About: I have grown up with pets and we had our own lovely little housecat Saffy for fourteen years, and now have had our gorgeous cockapoo Pip for six years. I also have a ten year old daughter and a four year old son. Our house is perfect for a dog looking for lots of cuddles and attention - we have lots of space and a large secure garden. We are also lucky enough to have a fabulous private walk on our doorstep. I am here 24/7 to look after everyone. This also means that I can keep to your dog’s preferred schedule (if there is one!). I have a large secure garden to run around in and love going for walks on the farm next door. Our dog Pip is a lovely, excitable Cockapoo who loves to play and run around but is equally as happy cuddling on the sofa while we watch a film. He has been neutered.

About: I have over 20 years of experience caring for dogs of all ages . I’ve rescued and cared for dogs, including my own rescue dog, and have a deep understanding of their needs. Neighbors, friends, and family have relied on me to walk, feed, and care for their pets, ensuring their safety and happiness. I am passionate about animals, patient, and attentive, offering reliable and compassionate care for every dog I believe that looking after pets fits perfectly into my daily life. At the moment, I work part-time, which gives me plenty of time to take dogs for walks, care for them, and play with them. I enjoy spending time with animals, and I am flexible enough to meet their needs throughout the day. I currently do not have a fenced garden, but my primary focus is on taking dogs out for enjoyable and safe walks in the fresh air. I ensure that they get the exercise, care, and attention they need during our time together. I am attentive to their safety, keeping them on a lead when necessary, and always following the owner’s instructions regarding their routine and preferences.

About: I've grown up with dogs - we had three gorgeous labradors on my Grandad's farm when I was a toddler. I work from home and have a secure garden that has plenty of shade so it's always cool enough for dogs to find somewhere to have a snooze. I start the day having a long walk with my dog, then work remotely so will always be at home if dog-sitting. I often do a lunchtime walk if it's cool enough. Then, at the end of the day another long walk. I have a secure garden and a super friendly husky who gets on with everyone and their dog. The garden is well-shaded with trees overhanging and a gazebo.

We booked with Sooraj and Sweta at short notice and couldn’t be happier with the experience. They took amazing care of Elsa, making sure she was comfortable, happy, and well looked after the entire time. Communication was excellent throughout. It’s clear they genuinely care about the dogs they look after. Would highly recommend and will definitely book again!

About: Dog lover from a very young age in a dog mad family! We've bred labradors for many years which has been a real passion, and given lots of experience with dogs of all ages. Experienced in training dogs and having worked in an animal hospital, I'm experienced in first aid/medication. As an animal lover, my Labrador (Loki) and I love spending our time outside walking, playing and going for walks/rides with my horse. Loki is a lovely gentle Labrador who loves making friends but also knows when to give his new friends space. I live on a private farm which is set off any main roads and I have a private gated garden which is secure and has lovely views over the fields. A doggy swimming pool is available in the hot summer months, as well as an indoor heated shower room ready for winter showers to get those mucky paws clean! I work from home full time and am able to be around to fit in with your dogs normal routines to ensure they have as smooth a 'doggy holiday' as possible. I have a fenced garden and a gentle Labrador to keep your dog/s company. I have a doggy swimming pool for the hotter months and a warm indoor shower for any showers which may be needed for mucky paws. A doggy toy box is available to be used and dogs are treated as my own.

Jenny was able to accommodate our puppy's needs in the day of boording and on collection showed real understanding and patience of his behaviours. It was easy to see our puppy had enjoyed his time there and was comfortable in their property. This was the first time our puppy has stayed anywhere else and she kept us nicely informed during the day via whatsapp and talked through hints and tips on pick-up.

Peggy and her family were amazing looking after our little Alfie. He is a very nervous boy, so finding the right person is difficult but I felt very comfortable throughout the day after receiving lots of photos and videos. I couldn’t recommend Peggy and family enough, thank you again for being so patient and loving towards him. I think his confidence will grow and grow.

About: I’m Lisa-jayne and have plenty of experience handling dogs cats small furries and reptiles. I have had the privilege of having an abundance of pets growing up in my familys home we kept dogs cats rabbits guinea pigs hamsters birds and even stick insects. All our pets got on so well with each other and that’s because we treated them as an extension to our family. Fast forward 23 years plus and I found myself having had a gorgeous lively spiritely springer spaniel from the dogs trust (Brucey Boy) who was a complete pleasure & adapted very well, along the years have also had a huskie, cats and Lizzie the lizard (bearded dragon) and two fancy rats Domino & Biscuit right up to our most recent addition Giggsy a Jack Russell cross Dachshund I adopted during lockdown the process was very different due to covid restrictions, but that’s another story I work part time and when I’m not at work you will be sure to find me on a dog walk at one of my local meadows, bluebell woods or the racecourse so adding your fur baby into a daily walks won’t be an issue, or on the other hand if your dog is an older arthritic one we can walk less frequently and for a shorter distance. I will emulate a home from home environment for your fur baby(ies) and provide them with lots of cuddles affection treats and playtime and as many walks he/she requires I have a secure fenced garden and inside the home plenty of toys, offerings and treats along with warmth and love in abundance. I will take good care of your dog like he/she were my own I take my dog on two walks a day and will meet with you beforehand to discuss your dogs routine so I can emulate a safe home from home environment

Cath and the dogs in her home were all amazing with my 7month old puppy who can sometimes be a bit anxious of meeting new people and dogs. Cath kept me updated with pictures and videos of the pups playing and snuggling together which was really reassuring. Can’t recommend her enough, my puppy can’t wait for her next visit!

Linda was amazing! I had to find emergency cover for my Beagle, Watson, who can be a bit of a handful with his intelligence, but Linda and her dog, Barney, welcomed Watson so warmly and he was knackered when he came home each day after being taken for multiple walks. Linda was even accommodating to Watson being able to open doors and being an escapologist, ensuring Watson was top priority. Couldn’t have been more grateful. Highly Recommended!

Rover makes budgeting the cost of Doggy Day Care easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for Doggy Day Care. For more information on service fees, click here .

There are 1,383 sitters on Rover for Doggy Day Care in Stratford-on-Avon. About 86% of Stratford-on-Avon sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you are planning ahead for public holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day cover for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later collection to match your Stratford-on-Avon commute.

If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust collection and drop-off times when needed.

Your dog’s first day care experience is a big milestone! To help your pup settle in comfortably, we recommend:

  • Food and treats portioned for the day, with feeding instructions
  • Your dog's lead and collar (ensure tags are up-to-date)
  • Any seasonal gear, such as paw-safe wax for winter or a cooling vest for the summer
  • Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes
  • Any special care instructions or training tips to help your sitter provide the most personalised care possible

Tip: Upload this information directly through the Rover app before drop-off. The more context you provide, the better your sitter can tailor the day to your dog.

While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog's vaccines is the best way to be 'boarding ready'. Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. Cats may be required to have Feline Panleucopenia Virus, Feline Herpesvirus, Feline Calicivirus, and Feline Leukaemia Virus up to date.

By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.

If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poo breaks occured. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available for dedicated customer support by email or chat if you have concerns.

The personalised, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English, French, German, and Spanish from Mon-Sat 9am to 6pm. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a qualified vet or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s booking protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee. Read more about our requirement for following local licensing requirements .
