up to date with vaccinations and worm and flea treatments.
