About: I learnt the responsibilities of caring for dogs early on in my childhood. I have grew up with dogs since I was a baby, and have always had a deep love for animals. I took this passion and love of animals and wanted to pursue it as a career. I studied animal management at college where I gained 3 years work experience in a boarding kennel. I then wanted to expand my knowledge further and continued my studies at Hartpury University in Canine Training and Performance, where I graduated with a 2.1 (upper second-class honours). Through this time I have gained a lot of experience on caring for a wide range of animals. Including dogs, cats, reptiles, birds and even pigs! I volunteered at a pig rescue in Ireland where I learnt a lot about these spectacular animals, who are a lot like dogs! I've learnt to deal with animals of all kinds of temperaments and how to pick up on body language to adapt my approaches quickly to ensure safety for all parties involved. This also helps to ensure that the animals are as stress free as can be. I do work full time however, I am typically available Mondays and Tuesdays, and most evenings. However this can change due to my work schedule. I have a fenced of garden to ensure security during their stay. I am also very knowledgeable about canine behaviours and training so am easily able to pick up on signs of distress when out on a walk to adapt and change to the environment

About: I’ve looked after so many different breeds of dog for family, friends and neighbours, including my own pug and frenchie. I’m confident in applying topics medication, grooming and bathing I work flexibly full time, working from home 4 days a week. I go on daily hour long lunchtime walks anyway, as well as being free most evenings and weekends I’m comfortable in crating and grooming pets, as well as giving them peace or cuddles when they need or want it. I’ve owned both a Rottweiler/German Shepherd mix and a Miniature Pinscher mix, so I understand that every dog is unique, whether they’re a gentle giant or a little bundle of personality. I also worked in an animal shelter, where I cared for animals of all breeds, sizes and temperaments. My role included walking, feeding, transporting animals, caring for dogs recovering from surgery, helping new arrivals settle in and providing day-to-day care. Gillian put us at ease about the process, so we went away feeling confident our cats would be just fine. We had daily updates on how the cats were doing - including photos, which was really lovely. It's my first time using a pro dog sitter, and I was nervous as I have an elderly Pugzu and a nervous Frenchie puppy so kennels aren't an option. Needn't have worried, my boys thoroughly enjoyed having Stefani and Alex look after them, even my nervous/reactive puppy was as happy as anything! I received plenty of brilliant photos of my boys smiling away and updates throughout the visits! Was so nice to enjoy our day out without worrying, and we came home to two very happy boys who wanted to tell us all about it! Will absolutely use again, 10/10! 😊
Alex looked after my cat Lily really well, taking her outside almost every day on her harness since she loves being outdoors. She sent lovely photos of Lily and some short videos of Lily playing as well. She came reliably and I could relax on holiday knowing Lily was well looked after. Kate was great at organising and staying in touch. One of my cats was unwell when I was away and Kate was monitoring closely, took to the vets to be safe and gave the recommended treatments which made me feel super reassured until I could be back with my cat. Speedy responses and willing to help beyond the agreed visits due to the medical situation.
I've used Rover a couple of times before and Elise is by far the best sitter I've had. The photos showed she was interacting with the cats, giving them fuss and playing with them and when there was something she wasn't sure about she got in touch about it.
