About: Hi I’m Fran and am passionate about providing a fun and loving care experience for your beloved pets. We have nurtured rescue cats and dogs over many years. Rabbits, rats, gerbils and tortoises have also been part of our little menagerie. Animals have always been part of our family life and our home is feeling a little empty now the children have flown the nest and Kitty left us for cat heaven recently. Myself and husband can offer a roomy, quiet home from home, with an enclosed garden. I can offer home stays, home visits, daily walking please feel free discuss you and your pets needs; as I’m super flexible. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they'll be treated as if they were my own. I’ll provide clear communication, so you'll receive regular updates on your pet's well-being while you're away. Whether it's ensuring they get their medications, exercise, or cuddle time, I'm committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. I’m currently at home full time, so have space and time to look after your pets needs with my full attention. My husband also works from home, so someone is about even if I have to pop to the shop. Can offer cuddles and hugs for any other animals that need the care whilst you’re away, happy to discuss. I can work with you to tailor care in our home, or at yours. I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional walks, day or overnight care. We have a fully enclosed garden, plenty of space at home, a car for visits and doggy days out.

The app is brilliant, I would say that after doing a long shift at work and leaving my house cat alone for that long always leaves me feeling uneasy but being new to the area, I couldn't ask anyone to just drop in. Trilby has been introduced to a new friend whilst I'm at work and its gone amazingly. The photo updates were very lovely and gave me piece of mind at work! Definitely worth doing again and has given me confidence to think re. Future plans about possibly having a house sitting booking 😊 thank you. About: I grew up with animals of all sorts in Kenya, and have had various pets throughout my life: dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, tortoises, fish, and a giant snail. My last dog (boxer) was a family pet, which I trained from a puppy, and cared for until she grew old. My cats came to me as kittens and lived long happy lives with me. I've looked after friends' and neighbours' dogs, walking, playing with them, and having them overnight or for several days at a time. I have a large garden in rural Somerset - perfectly suited for dogs. I love all animals! I am a freelance artist, and work mainly from home. I can offer many hours of company in the daytime, and am always at home overnight. I wake early so the morning feed and walk is easily done. I have a large spacious fenced garden, in a rural village in Somerset. I keep pets downstairs to roam freely in the sitting room and kitchen. I can crate your pet if needed, when I go out.

About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

About: I have taken care of dogs for way over 8 years for friends, family and local people to me. From walking to bathing, to feeding and cuddles. I love it all, and love spending overnight time with my furry friends I am currently working part time so have a lot of time for my fury friends, with availability to do overnight stays any days of the week. I am very cautious of keeping my fury friends in sight at all times and granted their and their owners wishes for their routines, as well as ensure they get plenty of fun exercise and cuddles

About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats for 5+ years, plus having pets growing up taught me a lot. References available on request. I have lovely clients and I adore all the pets I get to visit and spend time with :) I’m Self-Employed so am pretty flexible. I currently work from home so scheduling shouldn’t really be a problem. About: I started my Veterinary Nursing training when I was 18 years old and have not looked back since! I trained at an animal shelter practice and therefore have a good understanding of dogs with individual needs and temperaments. I have since qualified as an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse and now work as a Nursing Manager at a Large Veterinary Referral Hospital. I am certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support/CPR and am happy administering all types of medications including injections. In addition to my extensive Veterinary experience I have also grown up with dogs and love to care and support them in all stages of their lives! I have been trusted by neighbours, friends, family and clients to look after their dogs before, even those with very advanced medical conditions and I am therefore comfortable caring for dogs that have a range of training and medical needs. About: I have taken care of 2 of my own dogs and 2 cats as, as well as volunteering my local dog kennel charity to help with walking and feeding. I have been on Rover for almost 2 years now and have taken care of many different breeds, shapes, sizes, disabilities and energy levels. I have lots of experience with walking small and large sized dog on short and long walks, feeding when needed, bathing them and ensuring they are all happy, whilst prioritising their wellbeing. My dog, Pecan (passed in 2023) had his leg amputated so I am also used to helping pets with disabilities and I can easily accommodate for any medical issues. I am able to accommodate for any requirements with mornings, afternoons and evenings being the most applicable for my personal schedule. I will prioritise the wellbeing of all pets in my care and make sure they have been taken out enough for toilet breaks, walks and general play time outside. I will always make sure that pets get enough love and attention as this is a priority for me to ensure that all pets are happy. I find it hard to not treat any pet in my care like my own so they will definitely get loads of cuddles and attention. I am able to go take dogs on a variety of length walks as I am a very active person and I love being outdoors. I’m currently working remotely from home so I have lots of time to take care of any pets! Either at home care or on walks, anything suits my schedule as I create my own daily routine. I have a medium sized fenced garden so lots of space to run around if house sitting. I have lots of experience with keeping active dogs entertained, as well has looking after more relaxed dogs as well.
