About: There has never been a time in my life I haven't had a dog as a best friend. I have had many experiences with many different types and characters of dogs. I’ve helped with gun dog training, looking after litters of puppies and elderly dogs. In addition, I have experience in grooming dogs as I have been grooming my own dogs and friends dogs for the last few years. I respect and care for each dog to the highest level possible acting as though they are my own. I’ve just finished my a levels, so I have lots of spare time to look after your pets. Although I work part time I don’t have many hours per week allowing more time to walk or dog sit your dog. I would treat your beloved pet the same way I’d treat my own pets, with respect and attention. I have secure safety harnesses if I need to take them in my car, and I have any equipment necessary for providing your dog with the best level of care.

About: I have grown up with small dogs since I was born until I was 21 as that’s when I moved out my family home to move to Thornbury. My sister owns a white Frenchie called Boris who I walk on a regular when visiting as my sister is a uni student. He is an energetic stinky boy who loves the attention and be as close to you as possible at all times. Many of my friends have dogs so when visiting their home they always give me the best greetings. When my friends are on holiday I would regularly pop into their home either in the day or the evening to check on their dogs, keep them company and to play. I am a first time mum to a little boy who was born in December 2024 so I am currently on maternity leave until August 2025. To make some extra money whilst on maternity I thought this would be a great opportunity to get some exercise, money and also get my little boy use to being round dogs until we’re ready to welcome a pup into the family. My son wouldn’t always be with me, I will mainly be on my own when doing drop ins or dog walking. However I will always ask for your consent if have to be present as I aware not all dogs are fans of babies. When visiting your home for a walk/ drop in I will greet your dog(s) with lots of love and happiness to make them feel comfortable. We will have a little bit of a play or a cuddle and work around what they want to do :)

About: I have grown up with animals my whole life, dogs, cats, horses… you name it! And i love every single one of them. I have trained my puppy and she is an angel. I have cared for friends and family’s dogs and cats many times, this includes, walking, washing, feeding and of course fussing!!! I’m currently working part time which means i have a lot more play time available and would love to spend that with my fluffy friends! I have a fenced back garden which is plenty big enough for more furry friends. I have a dog crate if needed and can provide food and water bowls if required. I live in a safe neighbourhood surrounded by countless fields for beautiful walks.

About: Just because you are away doesn't mean your pet can't have fun also, we have an age of experience with our own pets in the past and also having been on the trusted pet sitters web site, where we became the go to people for many, to look after their dogs and homes, now we are again settled after some traveling, we would like to offer our home to your pets whilst you are away. We will give your special ones the same level of care, pampering, walks you do and possibly treats ( as you wont be here ). We absolutely love the outdoors and walking and a furry companion would really enhance these from time to time, we live on the edge of the Forest of Dean and have a great vets in the local town, ensuring all your pets needs are met no matter what. foe the peace of mind you are searching for just give us a shout. My wife is retired and is home all week, I work a four day week and have all my mornings and evenings free, we have a three day weekend to ensure your pet would be our number one priority during their stay with us. We have a lovely enclosed garden and open plan home, where your pet would have free roam, we have a great home, not a show house, so your pet can feel at home during their stay with us, as I have said we are on the edge of the Forest of Dean, with woodland, fields and streams very near by, for shorter walks we have the local lake and woodland five mins walk away. We would work with yourselves to ensure the level of care and attention your pet needs are met, including medications, bathing and dietary.

About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets (mainly dogs) since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. Then 18 years ago I became a dog owner myself. I now work from home so I began to look after friends, family and neighbours dogs. I absolutely love dogs, I treat every dog like they’re my own, even if I’ve just met them for five minutes… I am giving kisses. (only if they want them of course) I have a senior dog myself and I looked after a senior dog for a few years so I have experience in older dog care, also having raised three puppies myself I have some knowledge in puppy care. I can promise lots of love, safety, trust and of course kisses.. with the dogs! 😉 I work from home only for a couple of hours a day and this can be at any point during the day so I am quite flexible. ☺️ My two girls (golden retriever and working cocker) are my best friends so I want the best environment for them, Therefore we have a large fenced grass garden with a 4ft solid wooden gate. We also have a small stone secure back garden which is accessible only through the kitchen. There is plenty of room inside our house for fun, my two girls like to play hide and seek the green beans. There is plenty of room for a crate if you would like your dog to be in one. There is also a second lounge which is used as a safe space and quiet room for new furry guests if they are feeling overwhelmed when they first arrived. There are lots of walks on my doorstep, great for doggies who don’t like to travel in the car (I have one of those) for those who do travel well we occasionally go to a wood which has lots of great sniffs and is only 10 minutes away and sometimes I hire a secure field 15 minutes away which has agility equipment and lots of space to run. My dogs are free to roam the house and are allowed on the sofas, your doggie whilst at our home will be treated like mine unless you say otherwise regarding sofas, upstairs etc. As for house sitting… I was a babysitter from the ages of 15 - 25 (and did some long weekend stays), I also cleaned at a couple of private houses whilst I was studying and I have been a house-sitter occasionally.. therefore I am very aware of respectful behaviour when in someone else’s house. I will not share your location or any information regarding your home with anyone. And I take my shoes off when I come into your house. ☺️

About: I have a dog at home which before attending university had always been my responsibility to look after. My favorite part about caring for my dog is going for long waterfall or woodland walks! I’m currently a first year university student so have Mondays and Wednesdays without lectures, giving me plenty of time to care & love you pet(s)! I can’t currently offer pet sitting in my own home as I’m in university accommodation but I’m more than happy to come give you a hand at home etc!!

About: I previously had a husky for ten years who had no recall and was reactive, so I’m used to walking dogs on leads and hiding behind trees if needed! 🙈since I lost my husky last year I’ve looked after friends and family dogs at weekends which have ranged from spaniels to labs to Hungarian vizla. I love having a dog in the house and like to make sure they feel at home and give them lots of attention and walks. I currently work full time in the week so can only offer weekend stays. When I’m home at the weekend there’s nothing more I enjoy then going on dog walks. I have a fully enclosed garden and no pets in the house so any dog would get my full attention and be safe and secure. My garden backs on to fields a plenty for a good place for an adventurous walk.

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover who grew up with dogs — taking them on walks, playing fetch, teaching them tricks, and attending training classes. For the past two years, I regularly looked after my best friend’s dog, and I also care for other dogs during holiday periods. Although I don’t currently have a dog of my own, I am a real homebody who loves a cosy, calm environment — perfect for dogs who enjoy a peaceful home. I also love borrowing my partner’s parents’ Golden Retriever, Merlin, on weekends for short walks and playtime in the garden (he’s getting a little older now, so I have to take it easy with him!). There are no children in the home, and I have a secure outdoor space that visiting dogs can enjoy. I live in a beautiful area with lots of fantastic walking routes and am excited to find a lovely dog to take on walks and welcome into my home. I’m usually available on weekday evenings,Fridays all day, weekends, and during holidays. Your dog will be treated like part of the family with plenty of love, attention, and care! I work Monday to Thursday but have Fridays off, as well as weekends and holidays — which gives me plenty of time to give your dog the love, attention, and care they deserve. Your dog will be welcomed into a calm, loving home with no children or other pets around, making it ideal for dogs who prefer a quieter environment. We have a secure, fenced yard where they can safely enjoy some fresh air and playtime. I make sure they get plenty of attention, regular walks, and lots of affection — just as I would treat my own dog.

About: Myself and my partner Mike have had dogs our whole lives growing up, and have been owners of our own rescue Border Collie for the past two years. We trained her from a puppy so have experience in doing so. Mike has also had cats for his whole life, as well as us both cat-sitting for family on several occasions. We also have experience with sitting for reactive dogs, and helping to manage these behaviours. We struggled to find a sitter for Ivy for a long time who provided everything we wanted for her, so now we are hoping to be able to provide that for other people. Always happy to answer any question or query. Completely open to catering to all schedules as we both work from home, so are able to fit our lives around any dogs we have to stay (which is exactly what we do for our own!), with regard to walks, play time, food, toilet time. We have a fenced back garden & our own 2 year old Border Collie, so everything in the house is dog proofed for her! She loves having a play mate & we will always make sure the dogs are introduced correctly beforehand (following a protocol we have learned through extensive dog training sessions) to ensure that our pups will enjoy their time together. Ivy is always excited to meet new playmates!

“Chloe is a lovely, caring young lady who absolutely adores all animals. She is very reliable and responsible and regularly comes to my home to let out my dog whilst I am at work. Her love for animals is obvious and I would 100% recommend her for this role.”

Faylee O.
“Faylee has been a life saver when it comes to looking after our very beloved dog, Barney. I work as home as a childminder, so sometimes Barney doesn’t get a look in while we have a house full of children to look after. It’s really given me more time to set up at home before I start work and just knowing that she pops in, knows what she’s doing and takes him for a walk for us means the world! We have also had Faylee come in and check on Barney when we have had family days out. We love to plan days out where Barney is involved, however with two small children, sometimes this isn’t always possible. This has given us peace of mind that he’s looked after well, even when we aren’t around. Thank you again!”

Kerryn L.
“Kerryn has been an animal lover for her whole life. She and our dog bonded from the moment we brought her home! Daily dog walks were a part of her routine. But realistically what happened was her love of animals growing with every petting farm we visited and every encounter. The true test of course was more than that! The true test was, despite being a teenager, despite the weather, Kerryn was willing and ready to take the dog out or walk the horses in a coating of snow or a downpour for a little exercise, with the dog out ahead. A true partnership! Until that point came when going for a walk in the countryside felt pointless without a dog to accompany her! University removed that pleasure but Kerryn could help you out and find that purpose for walking again and give your dog the exercise and pleasure they need!”

Rebecca R.
“My dog loves Becky more than he loves me 😅 Lovely long walks, cuddles, and a home from home, my dog always enjoys his holidays to Becky's house. I highly recommend ❤️”

Gabrielle K.
“Gabrielle has looked after Bran, my labradoodle, multiple times now. He always comes back as a happy dog who has had lots of treats and cuddles. Gabrielle has always been a pleasure to deal with and I wouldn’t hesitate to leave him with her again!”

Sophia T.
“I have been using Sophia for the past 2 years, everytime I drop off my dog he bounces over to sophia as if they have known each other his whole life. I've got 0 complaints everytime I collect he is clean and you can tell he is well looked after. I highly recommend Sophia she is lovely and has a huge love for dogs.”

Sidonie C.
“Sid has house sat for our three dogs on numerous occasions and we have always gone away and had a completely relaxing time as we have always been so happy that our dogs are with Sid. She has grown up with dogs and is very competent, loving and intuitive with dogs. She loves walking and will definitely be more than happy to walk as far as necessary for your dogs. She always sends us pics and updates on our dogs and they never seem to miss us when she is there. In fact I think they miss her when we are back! Sid also loves to clean and my house always looks so much nicer when we have come home! I can highly recommend Sid for pet sitting, dog walking and all things dog related. She is very trustworthy and lovely human all round.”

Bethany H.
“Beth takes care of my dog for me when I go on holiday. I wouldn’t ask anybody else, she is attentive to my dogs needs and send me pictures when she’s with him so that I know he is okay!”

Madalina B.
“Madalina stayed in my home with my 12 month old Vizsla for 4 nights whilst my partner and I enjoyed a break abroad. She followed all my instructions around my dog's care and was very interested in learning all about him, his training and his commands. I felt very at ease whilst she was in my home. She provided me with regular updates on their day/walks and sent pictures daily. I could not recommend her enough!”

Ella G.
“Ella has a wonderful dog called Ivy. She and Ivy have looked after our two dogs on numerous occasions. Ella makes our dogs feel so special and welcomes them into her family. I highly recommend Ella she is 100% reliable and I trust her totally.”
