“Lauren looked after our dog Teddy for a morning as he struggles with separation anxiety. We contacted Lauren and arranged a meet and greet and booked her in straight away! We knew from the meet and greet that she would be a perfect fit to look after Teddy, she is so lovely and made us feel completely at ease from the get go! We felt comfortable in her staying at our house and knew Teddy would be looked after☺️ we came home to a very happy boy and won’t hesitate in booking Lauren again!!”

“Seb and Fra were sensational!! Would thoroughly recommend them and will definitely use them again. Cedric loved them and they treated him and our house with such care and respect. Thank you Seb and Fra!”

“What a really lovely lady. She took such great care of Lola. I couldn’t have asked for better care. She’s great with animals and has an excellent understanding of their personalities and needs. Sandra sent me regular updates and pictures which was most reassuring. Thank you Sandra. I’ll definitely be seeing you again x”

“Ellie and Sasha did a great job house sitting for our 9month old puppy for a whole day. Communication was good before and on the day, we received an update after their walk with lovely photos. They kept our house clean and tidy, we are now planning on their next booking - thanks both !”

“Ashleigh was really responsive and massively helped out taking on an overnight sit at short notice after another sitter cancelled. Great communication and some lovely photo updates 😊 really grateful for her help, taking good care of Aries and my house”

About: I’ve been working at a dog kennels and cattery as well as a small animal pet boarding for the last two years while studying animal behaviour and welfare at Hartpury University. I also have experience with dog training as I’ve trained one of my dogs for competitive dog agility. I’ve kept many different small animals and dogs and cats from a young age. As I’m studying animal behaviour and welfare at university I have allot of spare time as well as being really flexible this means I can be available. At my small animal boarding job which is based in someone’s home I clean and care for the small animals being boarded. This can also involve visiting houses and caring for animals in other peoples homes.

About: I have experience taking care of dogs that vary in size, from a King Charles cavalier to a bull terrier! Over the last 2 years I have gained experience dog sitting and dog walking! I’m currently a student at Weston college and study in Mondays and Tuesdays, and I have a part time job at a garden centre on Sundays! I have availability Wednesday-Saturday! In a pet owner’s home I would make sure their animal is comfortable and provided with stimulation! If I am dog walking I would not let the dog off lead unless given permission.
“Jess was an absolute superstar! Really cared for Bert, kept me updated with lots of photos and followed all instructions provided which is a huge load off my mind! I’d have Jess back again in a heartbeat, thank you so much it means the world that Bert was so cared for”

About: Hi there! I have taken care of animals all my life, growing up on a farm caring for various species, breeds, sizes and temperaments. Neighbors, friends and family members have all relied on me to care for their animals when away for various periods of time ranging from a simple check in and walk to full round the clock care for months. No matter what your pet needs, I will be able to accommodate! :) My current work schedule allows me to work month on/month off so when I am off work and home, I am fully available all day every day to look after your furry family member :) I live in a quiet area in a semi-detached home with a fenced and gated back garden and a big park around the corner for your pet to run around in! There is also the beach a shirt drive away for extra fun! Note: If your pet requires crating, this is perfectly fine but you will need to provide the crate!

As a dedicated veterinary medicine student, I balance my studies alongside work at a referral centre while keeping my schedule as flexible as possible for the pets I care for. Pet care is a huge part of my daily routine, and starting Rose Pet Care has allowed me to combine my passion for animal welfare with hands-on experience caring for a wide variety of animals. I prioritise providing every pet with personalised attention, enrichment, exercise, and companionship during my available hours, ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while their owners are away. Balancing veterinary studies, clinical experience, and pet sitting has helped me develop strong time management skills, reliability, and a deeper understanding of animal health and behaviour. When caring for pets in their homes, my top priorities are safety, trust, and creating a comfortable environment. I start by thoroughly discussing each pet's routine, preferences, and any specific needs to ensure a smooth transition. “When our diva of a Dog, Bruno decided a week before a planned road trip on an Easter Bank Holiday Weekend that he'd throw a spanner in the works by developing a severe car phobia, we were potentially left with a late cancellation. Our usual boarding options were unavailable, or unsuitable due to distance, we were directed online by a friend to Rover, and found George. An initial chat to make sure things were going to be compatible, followed up by a couple of visits to meet Bruno in person. George's calm demeanour and attention to detail assured us that he knew what he was doing, but diligent in making sure he had everything covered. A second meeting was arranged to ensure things were smooth and make sure both parties were at ease. Updates were sent with the frequency we requested, and several of our neighbours had commented how nice George was, and that him and Bruno seemed to be getting on very well. House was left clean and tidy, and plants were all kept well watered. Really happy with the service provided, thank you.”

About: Hello! My name is Olivia, and I’m a 24-year-old final year postgraduate vet student. I grew up just outside Arbroath, a small fishing village in the north of Scotland, surrounded by animals - from dogs and chickens to two farm kittens we rescued from a barn. I have lots of experience caring for a wide range of animals, both at home and abroad. This includes volunteering at a rescue centre in Costa Rica and on a game reserve in South Africa. Closer to home, I’ve regularly looked after pets for family and friends. (Full disclosure: I now stick to care rather than grooming after a childhood attempt at trimming my uncle’s spaniel’s ears left her with a very lopsided haircut!) Alongside my studies, I also work as a lifeguard, which has strengthened my ability to stay calm in emergencies and prioritise safety at all times. When visiting my family, I care for our very needy Vizsla, Scout, and our more independent and aloof rescue cat, Lunar. Through my veterinary training, I’ve also gained hands-on experience caring for animals with a variety of medical needs, including those who are unwell or require extra attention. I'm very active and enjoy running and long walks, so I’m always happy to take energetic dogs out for adventures. Equally, I enjoy quieter days painting and can provide a calm, relaxed environment for more anxious pets. I’m currently available for dog walking and pet sitting between my clinical rotations. I’m also confident administering medications, including injections, if required. I’m currently in my final year of vet school, so during breaks between rotation blocks I can dedicate my time fully to your pet. My schedule can vary, which means I’m often able to offer flexible, ad hoc bookings, including short-notice requests where availability allows. I’m very outdoorsy and enjoy running, so I’m always happy to take high-energy dogs out for longer walks or runs. I’m also happy to work around your pet’s usual routine, whether that’s early mornings, evenings, or specific feeding and medication schedules. I can provide regular updates for peace of mind while you’re away. I currently offer pet care in your home and dog walking, as I’m unable to host pets in my own home. I find that staying in a pet’s familiar environment often helps them feel more relaxed and settled while you’re away. As a final-year veterinary student, your pet’s safety and wellbeing are always my top priority. I’m confident recognising signs of illness or distress and can act quickly if anything seems off. I’m also experienced in administering medications, including injections, where needed. I take care to follow your pet’s usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding, exercise, and any specific instructions you provide. I’m respectful of your home and will always leave it clean and secure. I’m happy to provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you can feel reassured that your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for.
“Thanks Lottie for looking after Tolly and Brodie so well! I definitely recommend Lottie and plan to book her again. She managed the two extremes well - an aging, easy going Labrador on a lot of medication & an 18 month old Cocker Spaniel with a few 'issues'! Lottie gave regular updates & both my dogs loved her!”

About: I’ve been caring for dogs through family pets for many years, and for the past three years I’ve been the proud owner of two dogs, Teddy and Aya. They’re both energetic, loving, and very social dogs who keep me active and on my toes every day. Caring for Teddy and Aya has given me hands-on experience with daily walks, feeding schedules, playtime, basic training, and making sure dogs feel safe and comfortable in my care. They love being around other dogs and especially enjoy playtime, so your pup will always have friendly company. While my experience hasn’t been professional, I truly love dogs of all breeds and sizes and treat every dog as if they were my own. I’m excited to provide reliable, attentive, and loving care and make sure your dog feels happy and at home while you’re away. I’m always happy to send updates, photos, and messages while you’re away so you can see how your dog is doing and feel at ease. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I treat every dog with the same care and love I give my own. I currently work part-time from home, which allows me plenty of time to give your puppy lots of attention, care, and play throughout the day. I’m available Monday through Saturday and can be flexible to meet your pet’s needs. I have a fenced front porch as well as a garden where dogs can enjoy fresh air and supervised outdoor time. Inside the home, dogs are welcome to relax freely and be included in daily activities. At night, I usually allow dogs to sleep in the bed with me for comfort and companionship, but I’m also happy to use a crate if that’s what your dog is used to or if you prefer. I always follow the pet owner’s instructions regarding routines, sleeping arrangements, feeding, and care to ensure your pet feels at home and well cared for.
