About: I offer different kinds of walks, catered to your dogs needs, whether a quick pop in, a sniff walk or a ramble in their favourite wood. I am currently undertaking a pet first aid course to be able to offer that extra peace of mind for your pet. I will happily send over lots of photos and videos of your pet having the best time 😊 I am also an avid cat lover, having been the butler to my rescue boy, Floof for 8 years. I have had cats in my life growing up and once took in a mama and her 3 babies, whilst having 2 already established in my house. It was chaos and I loved every second I have also been DBS checked. I currently work 9-5 but I am up with the birds, so can happily do early morning visits and walks. I can come straight after work for a longer visit or walk if needed I prefer to care for your pets in your own home, giving them the security and familiarity they need. I am happy to take them on their regular walks or home visits.

About: My name is Rhiann and I am 32 years old. I live in Rugby and have been caring for pets for around 7 years officially, however have been helping friends and family out since I was 16! I can provide lots of references from current and past pet owners who have used my service. I am friendly, reliable and easy going- no job is too big or too small, I will endeavour to fulfil any requirements you may have! I am very flexible so will always try my best to fit your requirements into my daily schedule to the best of my ability. No job is too big or too small, I treat all pets like my own and endeavour to send photos and videos to owners every single visit. I regularly had repeat clients and look forward to seeing my furry friends time and time again! To chat, please get in touch! :) I will always aim to visit your pets between 7am and 9am on my way to my main job as a primary school teacher. I will ensure pets are fed and left with clean water bowls and litter trays for the day. I am happy to stay and play/have cuddles (if this is something your cats enjoy of course!) before heading off for the day. I will then aim to return between 5pm and 7pm for evening checks. Cats will be fed, litter cleaned and water refreshed. This is my main opportunity to spend some time with the kitties that need it, and it’s the part of the day I enjoy the most! I can administer mediation and leave treats at the discretion of the owner. Also happy to do little jobs such as draw curtains/blinds, open or close cat flaps, but bins out etc! I will always follow the instructions of the pet owner to ensure the animals usually daily routine is adhered to to the best of my ability. No request is too big or too small; if it’s what the pet needs I’ll be happy to oblige!
About: Hi! I’m a caring and responsible dog lover who has been a dedicated dog owner since April 2020. Although I don’t have formal pet sitting experience, I have hands-on experience caring for my own dogs every day — including raising a few newborn puppies. This has made me especially patient, gentle, and attentive to dogs’ needs at every stage of life. I understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pet. I will treat your dog like my own family member, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved at all times. Pet care is already part of my daily life as a dog owner, so I easily incorporate it into my routine. I am available after 4:30pm on weekdays and all day on weekends. I also work from home one day between Tuesday and Thursday, which means I can offer daytime care and keep your dog company instead of leaving them alone. I have a flexible schedule during these times and can provide reliable, attentive care, ensuring your pet receives plenty of companionship, supervision, and love. I specialise in caring for pets in their own home, where they feel most comfortable and secure. By keeping your pet in a familiar environment, I help reduce stress and maintain their normal routine. I carefully follow all instructions, stay attentive to their behaviour, and make sure they feel safe, relaxed, and well cared for at all times. This approach is especially beneficial for dogs who are anxious, shy, or simply prefer staying in their own space. I’m also happy to provide regular photo and video updates for your peace of mind.
“Plans change and Meg went to stay with Gary and his wife and three dogs . She was well looked after and was taken for a walk with the other dogs. I highly recommend Gary a very polite kind gentleman.”

About: Hi! I am a friendly, caring and reliable professional. I recently moved to Rugby from London, where I looked after lots of cats in my local area through Cat in a Flat. I grew up with animals and have had pets all of my life. I have lovely (and sometime mischievous) ginger cat of my own at home but I love to make other feline friends! I am looking forward to hearing from you!
“Jessica so obviously loves pooches! Her updates made us feel relaxed about having left Ness for the first time. Will have no hesitation booking her again so we can go away in the knowledge our baby will be very well looked after and snuggled😍🐶”

I treat every dog as if they were my own and strive to provide a safe, loving and reliable environment where owners can feel confident that their pets are in experienced hands. Why I Love Dogs Dogs have always been a part of my family and daily life. I am committed to treating every dog as if they were my own. I provide a safe, structured and caring environment where dogs can feel comfortable and relaxed. With years of experience owning and handling large breeds, I am confident managing dogs of different sizes, ages and temperaments. About: Having had rescued dogs throughout my whole life, I understand each dogs needs are varied and the wide responsibilities that comes with that. I have masses of experiences in walking family dogs and looking after them independently. I have pet sat for many friends and feel I am truly reliable and can be trusted. I have recently moved to the area to be closer to my family, and have full availability for looking after any pet needs. As I only work from home for a few hours per week, I can be available what you are at your full time job and look after your pet. I do not currently have any ability to sit any dogs in my home. About: I've taken care of dogs “professionally” ever since I’ve been 14 years old. This also doesn’t include the fact I have grown up with them during childhood. Neighbours, friends and family have relied on me to walk, feed and bathe their pets. I have a senior dog myself since she’s been a puppy I’ve been there for all her care and support necessary including surgery recovery. I am a student. Even if I’m not home which most likely I will be the whole time there will be a resposible adult home. I am completely available to board from Friday till Sunday with acceptions on weekdays. Sitting and walking can occur from weekdays and weekends. I have a fenced yard and a friendly dog to keep your fur baby company. I can easily crate your dog if needed, kept separate, walks only on leashes and alone.

About: I’ve had dogs all throughout my childhood, and now I have moved out of home and bought my own place, I’m looking to help others with their furry bestie. I work from home during the week on a flexible work pattern, so I’m able to pop out and attend to your dogs needs when necessary. I have a fenced garden (with grass!) and a camera outside the house for extra protection. I work downstairs so your dog will never feel like they are alone.
“We had booked KaYan for dog sitting in our home for two days, and they did an excellent job. They were very willing to meet us twice beforehand so they could get to know our dog - he’s a large dog, so this preparation meant a lot to us. They were thoughtful, understanding of both his needs and ours, and handled everything with real care. Our dog was relaxed and happy when we returned, and the house was left exactly as we’d hoped. We’d book them again without hesitation.”

“What can we say about Martina very friendly and professional went above and beyond really especially for the times she arrived to care for Daisy. Martina is lovely and was very good with Daisy who appeared very happy in the photos that Martina sent to us which reassured us she was being well looked after and Daisy had plenty of excercise. Daisy is very much in the moment when walked Martina was unfazed by this and has taught her some great manners so thanks for that. Daisy loved Martina and had a great time and she was looking for her this morning when we got up so that's a big plus. It was the first time we had left Daisy so was slightly nervous but there was no need she was in good hands and I will definitely be asking for Martina next time we plan a trip. Thanks again Martina your a star.”

“Highly recommend Laure-Jo. We felt confident that our dog Remy was safe, and well cared for while we away. This was the 1st time for us with Rovers and Laure-Jo. Great communication, regular updates and photos. Will definitely book her again! Annie & Jon”

Pet owners share their Rover experiences - Rugby
Katherine was great with our Bruno. We came home to a spotless house and more importantly a happy dog who has previously been stressed when we’ve left him so we’re really happy to have found someone who takes as good care of our dog as we would! Thank you Katherine

We couldn’t have asked for a better person to look after our house rabbits, parrot and beardie whilst we were away! Luke took such wonderful care of our babies keeping them happy, comfortable and well looked after. We came back to a clean and tidy house and he’d gone above and beyond to ensure everything was just right! We highly recommend Luke to anyone who is looking for someone kind, responsible, professional and wonderful with animals. We will definitely have Luke look after our babies again!

Josh was fantastic! It was my first time leaving my dog Milu with a dog sitter, and I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. He sent daily updates and photos, which really put my mind at ease. Milu clearly had a great time and was well cared for. The house was left spotless too! I’ll definitely be booking with Josh again for my next holiday — it’s such a relief knowing I won’t have to worry about finding a sitter anymore. Highly recommend him!

First experience with Anna and Rover. Anna visited Ollie our rescue cocker spaniel twice before our sitting service. She also kept us informed of some unexpected work issues which we worked through together. Overall, Ollie was well looked after and happy when we returned from our weekend away. Our house was kept clean and tidy. Will definitely recommend and we hope to use Anna’s services again.

Our Raf and Nova absolutely loved Ollie because he has got a very calm and kind nature. He looked after them for a week and although Nova (husky / diva / drama queen) was a bit off at first, he son won her over and became besties with her! All of their needs were met, and I felt safe in the knowledge that my dogs and home were being cared for so I could relax on holiday. Ollie even provided me with several pupdates throughout the holiday so I could get my puppydawg fix :)

We booked Stacey to look after our dog, Mo, overnight in our home. From the get-go she was super accommodating and helpful! She came to meet us and Mo before hand, which was great. Her communication was brilliant and she sent us update pics. Our house was left so tidy that I wouldn’t have even known that she had been here! We would absolutely book Stacey again in the future!

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:
- Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
- Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
- Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
- Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.
The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred Rugby walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Rugby choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
