“Lottie spent three days two nights with Chloe and Winnie her own Spaniel Faultless was what my husband said when asked re this review Chloe is friendly efficient and has excellent communication We were reassured that our Springer who is exuberant but can be anxious would be well cared for and this proved to be the case. We completely trusted that Lottie would enjoy her time and the updates confirmed our expectations and more We would recommend Chloe”

“As with Sabrena’s previous visit, we are delighted with Jessica’s flexibility, care and attentiveness to our little pup. An absolutely pleasure to leave her in Jessica’s care. Thank you.”

“Nova absolutely loved her stay! It was so reassuring knowing she was in such caring and capable hands. We received regular updates throughout her stay, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to see just how happy and settled she was.”

“This was Baileys 7th or 8th stay with Martine and Alex. As always we couldn’t have been happier knowing Bailey was in their extremely capable (and loving) hands. Martine is always great with communication and send lots of photos and updates which we love. It’s obvious they treat Bailey with so much love and care, as she is always excited when she realises where she is and quickly makes herself at home. On this occasion we had a last minute unavoidable change in our plans. This lead to requesting to extend the booking and although Martine and Alex had some other bookings in between they went above and beyond to assist in getting Bailey cared for. We couldn’t have been more appreciative as they took one thing off our plate when dealing with a lot of plan changes and organising ourselves. Knowing Bailey was in their hands relieved a lot of stress and worry at a difficult time. I just cannot recommend Martine & Alex highly enough. We often talk about how lucky we are to have found in them, the absolute best match for our Bailey girl.”

About: I've always loved dogs! We lost our beloved dog Henry at Christmas and my home feels a little quiet. I would love to care for your furry friend. I will ensure they get plenty of fresh air as I live opposite a green space, centrally located with lots of choice of parks to visit for playtime. Offering countless cuddles and the dedicated attention they deserve when they're away. I have a flexible work schedule and can work from home. I have support of my adult daughter, between us we are fully committed to a dog's needs. I have a bright, airy apartment with a large green space on our doorstep. I am used to taking a dog out regularly as part of my daily routine. A secure environment and safe space is essential when caring for dogs. I am more than happy to set up a crate if it is part of your dog's routine. My priority is to ensure your dog feels at ease, cared for and loved.

“My first time using Rover and I lucked out with Carla. She suggested a meet and greet and Bean loved her and her dog and I’m not sure she wanted to leave when I got back from holiday ! Lovely family fussing her.I appreciate Carla’s confidence and warmth with dogs, photos and flexibility to do early mornings. Will definitely be dropping Bean with her again”
“Ozzy seemed to enjoy himself. Communication was easy with messages sent with photos of Ozzys outings and activities. Carole met us before the visit to see if it was a suitable match for both parties and it worked out great for us. I would definitely use Carole again and recommend her to others, she is friendly and accommodating the location for us great”

“Would highly recommend, Luisa stepped in at short notice, responded incredibly quickly, and immediately put our minds at ease when we needed a dog sitter. Luisa kept in regular contact and sent updates, which we really appreciated. It was clear our puppy was being well cared for, getting plenty of attention, and was very happy in their care. We’re so grateful for the kindness, reliability, and genuine care they showed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a trustworthy and attentive dog sitter!”

“I cannot recommend Peggy enough! It was Otis’ first time with a dog sitter and it was a super smooth process from start to finish. Peggy took on board Otis’ routine and his little quirks. The photos she sent of him enjoying himself were lovely and the daily updates meant we knew he was enjoying his doggy holidays. Because Peggy looks after guide dogs she was very knowledgeable and I’m sure he came home better behaved and we will use some of her boredom buster techniques. That being said, Peggy and her family loved Otis just the same as we do, as a pet. On our part, Otis maybe a little overindulged, not a working dog, but she was very complimentary about him!”

“Our Labradoodle (Darcy) had her first boarding with Amanda for just over a week in August 2025. Amanda was extremely welcoming and friendly and after an initial 'Meet & Greet' session with her and her lovely Golden Retriever, we were happy to confirm our booking. Amanda kept us posted of Darcy's settling in and we received copious terrific photos of the many dog walks undertaken with Darcy and her own dog. Indeed, Darcy reported back that she was very comfortable at Amandas, enjoyed the walks and the Retrievers company. I would not hesitate to recommend Amanda.”

“Laura is a lovely, smiley, cheerful person and Teddy took to her immediately. She was very enthusiastic in meeting Teddy and wanted to know everything about him and this was reflected in the quality time she spent with him and the things they did together. On the daily text and picture updates Laura did some lovely walks with Teddy and Laura and her partner took him out for their breakfast. All three looked blissfully happy. It was so comforting for me seeing Teddy happy and Laura really enjoying her time with him. Laura’s house is perfect for dogs and Teddy was good company for Laura when she worked at home. Just like at home with me. Laura did so much more than a dog sit. Teddy was at no rush to leave when I arrived to take him home and this is testimony to the quality time she spent with him. I would not hesitate to leave Teddy with Laura again. She was so proactive with him, trying out his tricks and he looked as if he was having an enjoyable time.”

“Lisa was absolutely lovely and our dog Rufus had a great stay with her and her family and came back very happy! Before his stay Rufus met Lisa in a local park with her dog Giggsy and they got on great. Would definitely use Lisa’s services again and recommend her highly!!”

“Stefania is a brilliant pet sitter who clearly loves animals and goes the extra mile to ensure your pet is looked after and happy. Stefania looked after our cat for a week whilst we were on holiday, and provided daily updates and pictures. We would recommend to anyone and will definitely be using again! Thank you for everything Stefania ⭐️”

“Olivia was fab! Kept our cat company for a week of our trip and was great at keeping me updated. She was very understanding about being woken in the night early on by a demanding pet and it sounded like Cashew relaxed while Olivia was there and looked after her. So appreciate her great communication and looking after Cashew, wouldn’t hesitate to book her again (if she wanted to come back!!)”

“I cannot recommend Luna enough. It was so reassuring to know that I’d left my cat in such safe hands. Luna provided more photos and videos of her visits than you possibly wish for and a detailed report of the visit.”

“Gemma was fabulous with Olive while we were away! She visited promptly every day, provided detailed updates and went above and beyond to ensure Olive was happy, well-fed and cared for. She even spent time outside in the garden. Olive warmed to her quickly - a rarity - which means she must be good! Thank you Gemma for looking after her so well and we will be rebooking very soon.”

“Beth & Floyd were wonderful cat sitters to our two boys! They were easy to communicate with, trustworthy and all round lovely people :) they sent us photos of our boys after their visits to help give us piece of mind as well which was much appreciated. Will gladly book them again in the future!”

About: I've lived with cats all of my life and feel no home is complete without at least one! I'm great at understanding the massive spectrum of cat needs, behaviour and care and ensuring I'm gentle and compassionate in my approach with your pet. I'm experienced in the care of semi feral cats, as well as house cats and everything in between. I can administer medicine, create opportunities for play or simply be present, ensuring your animal feels happy and safe. I'm a great communicator and happy to provide lots of reassurance and updates whenever it's needed.

About: I’ve grown up with at least 2 cats at a time since I was younger. They have all had varying personalities from playful to shy, to grumpy! I’ve learned over the years to read the signs and understand their needs, and when they want to be left be.

“Rebecca has been an excellent sitter. Instantly bonded with both cats, so I could see how well she would treat them. Asked all the right questions for care info before I had to say anything. Punctual, and sent good pics and videos of the cats at play or posing. Will gladly ask her to sit again. Recommended.”

“Tara took great care of our cat during our absence. Our cat had someone taking care of the meals, a friend to play with and looks very happy now we are back home. I will likely book with Tara again”

“I will be using Madalina from now on, she is reliable, trustworthy and has been wonderful with Charlie. We have come home to a very relaxed and blissfully happy cat, that is not the easiest of characters, so Madalina really is a cat whisperer because she has tamed him! I would recommend her whole-heartedly.”
About: I love to be outside in nature and am always so happy when I meet friends for a walk and they bring their dogs with them - that is why I decided to try Rover. I grew up with Rhodesian Ridgebacks so have very fond memories with big dogs, but having spent time with my friends’ Westies, Cavapoos, Frienchies etc… I’m equally fond of smaller pups too! I have a large enclosed garden where dogs can relax, but I love to walk so they will mainly be out with me (as long as that suits their needs). My home is surrounded by parks with the closest being almost immediately next door. I am on the ground floor and the property is all on one level so older dogs/those with hip problems/those who simply don’t like stairs will have no problem. I think the most important thing to say is that I love dogs and know I can take excellent care of them. I have very flexible working hours and can structure my weeks based on your needs and the needs of your dog. I will always let owners know if dogs will be left at own for any amount of time. With no other pets in my home I can assure owners that their dog(s) will receive my full attention. I never care for more than one dog at a time (unless the owner has multiple dogs themselves). They will be walked according to your schedule and have access to a large enclosed gardens.

“Martine was so friendly, attentive, and clearly cares about the dogs she looks after. Bonnie came home happy, well-exercised, and relaxed. We really appreciate the last minute booking too, it helped us out a lot!”

“Peggy was absolutely amazing with our dog. She is an overly excited rescue dog who is still learning some training. She’s anxious with new people but Peggy and her family made her feel so at home, I revived photos and videos all day of their activities and she came home happy, well fed, walked and very relaxed. I will 100% trust in Peggy and her family to take care of her again.”

“Coco loves Caroline and gets very excited when she arrives at her flat. Caroline takes great care of Coco taking her for walks, giving her hugs and affection, care and attention to her needs and sending me lots of photos and videos. Coco enjoys the company of any other dogs who might be with her during the day.”

About: Dogs are a massive part of my life, I have always cared for walked had for day care or overnight for my close friends and family. I have 2 dogs of my own and my older dog is now almost 16 so am well practiced in older dog care! I have also completed a canine first aid course I mostly work from home so this gives me the opportunity to spend much more of my time with my dogs and yours if they come to stay, to enjoy walks play time and of course lots of cuddles. To allow me to plan my diary ensuring this I do usually require a bit of notice as I do plan my schedule about a week ahead. I also like to do a meet and greet (if we have not previously met) prior to accepting a request. This is to ensure your dogs and mine all get on ok together. This sometimes involves a trial first. Please do feel free to ask though, should you have a last minute request and I will always try and accommodate if I can. I have a small fully enclosed garden to which my dogs can have access to at all times. My downstairs space is 2 rooms allowing for dogs to be separated if required. All dogs in my care will receive 2 on the lead walks per day unless there are reasons they can’t or sometimes I use a secure field too so if they need a bit of freedom they can have this safely. Safety and well being is of utmost importance to me to ensure any dog in my care is looked after to the best of my ability and will given all the cuddles they want!
“Jessica has been a great dog sitter for Dewey! She is easy to communicate with and Dewey settled in very quickly with her. She also sent us loads of photos when Dewey was with her. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a dog sitter and we will definitely come back again :)”

“Jenny was able to accommodate our puppy's needs in the day of boording and on collection showed real understanding and patience of his behaviours. It was easy to see our puppy had enjoyed his time there and was comfortable in their property. This was the first time our puppy has stayed anywhere else and she kept us nicely informed during the day via whatsapp and talked through hints and tips on pick-up.”

“Iryna took great care of my two dogs whilst I was working in Leamington Spa. She has a house with a garden and easy access for your car. The dogs clearly loved being with her - pulling on the lead to get into her place. All good - she sent photos and regularly updates.”

About: Hello, my name is Carla. Animals have always been a huge part of mine and my family’s life. We’ve cared for cats, dogs, hamsters and fish, so I’m comfortable with a wide range of pets. I truly see pets as part of the family and understand how important it is to know they’re in safe, loving hands when you’re away. Having grown up with dogs, I have many years of hands on experience with breeds. I currently have my own Maltese Shih Tzu, Archie, and have previously cared for a Border Terrier puppy, so I understand the importance of routine, regular exercise and plenty of affection. Working from home allows me to offer flexible availability and consistent, reliable care, so your dog will never feel left alone for long. I provide a calm, loving home environment with plenty of walks, playtime, and cuddles. I offer both doggy daycare and overnight stays, and I always aim to make your pet feel completely at home. Working from home allows me to offer flexible availability and consistent, reliable care. This allows for plenty of walks, playtime, cuddles and chill time. We generally do a walk in the morning and a walk in the evening but will stick to the routine of your dog. For overnight stays at our house your dog will be part of the family and have a basket in my office, as well as lots of cuddles on the sofa. We also have a fenced garden so your dog will be able to go outside as much as they want too and will be able to play with our Archie, who loves playing with other dogs.

“Chloe has been amazing with Herbie, she has kept us updated and sent some very cute pictures. Herbie is still young so quite lively and excitable which she has handled really well. Her pup Winnie has been so good and patient with him too. We will definitely use her again if she will have him!”

About: Having dog companions has always been one of those constants. They're more than just a pet, they're family. There has never been a moment when there hasn't been a dog in my house and I have experience owning a host of breeds from Jack Russell to German Shepherd. I'm a relaxed person, and put a lot of time into my own doggos, along with caring for my in-laws Dachshund once a week. I work from home full-time in a non-stressful role, and have my two playful spaniels to keep me company! Due to the nature of the role, I get plenty of downtime for the doggos :) I have a detached family home with a fenced garden. The back door is left open during warmer months, and the back gates are secured. I have my two spaniels, Lola and Milo who love to meet new doggos
“Olivia provided great care of our dog, Clover, who had lots of fun playing with Rufus. It was lovely to have a meet and greet beforehand and made us feel confident leaving Clover. We would highly recommend Olivia and have already booked her again!”

About: Have had dogs all my life (and cats, ponies, chickens, growing up). Have trained own dogs, and looked after other people's pets for many years. During school holidays and weekends, have availability to look after well-behaved dogs in our home when I have time to walk and interact with them. I have a walled/fenced garden and your dog can freely wander in and out of house as I'm often in garden. In addition 2 good walks a day with our friendly golden retriever.
“Carole has been a great with Alfie during his 5 days of daycare. He enjoyed the stay and he was very happy to see Carole every morning. I definitely recommend Carole, she has uploaded lots of photos and updates, great communication, 5 stars!”

“From the moment I met Anna and her partner, I knew they would be the perfect couple to look after my frenchie. They provide a very calm environment which is what’s needed for my timid girl! Anna provided updates and a little video too. Really pleased with the service provided and I know in time, my very shy frenchie will also start to feel very settled there.”

“As we dropped Rox off for her first stay, Paul was very understanding as we reeled off her litany of health problems; we got photos showing her have a great time; and she came home tired!”

“Melissa and her family have been wonderful from the start. We made a last-minute booking after just setting up the app due to work commitments, and their communication was prompt and clear throughout. Elsa had an amazing time playing with her new doggy friends and going on walks—she came home and went straight to sleep! We highly recommend Melissa and will definitely be booking again soon. Overall experience: 10/10! Thank you for everything! 😊”

“Olivia has been fantastic with my 4 years old poodle, Bailey. I, was really happy with the level of exercise that Bailey is having, while on walks with Olivia. Thoroughly recomend!”

About: For the last couple of years I have taken care of a whippet regularly having her to stay for up to a fortnight and just loved it. As a child we had labradors and my sister worked in a rescue. We also love learning about dog behaviour and are avid watchers of dogs behaving badly and all things around dog psychology. As a psychotherapist this aspect interests me. Really happy to help people out by caring for their pets. I have a daughter so they would need to be ok with children but otherwise I am very adaptable. I work part time self employed so I am not out of the house for big stretches of time. The dog would come on both school runs and also an additional walk if necessary. I have a fenced garden and no dogs or cats myself. We are close to nature and have woods and a large football field nearby for exercising. I am happy to go to your house also.
About: I’ve had experience with dogs of all sizes and breeds. I did grooming for guide dogs and completed my level 2 and 3 in dog grooming. I’ve had a love for animals my entire life and owned many different types of animals. I have my own dog Mia and she’s a chiweenie (chihuahua x dachshund) and she loves other dogs. I have trained her and involved her in puppy training classes to maintain toilet training and recall 🐾. I also have a dog called Bandit and he’s also very very friendly with other dogs. He knows to respect space and boundaries of other dogs as he is around an older rescue daily. I have owned and taken care of dogs and animals my entire life and have a true passion for animals of all sizes 🐾. I’d love to take care of your pet for you, and can guarantee any pet in my care is treated as one of the family 🐾🌸. I have lots of time as I want to go into dog grooming/ care full time. I previously have been completing my grooming qualifications which I have now completed. I offer all my attention and time ensuring the dogs feel as safe and comfortable as possible. Making sure there’s a bond built along with trust especially during the first time meeting.

“Lisa was absolutely lovely and our dog Rufus had a great stay with her and her family and came back very happy! Before his stay Rufus met Lisa in a local park with her dog Giggsy and they got on great. Would definitely use Lisa’s services again and recommend her highly!!”

“Megan has been wonderful for our Cooper! He has been well looked after for the weekend, with lots of outdoor time. Megan even sent us pics and videos to show us he was comfortable there. Wonderful boarder - will book again.”

“I was initially skeptical as my 1 year old Labrador has never been lodged outside with someone whom he’s not met before but I have to say Maria was fantastic . She gave us regular updates about how our pet was settling in and you could tell that she loved having him over . I’m so glad I chose to leave our dog with her. I have no hesitations to recommend her and will definitely look to rebook if there’s another opportunity.”

“Becky was brilliant, put us at ease as soon as we met her , had obviously a great deal of experience with and love for dogs, we were very happy that Ivy was going to be well looked after, will defo use Becky again”

“Gus had a wonderful stay with Katherine! He settled in straight away and made himself right at home, he had a great time ☺️ he now pulls us to Katherine’s house when we walk past haha”

“Couldn’t have asked for a better first time experience using rover than booking with Olivia (Tom and Rufus!) I felt at ease after a great meet and greet, they are clearly dog lovers and it shows through how happy Monte was. 100% would recommend to anyone who’s looking to look after their dog. We will definitely rebook!”

“Rachel was great from start to finish, and Alan (large breed, BMD cross) settled instantaneously from being dropped off with her. Communication was great, all aspects of his stay were covered and updates were sent frequently to let me know how he was getting on. Would absolutely recommend!”

“Archie was very well looked after and i would be more than happy to leave Archie with Paul and his family again. I recieved an update advising me that Archie had settled in well which was very appreciated too.”

“Rudy had another lovely stay with Amelia and was very excited to see her and Nugget again when he arrived. Nugget was very accommodating to having Rudy in her space again, thank you Amelia :)”
