“Megan looked after our Border Terrier for over a week for us. We took Scout around to see her prior to the holiday so she could explain how things would work and to see how he interacted with her own dog. Megan was very friendly and thoughtful and we explained his needs etc. This was the first time Scout had been with a boarder. We discussed Scout's medical condition. Whilst we were away Megan sent us regular videos and photographs to update us as to how he was getting on. Megan took Scout on lots of lovely walks and kept him on a long lead when appropriate as we had requested. You could see what a wonderful time Scout was having. When I collected Scout, Megan told me how well he had fitted in. Scout looked fit and well. I would be more than happy for Megan to look after Scout in the future.”

About: Dogs are a massive part of my life, I have always cared for walked had for day care or overnight for my close friends and family. I have 2 dogs of my own and my older dog is now almost 16 so am well practiced in older dog care! I have also completed a canine first aid course I mostly work from home so this gives me the opportunity to spend much more of my time with my dogs and yours if they come to stay, to enjoy walks play time and of course lots of cuddles. To allow me to plan my diary ensuring this I do usually require a bit of notice as I do plan my schedule about a week ahead. I also like to do a meet and greet (if we have not previously met) prior to accepting a request. This is to ensure your dogs and mine all get on ok together. This sometimes involves a trial first. Please do feel free to ask though, should you have a last minute request and I will always try and accommodate if I can. I have a small fully enclosed garden to which my dogs can have access to at all times. My downstairs space is 2 rooms allowing for dogs to be separated if required. All dogs in my care will receive 2 on the lead walks per day unless there are reasons they can’t or sometimes I use a secure field too so if they need a bit of freedom they can have this safely. Safety and well being is of utmost importance to me to ensure any dog in my care is looked after to the best of my ability and will given all the cuddles they want!

About: I’ve spent 4 years volunteering with the cinnamon trust, which is a charity providing pet care for the elderly and disabled who are no longer able to take care of their pets on their own. This includes walking, feeding, potty breaks and visits to keep company. I can comfortably manage 2-3 days a week walking or sitting and can be flexible. As a walker I aim to take dogs out for at least an hour walk on lead. “Five stars and more for Peggy Michael and family !! From our first meeting we knew that Luna would be at home and feel like she was on holiday in a five star hotel !!. Peggy was so interested in Luna her likes and dislikes and routine which were all catered for including our special request for lots of cuddles.!!! Also sent us lots of messages and photos whilst we were away which was very reassuring. We would have no hesitation in asking Peggy and family to take care of Luna again, or in recommending her services to anyone. All our thanks and love again. Mandy Tony & Luna !”
“Great to know that Woody is safe and well looked after by another dog lover - especially a GR owner! - while we were away. Woody clearly had a great time, and loved sharing his toys and teddy with Chloe. Always hate leaving Woody, but Mandy helps make it less stressful.”

“2nd time we’ve booked Jackie to watch our 2 French bulldogs. Would highly recommend to anyone, especially if feeling anxious about leaving your dogs. He’s a very lively and vocal border collie and they managed this really well with lots of walks and playing.
