About: Growing up we always had a dog who was a special family member. We had springer spaniels and labradors along with an epileptic white cat. I enjoy spending time with dogs, talking to them, grooming them or just playing. We wanted a family dog for years but as our jobs didn’t allow this in the past we were never able to commit as dogs need so much time, love and affection. My current job now allows me to have the time to spend with your dogs instead. I work from home with a flexible work environment that allows me to spend time with your furry friends. Being self employed I am not at the beck and call of a boss, this allows me to enjoy time with your dogs. We have a fenced off back garden where your dog can spend time safely and the house is also a comfortable and relaxing environment. Depending on your dogs needs, I can accommodate any specific requirements. I love spending time with your furry friends ensuring they feel comfortable in their home from home.

About: I love being around dogs whether it be walking or looking after them, I find I am my most happy self around them. Because of this your dog would receive great care and affection and I'd do my best to make them happy too! I have two border collies which I walk everyday. They require ALOT of exercise so I have a knack now of tiring dogs out, I find you can never go wrong with a good tennis ball and a big field. I love walking any breed of dog and find that it is not the breed that determines the dog but it's personality (every dog is different and special in their own way). So I welcome Staffies or any other negatively stereotyped dog, they're all equal in my eyes. I am 21 years old and really would love to build a career in animal care. I live in the middle of the countryside so am used to mud and unfortunate smells....

About: I’ve handled more furry, feathery, and neigh-saying friends than we can count. Growing up, my life was pretty chaotic with a Springer Spaniel who could run laps around a field and a Dachshund who believed she was Queen of the sofa. From big, boisterous pups to tiny divas, I have looked after all breeds and sizes. My grandparents' farm added a few bonus skills to my resume: I’ve wrangled chickens, had a love for horses, and even assisted with breeding a multitude of pups — imagine a real-life Folly Farm in my house! If your pet enjoys long walks, lots of belly rubs, and a a handful of treats, I’m here to help. One of my top priorities is suiting care around your dogs needs and giving medication if needed. I’ve cared for dachshunds that can’t jump, Labradors with dysplasia and dogs who are blind and need a little extra help getting around. Pop me a message if you’re interested in getting in touch. Looking forward to meeting your four-legged friends soon! 🐾 I am currently a freelance artist so my schedule is very flexible and can fit around your needs. My day starts around 5/6am and I walk into the evening hours 7/8pm. I have a car and am fully mobile with lots of space in the back for my furry friends! In my home I have a big garden with lots of space for bigger or smaller dogs - with lots of areas to sniff! If more space is needed I live walking distance away from a large field. My own little fur baby, Daphne the Dachshund, has steps to get around the house and onto higher ground (the sofa). In your home I am happy to follow the routine your dog is used to as this is the most important thing - to keep them comfortable! I am happy to walk around your area in places your dog is used to and happy to bring along other furry friends on walks if your dog is more sociable! if not, and your dog prefers more 1-on-1 time, solo walks are great fun too!

About: In Chepstow, I work from home and love looking after pets. I've been taking care of dogs in and around Chepstow now for 2 years, with especially Snoopy every day for the past 7 months while his owner was at work, but they're moving now to another town 😢 Though I'll miss Snoopy, I'm excited to get back on Rover and meet new furry friends. I grew up on a farm surrounded by animals, so caring for them has always been natural for me. I started walking my neighbor's dog, Rosie, a few times a week after leaving home, and it made me realize how much I enjoy being around animals. It brings me so much happiness to spend time with them, and I can't wait to care for your pets too! I’m currently working a maximum of 2 days in the office a week, which isn’t too far away from where I live, so happy to care for pets during this time as well. When I’m working from home in the week, I’m often stretching my legs at lunchtime and enjoy being outside as much as possible. On the weekends I’m as free as a bird too and love getting out and about in nature! I live in a cosy house with a garden. Outside of my home there is plenty of quiet outside space and lots of places for lovely long walks

About: What sets me apart is my hands-on experience. My family have had two whippets for over 10 years, and I helped care for them through all stages of their lives. This gave me experience with both lively younger dogs and the gentler care older pets need. I’m reliable, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe, happy, and loved, while keeping owners updated for peace of mind. Pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I’m an artist, so I’m often outside working, and I enjoy being active every day. Walking and spending time with pets fits perfectly into that lifestyle. I’m organised, flexible, and make sure caring for pets is always a priority alongside my other commitments. In a pet owner’s home, I follow their routines closely so pets feel comfortable and secure. I make sure they have fresh food, water, exercise, and plenty of attention. I keep their space clean and safe, and I always give updates so owners know their pets are happy and well cared for.

About: I've lived with dogs since I was small and have lots of experience both as an owner and caring for other peoples dogs of all shapes and sizes. I work from home 4 days a week and so am around all day. Happy for early drop off and to do an evening walk before collection. I offer a warm welcome to dog and people friendly dogs in my own home and will only take one dog at a time so they will have all of my attention and find it easier to settle without needing to compete with a pack. My place is 2 minutes walk from a park, it is a terraced house with a secure back garden - I will follow the ground rules set in your own home (dogs on or off the sofa is fine with me!) I have a car with secure travel space for dogs and love to go on adventures to the hills, the beach, the woods. I will keep you up to date with your pets activities through the day. I am also an experienced house sitter and am very happy to provide care for your animal family in their own home when you are away. As well as dogs, I have experience of caring for cats, small animals (mice, rabbits, guinea pigs etc!) fish, reptiles, horses, chickens and ducks, sheep and goats. I love all animals and will treat yours with the love and care they deserve, making sure that they are happy whilst you are away :) I work from home four days a week and can provide a walk for your dog up to three times a day. I live very close to the park and the woods :) I can provide house sitting for weekends or long weekends (Friday to Monday) with longer times possible with notice. Local dog walking available morning, lunch and early evening during the week and flexible times at the weekends I have a fenced garden and access available throughout the day, dogs will be treated like a member of the family. About: I’ve taken care of dogs of all kind ever since I was child, with family pets being a regular figure in my life. I have baby/dog sat overnight many times before, and have looked after friends and families dogs, and also all kinds of dogs since starting Rover. I also have experience with cats, rescuing animals and with wildlife and animal handling/ voluntary experience. I also have experience with dog/puppy training, having trained all our family pets and regularly attended professional dog training sessions. I am happy to train/ work with your dogs/puppies with basic training skills. I am very passionate about animals, especially dogs and cats and am very reliable. I will put your dogs first! I’m currently working and can work from home or in the office, so am completely able to look after dogs full time. My job gives me flexibility as I will have time for walks during the day and plenty of cuddles and attention. I am currently also spending my time volunteering and helping with family. So I have plenty of time to dedicate to your furry pals!! We have a fenced garden and live rurally so there is less of a risk of public interference. I do have dog cages available if those are needed, I don’t normally use them in general practice but it’s an option. Our home is very private, there are many secluded and safe dog walks nearby and we have a large garden for playing and training. We have one cat, but she’s an outdoor cat, is used to dogs and others and doesn’t come inside. Our area is very safe and I ensure all my animals and pets are looked after incredibly well. I will always ensure the safety of the dog first and treat them like my own.

About: Hi there, I’m Lolly:) I have been taking care of family and friends dogs for the last 3 years. I have done volunteer work for a rescue centre near me including cleaning out kennels, feeding and walking dogs. I have done pet sitting for family friends, including walking, feeding, grooming and bathing. I have completed a foundation level 3 animal management diploma which included animal handling, behaviour and health I and received a merit. I am at home most of the time caring for my own 2 dogs. Any dogs I sit for will be my priority throughout the duration they are with me. I have a fenced garden and 2 friendly dogs to keep your pup company. I have access to crates should your dog need to be crated and can leave the back door to the garden open so they can come and go as they please. When caring for pets in an owners home I like to know whether the dogs have any house rules and make sure to adhere to any training they are undergoing. I can stick to schedules, and allow as much outdoor time as needed as I love walking and being outdoors with dogs. I currently work on week days but am considering stopping work to dog sit full time! I currently have plenty of time in the mornings, evenings and weekends to give your pup the time they need. I have a fenced garden and 2 dogs to keep your pup company throughout the duration of their stay. I can keep the dogs separate at night and when out of the house to keep all the dogs happy and safe.
