About: Hi I’m Fran and am passionate about providing a fun and loving care experience for your beloved pets. We have nurtured rescue cats and dogs over many years. Rabbits, rats, gerbils and tortoises have also been part of our little menagerie. Animals have always been part of our family life and our home is feeling a little empty now the children have flown the nest and Kitty left us for cat heaven recently. Myself and husband can offer a roomy, quiet home from home, with an enclosed garden. I can offer home stays, home visits, daily walking please feel free discuss you and your pets needs; as I’m super flexible. When you entrust your pets to me, you can rest assured that they'll be treated as if they were my own. I’ll provide clear communication, so you'll receive regular updates on your pet's well-being while you're away. Whether it's ensuring they get their medications, exercise, or cuddle time, I'm committed to maintaining their routines and keeping them happy. I’m currently at home full time, so have space and time to look after your pets needs with my full attention. My husband also works from home, so someone is about even if I have to pop to the shop. Can offer cuddles and hugs for any other animals that need the care whilst you’re away, happy to discuss. I can work with you to tailor care in our home, or at yours. I’m happy to discuss regular or occasional walks, day or overnight care. We have a fully enclosed garden, plenty of space at home, a car for visits and doggy days out.

About: I have been an animal lover all my life. I have one female Cocker Spaniel. I have had various different breeds of dogs over the years and have trained a fair few puppies. I have experience of dog sitting different breeds. I have recently trained a cocker spaniel with basic gun dog skills and he has recently gone on to live in a shooting family. I have also owned horses. I offer a friendly loving home environment where I will make your precious pet feel at home and safe. I work from home and so I am home all day. The only days I am not home are Mondays and Thursday where I attend the office. I have a fully enclosed garden. I am happy to take puppies and work on toilet training. I am also happy to offer walks. About: I have 5 granddogs, 2 grandcats, 2 grandpigs, 2 goddogs and numerous canine and cat nephews and nieces (not blood of course, they are the furry kids of my friends). They’re family 😁 Usually only available between June and January as I live in Colombia January to May. However do feel free to ask, especially if the dates that you require are close to the limits. If I'm here I can adapt my schedule. I work remotely as a geeky historical writer, so can be pretty much anywhere and what can be better than doing that whilst making new furry friends. I treat them as family, except when the sharing of food is the question. I don’t share food, just like my English goddog, Percy, doesn’t share his bone. With regard to communication - the number listed is now obsolete - my new number is Colombian because I live in Colombia for six months each year - Unfortunately Rover does not have a Colombia option. So best to email me or communicate through Rover.

About: I’m a seasoned pet sitter with 4+ years of experience and a full house of my own. I’m confident in administering medication, including insulin, and I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and breeds — from fluffy long-hairs that need regular grooming to independent farm or feral cats. I have a company called Woofs & Whiskers, which provides pet and house sitting, which allows me to offer a wide range of availability during weekdays, weekends and school holidays (day and night). To supplement this during quieter months, I work as a bank support worker for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Working on the bank (0 hour contract) allows me to prioritise my I know that leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care takes a huge amount of trust. My aim is always to make things as familiar, calm and consistent as possible for your pets while you’re away, and to give you the reassurance that they’re being well cared for. Wherever possible, I will maintain your pet’s usual routine, including their normal feeding times, walks, bedtime routines and the little habits that help them feel secure. I’m happy to administer medication, follow specialist or prescribed diets, and work with any individual care instructions you provide. For dogs, I will initially stick to walking routes and areas they already know, rather than introducing unfamiliar places straight away. Once we’ve built a relationship and I understand their personality, behaviour and recall, we can agree whether exploring further afield or walking off lead is appropriate. Building trust and a positive relationship with your pets is really important to me. I’ll take things at their pace, particularly with pets who are nervous, anxious or simply need a little longer to decide whether I’m worthy of their approval! I’m equally respectful of the fact that I’m being trusted with your home as well as your pets. I will only use or enter the areas of your home that are necessary for their care and will always aim to leave your home exactly as I found it. While you’re away, I’ll maintain regular contact and updates, including photos and messages as agreed, so you know how everyone is getting on without having to wonder or chase for information. I am fully insured for pet sitting and am very happy to provide a copy of my insurance documentation for your reassurance. Most importantly, I want you to be able to go away knowing that your pets are safe, comfortable and cared for by someone who will treat them, their routines and your home with respect.

About: Growing up in country Australia I have been surrounded by all kinds of dogs from rescue greyhounds, senior citizens, and puppies my whole life. I have have a pooch of my own (a double doodle named Ffyn) and would love to take special care of your K9 family. I am experienced in house sitting, walking, and drop ins. I currently own a doodle puppy who would love the company of another dog, young or old. I work from home part of the week and my partner works from home full time. We live in a cottage in the countryside with easy access to beautiful forest and field walks, and have a very comfortable sofa for your pooch to relax on after a nice walk. We have a fully fenced garden and outdoor area. The house with its thick stone walls stays lovely and cool in hot weather where the dogs love to relax inside.

About: Dog walking and dog/cat sitting services offered. Your dog will get a chance to practice his/her training skills that they may have while we walk. Will also be observed when he/she is been taken care of, including basic health checks to ensure they are in a good condition to be exercised. I have always had cats in my life and I I offer a caring service that is individually suited to your pet. I have volunteered at a dog's home in San Diego working with dogs that had certain issues arising from neglect, and have also volunteered at Abbotsleigh. I have looked after many animals for friends and have always had very good feedback and recommendations. Distinction* in level 3 animal management so I am well informed on the legislative and legal aspects of pet sitting, and am in the process of applying for insurance.

About: I grew up with two border collies. I helped care for them from pups to seniors. I don't have that many photos of me and them together or me and any pet together as I was a bit camera shy. I completely understand what it takes and how much our animals mean to us. From feeding them twice to three times a day, to the hours upon hours of walking I did with them by my side. I really learnt what it was like to care and look after pets. Young and old. I was in control of dog sledging team last winter. Competeing in races and casual sledging. I worked with my mother who fostered a puppy when our dog was senior, so I understand the difference in age and what is required with each stage of an animals life. Catering my experience to whatever stage your pet is at. I am an avid hiker and love taking dogs with me. I have been left friends dogs and cats to feed while they were away. Overall I just love animals. I am very flexible around dates and times. On an average week I will have 2-3 days i can dedicate to your pet. It will take a bit of organizing but I am sure that I can fit around your schedule. I like to listen to the pet owners about their pets, as I believe they know them best. I look to find out all i can about a dog before walks. If I am too come to your home. I like to know if the pet is on any medication. If there is any strict rules the pet follows (like not being allowed in bedrooms) after all it's the pets home. I'm just a visitor. Overall I like to get a sense of the animal and the situation I am coming into.

About: I have been brought up on a small holding I am use to all animals big and small we have dogs, cats and many more animals back home and since moving to London I have missed being around animals, caring for animals and also having a walking buddy on my daily walks. I have also cared for animals since I was young learning off my grandad who was a vet ! I would feel confident in looking after any size dog or cat at any age as long as I was provided with a good handover of the pets needs. I am typically work from home 24/7 as my boss is in Dubai so I am not expected in the office in London often but I do go in for a social this means I can be super flexible with pet care in the week. My weekends do vary but with enough warning I can fit you in! I love making sure your pets have different stimulating activities during the day, rest, well fed and hydrated and lots of attention. I enjoy long works or lots of short walks during the day, whatever is needed for your furry friend !

About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

About: I raised my kids with pets and since early retirement, I've been traveling the world while taking care of other's pets with the same love, devotion and affection. I am a recently retired professor ... and now writing fiction ... seeking more opportunities to travel while house-sitting and pet-sitting, for good people, in beautiful homes.
