“Arwen was amazing! Having only had Rodney for 14wks we were nervous to leave him for the first time but Arwen was incredible we got so many lovely photos of Rodney and duchess and he was taken on walks, puppy play dates and had the best time! We are so glad to have found someone who we can rely on and trust with not only our fur babies but our home as well. Rodney and duchess can’t wait for us to go away for another weekend at this point they had the best time!”

“We have booked Stefania twice and have just rebooked for a third time. She is excellent with our three dogs and they instantly loved her, and were very excited to see her return. Very pleased and happy to leave our loved ones in her very capable hands ☺️”

About: I have loved dogs, cats and small furry friends since I was little. I have had a few different breeds of dogs myself, I now have a rottie called Hunter who makes my life eventful and fun every day! He is the friendliest big doggo you will ever meet and loves to think he’s a lap dog… I work full time but work from home most Wednesdays and every Thursday and Friday. Don’t work weekends so am flexible. When I’m working from home I always have the door open to our enclosed garden (except if it’s raining enough to build Noah’s ark) and have time to regularly check on dogs and they are also very welcome to chill next to me as I work away! I have a fenced large back garden. Hunter the very friendly beast (Rottie) who is a perfect play date so will keep your fur baby entertained to say the least and he loves other dogs.
“No hesitation rebooking with Jessica. She has a natural affinity with pooches and our cocker Ness loves her. Already booking more sits with confidence we’ll come back to a happy pup”

About: I’ve spent 4 years volunteering with the cinnamon trust, which is a charity providing pet care for the elderly and disabled who are no longer able to take care of their pets on their own. This includes walking, feeding, potty breaks and visits to keep company. I’m a university student currently off on break, which means I’m very open to changing my routine to fit in pets as I’d love to help out with taking care of animals. I am unfortunately not able to house pets in my flat, but I am very happy to take care of pets in owners homes if needed. I’m very attentive and love caring for pets. I’m happy to go on long or short walks and would enjoy spending the rest of the day keeping your pets company.
About: For the last couple of years I have taken care of a whippet regularly having her to stay for up to a fortnight and just loved it. As a child we had labradors and my sister worked in a rescue. We also love learning about dog behaviour and are avid watchers of dogs behaving badly and all things around dog psychology. As a psychotherapist this aspect interests me. Really happy to help people out by caring for their pets. I have a daughter so they would need to be ok with children but otherwise I am very adaptable. I work part time self employed so I am not out of the house for big stretches of time. The dog would come on both school runs and also an additional walk if necessary. I have a fenced garden and no dogs or cats myself. We are close to nature and have woods and a large football field nearby for exercising. I am happy to go to your house also.
“Bhasuri and her partner did such an amazing job looking after Norman. It was the first time we had left him after moving, and we felt so reassured he was having the best time and we were able to completely relax whilst away. He absolutely adored them staying in our home, and they also took great care of our old house.”

About: I have been surrounded by pets since I was born. Dogs, cats, rabbits, gerbils, fish, chickens and horses. Now retired, I am looking to fill my time with pet sitting as my new career. I have recently retired, and love walking my own dogs. I have the most of the day to spend time with your pet, walking or playing. We have a large fenced garden, with ample space to board other animals. We have direct access to woods and fields, with many varied walks.
“I booked Jiahui for house sitting with Cookie, and she was absolutely brilliant. She came over for a meet & greet beforehand, which immediately made me feel at ease and confident leaving Cookie with her. While I was away, she kept me updated regularly with photos of Cookie looking happy and relaxed. She followed all the care instructions perfectly, including feeding times, walks, and everything else. When I came home, Cookie was clearly well cared for, and the house was spotless — which honestly says it all. Jiahui is clearly very experienced with dogs and extremely responsible. Communication was smooth throughout, and I felt completely comfortable knowing Cookie was in good hands. I would definitely book her again.”
About: Hi! I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who has been a dedicated dog owner since April 2020. Although I don’t have formal pet sitting experience, I have hands-on experience caring for my own dogs every day — including raising a few newborn puppies. This has made me especially patient, gentle, and attentive to dogs’ needs at every stage of life. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I will treat your dog like my own family member, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Pet care is already part of my daily life as a dog owner, so I easily incorporate it into my routine. I am available after 4:30pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. I also work from home one day between Tuesday and Thursday, which means I can offer daytime care and keep your dog company instead of leaving them alone. I have a flexible schedule during these times and can provide reliable, attentive care, ensuring your pet receives plenty of companionship, supervision, and love. I specialise in caring for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. By keeping your pet in a familiar environment, I help reduce stress and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow all instructions, stay attentive to their behaviour, and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. This approach is especially beneficial for dogs who are anxious, shy, or simply prefer staying in their own space. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates for your peace of mind.
“Thank you so much for looking after our cats at such short notice! They were immediately settled and comfort with you both. We loved the twice daily updates and all the photos of them.”

“River was a great house and pet sitter for my 3 pets. They made sure I was kept up to date with photos and messages every day and was very flexible when our plans changed without much notice. I would highly recommend River to look after you cats and dogs!”

About: Hi, I’m Skye! I’ve been around animals for most of my life and genuinely love caring for them. I have experience looking after dogs and cats for friends and family, including feeding, walking, playtime, cleaning up after them, and making sure they feel safe, happy, and comfortable while their owners are away. I understand that every pet has their own personality and routine, so I take the time to get to know their needs. Whether your pet enjoys long walks, playing fetch, quiet cuddles, or simply sticking to their normal schedule, I’ll provide patient and attentive care. I offer dog walking, drop-in visits, house sitting, and pet sitting. During visits I can feed pets, refresh water, administer basic oral medication if required, provide plenty of play and enrichment, clean litter trays or garden mess, and send regular photo and video updates so you know your pet is doing well. I work full-time during weekdays, (7:30-6in Bicester) so I’m available in the evenings, before work, weekends, and on many bank holidays. I’ll always be honest about my availability and will only accept bookings that allow me to give your pet the time, attention, and care they deserve. I treat every pet as if they were my own and pride myself on being reliable, trustworthy, and respectful of both your home and your pet’s routine. I’d love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family member! I’m reliable, punctual and happy to work around your pet’s normal routine to keep them comfortable while you’re away. Your pet’s safety and wellbeing are my top priorities. I’ll always follow your instructions carefully, including feeding schedules, medication, walking routines and any special requirements. I take the time to build trust with every pet, provide plenty of affection and enrichment, and I’ll keep you updated with photos and messages so you know they’re happy and well cared for.

About: I’ve been on Trustedhousesitters for almost a year now and have had many sits with many dog breeds. Breeds includes, Labrador’s, Huskeys, Dalmatian’s, Corgis, and will continue to look after more! I work full time during the week on a normal 9-5, and spending time with dogs is fantastic and takes stress off, and stay active. I tend to walk dogs at least twice a day, and throughout the day if they look bored, I will play with them and run around in the garden.
“Annie was fantastic looking after Charlie and Nancy. She stepped in at very short notice, which I really appreciated. Communication was excellent throughout, with regular updates and photos that put me completely at ease. She was calm, reliable, and clearly great with them. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her and would happily ask her again 😀”

About: I have always looked after animals since a young age. I have a family Springador who is now 9 years old and a 2 year old Cockapoo who is also a family dog (but do not live with me). I miss going on more regular dog walks so I am looking forward to meeting lots of new fur-friends! I love being outdoors and regularly go on walks - so why not exercise the dogs at the same time! I work from home so I enjoy getting out and about during the week and at weekends. I work from home 4 days a week and regularly go on walks either in the morning, at lunch or in the evening (depending on the weather). I am also around at weekends. I have a secure grass garden and hard floors downstairs. There is also space for a crate or dog bed and the house can be made dog-friendly when required.

“My dog Maple can get a little nervous when meeting new people, but she warmed to Tsz Kiu straight away and they had a super time together! Tsz Kiu was very friendly and went above and beyond to make sure Maple was well looked after. I would definitely recommend her!”

Another fabulous weekend for Rodney and duchess with Arwen! She looks after them both so well and is such a kind an caring person. She set puppy play dates for Rodney who adores meeting his friend Roxy again and duchess was well loved with some cuddle time. Duchess had some hairballs as she is a long haired cat and Arwen recommended some treats which she then gifted us to try which duchess loves which was beyond kind. We get regular pictures and updates from Arwen and our babies are always so happy to see her when she comes back for another sitting job which makes going away from them so much easier. Cannot recommend Arwen enough! X

Arwen was absolutely brilliant! Really helped us out at short notice. Looked after our dog Dottie so well. Lots of walks and fuss. Dottie was pooped and very settled when we got home. Just what you want! Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend and use Arwen in the future :)
