“I cannot thank Elle enough for taking such wonderful care of our baby Mazapán. It was our first time using this app, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Elle put us completely at ease with her kindness and professionalism, sending us regular updates and the sweetest photos of our dog. She followed his routine perfectly, and from the pictures, it was clear he felt safe and loved. We’re so grateful to Elle and would absolutely trust her again with Mazapán!”

“Needed someone at short notice and Rebecca came to our rescue. As this was our first time I ask for a call and Rebecca did which reassured us that the booking was good. Rebecca turned up on time for an early start listened and took in everything we had to say about Oy and his needs. Handed iver to our family with no issues as well. Great service and we will use Rebecca again in the future. Thank you.”

“This couple are AMAZING! I have the most nervous, sensitive cat and he fell head over heels in love with this wonderful couple. They were gentle, they were careful and they did everything I asked and more. I had some wonderful updates and to see my cat who is so nervous so happy made my heart happy. I cannot wait to book them again and so thankful for everything they did this weekend!”

“Paris was absolutely amazing! I was given regular updates every day, I felt really relieved knowing Monty was being looked after so well, and I’d recommend Paris’s services to anyone looking for someone trustworthy, reliable and caring. Paris came to meet Monty before the sit and really took the time to understand his routine, and my home was immaculate when I came back. It was clear Monty had the time of his life while I was away! Thank you, Paris! :) 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟”

“Katherine was brilliant looking after Charlie and Nancy! She communicated clearly and consistently, which gave me peace of mind. She wasn’t fazed at all by the extra commitment that comes with a puppy! Katherine is really friendly, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her.”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, having grown up with them and always being the person friends and family trusted to help care for their pets. Over the years I’ve gained experience with both small and large breeds, each with their own personalities, quirks and needs. I have a real soft spot for rescue, nervous and reactive dogs. I believe in building trust through patience, consistency and positive experiences, creating walks and visits that are enjoyable rather than overwhelming. I’ve also volunteered for my favourite animal charity, as it is close to my heart. To support my experience, I’m fully insured, DBS checked and trained in Canine First Aid, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe hands. Whether it’s an adventure walk, a relaxed sniffari, a drop-in visit or simply keeping your dog company while you’re away, I’ll always do my very best for them. Every dog is an individual, and I love getting to know what makes each one happiest. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have the flexibility to provide reliable, consistent care throughout the week. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits or house sitting, I work around your dog’s routine as much as possible to keep things familiar and stress-free. I always allow plenty of time for each visit, so your pet never feels rushed. I don’t currently offer overnight stays, but I’m always happy to keep your pup company for an evening or provide daytime sitting and pop-in visits in the comfort of their own home Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I care for pets in your home, to keep their surroundings familiar. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding routines, medication, training cues or preferred walking routes. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and trained in Canine First Aid for added peace of mind. I understand that every dog is different, especially nervous, reactive or rescue dogs, so I always use calm, patient handling and adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. You’ll also receive regular photo and message updates, so you know your pet is happy and in safe hands.
“Anvesha was wonderful with Archie, she came to our house and saw him twice before staying with him and he absolutely loved her. We were nervous leaving him for the first time but she helped us feel comfortable by giving updates and sending photos. We’d 100% recommend her to any of our friends and family. She was really respectful in our house too, made the bed the next day and even washed up the few things she had used. Definitely our top choice for any dog sitting! Thank you again Anvesha! X”

About: Hello! I am a kind hearted, animal loving professional and I love nothing more than to stretch my legs with a doggo at my side! I have grown up around dogs, cats, horses and the occasional giant tortoise my whole life. I work from home Monday to Friday (9:00–5:30 with an hour for lunch), which gives me plenty of flexibility. I can usually fit visits in before and after work, and I'm often able to do lunchtime visits too. If you have specific timing requirements, just let me know and I'll always do my best to accommodate them. I'll also keep make sure to factor in a mini photoshoot each day & keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and being well looked after. In your home: I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I'll always follow your instructions so they feel comfortable and settled. Whether that's letting them into the garden, keeping them indoors, sticking to feeding schedules, administering medication (where appropriate), or simply giving them plenty of fuss and company, I'm happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I'll always treat them with the same love, patience and care that I give my own.

“Althea was an absolutely amazing sitter for our dog Dolly. Althea had a lovely approach with Dolly and you can tell she really loved dogs. She kept us up to date, send lots of pictures and videos and was very flexible around our dogs needs. Our house was also left really tidy when we returned. Thank you so much for looking after Dolly!”

About: I am very patient and understanding of the cats feelings of meeting someone new. I always give them time to meet me and get used to my presence and my voice and I don't get into their personal space. I am working full time, can visit early morning and afternoon and spend 30 min or more with the cats. I'm free both Saturday and Sunday, and can visit multiple times a day. I will respect all the house rules and guidance if the cats owners. After the basic case, I usually spend some time with the cats, depending on what they like or need. One of the cats I was looking for before (she now moved) was sitting next to me for hours while I was reading. She didn't liked to be pet or play too much, but was happy to just have company.

“Absolutely recommend Amelia. She is very punctual, professional and reliable. She is very fond of dogs and looked very well after our Cavapoo. Would book Amelia again.”

“Sommer has been great with Ralph, she’s attentive, clearly knows her stuff about dogs and has great communication. She sends us updates about Ralph throughout the day and follows instructions needed for his care. Ralph loves her and we’re so pleased he has her every week!”

About: For the last couple of years I have taken care of a whippet regularly having her to stay for up to a fortnight and just loved it. As a child we had labradors and my sister worked in a rescue. We also love learning about dog behaviour and are avid watchers of dogs behaving badly and all things around dog psychology. As a psychotherapist this aspect interests me. Really happy to help people out by caring for their pets. I have a daughter so they would need to be ok with children but otherwise I am very adaptable. I work part time self employed so I am not out of the house for big stretches of time. The dog would come on both school runs and also an additional walk if necessary. I have a fenced garden and no dogs or cats myself. We are close to nature and have woods and a large football field nearby for exercising. I am happy to go to your house also.
About: I've had dogs my entire life (I'm 41 now!), both large and small. With no current furry friend in tow I'm missing the joy they bring. Living by myself and having to work evenings means it currently isn't practical for me to get another dog. I'm constantly asked by friends and family to care for their for dogs while they're out so thought I would offer my services out to a wider audience. I work for myself as a personal trainer and also manage a bar. My hours generally revolve around early mornings and evenings so daytime hours are perfect for me even on short notice. Happy to care for pets in your home and take any dogs for a walk. I'm a very conscientious and thoughtful person and would make sure your dog's safety is always put first. I have recently completed a pet first aid course.
“Olivia was great with Bertie. She kept me updated throughout the evening and Bertie was really happy on my return. This was the first time Bertie has ever been left with someone he didn't know. Would definitely recommend Olivia.”

“My dog Maple can get a little nervous when meeting new people, but she warmed to Tsz Kiu straight away and they had a super time together! Tsz Kiu was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure Maple was well looked after. I would definitely recommend her!”

Althea was an absolutely amazing sitter for our dog Dolly. Althea had a lovely approach with Dolly and you can tell she really loved dogs. She kept us up to date, send lots of pictures and videos and was very flexible around our dogs needs. Our house was also left really tidy when we returned. Thank you so much for looking after Dolly!

Rebecca looked after our two miniature dachshunds, Penny and Primrose, for a couple of nights while we were away on holiday and was brilliant from start to finish. Before the stay, Rebecca came to meet the girls, which really put us at ease. The early 5am start for our flight was no problem, and being so flexible with timings was hugely appreciated. We also received lots of updates and photos while we were away, which was so reassuring, especially as it was the first time we’d left the girls with someone outside of our family (they’re 6 and 4). It was clear Penny and Primrose were well looked after and in great hands. We’d happily book Rebecca again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

Paris was brilliant! She took notes for our labradors care when she came to visit before the stay. During the stay she went out for her way to find a walking route with water that we had suggested, and brought (and very kindly left!) a bag of carrots for her because we had mentioned that it was a favourite. Paris checked in lots throughout the day and double checked anything she wasn't sure about. If I couldn't reply in time to a question, Paris went with her gut and nailed it. We can't wait till the next time Paris visits.

We are incredibly grateful to have found Laura, we had a meet and greet before and Enzo was more than happy with Laura. Laura communication was fantastic, we received regular photos and video updates and where Enzo had been on his walks he was well looked after and came back Happy which is a massive plus.would definitely recommend and re-book again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Charlotte looked after our dog for 5 nights and was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She followed every routine carefully, kept us updated regularly with photos and messages, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and relaxed our dog was the entire time! Thank you Charlotte.
My dog Maple can get a little nervous when meeting new people, but she warmed to Tsz Kiu straight away and they had a super time together! Tsz Kiu was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure Maple was well looked after. I would definitely recommend her!

Valirie and Ornella look after our two Yorkies and Cat for two weeks and all we can say OUTSTANDING! You will never find a more caring and committed team like them. We received the most beautiful pictures and messages every day. I can definitely recommend them and I will use them going forward. Well done !!

Hannah was a total lifesaver - stepping in to help us at short notice when Betty went into heat the week before our daughter's graduation. She is super friendly, easy going and incredibly tidy. So grateful she could come to our house to keep Betty company. She had walks and cuddles - she didn't miss us at all. Thank you so much Hannah - 110% recommend to other pet owners!

We’re so grateful that Deeksha was able to step in last minute when our usual sitter wasn’t available and our backup fell through. She stayed at our place with our pup for a long weekend and kept us updated with lots of sweet photos and videos, which we really appreciated while we were away. Yoshi seemed to like her right away, and it was comforting knowing he was in good hands. She also left our house clean and tidy, which was such a nice thing to come home to. Overall she took good care of him, and we’d definitely consider booking her again when our regular sitter isn’t available. Thanks again for helping us out on short notice!

Our dog Maple can be a bit nervous with new people, but she took to Francesca straight away and didn't bat an eye when I left. Francesca is clearly a dog lover and was warm, reassuring, friendly and fun (and willing to play all of Maple's favourite games! - she sent some lovely photos and a video of Maple looking like she was having the best time ever). I felt totally at ease knowing Maple was so well cared for and will definitely book with Francesca again in future.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Warwick walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Warwick choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
