“Pickle was so pleased to see Cherie, He had a great time, walked throughout the day and had fun in the doggie field, Cherie was very professional looking after Pickle, He sat by the door for a while when Cherie left, and slept loads from being worn out, I would recommend Cherie to anyone and have booked her again already.”

About: I'm a gap year student based in Wells with a genuine love for animals of all kinds. I am comfortable and confident caring for dogs of all sizes, cats, rodents, birds, reptiles, and aquatic animals, with past experience. I have completed dog walking work experience, volunteered with the RSPCA, and have experience training and caring for my own pets as well as friends’ animals. I’m currently on a gap year, so I have a very flexible schedule and am available every day of the week for pet sitting, walks, and drop-in visits. I always aim to create a calm, safe, and comfortable environment for every pet in my care. I’m happy to follow any routines, feeding schedules, or special requirements, and I am happy to provide regular updates and photos for extra peace of mind.
About: I am very caring and can provide lots of attention. I love to run and be active outside of work playing football and going to the gym and doing lots of cardio with running and walking. Will be able to take the animals on lots of long walks with my ultra and marathon history. I work Monday - Thursday 8am - 5pm in an office but this can be done from home. I always have Fridays, Saturday & Sundays free and have easy transport with owning a car. I will ensure it is always as you left it and keep the house clean and respected. I will ensure to treat any home I am in like I would my own and respect and look after everything.

“Great communication and meeting prior to the booking. Frequent photos and updates whilst away and everyone looked very happy and settled. We came back to happy animals and a house like how we left it. Would definitely recommend Tess!”

About: I grew up with animals of all sorts in Kenya, and have had various pets throughout my life: dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, tortoises, fish, and a giant snail. My last dog (boxer) was a family pet, which I trained from a puppy, and cared for until she grew old. My cats came to me as kittens and lived long happy lives with me. I've looked after friends' and neighbours' dogs, walking, playing with them, and having them overnight or for several days at a time. I have a large garden in rural Somerset - perfectly suited for dogs. I love all animals! I am a freelance artist, and work mainly from home. I can offer many hours of company in the daytime, and am always at home overnight. I wake early so the morning feed and walk is easily done. I have a large spacious fenced garden, in a rural village in Somerset. I keep pets downstairs to roam freely in the sitting room and kitchen. I can crate your pet if needed, when I go out.
“Kim was absolutely fantastic. Not least because one of our cats had a lot of medication that he needed to take than we had discussed because of a progression in his skin condition. The cats were well looked after and very happy on our return. She let us know when any medication needed to be ordered and the house was exactly as we left it.”

“Absolutely fantastic service. We found ourselves in a bit of a last-minute bind with our new puppy, and Veronika couldn’t have been more helpful. She took the time to put us completely at ease, even coming over for a pre-visit chat—despite our rescheduling and general back-and-forth. Any initial hesitation on our part quickly disappeared. She’s a genuinely kind and compassionate person with a clear love for animals. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her.”

“How lovely Hannah was. I felt so confident in leaving my two dogs Luna and Ernie with Hannah Hannah was so professional and my dogs loved her as soon as she walked through the door. I felt so happy to leave my dogs in her care and actually they didn’t give me a second glance as I left to celebrate my daughter’s wedding So great to come back from the celebrations to see both dogs happy and relaxed and slept well all night Couldn’t recommend Hannah enough First time ever using the Rover service and definitely not the last Thank you Hannah xx”

“Oh my goodness Christine was absolutely amazing with Bertie, we did a meet & greet a week before which was perfect as Bert remembered her when she arrived! I got so many updates I didn’t have to worry about him once, I came home to a lovely calm dog who had clearly had the best day with his new bestie”

“Evan was great. I needed someone to look after my little guy for 2-3 days at the last minute, and Evan was able to help out, and did a great job. Pickle made a buddy and Evan left my place as he found it. I’ll definitely use Evan again and would recommend him to others.”

“Monika was an excellent dog and house sitter. Very clear and quick communication right from the start. She had a lovely rapport with our 2 year old Cockapoo from the first moment she met him. Monika looked after our house really well including washing all the bed sheets - hers and ours, without being asked, and re-dressing the beds for our return. Highly recommend. Thank you Monika”

“Edita was great with our 2 year old fluff ball! She took excellent care of him for a week and the house was left immaculate. She sent us regular updates and photos, so we knew he was happy and having a great time! Edita was super flexible in arranging an initial meet and greet and staying with our boy until our delayed flight landed back in the UK. Would 1000% recommend and welcome her back again, which we know our pup would enjoy too!”

“Lauren looked after our dog Teddy for a morning as he struggles with separation anxiety. We contacted Lauren and arranged a meet and greet and booked her in straight away! We knew from the meet and greet that she would be a perfect fit to look after Teddy, she is so lovely and made us feel completely at ease from the get go! We felt comfortable in her staying at our house and knew Teddy would be looked after☺️ we came home to a very happy boy and won’t hesitate in booking Lauren again!!”
