“Natalie is amazing, can’t rate her high enough. She sent us regular photos & updates & walked Maffee daily. She also cleaned the house, stripped & washed all her bedding & even put it on line so it was all dry when we got home. We’ve used this site before but Natalie is absolutely the best. Thank you Natalie for looking after both Maffee & our home whilst we were away.”

“Lauren looked after our dog Teddy for a morning as he struggles with separation anxiety. We contacted Lauren and arranged a meet and greet and booked her in straight away! We knew from the meet and greet that she would be a perfect fit to look after Teddy, she is so lovely and made us feel completely at ease from the get go! We felt comfortable in her staying at our house and knew Teddy would be looked after☺️ we came home to a very happy boy and won’t hesitate in booking Lauren again!!”

About: I'm a certified Canine Behaviourist (BCCSDip.AdvCanBhv), dog trainer and experienced pet care professional. A former Kennels Volunteer with Happy Landings Animal Rescue, I have extensive experience with dogs of all shapes, sizes and backgrounds. I have two dogs of my own, including a 52kg formerly reactive rescue, therefore no problem with giant breeds or powerful pullers. I pride myself not only on providing a high standard of care but also professionalism and effective communication. You can rest assured that your pets will be looked after as if they were my own! I work part-time from home so have plenty of flexibility for pet sitting. Happy to do pop ins, walks and overnight stays. I'm generally available for short notice bookings so if in doubt, do ask! The safety, wellbeing and tail wags (or purrs!) of your pet are my highest priority. I'm also happy to undertake other tasks such as watering plants, taking in mail, turning lights on and off etc. to ensure your time away is as stress-free as possible.
“Tanley has been great with my little beagle, she house-sat with him for the weekend in February and left the place spotless. Had regular updates and returned to a happy pup. Great communication and would definitely recommend :) have already re-booked for whilst I'm on holiday for a few days. Thanks again Tanley!”

“Maya is lovely and our dogs loved her. She came to meet them before the stay which put my mind at rest as we’ve never had a sitter before. She updated me on how they were doing. Thanks Maya!”

“Christopher has been an amazing sitter. He’s a really nice person and really cared for our dogs. We had a lovely worry free weekend thanks to him. He sent photos over the weekend and our dogs were really happy and cared for. He was really considerate to our home and left it immaculate too! An absolute gem! Thanks Christopher we hope you will dog sit for us again in the future!!”

“Nina was the best. She came to house sit for the whole day. She had immediate rapport with Honey and sent photos through the day. Nina was attentive & reassuring so that i felt happy about giving responsibility over to her for my dog & house for the day. Honey was cared for really well. Highly recommended.”

“Pickle was so pleased to see Cherie, He had a great time, walked throughout the day and had fun in the doggie field, Cherie was very professional looking after Pickle, He sat by the door for a while when Cherie left, and slept loads from being worn out, I would recommend Cherie to anyone and have booked her again already.”

“Very happy to have found Frank! He’s super reliable and a lovely guy. He looked after our two cats, Shrimp and Miffy, for a few days and managed to win them both over—especially impressive since Miffy usually takes a while to warm up to new people. He also took great care of the house while we were away and even watered my tomatoes. Highly recommend!”

About: Hi, I’m Leah I started offering pet care in June, and since then I’ve really enjoyed getting to know lots of lovely dogs and pets and gaining hands-on experience caring for them. While I’m still relatively new to professional pet care, I’m reliable, caring and take the responsibility of looking after someone’s pet very seriously. I grew up with and cared for my own English Bulldog, who was 10 years old when she sadly passed away last year. She was a huge part of my life and helped me realise just how much I love caring for animals. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and have completed a dog first aid course, so your pet’s safety and wellbeing is always really important to me. I understand that every pet is different, so I take the time to learn their individual personality, routine and needs. Whether your pet needs a walk, a drop-in visit or overnight care, I’ll always treat them with patience, kindness and plenty of attention. I’m also happy to send regular photo updates so you can see how they’re getting on while you’re away. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pets and give them the care and attention they deserve! I currently work 26 hours a week over 4 days, so I have regular days and times available for pet care. I currently work: Tuesday 9:30-4 Wednesday 12-4 Thursday 8:45 - 5:30 Saturday 8:45-5:30 I’m happy to work around my schedule where possible and can offer walks, drop-in visits and overnight stays. I always make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, so your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep them comfortable and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding times, walks, medication and any other specific needs your pet has. I understand that leaving your pet and home with someone new can feel daunting, so I’m respectful of your space and take their safety and wellbeing seriously. I’m also happy to send regular photo and video updates so you can relax knowing your pets are happy and well cared for.
About: Growing up in country Australia I have been surrounded by all kinds of dogs from rescue greyhounds, senior citizens, and puppies my whole life. I have have a pooch of my own (a double doodle named Ffyn) and would love to take special care of your K9 family. I am experienced in house sitting, walking, and drop ins. I currently own a doodle puppy who would love the company of another dog, young or old. I work from home part of the week and my partner works from home full time. We live in a cottage in the countryside with easy access to beautiful forest and field walks, and have a very comfortable sofa for your pooch to relax on after a nice walk. We have a fully fenced garden and outdoor area. The house with its thick stone walls stays lovely and cool in hot weather where the dogs love to relax inside.
“Danielle looked after our two dogs, a 6th old puppy and 18yr old. She was amazing, prompt replys, communication was brilliant and made us feel relaxed that the dogs were well cared for. The dogs had a great time, very relaxed in their own home. Thank you so much Danielle”
“Seb and Fra were sensational!! Would thoroughly recommend them and will definitely use them again. Cedric loved them and they treated him and our house with such care and respect. Thank you Seb and Fra!”

I’d love to help care for your furry family members! About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense
About: My whole childhood involved Dogs, I have also looked after several friends dogs due to my job being home based and flexible on times. I came across Rover as I was seeking a House Sitter and decided that I can give back. I have 2 dogs myself who are all friendly and have different needs due to their ages so can be tailored to your dogs requirements. I work from home and have flexible hours. I have a large garden that dogs can go in and out of the house as they please. We have a field next door which is great for a 25 /35 minute walk. I tend to run my two younger dogs and then a slow plod for my eldest. I have helped various neighbours with their dogs for days as my work is home based and flexible for your dogs and requirements can cater for all.

“Desiree was quick to respond to my short notice for a weekend dogsitter. She arranged a meet and greet promptly and Willow took to her immediately. I can recommend Desiree with confidence.”

About: We’ve always had pets including, dogs, cats, chickens, ferrets, reptiles and rodents just to name a few. Because of this I absolutely adore animals and enjoy meeting each personality, we’ve taken in older animals for their last stretch on this side and rescued plenty of fiesty babies who become beautiful happy babies. My whole family just loves animals, because of this whilst I’m at university in Plymouth I thought what better way to reduce how much I miss my babies than to look after others. I’m going into my second year at Plymouth and found missing my animals was a huge adjustment so I hope this will bridge the gap for myself. For the last six years I have been looking after neighbours and friends animals when they go on holiday or have an emergency and truly enjoy spending time with them as well as looking after them. Hopefully I can do the same in Plymouth. Im currently going into my second year at university in Plymouth with a changeable but low course load. This means that I am available for plenty of time with your pet be that toilet breaks and some loving or house sitting with them or taking them on a walk when needed. I’m looking forward to exploring some new areas and I believe there’s some English heritage places I haven’t been to yet! Because I am staying in halls I am unable to care for pets in my home however I would be happy house/pet sitting when I would only have to leave for university lectures which tend to be 2 hours long (plus commuting)

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Axbridge
Jay was absolutely amazing, she saved us at the last minute when another sitter cancelled on us, and we can’t recommend her enough. She was amazing with Harley, who warmed to her straight away, and sent loads of pictures and videos while we were away. I’m a bit of a worrier but I felt so confident with Jay and was able to really enjoy my holiday as I was so happy Harley was being looked after brilliantly. She also left the house super tidy. Absolutely amazing experience!
Natalie was absolutely fantastic while looking after our French Bulldog, Delilah, for a full week. She stayed in our home, kept everything spotless, and cared for Delilah as if she were her own. We received regular updates and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Delilah was clearly very happy, relaxed, and well‑looked‑after. I would recommend Natalie to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring dog sitter, and we will definitely be using her again in the future.
