“Lwazi was great - very personable, accountable and wanted us to know that he had understood the brief of looking after our dogs over a weekend. He sent us regular updates and photos and we felt reassured that our dogs were in safe hands. He left our house very clean and well tended. Would definitely book again.”

“We have booked Stefania twice and have just rebooked for a third time. She is excellent with our three dogs and they instantly loved her, and were very excited to see her return. Very pleased and happy to leave our loved ones in her very capable hands ☺️”

“Needed someone at short notice and Rebecca came to our rescue. As this was our first time I ask for a call and Rebecca did which reassured us that the booking was good. Rebecca turned up on time for an early start listened and took in everything we had to say about Oy and his needs. Handed iver to our family with no issues as well. Great service and we will use Rebecca again in the future. Thank you.”

About: Hello! I am a kind hearted, animal loving professional and I love nothing more than to stretch my legs with a doggo at my side! I have grown up around dogs, cats, horses and the occasional giant tortoise my whole life. I work from home Monday to Friday (9:00–5:30 with an hour for lunch), which gives me plenty of flexibility. I can usually fit visits in before and after work, and I'm often able to do lunchtime visits too. If you have specific timing requirements, just let me know and I'll always do my best to accommodate them. I'll also keep make sure to factor in a mini photoshoot each day & keep you updated with photos and messages while you're away, so you can relax knowing your pet is happy and being well looked after. In your home: I understand that every pet has their own routine, and I'll always follow your instructions so they feel comfortable and settled. Whether that's letting them into the garden, keeping them indoors, sticking to feeding schedules, administering medication (where appropriate), or simply giving them plenty of fuss and company, I'm happy to adapt to whatever your pet needs. I know how important it is to trust someone with your pets, so I'll always treat them with the same love, patience and care that I give my own.
“Beth was a fantastic dog sitter, she made it super easy to sort out. With update pictures and videos I knew Isla was having the best time. They were so kind and polite and left my house looking perfect. Would 100% book again!”

About: For the last couple of years I have taken care of a whippet regularly having her to stay for up to a fortnight and just loved it. As a child we had labradors and my sister worked in a rescue. We also love learning about dog behaviour and are avid watchers of dogs behaving badly and all things around dog psychology. As a psychotherapist this aspect interests me. Really happy to help people out by caring for their pets. I have a daughter so they would need to be ok with children but otherwise I am very adaptable. I work part time self employed so I am not out of the house for big stretches of time. The dog would come on both school runs and also an additional walk if necessary. I have a fenced garden and no dogs or cats myself. We are close to nature and have woods and a large football field nearby for exercising. I am happy to go to your house also.

“Sommer has been great with Ralph, she’s attentive, clearly knows her stuff about dogs and has great communication. She sends us updates about Ralph throughout the day and follows instructions needed for his care. Ralph loves her and we’re so pleased he has her every week!”

About: I’ve spent 4 years volunteering with the cinnamon trust, which is a charity providing pet care for the elderly and disabled who are no longer able to take care of their pets on their own. This includes walking, feeding, potty breaks and visits to keep company. I’m a university student currently off on break, which means I’m very open to changing my routine to fit in pets as I’d love to help out with taking care of animals. I am unfortunately not able to house pets in my flat, but I am very happy to take care of pets in owners homes if needed. I’m very attentive and love caring for pets. I’m happy to go on long or short walks and would enjoy spending the rest of the day keeping your pets company.

About: I’ve been on Trustedhousesitters for almost a year now and have had many sits with many dog breeds. Breeds includes, Labrador’s, Huskeys, Dalmatian’s, Corgis, and will continue to look after more! I work full time during the week on a normal 9-5, and spending time with dogs is fantastic and takes stress off, and stay active. I tend to walk dogs at least twice a day, and throughout the day if they look bored, I will play with them and run around in the garden.

About: I have been taking care of my own & other people's dogs for over a decade now. I can guarantee a fantastic service if you do decide to book with me!! I work during the day so always have time in the mornings for playing & walking. My work schedule is flexible so allows for drop in check ups for feeding & toilet breaks. I will do everything to make your pet feel as happy as can be. I will ensure toilet breaks and walks are completed as required. I will keep your pet company as much as wanted in your own home.
About: I am very patient and understanding of the cats feelings of meeting someone new. I always give them time to meet me and get used to my presence and my voice and I don't get into their personal space. I am working full time, can visit early morning and afternoon and spend 30 min or more with the cats. I'm free both Saturday and Sunday, and can visit multiple times a day. I will respect all the house rules and guidance if the cats owners. After the basic case, I usually spend some time with the cats, depending on what they like or need. One of the cats I was looking for before (she now moved) was sitting next to me for hours while I was reading. She didn't liked to be pet or play too much, but was happy to just have company.
About: Owned and been around labs my whole life and very comfortable with all dogs! Near a fields with lot space to run around and play. Work from home Monday and Friday and my dog Isla gets walked 2 times a day and stays downstairs whilst I work but has access to the garden all day. I have a fenced garden and spare large create incase you need your dog to sleep in a closed space. Ability to have dogs sleep in different rooms if needed.
About: Hi there, I’m Laura. You might recognise me from walking and cycling around Leamington and Whitnash. From a very young age I have loved animals and all of my friends know me as the biggest animal lover. I will give your dog as much love and affection it asks for. Or none, if it’s a dog who isn’t so fussed about being fussed! I’ll patiently wait on walks for the older, slower dogs, or those that like a good sniff. Equally, I’ll give the energetic ones a run for their money! Previously to being a dog sitter on Rover, I looked after my sister’s, friends’ and neighbours’ dogs for about 5 years, with walking, check-ins and having them to stay at my home. I’ve cared for both puppies and older dogs. Mess/clearing up after them is no problem. I initially joined Rover as my sister did a lot of dog sitting and walking via the app. As I didn’t have my own dog, I decided to help other people to look after theirs. So far, I’ve loved getting to know so many different dogs and their owners, and I’m building up a regular customer base. 🐾 Whether we meet in the local area or you pop round to mine, I think it’s really important for you, me and your dog to meet briefly before they come to stay for the first time. (However, I appreciate it’s not always possible.) I do have some standard questions I like to ask to understand your dog and make sure their usual routines and rules are followed. We can do this over message if needed. If I have your dog to stay for the day, I will make sure I am in for the entire day. If they are here over night, I’ll only leave them for an hour or so while I pop to the gym or head out for a run. Please note: I don’t have any experience in dog training. Big dogs are fine, as long as they don’t have behavioural issues and walk well on a lead (if they need a walk during their stay, of course). I do get a lot of requests to look after puppies. Unfortunately I am unable to look after young puppies Monday to Friday because of the time and attention they require - I do work full-time too! I am also unable to have dogs that are not yet housetrained. I do enjoy action packed weekends so my diary shows I am unable to take bookings, but please drop me a message to see if I might be free on the Saturday or Sunday you need a dog sitter. If I’m in, hopefully I’ll be able to help. I work for myself, at home. So, I have a lot of flexibility with being able to check in on, and walk dogs during the day. I can often be available at short notice. If you message me late at night, I will respond early the next morning. (I tend to go to bed early!) I’ll take the safety and security of your dog very seriously. Therefore he/she will always be walked on its lead, in the quietest areas possible. (I live near a really nice walk through fields.) I will only walk off-lead at your request. If I’m checking in on them in their own home, all of your house rules will of course be followed. I live in a quiet neighbourhood, but for additional security I ensure the doors to outside are always locked. I’ll never give your dog tip bits/human food.
“Katherine was brilliant looking after Charlie and Nancy! She communicated clearly and consistently, which gave me peace of mind. She wasn’t fazed at all by the extra commitment that comes with a puppy! Katherine is really friendly, reliable, and clearly loves dogs. I wouldn’t hesitate to book her again and highly recommend her.”

“Olivia was great with Bertie. She kept me updated throughout the evening and Bertie was really happy on my return. This was the first time Bertie has ever been left with someone he didn't know. Would definitely recommend Olivia.”

About: Hello! I'm Dolun and I have lived with cats for almost all my life. I have taken care of many stray cats and dogs, had them adopted, treated for health issues and fostered. I love all the animals and I care about them a lot. I work at home on both set hours and as a freelancer. I ride a motorcycle and bicycle so I'm flexible with the locations I can visit. I'll take care of your cats and dogs when you're away by meeting their regular requirements such as feeding, cleaning the litter box, refreshing the water, taking them out for a walk, grooming if needed and I will play with them if they feel like to. I won't bother them if thye are shy and I take my time to make friends with them. So far, I haven't met any pets that resisted my companion for long, regardless of how shy they are :)

“Althea was an absolutely amazing sitter for our dog Dolly. Althea had a lovely approach with Dolly and you can tell she really loved dogs. She kept us up to date, send lots of pictures and videos and was very flexible around our dogs needs. Our house was also left really tidy when we returned. Thank you so much for looking after Dolly!”

About: I’ve been around dogs for as long as I can remember, having grown up with them and always being the person friends and family trusted to help care for their pets. Over the years I’ve gained experience with both small and large breeds, each with their own personalities, quirks and needs. I have a real soft spot for rescue, nervous and reactive dogs. I believe in building trust through patience, consistency and positive experiences, creating walks and visits that are enjoyable rather than overwhelming. I’ve also volunteered for my favourite animal charity, as it is close to my heart. To support my experience, I’m fully insured, DBS checked and trained in Canine First Aid, so you can feel confident your dog is in safe hands. Whether it’s an adventure walk, a relaxed sniffari, a drop-in visit or simply keeping your dog company while you’re away, I’ll always do my very best for them. Every dog is an individual, and I love getting to know what makes each one happiest. Pet care is my full-time focus, so I have the flexibility to provide reliable, consistent care throughout the week. Whether it’s walks, drop-in visits or house sitting, I work around your dog’s routine as much as possible to keep things familiar and stress-free. I always allow plenty of time for each visit, so your pet never feels rushed. I don’t currently offer overnight stays, but I’m always happy to keep your pup company for an evening or provide daytime sitting and pop-in visits in the comfort of their own home Your dog’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I care for pets in your home, to keep their surroundings familiar. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, whether that’s feeding routines, medication, training cues or preferred walking routes. I’m fully insured, DBS checked and trained in Canine First Aid for added peace of mind. I understand that every dog is different, especially nervous, reactive or rescue dogs, so I always use calm, patient handling and adapt my approach to suit their individual needs. You’ll also receive regular photo and message updates, so you know your pet is happy and in safe hands.

Olivia was fab! Kept our cat company for a week of our trip and was great at keeping me updated. She was very understanding about being woken in the night early on by a demanding pet and it sounded like Cashew relaxed while Olivia was there and looked after her. So appreciate her great communication and looking after Cashew, wouldn’t hesitate to book her again (if she wanted to come back!!)

Althea was an absolutely amazing sitter for our dog Dolly. Althea had a lovely approach with Dolly and you can tell she really loved dogs. She kept us up to date, send lots of pictures and videos and was very flexible around our dogs needs. Our house was also left really tidy when we returned. Thank you so much for looking after Dolly!

Rebecca looked after our two miniature dachshunds, Penny and Primrose, for a couple of nights while we were away on holiday and was brilliant from start to finish. Before the stay, Rebecca came to meet the girls, which really put us at ease. The early 5am start for our flight was no problem, and being so flexible with timings was hugely appreciated. We also received lots of updates and photos while we were away, which was so reassuring, especially as it was the first time we’d left the girls with someone outside of our family (they’re 6 and 4). It was clear Penny and Primrose were well looked after and in great hands. We’d happily book Rebecca again and would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a caring and reliable dog sitter!

Paris was brilliant! She took notes for our labradors care when she came to visit before the stay. During the stay she went out for her way to find a walking route with water that we had suggested, and brought (and very kindly left!) a bag of carrots for her because we had mentioned that it was a favourite. Paris checked in lots throughout the day and double checked anything she wasn't sure about. If I couldn't reply in time to a question, Paris went with her gut and nailed it. We can't wait till the next time Paris visits.

We are incredibly grateful to have found Laura, we had a meet and greet before and Enzo was more than happy with Laura. Laura communication was fantastic, we received regular photos and video updates and where Enzo had been on his walks he was well looked after and came back Happy which is a massive plus.would definitely recommend and re-book again.

We couldn’t have asked for a better dog sitter! Charlotte looked after our dog for 5 nights and was absolutely wonderful from start to finish. She followed every routine carefully, kept us updated regularly with photos and messages, and it was so reassuring to see how happy and relaxed our dog was the entire time! Thank you Charlotte.
Natasha was exactly what we were looking for and more!!! She offered to do additional meet and greets to ensure our dogs were comfortable when she came to stay. She arrived promptly, sent loads of photos while we were away, the house was kept beautifully clean and the dogs seem to have had the best time with Natasha! Would definitely recommend Natasha to anyone looking for a dog sitter 😊

My dog Maple can get a little nervous when meeting new people, but she warmed to Tsz Kiu straight away and they had a super time together! Tsz Kiu was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure Maple was well looked after. I would definitely recommend her!

Valirie and Ornella look after our two Yorkies and Cat for two weeks and all we can say OUTSTANDING! You will never find a more caring and committed team like them. We received the most beautiful pictures and messages every day. I can definitely recommend them and I will use them going forward. Well done !!

We’re so grateful that Deeksha was able to step in last minute when our usual sitter wasn’t available and our backup fell through. She stayed at our place with our pup for a long weekend and kept us updated with lots of sweet photos and videos, which we really appreciated while we were away. Yoshi seemed to like her right away, and it was comforting knowing he was in good hands. She also left our house clean and tidy, which was such a nice thing to come home to. Overall she took good care of him, and we’d definitely consider booking her again when our regular sitter isn’t available. Thanks again for helping us out on short notice!

Our dog Maple can be a bit nervous with new people, but she took to Francesca straight away and didn't bat an eye when I left. Francesca is clearly a dog lover and was warm, reassuring, friendly and fun (and willing to play all of Maple's favourite games! - she sent some lovely photos and a video of Maple looking like she was having the best time ever). I felt totally at ease knowing Maple was so well cared for and will definitely book with Francesca again in future.
