I feel so lucky to be part of your furry friends’ lives and create wonderful memories together. 🐾❤️✨ I work from home, which means I get to spend lots of time with pets throughout the day. I genuinely love having dogs around me — whether they’re following me from room to room, asking for attention, playing with their favourite toy, or simply having a quiet nap next to me while I work. I’ve always dreamed of having a house full of dogs, but having several of my own isn’t really financially practical. Looking after other people’s dogs feels like the perfect way to have more furry friends around while giving them a safe, loving home-from-home when their owners are away. I have a rescue Whippet of my own, so I understand how much trust it takes to leave your furry family member with someone new. I’ve completed a Pet Sitting & Dog Walking course and received offline training in dog behaviour. I genuinely treat every dog as part of the family. Saying goodbye is always a little bittersweet, and I’m always excited to see my furry guests again in the future. 🏡 Dog Boarding: Your dog's safety and comfort come first in my home. They have their own dedicated room. I have a fenced garden with supervised outdoor time, scheduled separately. Emergency vet contacts are always on hand. 🚶 House Sitting: Your home and pets' safety are my top priorities. I keep keys secure, lock doors at all times, and never bring guests over. I follow your safety instructions (alarm systems, pet gates, etc.) exactly. I have emergency vet contacts ready and can handle medication if needed. 🐕 Dog Walking: Safety is always first on walks. I use secure harnesses/collars, stay alert to traffic and other dogs, and carry a phone in case of emergencies. I follow your instructions on handling — whether your dog needs space from other dogs or loves to say hello. Walks are GPS tracked via Rover for peace of mind. 🔑 Drop-In: I prioritise safety in every visit. I ensure doors are locked when I leave, food is stored correctly, and any hazards are out of reach. I can’t recommend Amelia highly enough. She is unbelievably kind and caring and very experienced when it comes to dogs. It’s clear how much she genuinely loves and understands them. My dog has now stayed with her twice for daycare, and we’ve already booked a five-day boarding stay because I trust her completely. She takes the time to understand my dog’s individual personality and quirks without judgement, treating him with patience, kindness, and so much love. It’s such a relief knowing Dougie is in such safe and caring hands. Highly recommend!

Liv was great. Our little one had never been to a doggy day care and we were a little apprehensive to say the least. We met her outside and she took him for a walk right away to get him to settle in. She kept sending us pictures all day so we knew everything was ok. When we picked him up, he wanted to go straight back in. If that is not a sign of a good day, I don’t know. We will definitely call on Liv again if we are in the area.

Coco loves Caroline and gets very excited when she arrives at her flat. Caroline takes great care of Coco taking her for walks, giving her hugs and affection, care and attention to her needs and sending me lots of photos and videos. Coco enjoys the company of any other dogs who might be with her during the day.

My little doggie loves going to Tsz for the day. Now when she gets there is cannot wait to get in and even for my clingy little dog when I collect her she wants to stay there. It’s a lovely sigh and my dog lets me know when she does not like doing somwhere. I also have been held up at work a few times and collected late and Tsz is very kind to hold onto my dog a little longer than planned. Thank you so much Barbara loves you x

Chloe has been amazing with Herbie, she has kept us updated and sent some very cute pictures. Herbie is still young so quite lively and excitable which she has handled really well. Her pup Winnie has been so good and patient with him too. We will definitely use her again if she will have him!

Eleanor was great with Zyon, he seemed to enjoy is stay! I had regular updates with photos, I’m very happy with the communication. Extremely thankful as the booking was short notice, and very late a night. Thank you so much! I would 100% rebook and recommend.

Izzy & Tom were absolutley amazing at looking after our 3 month old Cocker Spaniel ( who was having her first time away from home !! ). They made us both feel immediately at ease and Marnie had a great time. They were super responsive and sent us lots of pics and updates. I would book again in a heartbeat & recommend to anyone! Thanks again both 😊

Iryna took great care of my two dogs whilst I was working in Leamington Spa. She has a house with a garden and easy access for your car. The dogs clearly loved being with her - pulling on the lead to get into her place. All good - she sent photos and regularly updates.
Roscoe had an amazing day with Perla and Chris! They provided him a nice long walk with plenty of loving, and now I have a very tired Husky. 🥰 He also came back extremely clean and tidy. Perla was amazing to communicate and board with, so hope to use her and Chris again. Thanks both, you're awesome!! :)

- Medication, if applicable, with clear dosage notes

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
