She attended our property at the agreed time and was thoughtful to suggest with us that she leave lights on etc to create a suggestion of being home whilst we were away. About: What can I say about cats? Cats have been part of my life and the centre of our family life since childhood. I have experience with rescue cats, that need extra patience and care to settle. Having rescued farm cats and those from animal sanctuaries. In the past I when living in Dubai I fostered street cats with a local charity, whilst they found their forever home. About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. About: I have taken care of 2 of my own dogs and 2 cats as, as well as volunteering my local dog kennel charity to help with walking and feeding. I have been on Rover for almost 2 years now and have taken care of many different breeds, shapes, sizes, disabilities and energy levels. I have lots of experience with walking small and large sized dog on short and long walks, feeding when needed, bathing them and ensuring they are all happy, whilst prioritising their wellbeing. My dog, Pecan (passed in 2023) had his leg amputated so I am also used to helping pets with disabilities and I can easily accommodate for any medical issues. I am able to accommodate for any requirements with mornings, afternoons and evenings being the most applicable for my personal schedule. I will prioritise the wellbeing of all pets in my care and make sure they have been taken out enough for toilet breaks, walks and general play time outside. I find it hard to not treat any pet in my care like my own so they will definitely get loads of cuddles and attention. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.

About: I started my Veterinary Nursing training when I was 18 years old and have not looked back since! I trained at an animal shelter practice and therefore have a good understanding of dogs with individual needs and temperaments. I have since qualified as an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse and now work as a Nursing Manager at a Large Veterinary Referral Hospital. I am certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support/CPR and am happy administering all types of medications including injections. In addition to my extensive Veterinary experience I have also grown up with dogs and love to care and support them in all stages of their lives! I have been trusted by neighbours, friends, family and clients to look after their dogs before, even those with very advanced medical conditions and I am therefore comfortable caring for dogs that have a range of training and medical needs. I work 40 hours a week but I am in a position to decrease this if pet sitting really takes off! Most days I will finish my work day at 6pm so I am available in the evenings after 6pm. Thursdays and Sundays are my guaranteed days off so overnight stays are absolutely doable on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Walkies and at home sitting is absolutely doable for me after a work day. I have a 2 bedroom house with a small/medium fenced garden. We have a cat and a dog in our home and our dog is 17 years old so she is being rather intensely cared for at the moment due to recently having an operation on her eye. My cat is indoor/outdoor but very much enjoys his own space and company, loves to roam in the greenery outside our house. Out the front of my house is a large field which gets used by myself and neighbours to let the furries have a run around. Both pets are fed at the same time each day and are fed together, they enjoy eating their dinners together. Padfoot (my cat) is always waiting at the door by 5pm as he knows it’s dinner time!

About: I grew up in the countryside with a large menagerie of animals and then went into pet sitting. I have several regular clients who book me on repeat every year because I provide a great level of care for their pets. Genuine animal lover and love getting out and about in the countryside with a four legged friend or 3. Fun, fresh air and snuggles guaranteed.
