We will absolutely be getting in touch again when next we need someone to cover. Thanks Emma!”

About: Hi, I'm Kerry! I share my home with my family, and a Cocker Spaniel called Bran. I've had dogs for over 10 years and genuinely love their company. Since bringing Bran home, I've spent a lot of time learning about the needs of active and busy breeds. I understand the importance of both physical exercise and mental stimulation and, I enjoy incorporating training, enrichment and sniffy walks into my dog's day. I'm home throughout the day so your dog would have lots of company and I can offer flexible walks and drop in visits that suit your dogs schedule. Most importantly, I'll care for your dog as I would my own and keep you updated with photos and messages while they're with me. Your dog would be treated like part of our family. I have a flexible schedule and will be home throughout most of the day. My husband works from home, so if I pop out, there will still be someone around to give your dog plenty of attention and care. I am able to offer two walks a day and your dog would never be left alone for long periods of time. I can offer walks and drop ins througout the week. If your dog needs a lunchtime walk, some company while you're out and a toilet break, I'm happy to help! I have a secure garden with plenty of space so your dog can safely enjoy outdoor time. For any dogs staying with us it's important they're comfortable with family life and happy to spend time with my dog. Like most spaniels, he's sociable and enjoys play when meeting new dogs, but settles well afterwards. That said, I also have enough space to provide separate, quiet time. Meet and greets are always welcome to make sure it's a good fit for everyone. For drop ins and walks, I'll fit in with your dog's usual routine as much as possible and keep you updated with photos and messages along the way.
“Victoria is excellent and we recommend her highly. When we first booked, we had a long conversation on the phone to discuss food/ behaviour/ triggers etc and we felt very comfortable that our boy was being thoroughly cared for. Thank you again!”

“Samuel did a great job caring for our Labrador. Leo came home relaxed and happy, which says a lot about the care he received. He was welcoming, reliable, and very easy to communicate with. Leo was clearly comfortable with him, and we wouldn’t hesitate to book again.”

About: Caring for animals has always come naturally to me. For as long as I can remember, I’ve felt a strong connection to them and a real sense of comfort being surrounded by their energy and companionship. I grew up with dogs, cats, and many other animals, and caring for them has always been a big part of my life. Over the years, friends, family, and neighbours often trusted me to look after their beloved pets as well. My closest companion was a little Maltese who stayed by my side for 16 wonderful years, until she sadly passed away in December 2022. After that loss, many people continued reaching out to me for help with their pets, and that’s how this new chapter began. The space left by my lifelong companion slowly opened the door to many new furry friendships. Alongside my experience with animals, I also have extensive training in caring for people and children, as well as a Master’s Degree in Psychology. While caring for animals is of course unique in its own way, many of the same qualities apply: patience, empathy, attention, and understanding. I truly care for every pet as if they were my own, and I understand how important it is for owners to feel their animals are safe, loved, and well looked after. If your dog will spend the time with me, I'll dedicate complete attention to your little friend based on his/her needs and his/her routine full time. :) ABOUT THE BOOKING: I need two weeks notice for more than 1night, couple of days for day care and once in contact I always schedule for a first meeting. The meeting is about 15/20 minutes outside or inside my flat if we both feel comfortable with. It is free, so no charge for it. Please be aware that there is NO OBLIGATION to accept your booking after the meeting. This is why the meeting was created for. I accept booking no more than 1 month in advance, no more than 5 days in a row. I can make exception for small and very calm, relaxed dogs or dogs that have already stayed in my flat and don't require too much energy. Please remember that I take care of one pet at a time so you will have a better chance of having the days you are looking for if you confirm before the others. This is why the first meeting is important, it allows you to have priority. When create your dog's profile, remember to add photos and all the required information. As a sitter I also decide and need the information you share with me! If you have more than one pet, Rover needs one separate profile for each one of them. Please be honest and clear about your dog HEALTH. Please note that I am unable to take responsibility for your dog’s health during your holiday if there are any existing or uncertain health concerns. Before boarding check with VET if: - Diet is correct and that there is no risk of loose stools and upset stomach. - The dog scratch, bite their skin or showing any signs of discomfort. Please maintain hight level of HYGIENE. - Make sure your dog is clean and free from fleas or ticks before the booking. - Treat the dog with appropriate medications (spray, drops or collar) specially during ticks season (April - October) In case your pet spends one or more nights in my flat, I request a text message (email or a paper) with all the dog routine INFORMATION, contact details, equipment list, food, medication and so on. I also offer daily PHOTOS and VIDEOS. You can monitor the state of happiness of your pet while is away from you. :D I simply care for your pet the same way I’d hope someone would care for mine. I know leaving your pet with someone else can feel stressful, so I’ll do everything I can to make the experience as comfortable and reassuring as possible for both you and your pet! VERY IMPORTANT: Please be kind when you request a booking and during a meeting. I offer my home and my personal space that I share with another person. Is my home therefore I DO NOT TOLLERATE any rude, destructive, offensive behaviour. I also do not tolerate any inappropriate, noisy, intruding comments or questions about my personal life. Please be respectful because I will be respectful with you. Let's maintain a friendly and polite conversation. :) I am here to offer a service and there is no reason why I should feel uncomfortable in my own home. Unfortunately this has happened in the past and I wish it didn't happen again. ABOUT DOGS AND SIZES: What if you have two dogs? I can make an exception following this criteria for a House Sitting in mine: - if the dogs are from the same owner; - if they have training or good behaviour indoors and no problem with furniture and plants; - if they are calm and relaxed; - if they weight no more than 10kg; - if they are used to not too large spaces; - if the booking is no more than 1 nights; In your House? - if they are calm and relaxed; - Drop in visit only. Again, you need to have 2 profiles for each one of them. About large dog in mine: - If they are calm and relaxed; - if they are used to not too large space; - if they have training or good behaviour indoors and no problem with furniture, plants and people; - if they weight no more than 23kg even if the large dog in Rover is considered between 18-45kg. - if the booking is for a Day Care only. About: I’ve had dogs for over 10 years and genuinely love having them around. I’m especially experienced with calm, friendly dogs who enjoy a relaxed home environment and plenty of attention. I work from home, so your dog would have lots of company and would never be left alone for more than a couple of hours. My home is calm, structured, and caring — ideal for dogs who settle well and enjoy a peaceful atmosphere. I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, and tuning into each dog’s individual needs. I’m confident supporting good behaviour, gentle boundaries, and helping dogs feel safe and settled. Your dog would be treated like part of the family and cared for just as I care for my own. I work from home, so I’m around all day and able to give your dog plenty of attention, company, and care. Dogs would never be left alone for more than 2 hours at a time. I’m able to offer two walks per day, along with a consistent routine, playtime, and lots of affection. I’m flexible and available for boarding throughout the week and weekends. I have a secure, fully fenced garden, so your dog can safely enjoy outdoor time. My home is calm, structured, and set up to help dogs feel relaxed and settled. Our cockapoo Mabel is very friendly and enjoys the company of other dogs. That said, I also have space to keep dogs separate within the home if needed, so I can accommodate different needs and ensure everyone feels comfortable and safe.

About: Do you have a furry friend who needs some company during the day? I have worked as a freelance sitter on and off for the past ten years for a small group of clients, and am now looking to expand my customer base. I have a sweet lurcher, called Lenny, who loves to play. He is good at matching other dogs’ energy, and very sociable! I have experience caring for dogs of all sizes (Fromm Maltese to Mastiffs!) and am knowledgable about dog behaviour and body language. I work flexible hours during the week and work from home, so I can provide continuous care for your dog. Doggy day care includes one walk at midday, usually around 1hr but this can be tailored to your pet. My garden is fully fenced, mainly with 6ft fencing. There are a couple of spots that are 5ft tall, so let me know if your pup is an escape artist! For dog walking, all new dogs will be exercised on lead unless in a safely fenced location. Even dogs with great recall can sometimes have selective hearing with new people! For recurring bookings, we can discuss the safest way for your dog to be off lead if this is something you’d like. I typically provide 3 updates a day, so you can rest assured that your dog is in safe hands.
“Madeleine was great with Leo! She accepted a last-minute booking, was really flexible and kept me updated. Leo felt at ease and had plenty of exercise. I’d happily book her again!”

About: Hi! My name is Hannah (Yang) , and I am a passionate animal lover with years of experience caring for dogs. I’ve had the joy of raising three wonderful dogs in the past: Yanwo, Tony, and Yumi. Sadly, we lost Yumi when my children were only six months old, which led to us stepping back from having pets. However, my kids adore animals and are constantly begging me to bring a dog or cat into our home. While I’ve been hesitant to adopt a new pet due to the emotional loss we experienced, I’ve realized that hosting and caring for pets might be the perfect first step. I miss the companionship and joy that dogs bring, and I’m excited to offer a safe, loving environment for your furry family member. My children and I are eager to give your dog plenty of love and attention while you’re away, and we look forward to making them feel right at home. I also provide pick up and drop off service for areas within 1.5 miles with a small fee on top. If you're looking for someone to care for your pet with the same love and devotion as you do, I would be honored to be your go to sitter. Let’s chat and see how I can help take care of your fur baby! I work from home full-time with a very flexible schedule, allowing me to take regular breaks for walks to the local park or woods. I can take your pet for a walk every 3 to 4 hours throughout the day. When my children get home from school, they love joining me for the walks, ensuring your pet gets even more attention and exercise! I provide a safe and secure environment for your pet, starting with our fenced garden where they can play freely without any risk of getting out. Inside, we have a spacious living room perfect for your pet to relax and play. I also have a variety of pet toys to keep them entertained and engaged throughout the day. Your pet’s safety and comfort are my top priorities.
“Daniel was brilliant with my dog Archie. He met with us to answer any questions and meet Archie before we went on holiday so I knew we were leaving him in good hands for his morning walks. He dealt with Archie’s pulling brilliantly and Archie loved his walks and was calm all day after his walks with Daniel! Thank you so much!”

About: Hi! I'm a reliable, caring animal lover with plenty of experience looking after both dogs and cats, I have a dog and cat at home. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, and I'm happy to tailor my care to make them feel safe, happy, and comfortable. However, I'm available for drop-in visits, dog walking, and house sitting in your home, where your pets can stay relaxed in their familiar environment. I'm also happy to care for cats in your home. I have lots of experience with anxious dogs as I have one myself. I'll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can relax knowing your pets are in good hands. I will be around all day to walk your dog and help them with their daily routine, I can walk them around a schedule that suits the dog. I believe the best pet care starts with following each pet's normal routine as closely as possible. Before every booking, I like to learn about their feeding schedule, exercise needs, favourite activities, any medications, and anything that helps them feel comfortable. I will follow any guidance on how to look after your pets and use common sense at all times. For house sitting, I'll care for your pets in the comfort of their own home, helping to keep their routine consistent while you're away. I'll also take care of basic household tasks such as bringing in post, watering plants, and keeping your home tidy if requested.

I offer dedicated dog walking, drop-in visits, and overnight pet sitting. For High-Energy Dogs: I love hitting the trails for long, vigorous walks or runs to ensure your pup burns off that extra steam. For Seniors or Shy Pets: I’m experienced in providing gentle companionship and following specific medication or feeding schedules. Beyond Dogs: Thanks to my background, I am also very comfortable caring for cats, small mammals, and reptiles. I work full time but my job has a different schedule every month, and I've got plenty of days off during the week and some availability during work days. I get my schedule one month in advance so I can commit to long term bookings and I've always got some availability for last minute bookings. I'll take care of any pets as if they're my own. With all the care and love they'll need. I've got plenty of experience to know what they'll want to feel safe and comfortable.

About: I’m a student nurse who’s experienced in taking care of both people and pets. I have experience in looking after cats - I’ve lived with them since I was born. I have also lived with dogs that I have enjoyed helping take care of when they needed ( or when I’ve just needed a bit of company!) I am currently on holiday! In term time in a student paediatric nurse :) I’m just looking for something fun and bit different to do whilst I’m off. I’m really happy to chill at the pets house or take them for long walks! I will not be able to provide services at my home
About: I live in a friendly area of Bristol with a dog-friendly park on our doorstep. There's access to shorter, city walks and longer, more adventurous walks without the need of a car. If your dog is happy to travel, I would be happy to bring them with me on trips to the local beaches/hills or to see family and friends. I grew up with pets, have dog-sat for friends and family members over the last few years and have had positive feedback. If your dog has additional medical needs, please message as although I can't take every dog, I'm happy to have a discussion about accommodations I could make for them. I live an active lifestyle but as I work shifts, I will only take dogs when I'm able to be at home for them. A day at home is often a walk or run, seeing a friend or family member, then generally resting at home on the sofa I live in a house with an enclosed garden. I'm sorry but I can't take dogs that sleep in bed with their owner but I'm very happy to put a bed at the end of mine, crate them, or let them sleep wherever else it's comfy (including the sofa). I can take dogs with special diets but please provide some guidance on your dogs' needs
About: I've always had dogs in my life growing up and then when I had my own children I had to have a family dog too. I had my own working cocker spaniel for 13 years who has sadly crossed the rainbow bridge recently leaving a big void in our home. I would love to you with the care of your dog when needed and enjoy having the company of dogs again in our home. I work from home several days a week which will reflect in my availability I am hoping to build my availability over time as I build my online business combining my two passions of counselling services and caring for animals. I have a large fenced safe garden and access to several playing fields locally. Having owned my own dog for 13 years until recently I am well equipped at home to take care of others. Happy for dogs in any space of my home, cuddles on the sofa? Absolutely! Especially after a lovely walk in nature!
“Our puppy Evie loves spending time with Jacki! I feel really confident that Jacki takes excellent care of her and is always so easy to communicate with. Jacki has also given us lots of helpful tips and advice about raising our first puppy.”

“Shaun is always punctual & reliable. He keeps me posted with photos during his walks with Baffi. He is trying his best to get Baffi walking at ease down the park. Highly recommended.”

“Rosie is fab with our puppy, has lots of experience and takes our puppy out for walks when we’re not available. Updates us with pictures, plays games with our pup and reinforces training. Trustworthy and reliable”

About: We've had dogs all our life. We regularly look after a mix of cockapoos and Jack Russles for our close family (Bertie, Pepper, Goose and Peggy). Would love a dog of our own but lifestyle limits the consistent commitment. Laura, she works from home at the start and tail end of the week. Sam, he is often around on the weekends and evenings. We are very active people who love walks as well as cuddles. We have a fenced garden. Wood floors and a comfy sofa! Plenty of walking routes near by including open fields (if dog is ok off lead).
About: I joined Rover in 2022. I can't be more happier. I have a German Short-haired Pointer back home. I miss her so much so, spending time with others dogs help me a lot and keeps me busy. I have a fenced and long yard where pets can spent quality time. I am happy walking them around a couple of times per day. I work part time from home so i have plenty of time. I can boarding and receive visit everyday basically. I am quite flexible as well. Me and my boyfriend together take care of the dogs. So we both can easily manage ourselves to keep the dogs under control every time.
About: I am an animal lover and I have experience looking after both cats and dogs. I have had a mini English bull terrier and poodle mixes, and have been trusted to look after friend's and family's pets. I have a car and drivers licence so I can travel to and from your home easily.

“This was Tansy’s second overnight stay and she was excited to see Mark on arrival. She seemed very chilled and relaxed which was great to know as she can be a little anxious. We have another stay booked soon.”

“Absolutely brilliant, our little pooch seemed so relaxed and settled with Beth and Ross. Could not praise or rate them highly enough. Really put our minds at ease about leaving her with a sitter too! Will Absolutely be using again! Thank you both so much!”

“Found Sam, as needed some last minute dog sitting (change of our plans). Welcoming, Good Comms and Dogs were well settled. Very nice couple - happy to leave our dogs with them any time. Thank you.”
About: **Please note, as of November we are delighted to be welcoming our own Hungarian Vizsla. He will be 5 months from then and we are conducting extensive training to ensure he is as social as possible. Please factor this in when requesting from then on :) My wife and I adore dogs (any animals really!) We help our family and friends regularly with dog sitting or walks. We have recently moved into our home which has a large, safe and secure garden. Our home has plenty of fields/parks nearby or quieter side streets to suit your dog’s needs and preferences whilst out on walks. We can provide your dog with love and affection all day as we both work from home so there is no need to leave your family pet alone. We would love to help where we can! My wife Lauren and I work solely from home so we are always around. We are in our early 30’s so have plenty of energy to give your pet. Our home is safe and secure with a big garden. We are both active so walks will be no problem, whatever breed you have and the needs they require, we will ensure we meet them. We have a lot of love to give. We have a fully fenced garden with plenty of grass for them to run around. We have a spare bedroom to make your pet feel at home, or if they need to be kept in a crate overnight and would prefer being downstairs, that’s not a problem either as we have plenty of downstairs space. We can be adaptable to your pets needs.

“Both my dogs have had the best time with Laura. They have been well and truly looked after and spoilt. Staying with Laura it’s like home from home. Both of them were happy and content. Would 100 percent recommend Laura .”

“Stella has gone to Petra's for day care and always enjoyed herself, but last week was her first time boarding whilst we were away on holiday. It was so reassuring knowing that she was well cared for and loved whilst we were away. Petra provided daily updates and Stella always had another puppy friend to play with, which she absolutely loved. Stella was able to make herself more than comfortable and become part of Petra's family for the week, going on lob walks and spending time with her kids as well. Thanks Petra for taking such good care of Stella.”

Wally's already planning his next staycation with Aaron. Thank you so much and hopefully will see you again soon! :)”

“Sam and Laura were absolutely brilliant with our Labrador, Wilf. From the moment they met him, it was clear they had a natural way with dogs. We were kept updated with lovely messages and photos, which showed just how much fun he was having – plenty of walks, cuddles, and attention. In fact, when we came to pick him up, it was clear to see that he would have happily stayed longer! Their care and kindness were second to none, and we’ve already booked Wilf in for his next sleepover. Thank you, Sam and Laura – Wilf can’t wait to come back to his new besties!”
