About: I’ve been surrounded by dogs my whole life, growing up with four schnauzers and a cocker spaniel. I also had my own schnauzer, Teo, back in Colombia, so I understand how much pets mean to their families. I’ll care for your dog with the same love, patience, and attention I’d give my own. I run my own freelance interior design business from my home studio, which gives me the flexibility to organise my schedule around my clients’ and their pets’ needs. This means I can offer home visits throughout the day for feeding, walks, playtime, toilet breaks, and companionship. I’m available on both weekdays and weekends where possible, and I’ll always do my best to accommodate your preferred times. I’m also happy to arrange a free meet-and-greet beforehand so we can get to know each other and make sure it’s the right fit for both you and your pet. Your pet’s wellbeing is always my priority. I currently offer home visits and dog walking, as I believe many pets are happiest and most relaxed in their own familiar environment. During each visit, I’ll follow your pet’s usual routine, making sure they have fresh food and water, exercise, playtime, and plenty of attention. I’ll also keep you updated with photos and messages for extra peace of mind. At the moment, I don’t offer pet boarding at my own home as I don’t have a garden. However, it’s something I’d love to offer in the future when I have the right outdoor space. Until then, I’m committed to providing reliable, caring visits in your pet’s own home, where they feel safest and most comfortable.
“Thank you Leah and James for having Maisie today! She obviously had a lot of fun as she is flat out now! Lovely pictures and updates, friendly and welcoming, we felt so comfortable leaving her. Maisie will most definitely be back! ❤️”

About: I’ve looked after so many different breeds of dog for family, friends and neighbours, including my own pug and frenchie. I’m confident in applying topics medication, grooming and bathing I work flexibly full time, working from home 4 days a week. I go on daily hour long lunchtime walks anyway, as well as being free most evenings and weekends I’m comfortable in crating and grooming pets, as well as giving them peace or cuddles when they need or want it. I think I’m quite good at recognising animals signals
“Heather was amazing with my puppy Stella I will definitely be using her again. It was great she could play with Heather’s own dog and her lovely daughter to help her socialisation. I knew Stella was safe and having fun and she didn’t even want to come home!”

“Luna loves going to Leah's, I always know she's happy and well cared for and getting lots of enrichment. She loves having a run and play with the other dogs and cuddling up with Leah and James. They have done an amazing job at making her comfortable in a new place”

“This was Hugo’s first time staying with her, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. She sent lots of pictures, which really reassured me and showed how comfortable and happy he was. It was clear from the start how kind and lovely she is with him. I’m so grateful for the care she gave Hugo.”

About: My name is Annabelle and I live in Cheltenham. I have owned dogs as family pets for the last 12 years and grew up around dogs. As a teenager I would walk family and friends dogs daily but unfortunatley couldn't own them due to my parents work schedules!! My children have grown up around dogs (and cats) and show so much affection towards them. I enjoy walks in the woods in our local area as well as travelling further afield to take advantage of longer walks. I have set my availiability calendar to the days that I work from home. I am more than happy to visit your dog daily, I can either walk them alone or with Buddy. Or they can come and play with Buddy whilst I am home. I work with the door open so your dog can be inside and outside as much as they like. I have a fenced garden and the back door is open at all times whilst I am here. Buddy, my dog, will be in the house too so they will have a friend to play with. I have a medium and large crate available should you require your dog crating at anytime.

“Laura was a great communicator, she sent photos though out the stay. She was friendly and accommodating to our dogs needs. We felt really happy leaving our rescue dog with her. Thank you!”

“Leanne and her partner Pav, are such lovely and warm people and also big dog lovers! Ripley had a lovely time with them and they kept on sending pics with updates throughout the day. 😊🐾”

“Kim helped with pick-up and drop-off when we requested, which we really appreciated. The care was good overall, but communication was quite slow. Thank you for taking care if Lara for the day.”

“Can't recommend Claire enough, really helped us out incredibly last minute, and Ayce came home after day care incredibly chilled out and happy, he obviously had a great day!!”

“Sophie was once again an absolute star with Joey! As he was unfamiliar with being in new surroundings, he unfortunately left his "mark" in multiple places in Sophie's house shortly after we arrived. Sophie was very understanding and forgiving :-) Joey has a great day exploring and giving and receiving cuddles, and Sophie was kind enough to brave the storm to drop him at home quite late at night. Fab experience again and I will have no hesitation in continuing to use Sophie's services and recommend her to others.”

“Highly recommend Annabel. Biggie loved playing with her dog,and I went sent regular pictures which I really appreciated as it was our first time leaving him with someone. Will definitely be rebooking again,so glad I found someone who myself and biggie are happy with! Thanks again for taking great care of him 🙂”

Dog owners share their Rover experiences - Cheltenham
First time rover user and Rachel just made things really easy and gave us loads of confidence. Our dog was safe and secure in her care and she was really friendly. This was a one off for us whilst we visit the area, but if we're this way again, or if lived locally, we'd definitely use Rachel again.

Casper had his first daycare with James & Leah and had the best day ever. They were very considerate of his needs & play style to make sure he would get on with other dogs, and he had a fabulous day in a secure field and snoozing with company. I received lots of photos of him looking very happy chap, couldn’t ask for more, thank you!

Charlotte was very friendly and knowledgeable. She adapted to the needs of my puppy and the warm weather. She was very accommodating and thorough with what the dogs will do and where, while in her care. She has a lovely and comfortable area and garden for the dogs.

Dominika and Adam were fantastic and took great care of our two miniature Dachshunds, Nori and Nala. They were incredibly responsive and made us feel completely at ease during the handover in the morning. It was clear from the start how caring and attentive they both are. They even took the girls for a lovely walk around the beautiful park just across the road from their flat. We couldn’t have asked for better care and would happily recommend them to anyone looking for trustworthy and compassionate sitters. Thank you x
Izabela is very experienced and Casper felt at home right away in her house. He can sometimes be stressed when I leave him, but it sounds like she did a great job helping him settle and he enjoyed play with other dogs. I felt assured leaving him in her care, thank you Izabela!

Luna loves going to Leah's, I always know she's happy and well cared for and getting lots of enrichment. She loves having a run and play with the other dogs and cuddling up with Leah and James. They have done an amazing job at making her comfortable in a new place

We had a great first experience using Rover and booking with Hannah. She took the time to meet us beforehand, which really put us at ease. Our youngest can be a bit nervous, but the updates and photos showed both dogs having a brilliant time and settling in really well. Everything felt easy, reassuring, and well organised, we’d definitely book with Hannah again.

It was our first time leaving Nacho with Anna and her family. She introduced the family members one by one so he wouldn’t feel overwhelmed. She took him for a walk and all the family played with him. He had a lovely time and we will definitely be using her again!!

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:
- Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
- Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
- Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
- Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible
Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Sitters in South West England may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
