“Brilliant sitter, loads of pictures and videos. Our dog, Rosie, was so happy with George and clearly was made to feel like part of the family whilst she was staying. Will absolutely recommend and use again”

“We cannot recommend Lisa highly enough! We were initially very anxious about leaving Luna in someone else’s care after a previous bad experience at a dog kennel. Luna is a sensitive Vizsla—she can be nervous around other dogs, cautious around men, and isn’t comfortable around children—so finding the right sitter was incredibly important to us. We travelled 70 miles to make this work. From the start, Lisa was brilliant at building trust and forming a relationship with Luna. We were especially impressed that although Luna can be unsure around men, Lisa’s partner took the time to patiently build a bond with her, which made a huge difference. One of the things that really stood out to us was that Lisa only cares for one dog at a time. This gave us real peace of mind, as we had seen other sitters taking multiple dogs at once, which wouldn’t have suited Luna. While we were away, Lisa kept us regularly updated with photos and videos. This meant so much to us, especially as it was the first time we’d been apart from Luna for such a long time. The updates truly reflected Luna’s personality, and it was clear she felt comfortable, relaxed, and happy. Luna was exercised brilliantly, with plenty of great walks—perfect for such a high-energy dog. Lisa also maintained Luna’s usual routine, which really reassured us and helped ensure a smooth transition back home with no disruption. When we collected Luna, it was obvious how happy and settled she had been. She was relaxed, affectionate, and clearly had formed a strong bond with both Lisa and her partner. We would 100% recommend Lisa to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitter. You will not regret it—and we will definitely be leaving Luna with her again in the future!”

“Outstanding service, Moss had a fabulous time and we received regular updates with photos. Highly recommend we will definitely use again. Thank you Olivia, Blake and Widge. XXX”

“Our Talula had a great stay! She was extremely well looked after and came home very happy. We had daily updates on the nice time she was having. I'm sure Talula is looking forward to her next stay.”

“Ottilie had a great time staying with Louise. She was very well looked after and clearly had a lovely time. Would happily use Louise's services again. Thank you!”

“Mark and Helen were fantastic with Milly, when my husband collected her she was full of beans, it was obvious she had a great time. They are very nice people who love dogs, the communication was great we received photos and messages daily with updates. We wouldn't hesitate to leave Milly with them again, we can highly recommend Mark and Helen. Thank you so much for taking such good care of our little Milly monster. Bill and Lynn”

“Willow had a lovely time with Beth and Dan and their red fox lab Darcy. Willow is a very bouncy 5 month old working cocker spaniel and I was concerned she would be too annoying. However, it seems that Darcy and Willow had a lovely time playing and the photos and videos they sent showed willow looking quite calm at times which is rare! Beth and Dan have had lots of experience with many breeds of dogs and put my mind at ease when we visited for a meet and greet. I would happily have Willow stay with them again as I know she’d have a great time.”

“Very thankful to Kady and her family. She looked after Dexter (9 month springer spaniel) for 1 night and he came back shattered and slept for hours. Will 100% use her services again. Thank you”

“Rachel was amazing. Can’t recommend her highly enough. Our dog was well looked after and she sent loads of pics to reassure us all was well. She provided a loving home and treated our dog as if she was her own.”

“Louise took great care of our puppy Seymour while we were away over the weekend. She sent us amazing video updates of his adventures. He got to play with other dogs and even swim in a stream. We will definitely book her again.”

“Once again thankyou for having Ember and all the updates. We wouldn't want to leave her anywhere else. I think she is missing Rufus though but will see him again when she stays next time. P”

About: I have always had contact with dogs, cats and hamsters ...as a child and as a dog owner for 12 years, previously my family over the years owned Yorkies, Poodles,West Highland Terriers, Germany shepherds. Charlie My Cavashon passed away at the age of 12 years, unexpectedly, his doggy companion Tea Cup Yorkie Daisy misses him desperately, she is 14 years. Charlie was a well behaved dog well traveled too and would go everywhere with me and my partner as does Daisy. Charlie was raised from a puppy and attended training classes, he was devoted to me as I was to him. If a cafe, restaurant, garden centre isn't dog friendly we wouldn't visit. I currently work part time and do some volunteering at the dog trust. I have the time to walk your dog, and if they are good travellers in the car I would take your dog on some lovely walks. My home is their home I have a large fenced safe garden lots of grass, there is a furbaby female teacup yorkie who is 14 years. she would love some company. I don't have a crate.
“This was Buddy's 2nd stay with Roz and he enjoyed his holiday, which meant we could enjoy ours. We received regular updates and pictures which helped put our minds at rest. He appears to have had a really good time and would love to stay with Roz again. We definitely would use Roz again as know he is well looked after. Thank you so much Roz 🐾”

“Oscar had another wonderful time staying with Jodie and her family. He especially loved all the super cuddles and hugs!! He’s always happy to go there as he feels like part of the family 🥰”

“Lovely lady, put me at ease straight away and I knew Teddy would be well cared for. Great communication and photos. We will see you hopefully next time we are in the area as Teddy would love to serenade you some more.😏”

“Barry had the best time with Sol, we had daily videos and pictures, meaning we could enjoy our holiday knowing how happy he was. I know Barry would be so happy to visit again. Many thanks Sol.”

“Annie did a great job looking after our Maine Coon. She was also kind enough to meet him before we went on our trip and Kermit instantly took a liking to her, which like almost any cat, is not common for him. Report cards were thorough and always had more than one picture attached.”

“We can't thank Melisa enough for the care and love she gave to our 3 fur babies (cats) whilst we were away for our holiday. One kept finding new places to hide every day but Melisa found her and went above and beyond to make sure she was ok and eating. We could not have gone away without knowing that everything would be alright at home. Melisa is a warm kind lady with a love for what she does, when we met her we knew she was perfect for us so we could relax and have a lovely holiday. We can't recommend her highly enough, we don't go away often but would not hesitate to welcome her in to our home again to care for our beloved cats.”

“I will always use Tasha whenever I go away. She is so attentive to my 2 cats and always goes above and beyond to make sure they are both happy and cared for. Her updates every check in are a massive plus - always lots of detail and updates with pictures! Thank you so much Tasha, makes going away so much more enjoyable knowing my little ones are cared for 🫶🏻”

“Maisie stepped in to cover Odie's usual sitter and everything went seamlessly. Odie seems to have taken to her very well (he is a good judge of character 🤭) and he was nice and calm when I got home. It's so good to find someone who is reliable and happy to spend time with him.”

“Daisy was communicative and prompt and very calm and gentle with my puppy. She messaged if needed and took some gorgeous photos. I felt that he was safe with her. Definitely recommend, thanks Daisy !”

About: I have grown up with dogs all of my life and have one myself. I’ve always enjoyed playing with them and getting to know them. I currently work shifts as a Health Care Assistant at Royal Preston Hospital but I am free on my days off. I can be flexible. I look after my Standard Poodle Florence who I take for a walk twice a day and play with her in the garden on my days off.
About: After begging my whole life, I finally was allowed to get my own dog back in 2021. I got Ivy (my dog) as a puppy and completed all her training by myself. I think I’d read just about every dog training and behaviour book on the market so I could give Ivy the best environment possible. While I got very lucky with Ivy’s temperament, I have been a sitter for reactive dogs before. One dog in particular whom I have walked on occasion (but mostly did home visits) was very reactive and anti-social. I did meetings with the owner present to ensure the dog was comfortable with me before completing home visits alone. While on walks, it was imperative to keep this dog away from all other dogs, especially off-leash ones. I picked routes that ensured encountering minimal other people, and when we did come across other dog walkers I simply moved a fair distance off the path and held Frankie’s (the dog) attention using treats and positive reinforcement. By ensuring she kept her focus on me until the people had passed, it kept her reactivity to a minimum. Her reactivity was triggered by fear and anxiety, so avoidance of such situations meant that she was comfortable and therefore a pleasure to walk. I have experience sitting/walking dogs of all ages (including puppies and seniors) and feel comfortable with all breeds/sizes. I’m currently a university student, and with summer coming up I will have plenty of free time! I recognise the importance of reliability within pet-care and can promise to communicate my availability in advance. I have a fenced garden and space for a crate if necessary (however you would have to provide this equipment). Apart from larger equipment (like a crate/car cage, etc.) I can provide most things myself, such as food and water bowls, toys, treats, leash, etc. However these are mostly there as a ‘just in case’ option, as it is always better to use equipment your pet is already familiar with to avoid any discomfort or stress.

About: I have had cats from a young age, looking after both kittens and older cats with very different personalities. This has given me a natural understanding of how to approach each cat individually, whether they are playful, shy, or a little anxious. I’m patient, gentle, and always take the time to build trust, making sure every cat feels comfortable and secure while in my care
“Tom was excellent in looking after our lovely cat Poppy. He was incredibly flexible and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure Poppy was cared for well. As Tom also did day visits a number of times, it was important for us to feel comfortable with Tom in our home. He was the perfect sitter, clean, tidy and helpful with the odd request we had to do with the house too!!! Poppy warmed up to Tom quickly and we were really happy with how everything worked out! Will definitely be using Tom again!!!”

“Hannah was absolutely brilliant. She stayed with my three cats who have dietary requirements, medication and one who needs injected medication. She cared for them as if they were her own which means so much to me. She was in regular contact and sent lots of photos as requested. I really felt like my kitties were in great hands with Hannah and I couldn’t recommend her highly enough!”

“Becky is lovely. Teddy clicked with her immediately and treated her like a long lost friend. This was Becky's first visit to our house and I felt very comfortable with her. She clearly understands dogs very well and behaves in an affectionate and kind way towards them. I will definitely be in touch with Becky again.”

About: I’ve grown up around cats for most of my life and have experience caring for cats of all ages and personalities, including multiple litters of kittens. At one stage, our family home had 18 cats, so I’m very comfortable and confident around both independent and affectionate cats alike. I understand that every cat is different — some love attention and cuddles, while others prefer calm companionship and their own space — and I always take the time to build trust at their pace and follow their normal routines as closely as possible. Whether your cat needs feeding, company, playtime, medication support, litter cleaning or simply a reassuring presence while you’re away, I’ll always provide patient, loving and attentive care to help them feel safe and comfortable in their own home.

“Abi was fabulous. She not only looked after our two cats over the new year holidays, but she gave them their meds, and left the house, cleaner than when she arrived…. We would recommend her time and time again, and although she is a bit dearer than others in the area, it is well worth the extra. Kind regards Simon and Carole Percival If any one would like to speak to us direct please message though Facebook.”

“Great communication, Georgia lives in a gated estate - so no risk of nearby roads. My two dogs were always happy when they realised where they were. I felt they were loved and looked after”
“Lisa is an amazing dog sitter! You can tell that she loves dogs and is very experienced in their care. Leia had such a lovely time with Lisa, playing with the toys, exploring the garden and having cuddles, she didn’t even want to leave when I arrived to pick her up, which is a good sign of just how happy she was with Lisa. On another note, Lisa was very patient and accommodating when my plans changed. I would have no hesitation in recommending Lisa and will be getting Leia booked in for a return visit soon.”

“Louise is a great dog sitter. She sent photos and an update of Toffee, showing that he was settled in at her home and relaxed. This is great to know. I would thoroughly recommend Louise and will be booking Toffee in with her again soon. Thanks Kevin”

“Can highly recommend Mathew. He took excellent care of our dog zeus for a long evening/ night and we come back to a happy dog. Great communication, care which is important. Thank you so much.”

“We left our dog Eddie with Rachael while we visited Amberley. Eddie has a little bit of separation anxiety when we leave him alone. Racheal took great care of him and made sure he was looked after. She sent us videos and pic updates. Recommend highly if you are looking to leave your dog in good hands.”

“Joyce and family took fantastic care of Gina, she took to them instantly on the meet and greet which was very reassuring before her stay started. Joyce gave lots of daily updates and made sure Gina was so well looked after with lots of walks, garden time, cuddles and care given to make her feel as settled and comfortable as possible. Would highly recommended and book again for future trips. Thanks a million.”

“Christine and Craig are very welcoming and made me feel at ease from the start. I was a bit worried at first because Yuki is a big dog and can be a challenge when it comes to socialisation, but they clearly know how to handle her with care and confidence. They kept me updated with photos and messages about how Yuki was doing, which gave me great peace of mind and helped me feel connected to my pup. They were also quick to respond and always friendly when answering my questions. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for caring and reliable dog sitters!”

“Stanley loved his stay at Danielle's - I think he has been missing being part of a group, my older dog passed and my daughter's dog moved out with her, so he enjoyed the company. Danielle is very knowledgeable about dogs and she is helpful in assessing and monitoring his recovery from an injury.”

“First stay with Louise, who was very welcoming. He had a great day, a walk in the woods, company from other dogs and home comforts. Louise really understood Harry and we wouldn’t hesitate to leave Harry in her care again.”

“Thank you so much for looking after Billy for the day! I think he loved his time with you! We were a little anxious to leave him but you put us at ease straight away! I’m sure Billy would love to come back, if you’d have him! 😊”

I also have 4 cats who have been the first encounter for many dogs which I am happy to do with the owner here if your dog hasn’t been around cats before. As long as i have notice i can ensure we’re home all day if need be for your dogs anxiety I am in a ground floor flat, I have my own fenced garden and a field nearby which dogs absolutely love to go and have a run around. About: I have hands on experience caring for a range of pets. I currently have two pups, an energetic, young (and very greedy) chocolate lab called pickle and my polite senior shih tzu called chops, who I have cared for since they were puppies. My family and friends always rely on me to look after their pets as I always jump at the offer! I treat my animals as if they were part of the family, with love and compassion. I also have experience looking after cats, bunnies and chickens ❤️ I am currently studying my masters in landscape architecture at the university of glos - but this is something I mostly do from home so I have lots of free time to look after pets too. You will be staying with my two fur babies: pickle and chops, who are very friendly and great with other dogs - both quite submissive in nature and will give you space if you need it. I have a large secure fenced garden next to the beautiful forest where we go for daily long walks. Chops is a senior boy so a walk around our land is even enough for him most of the time. I live with my parents who work 9-5 but are also dog lovers and can help me out on weekends/days off. I enjoy walking with the dogs but equally enjoy a chilled out snuggle on the sofa!

About: I am very experienced, having looked after over 50 dogs in London and across the UK. I have a handful of owners who only trust me with their pets, I think I just am a bit of a doggy / animal whisperer! Building trust with an animal and making sure they feel loved & cared for is one of the most rewarding things. I am based in Newent and work from home with a large house and big garden. I am currently learning to drive so will either need your pet dropping at mine or your place will need to be accessible via bus. I’d prefer to look after small and medium sized dogs at my house as I live with my parents ( who adore dogs) . For dog / cat sitting at your place I just like to build a good dialogue with you the owner as to what the animals needs are, where they can and can’t go etc.
“Booked Matthew for 6days walking for a 4yr old lurcher. He was reliable ,always turning up on time.ffyn appeared to enjoy his hour long walks and was totally relaxed in the evenings.I would recommend Matthew.”
“Andrew provided an exceptional service. He was flexible and communicative at all times and was timely for all of the dog walking appointments. We would recommend Andrew unequivocally and will book him next time we need his services.”
“Izabela instantly hit it off with my dog, we used the walk as an opportunity to meet before we leave Izabela with our boy for a week. I feel so reassured that he will be looked after and can enjoy our holiday relatively guilt free!”

About: I previously had a husky for ten years who had no recall and was reactive, so I’m used to walking dogs on leads and hiding behind trees if needed! 🙈since I lost my husky last year I’ve looked after friends and family dogs at weekends which have ranged from spaniels to labs to Hungarian vizla. I love having a dog in the house and like to make sure they feel at home and give them lots of attention and walks. I currently work full time in the week so can only offer weekend stays. When I’m home at the weekend there’s nothing more I enjoy then going on dog walks. I have a fully enclosed garden and no pets in the house so any dog would get my full attention and be safe and secure. My garden backs on to fields a plenty for a good place for an adventurous walk.
About: I earned money in my local neighbourhood through caring for dogs from regular drops in to holiday cover/house sitting. We have always had a family dog who I have loved caring for. This has taken us from young puppies to elderly dogs. I am currently working to self finance my uni degree in sports science. I am fairly flexible with scheduling so should be able to work around you I like to meet the owners and pet to understand what the owner wants and to make the dog feel comfortable and know what he or she likes or dislikes.
“Sophie is amazing and we will be going back time and time again! Beans loved her and Sophie went above and beyond for him during his walks, but also in easing any worries whilst I was out of the country! Lots of pictures and updates and I was able to see how tired and happy he was on my return!! Thank you so much 🧡”

About: I have grown up with dogs all of my life and have one myself. I’ve always enjoyed playing with them and getting to know them. “Thank you for your help walking our boy. He loves it and gets so excited when you arrive, plus it has support us due circumstances at mo. Thank you again for your understanding and support.”

About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. Then 19 years ago I became a dog owner myself. I work from home so I began to look after friends, family and neighbours dogs. I absolutely love dogs, I treat every dog like they’re my own, even if I’ve just met them for five minutes… I am giving kisses. (only if they want them of course) I have a senior dog myself and I looked after a senior dog for a few years so I have experience in older dog care, also having raised three puppies myself so I have knowledge in puppy care. I can promise lots of love, safety, trust and of course kisses. After I walk my dogs at 6.30am… My days are for furry friends either on dog walks, pop ins and house sitting. I have a couple of regular friends but still plenty of space for new friends ☺️ I’m currently not offering boarding due to my sweet girl (elderly lady) dealing with dementia, I need her environment to be calm. House Sitting… I was a babysitter for 10 years for 5 different families, I did some over night stays during that time. I also cleaned at a couple of private houses for 2 years whilst I was studying and I have experience of being a house-sitter.. therefore I am very aware of respectful behaviour when in someone else’s house. I will not share your location or any information regarding your home with anyone. I will keep things clean and tidy up after myself. I don’t smoke or drink. I always take my shoes off. ☺️

I offer dog walks seven days a week, including weekends, and I am flexible with timings, including later evening walks if needed. As a passionate runner, I am also happy to offer both short and long runs for energetic dogs, depending on their fitness level and needs. Walks and runs can range from 30 minutes to over an hour based on your pet’s routine and preferences. Additionally, I am comfortable administering oral and ear medications if required. Please feel free to get in touch with any questions, I would love to meet you and your pets! I have recently moved home for a period of time, so my availability for petsitting is full-time. I can dedicate all day to walking, playing and spending time with pets as needed. Following the owner’s guidance, I prioritise the safety and well-being of every pet in my care. I have experience working with anxious dogs and take all necessary precautions to ensure they feel calm, secure, and comfortable at all times. Where a dog is sensitive to busy or stressful environments, I choose quieter routes and off-peak times for walks to ensure they remain comfortable and relaxed.

XXX”

“Louise took great care of our puppy Seymour while we were away over the weekend. She sent us amazing video updates of his adventures. He got to play with other dogs and even swim in a stream. We will definitely book her again.”

“Max and her lovely family took our booking at short notice and our dog Chay had the best time. He came back home and was worn out from all the excitement. We will definitely be booking again in the future. Thank you”

About: I like animals. I've always had pets. I have the patience and desire to take care of dogs. I sense what they need and I'm happy to give it to them. I am available for accommodation anytime, any day of the week. Long walks in parks, time spent in the garden, and fun company are available. My name is Tanya. I'm a housewife and have plenty of time to take care of the dog. I live in a reasonably sized house wich has a large fenced rear garden where your dog can be safe, as well as bask in the sun, lie in the shade or play and run. I have a Paterdale Terrier ourseves, named Django. He's 2 years old. He's obedient and friendly. Django always welcomes company. I love my dogwalks. There are many parks and scenic terrains near my house where our dog can enjoy our strolls. If your dog enjoys cuddling on the couch or spending time indoors, that's also available. I'll be happy to provide your dog with everything it needs and level of care you expect. Feel free to ask me any questions. I'll be happy to answer them.
“I found Joyce at the last minute before my holiday, we arranged a meet and greet and straight away I knew Billy would be fine with her as within 5 minutes he was going to her for fusses! I left him for just over 3 weeks and I had regular updates and photos of Billy out on walks and playing. I would definitely recommend Joyce as a dog sitter, I know if I ever need anyone I shall always ask Joyce first.”

“The friendliest sitter around. Zion was well looked after. This was the second time we left him with Kristen and he ran straight into the house like it was his best friend's place ☺️”
