“Rachel looked after Marla while we visited family nearby and Marla loved it! She got on well with her dog and another dog that was there at the same time. Rachel was really flexible and was happy for us to pick Marla up and take her out with us for a couple of days, and Marla was always excited to return to her house in the evening. I would definitely recommend Rachel and will book again!”

“What a lovely couple. My dog has had a fantastic time. He's come home exhausted after a very long walk. From the photos I have been sent, I can see he thoroughly enjoyed his walks. He was welcomed into their home and treated as though he was their own. It was clear to me that they are dog sitting because they love dogs. I am so happy that my dog was so well looked after. Thank you Sam and Katherine x”

Thank you!”

“Kim visited our house to meet our kitten and learn about her needs demonstrating real interest and care for our pet. She attended our property at the agreed time and was thoughtful to suggest with us that she leave lights on etc to create a suggestion of being home whilst we were away. Great to receive some photos and we returned for find a happy kitty and everything popped away and tidy after her being fed etc. A great service and will definitely use again”

“So pleased with the service provided from Cherie today! The app is brilliant, I would say that after doing a long shift at work and leaving my house cat alone for that long always leaves me feeling uneasy but being new to the area, I couldn't ask anyone to just drop in. Trilby has been introduced to a new friend whilst I'm at work and its gone amazingly. The photo updates were very lovely and gave me piece of mind at work! Definitely worth doing again and has given me confidence to think re. Future plans about possibly having a house sitting booking 😊 thank you. She definitely got the attention that I would have expected. I have heard of some reviews where poeple go in and read a book whilst being paid....I was looking for more interaction with my house cat so I come home on a Monday evening with a less energetic kitty and that's what I had. 💕🤗 x”

“Lucy was absolutely brilliant looking after our two boys. She stayed with them on every visit to make sure they got lots of cuddles and kept me well informed throughout our trip. Will definitely recommend her to others!”

About: I’ve worked in animal rescue so I’m very used to a wide variety of dogs, breed and size. Also worked with a variety of needs also. I have my own dogs. One since a pup who was challenging and then became reactive. She is doing amazing now! And I have a foreign rescue who posed many opposite challenges so I’m able to adapt to the dogs needs. I have ten years experience in the nhs but I’m looking at going into a career with dogs now. It’s my main passion. I’ve been told I’m very calm and patient with dogs which draws many dogs to me. I have attended all sorts of workshops and classes with my own dogs including: puppy/adolescent classes, trick training, parkour, scentwork, mantrailing, barnhunt, Canicross, paddle boarding, agility and hoopers to name a few. I try and include things I think your dog may enjoy on our walks. I have completed many online courses from canine first aid, canine body language and behaviour and dog walking. I have also spent a lot of time observing behaviourists, trainers, walkers, vets, vet nurses, hydrotherapists and physios to gain as much knowledge and experience as I can. I’m currently doing odd bits of work with dogs including training/behaviour work with supervision and hydrotherapy/physio assistant work. So my diary is currently very flexible. I know lots of local walks and I’m very used to finding quieter walks if that’s what a dog needs. I also know good busier areas for bits of dog training depending on the dogs requirements. I also live on private land with some secure fields so that is an option also.

About: I hold a degree in Animal Behaviour and Welfare, am fully trained in pet first aid, and have 7 years of hands-on experience caring for other people’s dogs. Training Experience: • Trained a family member’s dog to Silver level Kennel Club • Worked with dogs outside of family on obedience and behaviour • Experience with agility training • Successfully trained puppies in house training, crate training, and both basic and complex commands My background means I don’t just look after dogs — I understand their behaviour, can read their body language, and provide care that’s tailored to each individual dog’s needs Pet care fits beautifully into my routine because I’m at home most days with a very flexible schedule. I’m available throughout the day, every day, which means I can give dogs the time, attention, and consistency they thrive on. My days are structured around gentle routines — perfect for slow walks, playtime, training sessions, or just quiet company. Whether it’s an early morning walk, a midday play session, or regular check-ins throughout the day, I can easily adapt to your dog’s normal routine to keep them happy and stress-free. Being available most of the day also means I never rush visits — there’s always time for extra cuddles, a longer sniff on a walk, or that little bit of extra attention some dogs need. I offer a warm, safe, home-from-home experience where your dog becomes part of my daily routine. I’m at home most of the day, every day — so your dog will never be left alone for long stretches. I have a good-sized, fully enclosed garden for your dog to run around in or simply relax outside and enjoy the breeze. A typical day includes: • Regular walks in quiet local areas near Street • Playtime, cuddles, and plenty of interaction • Fresh water and feeding exactly to your instructions • A comfortable, designated rest area with their own bed and blankets from home • Photo and video updates so you can see they’re happy and settled With my Animal Behaviour and Welfare degree, I carefully introduce dogs to their new environment, read their body language to ensure they’re comfortable, and adapt my care to each dog’s individual needs — whether that’s extra quiet time, gentle play, or longer sniff walks. Dog Walking: Solo walks only — never group walks (unless specifically requested) — with my full attention at all times. I adapt the pace and style of every walk to suit your dog’s age and temperament. Safety is always my priority: I’m fully trained in pet first aid, and I always carry a pet first aid kit with me on walks.
About: I grew up with animals of all sorts in Kenya, and have had various pets throughout my life: dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, tortoises, fish, and a giant snail. My last dog (boxer) was a family pet, which I trained from a puppy, and cared for until she grew old. My cats came to me as kittens and lived long happy lives with me. I've looked after friends' and neighbours' dogs, walking, playing with them, and having them overnight or for several days at a time. I have a large garden in rural Somerset - perfectly suited for dogs. I love all animals! I am a freelance artist, and work mainly from home. I can offer many hours of company in the daytime, and am always at home overnight. I wake early so the morning feed and walk is easily done. I have a large spacious fenced garden, in a rural village in Somerset. I keep pets downstairs to roam freely in the sitting room and kitchen. I can crate your pet if needed, when I go out.
“Rufus had a wonderful day with Jess and her family. He went straight in to the home with his tail wagging, and loved sniffing around the garden. Jess was very attentive to Rufus’s needs and he left very happy indeed. Would definitely recommend Jess for doggy day care.”

“Anna was wonderful with Roscoe. Clear communication in the lead-up to our stay. I immediately sensed that Roscoe would feel at home. He's now an old dog and just likes the quiet life and just potters around, but that wasn't an issue for Anna and she allowed him to contentedly pass his day just being quiet - thank you! I would definitely use again, should we return to the area.”

“Rob looked after my dog extremely well, he and his family were incredible with my dog and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend to others :) She actually didn’t want to leave!! Thank you Rob and Family!”

“Highly recommend Beth! We left our dog with Beth for 2 days whilst we visited Longleat, Beth was so lovely from the first meet and greet, she then sent photo updates to show how our dog was getting on, Beth’s communication was excellent, and our dog was so happy there with Beth’s dog as well, wouldn’t hesitate to use again!”

“After being left high and dry by another sitter, Megan came to our rescue. She replied to our same day request within half an hour, and Ozzie was in her care within the hour. We could not ask for a better, more accommodating and welcoming family to look after our boy. We had regular updates and it was lovely to see Ozzie befriending her dog Benny. If I was local to the area I would not hesitate to use Megan’s services again. Highly recommended.”

About: I’m a seasoned pet sitter with 4+ years of experience and a full house of my own. I’m confident in administering medication, including insulin, and I’ve worked with dogs and cats of all ages and breeds — from fluffy long-hairs that need regular grooming to independent farm or feral cats. I have a company called Woofs & Whiskers, which provides pet and house sitting, which allows me to offer a wide range of availability during weekdays, weekends and school holidays (day and night). To supplement this during quieter months, I work as a bank support worker for adults with learning disabilities and autism. Working on the bank (0 hour contract) allows me to prioritise my I know that leaving your pets and your home in someone else’s care takes a huge amount of trust. My aim is always to make things as familiar, calm and consistent as possible for your pets while you’re away, and to give you the reassurance that they’re being well cared for. Wherever possible, I will maintain your pet’s usual routine, including their normal feeding times, walks, bedtime routines and the little habits that help them feel secure. I’m happy to administer medication, follow specialist or prescribed diets, and work with any individual care instructions you provide. For dogs, I will initially stick to walking routes and areas they already know, rather than introducing unfamiliar places straight away. Once we’ve built a relationship and I understand their personality, behaviour and recall, we can agree whether exploring further afield or walking off lead is appropriate. Building trust and a positive relationship with your pets is really important to me. I’ll take things at their pace, particularly with pets who are nervous, anxious or simply need a little longer to decide whether I’m worthy of their approval! I’m equally respectful of the fact that I’m being trusted with your home as well as your pets. I will only use or enter the areas of your home that are necessary for their care and will always aim to leave your home exactly as I found it. While you’re away, I’ll maintain regular contact and updates, including photos and messages as agreed, so you know how everyone is getting on without having to wonder or chase for information. I am fully insured for pet sitting and am very happy to provide a copy of my insurance documentation for your reassurance. Most importantly, I want you to be able to go away knowing that your pets are safe, comfortable and cared for by someone who will treat them, their routines and your home with respect.

About: Hi, I’m Elsie! I’m a huge animal lover with over two years of experience working as a receptionist in a busy veterinary practice. My role gave me a great understanding of pet health, behaviour and the importance of keeping animals calm, comfortable and well cared for and completed many courses to help develop my knowledge in these areas of animal care. It also confirmed that I wanted animals to remain a big part of my life! I have three pets of my own who mean the world to me, so I completely understand how important it is to find someone you can trust to care for your furry family member! I’ll always treat your pet with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I now work remotely, which gives me plenty of flexibility and means pets receive lots of company throughout the day rather than being left alone. I can help with dog walking, drop in visits, daycare or overnight care, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible. During visits I can provide feeding, fresh water, toilet breaks, playtime, walks, plenty of fuss and regular photo updates, so you’ll always know how they’re getting on. Dog walks can be tailored to your pet’s age, energy levels and routine, whether they prefer a gentle 30 minute stroll or a longer adventure. Every pet has a different personality, and I’m happy to adapt my approach to suit them, whether they’re energetic, shy, senior or just need a little extra reassurance. Thanks to my veterinary background, I’m also confident recognising if something doesn’t seem quite right and would contact you immediately while seeking veterinary advice if needed. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your pet and provide them with a safe, caring and happy home away from home. I work remotely from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility to fit pet care into my day. One of the things I missed most after leaving my role at a veterinary practice was being around animals, so pet sitting is the perfect way for me to continue doing something I genuinely love. Because I work from home, I can provide lots of companionship, regular toilet breaks, playtime, walks and plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to work around your pet’s usual routine and can be flexible with drop off, pick up and visit times where possible. Your pet’s safety and happiness will always be my top priority. Having worked in a veterinary practice for over two years, I’m confident recognising when something isn’t quite right and know how important it is to stay calm and communicate with owners. I’ll always follow your pet’s routine, feeding schedule and any instructions carefully. I live in a clean, calm home and will make sure your pet feels comfortable, loved and well cared for. I’ll also keep you updated with regular messages and photos, so you can enjoy peace of mind while you’re away.

“Lauren was great. While we were at a wedding in a new area, she walked our dog and also popped back later to let him out for the loo again. She also popped by the evening before briefly to meet him first. She was very friendly and our dog seemed to enjoy her company and playing with her. Recommend.”

About: I have lived on a farm and looked after various animal breeds throughout my life, which has given me extensive hands on experience and a deep love for all animals. I’ve also adopted elephants in Thailand and worked alongside vets, and I volunteered at a horse and donkey sanctuary while doing my law degree. I can care for all types of pets with confidence, drawing on my knowledge of different breeds and their needs. I’m reliable, attentive, and passionate about providing the best care, always ensuring animals feel safe, happy, and well looked after. I have plenty of free time to care for your animals, whether it’s walking, grooming, companionship, or looking after them while you’re away on holiday. I joined this site a few years ago but never completed all the details. I have now returned to ensure I pursue this work, as my dream is to one day open a sanctuary abroad for dogs, cats, and horses. I offer care for your pets in your home. I live in Shoscombe with my cat and my partner. If needed, I can take your dogs on multiple walks, as I love exercise and I also adore horses too! Any farms are welcome, as I currently have a retired sports horse.

About: I have valuable experience in providing day care and maintaining daily routines when taking care of a variety of breeds, including both dogs and cats. I have developed a strong understanding of animal behaviour, handling, and basic pet care through hands-on experience with my own dog and cat. I am extremely friendly and compassionate and love all animals which can be shown through my genuine and kind nature. I am currently working which part-time allows me to dedicate additional time to pet care, offering flexible availability for dog walking, drop-in visits, and pet sitting services. I also drive, enabling me to travel easily to clients’ homes. My work schedule changes every week and I am able to change shifts to suit clients schedules when needed. I would care for pets in their own home by following their established routine, ensuring they are fed, exercised, comfortable, and well supervised. I would provide companionship, keep the home secure and tidy, and send regular updates to give owners peace of mind. I am extremely friendly with all animals and have a big heart which allows me to be compassionate and approachable for all furry friends!

About: I have owned cats and horses my whole life and have dog sit on Rover for around 2 years. I have received 5* reviews from all owners. I have done walking, day care and boarding for long durations and have loved providing a safe and happy environment for every dog who has stayed. Having owned cats and horses my whole life I have a good attention to detail and make sure to cater to every pets specific needs. I am a patient and kind handler and a true animal lover. My two horses are pictured in the last slide. I am currently in my final year of studying an equine degree at Hartpury University, specialising in horse behaviour and welfare. I come home to Cheddar most weekends, when I am free to look after your pets. My weekday availability varies so please message if you have any out of hours requests and I will do my best to accommodate. I’m fortunate enough to live on a quiet private lane with a secure and gated patio and a small grass garden. We are tucked away from main roads and don’t get any through traffic. When staying overnight in my house I have the option to section off parts of my house with a baby gate or leave open the whole of downstairs which is plenty enough space for a larger dog. My house is very quiet and peaceful and so if your dog prefers a quieter environment they will be more than happy. I also have heaps of cozy blankets but please feel free to bring as many of your own as you like.
About: I started my Veterinary Nursing training when I was 18 years old and have not looked back since! I trained at an animal shelter practice and therefore have a good understanding of dogs with individual needs and temperaments. I have since qualified as an Emergency and Critical Care Nurse and now work as a Nursing Manager at a Large Veterinary Referral Hospital. I am certified in both Basic and Advanced Life Support/CPR and am happy administering all types of medications including injections. In addition to my extensive Veterinary experience I have also grown up with dogs and love to care and support them in all stages of their lives! I have been trusted by neighbours, friends, family and clients to look after their dogs before, even those with very advanced medical conditions and I am therefore comfortable caring for dogs that have a range of training and medical needs. I am passionate, fun and have a lot of love to give! If you have any questions please just get into contact and I will be happy to help! I understand trusting someone to look after your best friend and companion can be a lot, so if you want to talk things through with me regarding your pet’s individual needs, just let me know! 🐾 My schedule is currently very flexible, allowing me to provide attentive and consistent care throughout the day and adapt to your pet’s individual routine and needs. Whether your dog enjoys lots of walks and playtime, or your cat prefers a calm and relaxed environment, I can tailor my care to suit them perfectly. I am available during both weekdays and weekends and can often accommodate bespoke arrangements, medication schedules, and additional check-ins where needed. With my veterinary nursing background, I am confident caring for pets with a wide range of medical, behavioural, and emotional needs. I genuinely love spending quality time with animals, from long walks and enrichment for energetic dogs to cuddles, companionship, and gentle care for cats. My priority is always to make your pets feel safe, comfortable, loved, and well cared for while you are away 🐾 We live in a detached house in Cheddar. We have a secure fenced garden with grass and patio to suite your dog’s toileting habits! And also have direct access to public footpaths which take you onto stunning open fields.
“Ebony was absolutely wonderful and so lovely and followed my instructions to a t and even made a video of my pups lovely time spent with her she was making regular contact with me sharing photos and I would definitely recommend her”

About: As a lifelong animal lover, I’ve had the joy of caring for a variety of pets—dogs, cats, puppies, elderly dogs, hamsters, and even fish! I understand that each pet has its own unique personality, needs, and quirks, and I pride myself on being attentive, patient, and adaptable. Whether it’s taking an energetic pup on long walks, cuddling with a senior dog, or making sure a curious kitten stays out of trouble, I approach every pet with love and care. You can trust me to treat your furry (or scaly!) family members as if they were my own, ensuring they feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. Although I don’t have formal qualifications in dog training, I have extensive hands-on experience with animals, particularly in training both cats and dogs with consistent discipline. This has given me a deep understanding of their behaviors and training needs. I currently work a part time job in retail but I am recently working more hours to earn some extra cash. I work 40 hours a week but I am in a position to decrease this if pet sitting really takes off! Most days I will finish my work day at 6pm so I am available in the evenings after 6pm. Thursdays and Sundays are my guaranteed days off so overnight stays are absolutely doable on Wednesdays and Saturdays. Walkies and at home sitting is absolutely doable for me after a work day. I have a 2 bedroom house with a small/medium fenced garden. We have a cat and a dog in our home and our dog is 17 years old so she is being rather intensely cared for at the moment due to recently having an operation on her eye. My cat is indoor/outdoor but very much enjoys his own space and company, loves to roam in the greenery outside our house. Out the front of my house is a large field which gets used by myself and neighbours to let the furries have a run around. Both pets are fed at the same time each day and are fed together, they enjoy eating their dinners together. Padfoot (my cat) is always waiting at the door by 5pm as he knows it’s dinner time!

“It’s comforting to know that our doggy is in such great hands while we’re not able to be around. Tracey is reliable, friendly and so professional! Today was the first of many dog walks :-)”

“Hugo could not have been looked after better than he was with Nick and Dawn. His every need was attended to, their lovely dog Doug accepted him without any problem and I suspect we have a holiday home for Hugo from now on. Absolutely perfect. Thank you.”

“Very attentive! Abraham didn’t want to come home and we had to pull him out! Lots of updates and very quick communication. Would definitely book again, thank you so much for caring for him and keeping our minds at ease whilst away 😊”

“Abigail and her daughter took wonderful care of my lab x. I had daily updates, pictures and reassurance that he'd had his medication and was very happy. They cared for him like he was their own dog, I'm surprised he wanted to come home at all! What more can you ask from a dog sitter ? 100% recommend.”

“I cannot thank Lily enough for not only taking amazing care of Harlow but also doing it on such short notice! I was kept updated throughout Harlows stay and she seemed so happy to be with Lily and her amazing family :) I should be recommending Lily to anyone that will listen but then I’m afraid she will be too busy to be Harlows step mum haha Lily your amazing thank you so much for everything you did I cannot express how appreciative I am for everything you did for my pup”

“Kelly looked after my 14 year old staffy roxy for 4 days. Kelly provided loads of photos and updates. Roxy was very happy in her home, kelly was professional, kind and compassionate towards roxy, providing her with taylored care after asking questions about her routine to minimise stress, she also gave her medication as instructed and informed me when it had run out returning the bottle back with her. Can not reccomend her highly enough. Thanks Kelly”

A wonderful holiday home with people that really understand dogs. Couldn't rate highly enough. Thankyou for having him and also for his little treat we found in his going away bag. See you soon.”

“Francesca communicated clearly throughout the time she looked after Fia, and asked for advice when she was a little unsettled. We received regular photos and videos of Fia and their dog playing :) It seems the two dogs had a great time together, and the family took Fia out with them on their trips including her which we’re grateful for! Thank you!”

“Aleksandra was great at keeping me updated so I never felt I had to worry about how things were going. It seems our boy had a great time and was well looked after. Would use again.”

“Linsey was a fantastic host to our Vinnie. It was very appreciated that she hosted for a day prior to a weekly stay, so he could feel settled before (and we could too, first time ever leaving with a dog sitter!). We look forward to seeing you again soon!”
