I cannot speak highly enough of the dog sitting service provided by qualified Veterinary Nurse, Daisy. When planning a 10 day family holiday to Rhodes for early September ’26, we initially consider local boarding kennels for our fabulous 10-year old English Springer Spaniel, Ripley, but on this occasion also researched the option to home Ripley with a dog sitting service via Rover.com. We are so very happy to have chosen this latter option. Having sent an initially enquiry to Daisy about her availability for our holiday dates, my wife and I took Ripley to meet up with Daisy and her two lovely, very well behaved dogs, Rupert and Quinn, for a short local walk locally in the Forest of Dean. Daisy was great, her dogs lovely and friendly towards Ripley, and Ripley was immediately totally at ease to go for a run and also to splash around in a nearby by stream with Rupert and Quinn. Spaniel heaven! This meeting gave us complete reassurance that housing Ripley with Daisy instead of a boarding kennel was the right thing to do. The day before our travel, I dropped Ripley off at Daisy’s house with its secure, fully enclosed garden and was shown where Ripley would be sleeping and spending time when inside the house. While we were away, Daisy kept us regularly updated with how Ripley was settling in. We could see from the comments and photos sent that he was having a great time, totally chilled out and having some great daily walks with Daisy, Rupert, and Quinn. Within a couple of days, Daisy spotted something online (that we hadn’t) in relation to the brand of dog food Ripley eats, where the manufacture was taking the precaution of re-calling some of their meal options due to a possible connection with the condition ‘Dry Eye’. Daisy was very quick to raise this to us and kindly agreed to feed Ripley with the foods she gives to her own dogs. A veterinary check-up yesterday (16 Sept) confirmed that Ripley does indeed have dry eye and has been prescribed appropriate eye drops for this condition. Thank you, Daisy for your vigilance. My wife and I have already discussed that, if and when we venture abroad again in future, we will undoubtedly be calling on Daisy to look after Ripley. Thank you so very much, Daisy. Daisy made the whole process of leaving my pup for the first time so easy. She was kind and reassuring and sent me a video whilst she was there. She was punctual and took care to make sure he was settled before she left. Raffi was very happy and enjoyed his playtime!

Daisy was excellent, very communicative and looked after my dog brilliantly. Thank you!

Friendly and professional. Ron had a lovely time with Daisy and her two dogs. A trip to the beach was great fun for him.

Daisy was fantastic looking after my boys. Unfortunately, whilst I was away Rupert’s diabetes took a turn for the worst. She quickly took him to the vets where his medication was reviewed, he is now much better and back to his usual self. She sent me regularly updates on them both. Daisy stayed in my home whilst I was away. Upon my return, the house never looked so clean! I would highly recommend Daisy and will definitely be using her future breaks.
