“Rob and his family looked after Eddy really well. He set up a WhatsApp group for us so we could see what Eddy was up to and we were able to visit beforehand to make sure Eddy would be a good fit. He and his family were really relaxed with Eddy and Eddy looked happy and healthy on his return to us. Eddy’s been really calm and settled coming home so he must have enjoyed his holiday. Rob and his family were also very flexible about drop off and pick up and communicated well with us throughout. We can’t thank them enough.”

“We were so pleased to find Zak, and him and Theo really seemed to get on right from the initial meeting. We'll definitely be booking Theo in to stay with Zak again soon :)”

She gave us regular updates on how Bonnie was doing and sent some lovely photos too. Would definitely recommend Liz!”

“Deborah was amazing with Jessie. She really put my mind at ease whilst I was out of the country knowing she was in good hands. Will definitely book with her again in the future.”

“Bonita looked after my lively young dog (5-month-old Chihuahua / Jack Russell cross) brilliantly. I was worried about leaving him as he is quite young but she kept him safe and happy, keeping up continuity with his routines at home. My dog got on very well with her little dog and they had a lot of fun together. She kept in touch with me providing regular updates and photos which was very reassuring. He came home happy and well. Thanks so much Bonita.”

Her large garden was perfect for relaxing. Communication was excellent throughout the stay—highly recommend Kate for anyone looking for a loving home environment!”

Gained extensive hands-on experience through owning and caring for my own cat, as well as looking after cats for others. Followed pet owners’ instructions regarding routines, dietary needs, and medications when required. Maintained a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for pets while in my care.

“Kim visited our house to meet our kitten and learn about her needs demonstrating real interest and care for our pet. She attended our property at the agreed time and was thoughtful to suggest with us that she leave lights on etc to create a suggestion of being home whilst we were away. Great to receive some photos and we returned for find a happy kitty and everything popped away and tidy after her being fed etc. A great service and will definitely use again”

“Chris was great, she stepped in at short notice and even looked after our plants in a heat wave! We had photos of both cats and they were happy on our return. Would ask for Chris again. 🐱🐱”

About: I had my Reggie from the age of 12 weeks old until he was 15+ years old. He loved attention from people but did not like the company of other cats. He had been through several surgeries in his lifetime so I am experienced in post-surgery care and administering medication orally. He was very much a lap cat and slept on our bed most nights. He tolerated most dogs we boarded and kept himself to himself.

“Alice was excellent and we will definitely be rebooking with her in the future if we can. We had plenty of updates and she had our two shy cats competing for snuggles on her lap by the end of her time caring for them (so 5 stars from them too!)”

“Sara is very pleasant and clearly loves cats. We could see that she had given Chester lots of attention and food because he was very relaxed and happy when we came home from our holiday. All her communications with us were excellent and she looked after our home well. I would not hesitate to book her again. Highly recommended. ”

“We knew as soon as we met Carrie she was the right fit for looking after our moggie. Pixel was still very nervous after a recent house move and Carrie was so patient and gave us lots of reassurance and updates while we were away. We wouldn't hesitate to use Carrie again.”

About: I started my Veterinary Nursing training at 18 and have been passionate about animal care ever since. I trained in an animal shelter practice, where I gained extensive experience caring for cats with a wide range of personalities, temperaments, and medical needs. Since qualifying, I have gone on to become an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse and now work as a Nursing Manager at a large Veterinary Referral Hospital. I am certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support/CPR and am confident administering all types of medication, including injections. Alongside my professional veterinary experience, I have always had a love for cats and understand how important it is for them to feel safe, comfortable, and relaxed in their home environment. I have cared for cats for neighbours, friends, family, and clients, including those requiring specialist medical care and extra patience and attention. I am calm, compassionate, and attentive, and I always aim to provide the highest standard of care, cuddles, and companionship while you are away. “100% pleased and happy with Anna. Cant give enough praise, allowed me to enjoy my two days away without worrying about how poppy is coping. Don't think she missed me for a second. definitely will be asking Anna again Sent lovely photos to me absolutely delighted with Anna's pop ins”

About: I grew up with two border collies. I helped care for them from pups to seniors. I don't have that many photos of me and them together or me and any pet together as I was a bit camera shy. I completely understand what it takes and how much our animals mean to us. From feeding them twice to three times a day, to the hours upon hours of walking I did with them by my side. I really learnt what it was like to care and look after pets. Young and old. I was in control of dog sledging team last winter. Competeing in races and casual sledging. I worked with my mother who fostered a puppy when our dog was senior, so I understand the difference in age and what is required with each stage of an animals life. Catering my experience to whatever stage your pet is at. I am an avid hiker and love taking dogs with me. I have been left friends dogs and cats to feed while they were away. Overall I just love animals. I am very flexible around dates and times. On an average week I will have 2-3 days i can dedicate to your pet. It will take a bit of organizing but I am sure that I can fit around your schedule. I like to listen to the pet owners about their pets, as I believe they know them best. I look to find out all i can about a dog before walks. If I am too come to your home. I like to know if the pet is on any medication. If there is any strict rules the pet follows (like not being allowed in bedrooms) after all it's the pets home. I'm just a visitor. Overall I like to get a sense of the animal and the situation I am coming into.

“Amirah and her husband Ben are amazing with our dog! They live in a wonderful home which is safe for pets and will always provide updates daily on their visit. We wouldn’t send out dog anywhere else!”

About: Had family pets throughout my life and have cared for and walked my friend’s and family’s dogs when needed. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch if you have any questions! 🐾 I’m currently working shifts so have plenty of time to care for your doggo! I’m an early bird, who loves being outdoors. I’m usually out running on the mendips or down the strawberry line. I have a large dog-proof garden with plenty of room to run and play. There are no dogs living at my home so can cater for reactive or nervous dogs too!

About: Hi, I’m Catharine, a Lancashire lass now living in Weston-super-Mare with my partner, Tom. We’re both huge animal lovers and would love to look after your pet 🐾 We live in a detached house with a secure, fully fenced garden, and because we both work from home, your pet will have plenty of company, attention, and cuddles throughout the day. We don’t currently have pets (or children!) of our own as we’re still settling into our first home after recently moving. We’d love a pet of our own one day, but for now we’re more than happy being the people friends and family call when they need someone to look after theirs. We genuinely love having animals around the house. I’ve been animal mad for as long as I can remember. Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs and cats, but my soul dog, Sandie, was extra special. He lived to the amazing age of 19 and was a huge part of my family. We had an especially close bond in his senior years when he became less mobile and relied on me a lot for comfort. Caring for him taught me so much about patience, empathy, and understanding an animal’s individual needs. I’ve done obedience training and even dog dancing with one of my previous dogs, so I’m comfortable with all sorts of personalities, routines, and energy levels. Our home is very peaceful, and we do our best to make every pet feel relaxed and safe. Whether your dog loves long walks, playing in the garden, or snoozing on the sofa after a busy day, they’ll get plenty of love and attention while they’re with us. I know how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I promise to care for them as if they were my own and to make sure they’re happy, comfortable, and well looked after from the moment they arrive. Please don’t hesitate to message me if you have questions :) I can adapt to your dog’s usual routine to help them feel comfortable and settled. I work from home and can be quite flexible with my work. When caring for pets in my home, I make sure they have a safe, calm and comfortable environment where they feel part of the family. We have a secure garden for supervised outdoor time, and dogs will receive plenty of attention, affection, playtime and walks throughout the day. I always follow owners’ routines and preferences to help pets feel settled and at home.
“Teresa was very professional & friendly in her approach. She checked what Cai liked / didn't like when we met the week before our booking at the intro meeting. Her own dog was friendly and they both got on well together. Cai was happy & tired when we collected him having been well exercised and had a good time in her care. Recommended.”

About: Have always had a dog either within the family or as my own companion. I am now retired and looking for flexible work doing what I enjoy and so walking with a dog or two seems like a good place to start a new chapter. Especially when you can hand it back to the owner when tired (Like grandchildren). I'm retired and so available 7 days a week from early morning to late evening as required. Unless if I have something else booked. When walking your dog they will be kept on the lead and walked at their pace. I will need to discuss their needs and habits with you to stop me being dragged in to local sausage sellers shop.
About: I have been working with animals since I have been 17 and I just love the way every dog is different and I enjoy going out with walks and feeding them every morning my own dogs have their own set routine in the morning I am currently not working at the moment so I have seven days a week to look after any other animals and any sort of animals I have worked in kennels before and had to stay there overnight to make sure all the animals were safe and fastened into that tense
About: My first pet was a cat when i was 7 and it lived 21 years. I have always loved pets and now have a 6 year old Tibetan Terrier who is great around other dogs. I work from home so am able to give your pet company and attention. My garden is completely walled in so your dog is able to go in and out as they please. I work from home and there is always someone in to keep your pet company. I walk my dog every lunchtime and evening down the strawberry line or in the fields so they are well exercised. I have a fairly large house with a walled garden and wooden floors downstairs. I also have a friendly 4yr Tibetan terrier for company. There are dog beds and a sofa with blankets on.
“We needed to make a last minute trip to a place where dogs weren’t allowed. Looking at everyone on Rover, Jasmine stood out to us because of her experience with dogs especially as she works at the vets! We messaged very early and she replied very quickly, more than happy to help us out! Dropped her off and had pictures sent to show she was happy and even the pick up was good, we had Rosie back very happy! We will defiantly use Jasmine again if we are back in the area 10/10”

“This day care appointment was a trail run, seeing how our Cozette would behave for Rachel and also to see whether she seemed happy and relaxed before we booked a longer stay. Our experience was very good. Cozette seemed right at home and we will be booking a longer stay soon.”

“Teddy's daycare with Fran was everything we could have asked for. She sent us pictures during the day and Teddy looks to have had a great time on a walk in the woods with other dogs. He seemed reluctant to say goodbye! Will definitely be using Fran again. Thank you!”

“Ryan and Rebecca looked after my dog on fairly short notice, found the time to do a meeting and greet before hand and were both extremely friendly and easy to deal with. Arguably more importantly, they were excellent with the dog, showed a real interest and care and sent me multiple photos of her throughout the day. Throughly recommend and would absolutely use again.”

“My little guy had an absolute blast getting cuddles and pottering around with his new canine crew! I got regular updates during the day that he was doing well and each night collected a very happy, tired doggo!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs through family pets for many years, and for the past three years I’ve been the proud owner of two dogs, Teddy and Aya. They’re both energetic, loving, and very social dogs who keep me active and on my toes every day. Caring for Teddy and Aya has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic training, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable in my care. They love being around other dogs and especially enjoy playtime, so your pup will always have friendly company. While my experience hasn’t been professional, I truly love dogs of all breeds and sizes and treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m excited to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care and make sure your dog feels happy and at home while you’re away. I’m always happy to send updates, photos, and messages while you’re away so you can see how your dog is doing and feel at ease. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I treat every dog with the same care and love I give my own. I currently work part-time from home, which allows me plenty of time to give your puppy lots of attention, care, and play throughout the day. I’m available Monday through Saturday and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. I have a fenced front porch as well as a garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, dogs are welcome to relax freely and be included in daily activities. At night, I usually allow dogs to sleep in the bed with me for comfort and companionship, but I’m also happy to use a crate if that’s what your dog is used to or if you prefer. I always follow the pet owner’s instructions regarding routines, sleeping arrangements, feeding, and care to ensure your pet feels at home and well cared for.
“Absolutely excellent. Contacted Brian at pretty short notice as we were down in Somerset for a few days and he was very happy to accept our booking despite having made arrangements for his own Sunday evening. Brian and his wife were very accommodating and allowed us to leave our dogs with them until 7:00pm. Lovely house and great facilities for your pets. Highly recommended.”

Looking after him has given me experience with daily walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and making sure he feels happy and comfortable. I work from home for most of the week, so your dog will have plenty of company and attention throughout the day. I also have a spacious three-bedroom home with a large, secure enclosed garden where your dog can safely play, explore, and relax. I’d be more than happy to arrange a meet and greet before any booking, so you and your dog can get to know me and make sure I’m the right fit. About: 📍 Currently actively booking for mid August to mid September 2026 with very flexible availability 📍 Hey there, my name is Rebecca! I'm a 27 year old vet student and pet sitter. I have lots of great experience with a variety of species through my vet training and life in general! I have been involved in both the cattery and dog shelter of the Galway SPCA. I also worked closely with small mammals, and rescued my colleagues from a loose ferret once! I discovered a love of sighthounds in particular and always really enjoy working with them. I have been casually pet sitting for the past five years, until last year when I began using another app that was popular in my area. I had several regular dog visit/ walk clients - new puppies to the more mature. I am happy to do on and off-lead walking, where appropriate and safe. I will follow instructions on whatever training you are working on with your pet. I am confident administering medication. Unfortunately, I cannot accept very strong or difficult to handle dogs due to chronic back pain. I would be keen to build a trusting relationship with any pet I care for and strive for respectful and honest communication with pet owners. I give pets my full attention and aim to leave them tuckered out but happy! I send a detailed update after my visit including some photos. I'm always careful to include any concerns. ✅ Please Note: House Sitting: I am not currently staying overnight in client’s houses. This option is suitable if you would like to have me sit with your pet during the day/evening, while at work or socialising. Please get in touch to discuss! 😊 Boarding/Day Care: I live in an apartment which has a small balcony and unfenced patio space - suitable for quick potty breaks. There are lots of easily accessible nice walks in the area for longer exercise. Walks: Available to pick up/drop off and supervise visits to local secure dog paddocks. My Uni schedule varies each week but I will aim to keep my calendar as updated as possible. I am keen to build a base of regular/semi-regular clients, having recently moved back to North Somerset. There are times when I am required on-campus 9am-5pm but I do my best to be flexible. Do get in touch if there's anything you'd like to discuss - I'm more than happy to answer any queries 😁 I am always careful entering and exiting the house to prevent any escapes. I diligently use any equipment or restraint advised by owners to keep everyone safe. I always do my best to read an animals behaviour so as not to cross their boundaries and ensure everyone is as safe and happy as possible during the visit. I welcome owner advice about individual pets as they usually know their animal best!

About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

“We were so pleased to find Zak, and him and Theo really seemed to get on right from the initial meeting. The consistent photos and messages we received from Zak while we were away really put us at ease, knowing that Theo was enjoying himself - spending most of his time snoozing from the sounds of it! We'll definitely be booking Theo in to stay with Zak again soon :)”
