About: I have always been around dogs since I was a boy, I used to be terrified of them but have grown in a deep lover of dogs. I am reliable and caring setting of hands that can be entrusted to take care of your pets. My gran over the years brought home an eceletic collection of dogs from the homeless shelter she worked in. The different dogs that came back with her have been a variety of ages, breeds, sizes and personalities. I've always been helped to look after them whether it's feeding, walking or just some belly scratches. Currently, I live with my parents and their long-term foster dog Lucky, a roundabout 3 year old, super super friendly Golden Retriever. I also helped my parents raise two rather excitable (and challenging) Beagles so if you're pet friend is a bundle of energy then I have the experience (and patience) to take care of them ✌️ Excited by the opportunity to meet more furry friends. I work from home in Drybrook, Gloucestershire on Wednesdays and work in Malvern the rest of the week. I am happy to stay over to dogsit all evenings and weekends. I can keep your dogs over weekends. I have a safe and securely fenced garden that is open and easy for your dog to access all day. They are happy to play with Lucky, a 3 year old super friendly Golden Retriever, who enjoys the company of other dogs. I am surrounded by woodland and a nearby park which are great for short or longs walks.

About: All dogs welcome 🐾 Based in the Forest of Dean with beautiful woodland adventures. Can cater for puppies to senior pets, happy to accommodate any additional needs. I am a registered Veterinary Nurse so am more than happy to administer any medication needed. I have years of experience with a wide range of breeds and behaviours. Your dog will be with my own two friendly boys, so must be comfortable with other dogs. They will have so much fun on their walks together! Must be up to date with vaccines and parasite control. However, I do ask that you are happy for your dog to be left for up to 4 hours. Will care for your pet in my own home, very trustworthy and clean. Lots of room in my home, with plenty of cozy dog beds and dog sofa! Must get on with other dogs as I have two of my own friendly boys, to include a 5yo male Labrador and 2yo male Springer Spaniel. Both of my dogs are brilliant with others, but when left alone, your dog will be kept separately. Dog walks in the Forest of Dean and off lead time allowed where appropriate 🥰 There is a secure paddock nearby that you can hire if your dog is not safe off lead, very low cost, please let me know if you would like more information. About: Dogs have always been a big part of my life. Nala and Betty aren’t here as often these days, but I still really value the time I get with them. Whether it’s a steady walk through the woods or a quiet weekend catch-up, it’s always good to have that familiar energy around. Spending time with them is a reminder of why I do what I do at Best of Paws — reliable dog care, where dogs are treated like family. I work from home with a pretty flexible schedule, so I’m around a lot of the time. My girlfriend is a nanny, so she’s usually home by the afternoon. Between the two of us, there’s always someone here to hang out with the dogs and keep things chill. It works out great, especially since we can both give them attention whenever they need it. When I care for pets, whether it’s in their home or mine, it really depends on the dog’s personality and needs. Some dogs might need a bit more quiet time, while others are all about play and adventure. Either way, my focus is always on making sure they’re happy and comfortable. About: I am an animal lover with experience looking after my family and friends dogs, house sitting, walking, lots of mental enrichment and of course cuddles! I am a community nurse who loves meeting new people…. And their animals of course! I have a varied shift pattern so my availability may change weekly. I have a secure garden with lawns and room to sniff! I also have a docile cocker spaniel who would reassure and befriend any nervous pooch!

About: I've been a sitter for my sisters dog, willow for the past 3 years whilst she goes on her travels. My children enjoy having a dog in the house & I enjoy watching them play in our garden. I have pets in the past, a rescue stafi Tia, two cats mitzi and Pandora. They were loved beyond measure. I'm a stay at home mother with two small children. We go for walks daily, come rain or shine. We have a very relaxed home environment, my children love to play in the garden mostly and are besotted with animals, including creatures they find in the garden. My eldest daughter is nearly 3 and absolutely loves playing fetch with her aunties dog Willow who often stays with us when she's on holiday. We enjoy walking in the near by feilds and exploring a new home town. We have recently moved in to our new home and can offer a large enclosed garden, plenty of room for running up and down. Our house is small but spacious enough for our furry friends to stay over.

About: I love being around animals so to look after other peoples bundles of joy will be my pleasure! I have a German shepherd dog myself so they would need to be ok with other dogs if need an overnight stay but can happily pop in on my days off or working days depending how much is needed etc. can’t wait to hear from you :) I am currently not working so I have everyday free for you pets needs :) I am reliable, kind and happy to help with walks, drop in visits etc. I have my own German shepherd and own house so can have dogs over if they can socialise with dogs and toilet trained. I can pop into your home and stay with them or take them on a lovely walk.

About: I have 2 four legged babies one cat and one dog. I have grown up around pets and am regularly trusted to look after family and friends pets. I am very flexible to suite your needs. I have a dog of my own that needs her daily walks so always up and about. I have a fenced garden at home and live rurally to allow for running and playing in fields my cat is equips with dog seat belts and a guard for the boot.

About: I have been around animals since I was born. Having family pets from rabbits to dogs and cats. I currently have a 6 year old sassy cocker spaniel. My close family and friends also have dogs and trust me with walking them/dog sitting and checking in on them. It’s almost my second job that I don’t get paid for 😂 so why not get paid for it. I understand the importance of rules and consistency with our furry friends and this is something you can guarantee from me. I’m a friendly approachable person and will ask you questions if I need answers. I’m currently in summer holiday mode not returning to work until the 1st of September. Therefore my plans are flexible around you and your pet. I have a car big enough for 3 dogs and I’m not worried about mud. I often have 3 dogs on my hands, including my sister’s and parents. So am happy to have more dogs under my care.

About: I was brought up by a lab but long working hours and travelling for family meant I couldn’t have my own. So I’ve always cared for family and friends dogs and now house sit and walk dogs as I visit around the country. Typically I feed and take the dog for a long walk in the morning, continuing any training, letting them run if they can. I then go out and visit for the afternoon, and return to feed play and a bedtime walk, but obviously fit in with your pets usual routine. I try and give them a holiday and fun just as their owners are having, so if it is feasible I may take them with me. I am allergic to cats but happy to sit for other pets and chickens etc in smoke and camera free homes anywhere in the UK. I provide a comprehensive list of questions to enable me to safely care for your animals but please add anything else I should know. Happy to answer any questions. I am busily retired but book dog sitting in between some work (still) and my garden and travels. I can pop in and feed / toilet break for dogs near my home but mostly house snd pet sit. I sit or visit in the pets own home and try to keep to their usual routine. I dont have my own pet so just sit for one household at a time. The day rate covers my sleeping in your house, 2 feeds and 2 walks a day plus day and late night lift a leg short outings. Plus some cuddles and play of course! I cannot usually provide continuous supervision and do go out shoppjng etc. It may be possible to provide 24/7 presence for a short time. Please discuss if needed Walks usually start cautiously and dogs are only off the lead if they do not bolt / run away and it is safe and the owners are happy for me to do so. I enjoy sitting for trained, safe dogs. I try and continue the same words of command training and routines that the owner has used and praise good behaviour. Lots of pats and rewards!! I work in bursts as “bank” and like to travel across the land. That enables me to visit an area, have a variety of walks, and above all, have the company of dogs! I ask a long list of questions, aiming to ensure your pets are safe, and so are the people around them. Initially I walk a dog on the lead till I am sure they know me and will return if called. Then, if the owner wishes, I will walk them off the lead if away from roads , stock animals etc This obviously depends on the owner wishing me to do that and being confident of their dogs recall. I try to ensure that pets stick to their usual routine so they are confident of what will happen. I need smoke cat and feather free space, with a bit of freezer space, somewhere lit to do paperwork and a spare set of keys to secure the house. I bring just about everything else.

Having worked in the animal welfare and veterinary industry (and experience with my own pets) I am confident in administering medications and understanding the complex needs that your furry companions may have. Each animal is different and it’s really important they receive care tailored to them and their personalities. I am insured, DBS checked and first aid certified; giving you the assurance you need that your pets are in responsible and caring hands. I offer drop-ins, overnight stays and dog walks full time, whenever you need a helping hand with your much loved furry family members, I am there to support you! I am not currently accepting homeboarding, however with all of my visits regardless the length, I adapt my routine to what your pets needs are and how best I can serve them. Whether its a hands-off approach or they love to be fussed, I work with you and your pet to provide the care and routine they are used to ☀️

About: I am a specialist in large breeds and I have experience in taking care of shepherds and large defense and guard dogs. There has been a tradition of dog breeding in my family for generations. I can also take care of smaller dogs, cats and other domestic animals. I have experience in training dogs. I think dogs feel like humans, the only difference is that they don't use human speech. I am a person who understands dog language perfectly, and taking care of dogs is my passion, something I feel satisfied with, I just love doing it, I feel great about it, and dogs know it very well ....... because they usually they know and feel more like us, they only need someone who can read it. I am available at the weekends, nights and weekdays. am available on Saturdays and Sundays, the nights and weekdays. Day care, boarding and house sitting is my normal weekly routine. I can easily take care of your dog in your house, garden or during long walks. I love being outside walking and playing with them

About: After begging my whole life, I finally was allowed to get my own dog back in 2021. I got Ivy (my dog) as a puppy and completed all her training by myself. I think I’d read just about every dog training and behaviour book on the market so I could give Ivy the best environment possible. While I got very lucky with Ivy’s temperament, I have been a sitter for reactive dogs before. One dog in particular whom I have walked on occasion (but mostly did home visits) was very reactive and anti-social. I did meetings with the owner present to ensure the dog was comfortable with me before completing home visits alone. While on walks, it was imperative to keep this dog away from all other dogs, especially off-leash ones. I picked routes that ensured encountering minimal other people, and when we did come across other dog walkers I simply moved a fair distance off the path and held Frankie’s (the dog) attention using treats and positive reinforcement. By ensuring she kept her focus on me until the people had passed, it kept her reactivity to a minimum. Her reactivity was triggered by fear and anxiety, so avoidance of such situations meant that she was comfortable and therefore a pleasure to walk. I have experience sitting/walking dogs of all ages (including puppies and seniors) and feel comfortable with all breeds/sizes. I’m currently a university student, and with summer coming up I will have plenty of free time! I recognise the importance of reliability within pet-care and can promise to communicate my availability in advance. I have a fenced garden and space for a crate if necessary (however you would have to provide this equipment). Apart from larger equipment (like a crate/car cage, etc.) I can provide most things myself, such as food and water bowls, toys, treats, leash, etc. However these are mostly there as a ‘just in case’ option, as it is always better to use equipment your pet is already familiar with to avoid any discomfort or stress.
