About: I grew up with two border collies. I helped care for them from pups to seniors. I don't have that many photos of me and them together or me and any pet together as I was a bit camera shy. I completely understand what it takes and how much our animals mean to us. From feeding them twice to three times a day, to the hours upon hours of walking I did with them by my side. I really learnt what it was like to care and look after pets. Young and old. I was in control of dog sledging team last winter. Competeing in races and casual sledging. I worked with my mother who fostered a puppy when our dog was senior, so I understand the difference in age and what is required with each stage of an animals life. Catering my experience to whatever stage your pet is at. I am an avid hiker and love taking dogs with me. I have been left friends dogs and cats to feed while they were away. Overall I just love animals. I am very flexible around dates and times. On an average week I will have 2-3 days i can dedicate to your pet. It will take a bit of organizing but I am sure that I can fit around your schedule. I like to listen to the pet owners about their pets, as I believe they know them best. I look to find out all i can about a dog before walks. If I am too come to your home. I like to know if the pet is on any medication. If there is any strict rules the pet follows (like not being allowed in bedrooms) after all it's the pets home. I'm just a visitor. Overall I like to get a sense of the animal and the situation I am coming into.

About: Have always had a dog either within the family or as my own companion. I am now retired and looking for flexible work doing what I enjoy and so walking with a dog or two seems like a good place to start a new chapter. Especially when you can hand it back to the owner when tired (Like grandchildren). I'm retired and so available 7 days a week from early morning to late evening as required. Unless if I have something else booked. When walking your dog they will be kept on the lead and walked at their pace. I will need to discuss their needs and habits with you to stop me being dragged in to local sausage sellers shop.

About: I’m Lauren, an outdoorsey freelance medical writer and experienced dog sitter living in Somerset. I love hiking, running, exploring in the campervan with my partner Kevin, and of course dogs! I grew up with two springer spaniels so I have been a dog person as long as I can remember. I’m currently a self-employed cleaner and I'm looking for extra work in the week, this gives me time to do drop ins, or take your dog for a lovely stroll. I will provide a calm and loving environment for your pet to enjoy their visit with us. I have an enclosed back garden to give your pets a safe and secure outdoor space if required. You're more than welcome to visit our home to see if we have the appropriate environment for your pet prior to booking.
About: I grew up with two border collies. I helped care for them from pups to seniors. I don't have that many photos of me and them together or me and any pet together as I was a bit camera shy. I completely understand what it takes and how much our animals mean to us. From feeding them twice to three times a day, to the hours upon hours of walking I did with them by my side. I really learnt what it was like to care and look after pets. Young and old. I was in control of dog sledging team last winter. Competeing in races and casual sledging. I worked with my mother who fostered a puppy when our dog was senior, so I understand the difference in age and what is required with each stage of an animals life. Catering my experience to whatever stage your pet is at. I am an avid hiker and love taking dogs with me. I have been left friends dogs and cats to feed while they were away. Overall I just love animals. I am very flexible around dates and times. On an average week I will have 2-3 days i can dedicate to your pet. It will take a bit of organizing but I am sure that I can fit around your schedule. I like to listen to the pet owners about their pets, as I believe they know them best. I look to find out all i can about a dog before walks. If I am too come to your home. I like to know if the pet is on any medication. If there is any strict rules the pet follows (like not being allowed in bedrooms) after all it's the pets home. I'm just a visitor. Overall I like to get a sense of the animal and the situation I am coming into.
About: I have volunteered in a dog grooming salon and dog-sat for various owners for around 6 years, as well as helping out at a local kennel walking the dogs. I also have 2 family dogs who I regularly look after. I am currently at university with optional attendance so can be very flexible and be available to the needs of the dog and their owners. I have a fenced garden and a park a short distance away for walking them. I have an enclosed lounge area which space in which they can play in. Certain dogs will also be allowed to be on the sofas and on beds.
About: Growing up in country Australia I have been surrounded by all kinds of dogs from rescue greyhounds, senior citizens, and puppies my whole life. I have have a pooch of my own (a double doodle named Ffyn) and would love to take special care of your K9 family. I am experienced in house sitting, walking, and drop ins. I currently own a doodle puppy who would love the company of another dog, young or old. I work from home part of the week and my partner works from home full time. We live in a cottage in the countryside with easy access to beautiful forest and field walks, and have a very comfortable sofa for your pooch to relax on after a nice walk. We have a fully fenced garden and outdoor area. The house with its thick stone walls stays lovely and cool in hot weather where the dogs love to relax inside.

I always make sure I only accept bookings that I can fully commit to, so your pet gets the time, attention and care they deserve. When caring for pets in their own home, I always aim to keep them comfortable and maintain their normal routine as much as possible. I’ll follow your instructions carefully, including feeding times, walks, medication and any other specific needs your pet has. I understand that leaving your pet and home with someone new can feel daunting, so I’m respectful of your space and take their safety and wellbeing seriously.
