“This was Baileys 7th or 8th stay with Martine and Alex. As always we couldn’t have been happier knowing Bailey was in their extremely capable (and loving) hands. Martine is always great with communication and send lots of photos and updates which we love. It’s obvious they treat Bailey with so much love and care, as she is always excited when she realises where she is and quickly makes herself at home. On this occasion we had a last minute unavoidable change in our plans. This lead to requesting to extend the booking and although Martine and Alex had some other bookings in between they went above and beyond to assist in getting Bailey cared for. We couldn’t have been more appreciative as they took one thing off our plate when dealing with a lot of plan changes and organising ourselves. Knowing Bailey was in their hands relieved a lot of stress and worry at a difficult time. I just cannot recommend Martine & Alex highly enough. We often talk about how lucky we are to have found in them, the absolute best match for our Bailey girl.”

About: PLEASE NOTE: I am only offering boarding and day care in the dog owners home, in effect, I would also be house sitting for the dog owner. PLEASE NOTE: Unfortunately I don't drive and can only take requests from dog owners who live near a bus route or train station. I have always had an affinity with dogs; or rather they have an affinity with me! Dogs I have never met before always bound up to me and want to play! I have a very calm and patient personality which I think dogs pick up on. This in turn calms them and makes them feel comfortable. About: Volunteered for a number of different dog charities before working in rescue and now working as a Dog Trainer. I have dog sat for friends and have thoroughly enjoyed doing so. About: We had cats when i was very young, but they were gone by the time i was 11-12. For what its worth, I am good at cleaning even if I don't particularly enjoy it haha, and cats have always liked me because I'm pretty calm and let them keep to themselves if they want. Experienced in training dogs and having worked in an animal hospital, I'm experienced in first aid/medication. A doggy swimming pool is available in the hot summer months, as well as an indoor heated shower room ready for winter showers to get those mucky paws clean! I have a fenced garden and a gentle Labrador to keep your dog/s company. About: Hi I'm Saskia! I'm a 3rd year veterinary student at the University of Liverpool, but currently based in Stratford-upon-Avon for the holidays. Since I'm renting and can't have pets of my own at the moment, I'm looking to fill that dog or cat shaped hole in my life by caring for yours. When I'm not studying, I'm usually training for my next triathlon, so if you have a high-energy breed that loves a long walk, I'm your person. However, I'm just as happy to provide a calm environment and plenty of cuddles for senior pets or those who prefer a more relaxed lifestyle. Understanding that our pets our important members of our families, I am conscious to check-in often with photos, videos and updates to ease anxiety. For dog walking: After we exchange information about your dog and their specific walking needs: duration, behaviour, socialisation etc. I will come and meet your dog ensuring we are the right match. Then we will head out to explore and sniff! I will take photos and videos for you and give tell you all about how we are getting on. For pet sitting: After we exchange information about your dog/cat, your home and their specific needs: feeding, behaviour, walking etc. I will come and meet you and your dog/cat, to ensure we are a good match. Most likely we will start the day with a morning walk after breakfast. During the day I will most likely be studying in your home, with breaks for play-time, toileting and cuddles. I rarely will leave the house for more than max. 2hrs at a time to pop to the shops, to go to the gym, or for lectures. In the evening we will go on another walk, followed by dinner and settling in for the night. For cat drop-ins: I am available for once or twice daily visits (morning/evening) to ensure your cat's feeding schedule remains consistent. About: Dog lover from a very young age in a dog mad family! We've bred labradors for many years which has been a real passion, and given lots of experience with dogs of all ages. Experienced in training dogs and having worked in an animal hospital, I'm experienced in first aid/medication. As an animal lover, my Labrador (Loki) and I love spending our time outside walking, playing and going for walks/rides with my horse. Loki is a lovely gentle Labrador who loves making friends but also knows when to give his new friends space. I live on a private farm which is set off any main roads and I have a private gated garden which is secure and has lovely views over the fields. A doggy swimming pool is available in the hot summer months, as well as an indoor heated shower room ready for winter showers to get those mucky paws clean! I work from home full time and am able to be around to fit in with your dogs normal routines to ensure they have as smooth a 'doggy holiday' as possible. I have a fenced garden and a gentle Labrador to keep your dog/s company. I have a doggy swimming pool for the hotter months and a warm indoor shower for any showers which may be needed for mucky paws. A doggy toy box is available to be used and dogs are treated as my own.

As a dog owner myself (my energetic Springer Spaniel, Ernie, certainly keeps me on my toes!), I understand that every pet is unique. Some dogs thrive on long countryside adventures, while others are happiest with a gentle stroll and plenty of sniffing. Ernie happily walks for up to an hour, so I’m more than comfortable with active dogs, but I’m just as happy taking things at a slower pace for puppies, seniors or more relaxed companions. Outside of pet sitting, I work in creative production where organisation, communication and attention to detail are part of my everyday life. I’m also a volunteer with the British Red Cross Emergency Response Team, so remaining calm, dependable and prepared comes naturally. About: As well as having my own dogs, I volunteered for the Assistant Dogs Charity ‘Dogs for Good” as a boarder. These beautiful dogs came to stay for 1 week or for up to 3 months, depending on circumstances. We ended up adopting one of them, Harley, who was a joy. I also volunteered for The Dogs Trust. Duties included walking, brushing, cuddling, feeding. This has given me experience with pretty much every breed and every Heinz 59 of all ages. I am self employed as a dog cartoonist. So where I draw is irrelevant! So when your dog(s) are having a snooze, I will quietly get on with my drawings. Just as I did when looking after the many Dogs for Good labs, I will follow your instructions relating to your dog(s) health and safety, insuring their routine doesn’t go off course.

“This was Baileys 7th or 8th stay with Martine and Alex. As always we couldn’t have been happier knowing Bailey was in their extremely capable (and loving) hands. Martine is always great with communication and send lots of photos and updates which we love. It’s obvious they treat Bailey with so much love and care, as she is always excited when she realises where she is and quickly makes herself at home. On this occasion we had a last minute unavoidable change in our plans. This lead to requesting to extend the booking and although Martine and Alex had some other bookings in between they went above and beyond to assist in getting Bailey cared for. We couldn’t have been more appreciative as they took one thing off our plate when dealing with a lot of plan changes and organising ourselves. Knowing Bailey was in their hands relieved a lot of stress and worry at a difficult time. I just cannot recommend Martine & Alex highly enough. We often talk about how lucky we are to have found in them, the absolute best match for our Bailey girl.”

About: Have had dogs all my life in particular Spaniel, Golden Retriever and Labradors. They have all been thoroughly spoiled and cared for to the highest standards possible.
