About: I recently said goodbye to my dog after 16 and a half years so have experience of caring for a puppy through to a very senior dog. During that time, i often relied on the services of a sitter or doggy day care so I understand the importance of knowing your pet is in safe hands whilst you’re away. I’ve grown up with both dogs and cats as family pets and, in recent years, looked after my mother’s cat when needed. For all pet care services (walking; sitting; drop-in) I offer, it will be me providing the service. As a recently retired teacher, I’m available to pet sit locally on a full time basis. I don’t have my own pet now so have quite a lot of flexibility. I will follow the advice you give on walks, feeding times/ amounts and likes/ dislikes to help maintain routine as much as possible. I would prefer to care for your pet(s) in your own home as I think it minimises the stress for them. However, I would consider small dogs to stay at our house for a short amount of time. We don’t have any pets. I enjoy walking in the country if this is something your pet(s) like too.

About: I have a lifetime of experience in cat care and six years of dedicated rabbit care. Additionally, I have provided reliable dog walking and sitting services since I was 8 years old, Including teaching basic tricks and working on leash manners. Caring for pets is something I do because I truly enjoy it, and it's one of my favourite ways to spend my free time. My experience comes from growing up with pets, as well as around 10 years of caring for animals in both my own home and other people's homes. When it comes to walks for dogs, I'll always follow your guidance on the frequency and length that best suits your dog. I'm an active person and love long walks and adventures, but I'm just as happy with shorter, gentler strolls if that's what your pet prefers. I own a comfortable apartment where I'm able to provide a safe, calm environment for cat care. To ensure every cat receives my full attention, I only care for one at a time (unless there are two cats from the same household). I don't have a garden or cat flap. If I'm caring for your pet in your home, you can be confident that I'll treat both your pet and your home with respect, leaving everything just as I found it. I have 2 friendly dogs to keep your pet company but will only take one dog into my home at any one time, so you can be assured they will get lots of love and attention. I am happy to accommodate a crate for your dog to sleep in, if that is their routine, and I am at home during the day for multiple toilet pit-stops and lots of attention.

About: I grew up with animals of all sorts in Kenya, and have had various pets throughout my life: dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, tortoises, fish, and a giant snail. My last dog (boxer) was a family pet, which I trained from a puppy, and cared for until she grew old. My cats came to me as kittens and lived long happy lives with me. I've looked after friends' and neighbours' dogs, walking, playing with them, and having them overnight or for several days at a time. I have a large garden in rural Somerset - perfectly suited for dogs. I love all animals! I am a freelance artist, and work mainly from home. I can offer many hours of company in the daytime, and am always at home overnight. I wake early so the morning feed and walk is easily done. I have a large spacious fenced garden, in a rural village in Somerset. I keep pets downstairs to roam freely in the sitting room and kitchen. I can crate your pet if needed, when I go out.
