About: I have grown up with dogs of all shapes and sizes and have plenty of experience of dog care and walking, our family dogs are a Hungarian Wirehaired Vizsla and a Minature Schnauzer but have puppy and senior dog experience too as we have had many family dogs over the years. I also help out with a family home dog boarding business so have lots of different breed experience. i have a passion for all animals but dogs in particular and will take care of your pets like they are my own! I'm currently working full-time from home but can do this from your home, this makes me available for your pets at all times. I am also available on the weekends so can fit around your holiday. When taking care of your pet in your home I will follow your pet's routine and look after your home. I will give your pets lots of love and attention and exercise as per your instructions. I will also keep you up to date throughout the stay if you wish.

About: I've been around dogs for as long as I can remember. With a genuine love of spending time and caring for them, I grew up around my Aunt who would always have two dogs by her side. Usually a German Shepherd and a Labrador, so I am very comfortable with larger breeds and learned how important, exercise, attention and consistency is for a happy dog. I myself am a very energetic person, I enjoy people, animals and company, this is one of the many reasons I wanted to sign up to Rover. For the past two years I've been regularly looking after my friends poodle, Luna, who you may see in some of my photos. Unfortunately, my friend moved back to London a few months ago and I have found myself missing having the occasional furry friend. Caring for Luna including walking, feeding, playing with her, generally just making sure she was happy while her owner was away (As well as keeping her away from any open bins). Whether it's an energetic walk, playtime or simply keeping a dog company while their owner is out, I'm happy to adapt to their routine and needs :) I am comfortable with both small and large breeds. The largest size I'm able to walk is around Labrador or German Shepherd size and the dogs would need to be reasonably lead trained. I have a spinal condition, so very large dogs that strongly pull on the lead wouldn't be suitable for me to handle safely. I work on a rotating rota (9-5) and receive my schedule about a month in advance. So I usually know my availability several weeks ahead of time. I have two days off each week, which are usually during the week rather than weekends. On those days I'm typically available from morning through to afternoon or early evening. At the moment I've listed my main availability as Monday - Friday, as weekends tend to be busier for me. I can sometimes offer evening visits or occasional overnight stays, particularly when I have two days off in a row. Daytime care hours would roughly be between 8am-6pm dependant on how far I'm travelling. I can only offer pet sitting at the owners home. If we've already built a good relationship, I am always happy to discuss occasional flexibility where possible. When caring for pets, their safety and comfort always comes first. I will always make sure to follow any instructions left by the owner so that the pet can keep to their normal routine as much as possible. Especially if they are young. In the owners home I will ensure that their is fresh water available and they are fed according to their schedule and receive plenty of attention, playtime and exercise (where appropriate). As well as making sure that I am careful when entering and/or leaving a home, so that pets won't slip out. I am also more than happy to provide updates via photos and/or videos to the owners throughout my stay for reassurance that their pet is happy and well looked after.

When we are pet sitting we like to be with them as much as we can. We only pop out briefly as we don't like to think they are stressed and just I like to give them lots of attention. We don't have pets ourselves at the moment so your pet/s will have our full attention. We just enjoy being around them and respect the rules of the household we are looking after.

I love exercising exploring from the beach to the forests and so your pet will be offered plenty of beautiful walks in nature and im not sure who’ll will enjoy it more! I work shift work and so I have days free consistently to spend 1 on 1 with your loved pets. My lifestyle is very active and outdoors and so pets fit naturally in my routine and activity. Working in the emergency services has given me a calm and reassuring approach to all situations — including caring for nervous or elderly pets. “We cannot recommend Dana enough! We approached Dana a couple of months before our honeymoon and she was very kind and accommodating from the start. Dana understood our needs and accommodated accordingly. It was very important for us to make sure Pablo was well looked after and in his own space. Dana did the housesitting for our dog Pablo who has some anxiety issues with going out and she also took great care of the apartment and left it very clean and in great condition. Dana was great with Pablo, she sent plenty of updates and dedicated a lot of time to play with him. Overall, Dana was exactly what we needed and we couldn’t have asked for more. Pablo has made a new friend and we were so impressed that we asked Dana to look after him again soon! Thanks again Dana!”

About: I spend most of my time between Bristol, Hereford, London and Sheffield and I provide pet-sitting services nationwide. I grew up with dogs, border collies and jack russell terriers, in the north of England. 20 years in the London rat race (project management) and 12 years of meditation, travel and independent study later... animals are back in my life and taking centre stage, at least for now! Dogs and cats benefit immensely from being in their own environment and having consistency in their daily routine. I recommend conducting a full consultation, either in person or via VC, before committing to a sit. I will have many questions about your loved ones, such as behavioural issues, medical history, likes/dislikes, routine, preferences for play, do's and don'ts, etc. Whenever possible, I prefer to spend a few hours with you and your pets before you leave, just to help them feel at ease after your departure and to ensure I know everything I need to know. My iCloud storage is bursting at the seams with photos and videos of dogs and cats in myriad states of play, rest, love and hilarity. You'll have regular updates and pics to remind you how lucky you are to be returning home.

If you chose me as a walker, I promise the highest standard of care. I have experience with all types of dogs and I am comfortable and have experience with reactive dogs too. I work full time so I will need to work around that schedule but I have some flexibility with my shifts. We will work together before hand for me to understand your pet needs, and I am happy to do a pre meet as well. I am unable to care for pets in my home due to my cat, but I am an experienced pet sitter with high ratings on another site. I follow your instructions to a T and always have my phone on hand in case of an emergency. I can assist with dog training, wash and basic groom and give medication if needed as well. I understand strongly about enrichment and training and will always put your pets needs first.
