About: I have been around dogs since I was 7 when we got our first dog (a staff cross German shepherd) and continued to be around them throughout college and university where I studied animal management. I currently own my own business for dogs including training, dogsitting, walking and more. I am DBS checked, Canine first aid qualified, fully insured and much more avaliable on request. I am currently unemployed, most of my income comes from my small business which is my own hours. I can work around whatever timing is required and even regular slots if required For owners home, the reviews on my page speak for themselves. I leave everything as I find it as if it was my own home. I follow as many instructions as required to keep your home cost and comfy ready for your return.

Andrew provided an exceptional service. He was flexible and communicative at all times and was timely for all of the dog walking appointments. Andrew was very kind and considerate given my mothers circumstances going the extra mile to accommodate changing circumstances. We would recommend Andrew unequivocally and will book him next time we need his services.

About: I am very experienced, having looked after over 50 dogs in London and across the UK. I have a handful of owners who only trust me with their pets, I think I just am a bit of a doggy / animal whisperer! Building trust with an animal and making sure they feel loved & cared for is one of the most rewarding things. I am based in Newent and work from home with a large house and big garden. I am currently learning to drive so will either need your pet dropping at mine or your place will need to be accessible via bus. I’d prefer to look after small and medium sized dogs at my house as I live with my parents ( who adore dogs) . For dog / cat sitting at your place I just like to build a good dialogue with you the owner as to what the animals needs are, where they can and can’t go etc.

About: Myself and my partner Mike have had dogs our whole lives growing up, and have been owners of our own rescue Border Collie since 2022. We trained her from a puppy so have experience in doing so. We also have experience with sitting for reactive dogs, and helping to manage these behaviours. So much so, this has led to Mike beginning training to be a dog trainer and canine behaviourist. We struggled to find a sitter for Ivy for a long time who provided everything we wanted for her, so now we are hoping to be able to provide that for other people. Always happy to answer any question or query. Completely open to catering to all schedules as we both work from home, so are able to fit our lives around any dogs we have to stay (which is exactly what we do for our own!), with regard to walks, play time, food, toilet time. We have a fenced back garden & our own Border Collie, so everything in the house is dog proofed for her! She loves having a play mate & we will always make sure the dogs are introduced correctly beforehand (following a protocol we have learned through extensive dog training sessions) to ensure that our pups will enjoy their time together. Ivy is always excited to meet new playmates!

About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. Then 19 years ago I became a dog owner myself. I work from home so I began to look after friends, family and neighbours dogs. I absolutely love dogs, I treat every dog like they’re my own, even if I’ve just met them for five minutes… I am giving kisses. (only if they want them of course) I have a senior dog myself and I looked after a senior dog for a few years so I have experience in older dog care, also having raised three puppies myself so I have knowledge in puppy care. I can promise lots of love, safety, trust and of course kisses. After I walk my dogs at 6.30am… My days are for furry friends either on dog walks, pop ins and house sitting. I have a couple of regular friends but still plenty of space for new friends ☺️ I’m currently not offering boarding due to my sweet girl (elderly lady) dealing with dementia, I need her environment to be calm. House Sitting… I was a babysitter for 10 years for 5 different families, I did some over night stays during that time. I also cleaned at a couple of private houses for 2 years whilst I was studying and I have experience of being a house-sitter.. therefore I am very aware of respectful behaviour when in someone else’s house. I will not share your location or any information regarding your home with anyone. I will keep things clean and tidy up after myself. I don’t smoke or drink. I always take my shoes off. ☺️

About: With over 15 years of experience, I specialise in caring for and training dogs of all sizes to an advanced standard. My expertise extends beyond routine care; I have a particular knack for training puppies, providing specialised attention to senior dogs, and managing lead-reactive dogs. My comprehensive approach to these challenges involves proven training techniques and a deep understanding of canine behaviour. This unique combination of skills enables me to address the specific needs of each pet, ensuring their well-being and helping them to overcome behavioural issues. Pet care is an integral part of my daily routine, seamlessly blending with my personal and professional life. Each day, I allocate specific time slots dedicated to pet care activities, ensuring that the pets I look after receive consistent and attentive care. Mornings typically begin with feeding and walking, setting a positive tone for the day. Throughout the day, I schedule regular check-ins, playtime, and training sessions, tailored to each pet’s needs. I also maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate pet sitting at clients’ homes, understanding that each pet’s requirements and routines might differ. On a weekly basis, I dedicate time for more extended activities like longer walks, trips to a dog park, or special training sessions. This routine not only ensures that the pets are well-cared for but also allows me to manage my time effectively. In addition, I stay prepared for emergency situations or unexpected changes in the schedule. My commitment to pet care is unwavering, and I always prioritize the health and happiness of the pets in my care, ensuring they receive the best possible attention every day. When caring for pets in their owner’s home, my focus is on maintaining the pet’s regular routine in their familiar environment. This minimises stress and anxiety for the pet. I follow the owner’s specific instructions for feeding, walking, and any medication schedules. I also ensure the home is secure and respect the owner’s privacy. Regular updates and photos are provided to the owner to assure them of their pet’s well-being. When it comes to walking dogs, their safety and enjoyment are my top priorities. I always assess the dog’s temperament and physical ability to determine the best route and duration for their walks. For lead-reactive dogs or those with specific behavioural needs, I choose quieter routes to avoid stressful encounters. I use sturdy, appropriate leashes and harnesses to ensure control and comfort. During walks, I remain vigilant about their surroundings, avoiding potential hazards like aggressive animals or unsafe areas. I also carry water, treats, and first-aid essentials to address their needs promptly. My goal is to make each walk a positive and safe experience, allowing the dogs to explore and exercise in a secure manner. This unique combination of skills enables me to address the specific needs of each pet, ensuring their well-being and helping them to overcome behavioural issues. This dedication to addressing complex canine behaviours sets me apart in the field of pet sitting.”

About: Hi, I’m Georgia. I've been animal-obsessed ever since I can remember. Since my Nan & Pop's labradors that sparked it all, I've looked after animals of all shapes and sizes. From my flock of runner ducks, three cats, to living on a farm with horses, goats and cows. In the last two years I've regularly cared for two senior dogs. Walking, exercising, bathing, grooming, playing and of course cuddling. Dogs > humans all day! I've got three cats of my own, all rescues; one moggie and two bengals. I love hanging out with them, playing, and setting up enrichment activities for them to explore. I treat every animal as my own, their safety and experience being my top priority. Whether your pup(s) love a lazy day on the sofa, long walks through the forest, a playdate in a secure dog field or a high energy brain stimulating training session, I've got you covered. Need your chickens checked whilst you're away? No problem. Looking after new feline friends, litter box cleaning, feeding and playtime whilst you're holidaying? Just let me know. Why choose me? ✨ Young professional seeking companionship and new friends, who doesn’t have their own dog due to shift work ✨ I’m reliable and a good communicator; youll be confident pups will be in safe hands whilst you are away. Don’t worry you’ll get (maybe too many) photos of our adventures. ✨ DBS checked and references provided on request ✨ Your pup will come home exhausted and happy, most of all clean! Your home will be exactly as you left it I work two days a week (shift work), therefore, my availability will change from week to week. Outside of those times, I can be completely flexible for you and your pets. In your home and whilst out on walks, I will ensure your pup(s) safety at all times. I'm happy crating, using slip/clip/halti leads or anything else that is part of your current routine for your dog. Exclusively indoor cats? I can ensure your feline friend stays safe at home.
