2. Rachel M.

“This day care appointment was a trail run, seeing how our Cozette would behave for Rachel and also to see whether she seemed happy and relaxed before we booked a longer stay. Our experience was very good. Cozette seemed right at home and we will be booking a longer stay soon.”

About: I have always grown up with dogs. ( puppies to senior dogs) I have two little Cavapoos: Frazzle & Duke! They are super friendly and would love to meet your pup 🐶 We love lunch time walks and being able to play fetch in the garden together too! (I’m home all day, so plenty of care & attention) The back garden is fully fenced and safe for all pups. I work from home, so Im around all day, so they will not be left unsupervised at any time. (Unless I pop to the shop)

4. Melissa R.
“Melissa has looked after our miniature dachshund Nala for us when we’ve been away, she has such a loving nature with dogs, she is caring, competent and super reliable, knowledgeable and treats your dog as part of the family from the moment they arrive, Nala loves going there and I wouldn’t choose anyone else to look after her as I know she treats her exactly how we do, thank you.”

5. Robert C.

“Otto had the best time with Sofia and her gorgeous pup Orla! Sofia had great communication throughout all stages of our booking and kept us up to date with photos. It’s always nice knowing you’re leaving your pup in a safe environment with friendly people and we are so grateful you could accommodate our late booking. We hope to bring Otto back soon and thank you so much!”

7. Justyna M.

“Justyna is a kind and dedicated dog sitter to Archie. I book with Justyna regularly as I can trust her completely with Archie. She is very attuned to the needs of Archie, particularly small dogs and their quirks! She seems me regually updated on Archies day. Thank you Justyna, it's been great to find Archie a home from home when he needs daycare”

8. Lee W.

About: I have grown up with animals inside and outside the home. This love for animals has never dwindled. I have carefully bred our 5 generations of Whippets kept within the family meaning our dogs always have great socialisation, quality nutrition, love and care. I run my own business from home, while raising my 2 wonderful children (Aged 4 and 9). Your dog will accompany me and Ellie on our normal day, of running small errands, being in the home and on our walks. We adore dogs, and have an abundance of experience. We have our own gorgeous 6 year old Whippet, Ellie, who is just as up for going for a long walk and play as she is sleeping in all day. We live in a large apartment suitable for your pets stay. I am located 5 minutes away from multiple fields, cycle paths & lovely walks which is perfect for accommodating to any schedule. We'd love to help look after your furry family member.

10. Anna F.
“Anna has walked and boarded Rosie over the last couple of years . Rosie absolutely adores her and you couldn’t get a better person to look after your pet. She is very knowledgeable on how to train and care for your pet and if she doesn’t know how she will research the subject. I can’t recommend her highly enough any pet she looks after is very lucky and the owners can have complete peace of mind their pet is in a good place.”

11. Kath F.
About: I’ll look after your pet like it’s my own. I have had pets from dogs to cats to Guinea pigs to rats since childhood. My first weekend job as a teenager was in a pet shop, so I’ve been looking after all sorts of animals for a long time. I’ve also had puppies and cared for seniors in their old age. My parents live close by and they have a lovely, friendly 2 year old husky that I often look after and take for walks so I’m used to strong and excitable dogs! For boarding and walks, your pet/s will be looked after individually as I have no pets of my own at the moment and I only care for one person’s pet/s at a time to ensure they get the best love and attention. I mostly work from home in a flexible role so have plenty of time to meet your pet’s needs. I love walking and know all the safe routes nearby, plus places where dogs can play together or be off lead if required. I have a secure, 6ft fenced garden and there are plenty of countryside walking routes. Your dog can be crated at night, or sleep in the downstairs hallway. I’m also happy to have their bed in my bedroom if that’s what they’re used to, or if they won’t settle downstairs.

12. Jennie L.

“Jennie is absolutely lovely. Our little dog Beauie had such a great time walking and hanging out with Jennie and her very sweet dog Nala. I would highly recommend. Thanks so much again Jennie!”

13. Sophie V.
About: I have my own dog, Marley, who is a well-trained miniature labradoodle. I grew up with dogs and have experience with nervous/excitable dogs. I currently have 2 regular dogs for daycare and walking (including a deaf, visually impaired, epileptic pup who needs 24/7 obs and regular meds) and I have cared for many others for boarding while their humans go on holiday. I work from home and treat my pup to 4 walks a day (used to be 6 when she was younger!) and she absolutely loves other dogs - for the days I go into the office she goes to doggy daycare but for the days I’m working from home, I have lots of time to care for other dogs and Marley would love to have friends too. I can offer training as part of daycare as I have a natural way with building trust with animals that leads to ease in training. I follow the Brain Training for Dogs curriculum. I currently have two regular dogs that I provide daycare and dog walks to and I have provided boarding for weeks at a time, would certainly accept longer term boarding. My routine can change depending on the week, so I cannot offer a regular day every week but I am around every weekend so can certainly offer weekend walks. I only go into the office once a week, but not every week, so I am available a lot of the time. I am always free on weekday evenings and have plenty of room if a pup needs to stay the night. I only use positive praise, with gentle and slow steps if needed and lots of encouragement with healthy treats and head scratches for following commands correctly. I use “ah ah” to let dogs know if they are doing something they shouldn’t but I do not shout at dogs. If you have commands you would like your dog to work on, I can repeat the training. Dogs are generally allowed everywhere in my home unless the owner has a rule that they wish to be consistent (e.g. not allowed on sofas) then I will help to reinforce this training. I have a puppy fence and a crate if your pup needs to stay in an area. I have puppy pads for dogs who are still learning to be toilet trained. I love to play with dogs and have (too many) toys to play fetch, tug of war or catch with. I have puzzle feeder and lick mats for greedy pups or those who want extra mental stimulation. I have long lasting chews for those who are allowed them. I have a full animal first aid kit for emergencies (thankfully have never had to use it in the past decade!) I go for walks every 2 hours and can do more frequent or less frequent depending on your baby’s needs. I can wash your pup if you would like them coming back smelling beautiful.

14. Justyna T.

“Justyna provides top quality dog care. Millie was looked after same way as she was Justyna’s own dog, with lots of love and attention. Justyna kept us updated throughout the day, sent lots of Millie’s photos and videos. Can’t recommend Justyna enough, highly dedicated and reliable dog sitter.”

About: My whole childhood involved Dogs, I have also looked after several friends dogs due to my job being home based and flexible on times. I came across Rover as I was seeking a House Sitter and decided that I can give back. I have 2 dogs myself who are all friendly and have different needs due to their ages so can be tailored to your dogs requirements. I work from home and have flexible hours. I have a large garden that dogs can go in and out of the house as they please. We have a field next door which is great for a 25 /35 minute walk. I tend to run my two younger dogs and then a slow plod for my eldest. I have helped various neighbours with their dogs for days as my work is home based and flexible for your dogs and requirements can cater for all.

16. Nicholas D.

17. Theresa C.

“Theresa was lovely enough to take Buddy on her day off. We were visiting Castle Cary for a holiday and wanted to visit Bruton for the day and was kindly very flexible around our timings. We had never left Buddy with a stranger before and she sent update pictures and assured us he was fine. Thank you Theresa!”

18. Timothy L.
