About: Animal lover of 30 years and experience pet sitter/owner. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, long walks, or playtime in the park. I treat every pet like my own. I’m reliable, caring and committed to making your pet feel safe, happy and loved while you’re away. I am currently working 8am -3:30pm at school, I available weekends or weekdays if you are happy for your dog to be left for that time during the day. I will always be available during school holidays I have secure garden with fencing all around in a semi detached house. The neighbours who are attached are a lovely family who have their own pets.
About: I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have been house and pet sitting pretty much full time since January 2019 and, to date, have completed 110 sits in the UK, Ireland, Australia and New Zealand all receiving 5 star reviews. Those were through other platforms when I was travelling and rented out my home. I have been back in my home since July 2025 and decided to join Rover on recommendation. I have mainly looked after a variety of dogs of all ages, sizes and breeds, cats and chickens but also alpacas, rare sheep, pygmy goats and fish. I like the challenge of teaching a dog new tricks (!) and taught a Dachshund to ring a bell, a Tibetan Terrier to wait before running after a ball and a Cockapoo to sit and high five, things they didn’t do before. I’m open to more challenges! I keep myself fit and particularly enjoy walking which is enhanced by the company of dogs. I like nothing more than to take my canine charges exploring with me, with their owners’ permission, and have introduced many to new walks and sniffs. I will keep your pets to their normal routines, give them as much love and cuddles as they can take and keep your home as clean and tidy as you leave it. I am retired so can give your pets plenty of attention in their home with long or short walks for dogs outside and happy to continue with any training they might be doing. Cats will get lots of attention also if they wish I will ensure that I keep to the routines of feeding, walking and sleeping that your dogs are used to. I will be alert to any changes in their demeanour and take appropriate action should they become ill. Having been a house owner for over 40 years I will also ensure I take action should any home emergency occur
About: Hi there! We’re Matt and Daniela, lifelong dog lovers who truly enjoy spending time with dogs of all shapes and sizes. Matt grew up with two dogs and has always enjoyed their company. Together, we’ve looked after many friends’ dogs over the years — sometimes for just a day, other times for several weeks at a time. We know how important it is to find someone you can fully trust with your pets. That’s why we offer the same care, attention, and love we would give to our own. Whether it’s long walks, cuddles on the sofa, or keeping up with your dog’s routine, we make sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. Your dog will enjoy fresh air, plenty of playtime, and endless affection with us. We’d love to meet your furry friend and make them feel at home — because when they’re with us, they’re part of the family. Daniela mostly works from home, so your pet will have company throughout the day — plenty of time for cuddle breaks, playtime, and regular walks to keep them happy and relaxed. We have a fenced garden to make sure your pet is safe when playing outside. Please let us know if there is anything we need to know to make sure your dog is safe with us.
About: I’ve had a dog in the house since I was 5 years old. I’ve moved to Cheltenham for my work and I miss having a dog around so I thought I would look after them in my spare time while acting. I’m currently working as an actor, and I’ve got a couple of days off so I thought I would do Dog sitting as I couldn’t bring my dog up to Cheltenham so my dog is in back with my dad. Unfortunately, I can’t have dogs at my flat, but I’m more than happy to come over and dog sit at your house and take them for walks
About: I first began taking care of animals when the neighbors would ask my sister and I to watch their cats and small animals while away. Then I finally convinced my parents to get a family dog and that’s where most of my experience is! During covid years, my friend and I have been doing house/pet sitting for family friends for the past year and I enjoy it so much. Unfortunately we lost our precious family dog Jack a couple years ago and having moved from the US to the UK, I am seriously missing animal interaction ! I am pursuing a masters degree in social work from UoG and am currently on a full-time placement until the end of July. During placement I work Monday-Friday, 9-4:30 but am available in evenings and weekends. Once placement ends I will have much more free time and flexibility. While I am currently living in an apartment and will not be able to bring your pet home with me, I enjoy going for long walks in some beautiful neighborhoods or parks of which Cheltenham has plenty to offer! I am also happy to check in on your fur baby for potty breaks, feeding time, or just to share some company for a while or even extend it to overnight house sitting as well if that makes them feel more secure!
About: I’ve had pets all my life and truly understand the importance of giving them love, comfort, and the attention they deserve. Many pet owners have trusted me to care for their animals, and I take that responsibility to heart. Your pet will be treated like family in my home, with plenty of space to rest and relax. I offer daily walks tailored to their needs, whether it's a short stroll or a longer adventure. For the more adventurous furkids, weekend explorations in the nearby countryside are always on the agenda! My home is non-smoking and child-free, ensuring your pet will receive all my attention. Whether they need to snuggle on the sofa or join me in bed for a cozy rest, I’m more than happy to provide that comfort while you’re away. As a professional who works from home, I am available throughout the day to care for your pet. I’m also happy to meet beforehand to ensure you’re comfortable with both me and the environment where your pet will be staying. If your pet requires medication, I have no problem administering it and, having cared for pets with daily medication needs for years, I may even have some tricks up my sleeve! I’m experienced with pets of all ages, from young dogs with endless energy to senior dogs who need a little extra gentle care. I work from home so should your pet be overnight boarding or day care with me, I'm always on hand to ensure your pets needs are being met and can provide regular potty breaks in my fenced off garden or on walks. I have a fenced garden and easy access to great nearby parks and comfortable to offer both secure off leash and leashed walks - whatever your pet is used to and subject to recall. Within my home I allow pets on my furniture, but will adapt my style to whatever you have as rules in your home to ensure continuity with training. Comfortable with either having crate trained, or non crate trained dogs in home.
“Amy was absolutely great. She was able to accommodate a short notice request and made time to meet before looking after Maisy. She was a pleasure to deal with and I received lovely daily updates on the visits. I highly recommend Amy.”

About: Hello, I’m Emma. I have over 15 years experience in pet care, including house sitting, dog walking and puppy training. I am also a dog wedding chaperone, helping happy couples have their beloved pets part of their wedding day. As well as offering services on Rover, I also have my own pet care business called Harris Hounds of Cheltenham. Full Insurence including public liability, DBS check and Dog First Aid Trained. Thanks for stopping bye, I look forward to hearing from you. ☺️🐾🐕 My services are subject to my availability as I do work but hoping to soon be in a position that I can do this full time. However I am free most evenings and weekends and also available to house sit whilst you are away. I am able to look after small animals at my place (weekends) and have a safe and secure garden. Any animals larger than your average small dog, it would be more convenient for me to look after them at your home. I am experienced with: - puppies - nervous dogs - elderly dogs - reactive dogs
“Freya was amazing with Beni! She is super organized, made sure to keep records of everything, and took him for a looong walk - exactly what he needed. Thank you so much for taking such good care of him, highly recommend!”

About: With 16+ 5⭐ reviews, I offer more than just a dog walk - I provide structured walks that actively improve your dog’s behaviour. Ideal for dogs who pull, come back from walks still wired, or struggle to focus outside. I work with puppies, adolescent dogs, and high-energy breeds who need guidance with: • Pulling on the lead • Poor recall • Overexcitement on walks • Lack of focus outside Each walk gives your dog clear structure, calm direction, and real-world training practice - not just exercise. Over time, this creates a dog that is easier to walk, more focused, and more settled. I’m especially experienced with large breeds and energetic dogs, but I work confidently with all temperaments. I focus on 1–2 hour sessions so your dog gets my full attention, consistency, and proper mental + physical stimulation. ✔ Fully insured 📸 Regular updates & photos 🧠 Training-led approach (not just a walk) If your dog needs more than a quick stroll, I’d love to help build better habits and a calmer routine. As someone with a flexible schedule, I can offer dog walking and pet care services that fit seamlessly into your routine. Whether you need a midday walk, extended playtime, or care during the day, I’m available to provide your pet with the attention they deserve. My open availability ensures your furry friend’s needs are always a priority. Before caring for a pet, I always meet with you to understand their needs and routine. I follow your instructions carefully, keep doors and gates secure, and ensure the environment is hazard-free. I also keep your contact number on hand for emergencies, giving you peace of mind while your pet is in my care.

Kate was great at organising and staying in touch. One of my cats was unwell when I was away and Kate was monitoring closely, took to the vets to be safe and gave the recommended treatments which made me feel super reassured until I could be back with my cat. Speedy responses and willing to help beyond the agreed visits due to the medical situation.
Shannon was fantastic looking after our very grumpy cat while we were away! She popped in every morning to feed him and sort the litter tray, and it was such a relief knowing he was being so well looked after. We really appreciated the updates, and, he was clearly very well cared for. Would definitely recommend Shannon to anyone looking for a reliable and caring cat sitter.

Alex was brilliant when looking after our 2 cats! She was really friendly, easy to get on with, and we felt completely at ease leaving them with her. She understood their different needs and personalities right away - handling our very nervous cat perfectly, (including managing to give her medication) and giving our younger boy all the fuss and attention he needed! She kept the house tidy, cleaning up some cat sick, washing up bowls etc, and sent daily updates so we never had to worry. Could not recommend her enough!

Shona did a great job at caring for my cat and 2 guinea pigs for a week. Shona took time to get to know them and asked questions about their personalities etc. My cat has health needs and Shona was happy to follow the specific food instructions. I got daily updates and all pets were well looked after. Shona also kept me up to date with other things like parcel deliveries and brought everything in for me. Would definitely recommend 😊
I've used Rover a couple of times before and Elise is by far the best sitter I've had. The photos showed she was interacting with the cats, giving them fuss and playing with them and when there was something she wasn't sure about she got in touch about it. Highly recommended and will definitely use again.
Having booked Ellie before, I knew she would be a fantastic sitter, and she didn't disappoint. Super helpful, kind, communicative and thorough, and really helpful when she noticed my cat had an eye injury. Again, came back to a lovely clean environment and two happy kitties ☺️ Would absolutely recommend!
