About: I’ve had pets or looked after them ever since I was 10 years old, growing up in a household that at one point had a dog, a parrot and 4 cats! I’ve grown up loving animals and owned my own dog for the last 7.5 years (he’s my once in a lifetime dog). I trained him from 11 weeks old and I think he’s turned out pretty good ❤️ Currently I am living away without him due to moving to Leicester for a year to pursue a rugby playing opportunity and was unable to secure dog friendly accommodation, so he is living with family at the moment. This means I often am looking after other people’s pets here as I miss him a lot. I work from home regularly so am available through the day most weeks, I am often also available at weekends. During the week I play rugby which generally means being out from 5.30-9 on Mon/Tues and Thurs but other than that I can be pretty flexible because of being able to work from home so would be around most of the day and in the evenings on a Wednesday and Friday. I would like to know I’m a good fit for you and your pet and meet them prior to agreeing any work, so I can make sure that we can set mutual expectations and I can ensure that I can take the best care of your fur baby

Wesley is a shy dog that takes a while to build up trust with people he doesn’t know, but Ellen has been extremely patient with him and built up a great relationship. She has looked after him while I've been on holiday and has sent me regular updates of how he’s getting on. When my mum was unwell and I needed dog care at very short notice, Ellen was always happy to help out. She has also even provided a taxi service to little Wesley, dropping him off to visit my dad regularly?!”

“Sam has looked after my English Bulldog many times, more times than not this is a chore due to her stubborn nature and the fact that she doesn't want to walk for more than 5 minutes. This isn't the case when Sam looks after her as she has this special little charm on my dog that i don't understand but it is amazing! She is also the kindest and sweetest person and i trust her 100% to walk or dog sit my dog which she has done many times. I wouldn't ask anyone else to do this and i couldn't recommend and praise Sam higher for the days/nights she has looked after my dog.”

“Neelisha has been amazing looking after my dogs. I have a Staffordshire Bull-Terrier and an American Akita but she had no problem with their huge sizes even though they would constantly knock into her, jump on her, or even knock her over sometimes. She always came back with a smile because she loved those dogs and looked after them well. She took them for walks all the time but I did go with her since she's tiny and my dogs aren't exactly leash trained so she struggles a bit with them. Other than the pulling on the leash thing she's fantastic with them, feeds them, they love her, she loves them, and I can't think of anyone else to trust my dogs with. Oh, and I also have a rabbit called Chaos that CAUSES CHAOS around the dogs but Neelisha is always patient with her as well and takes care of them all.”

About: Whilst I primarily look after cats I've looked after many friends' dogs over the years (and a couple since I've joined Rover!) I love meeting new animals and giving them all the attention and affection they deserve ☺️ I have flexibility and availability on evenings and weekends to come look after your furry friend. About: I have be around my dogs all my life. I have experienced caring and looking after them since a young age. My experience ranges from small dogs and large dogs. I have a family Pug of my own as well as a Presa Canario. I am comfortable and confident with catering to any need for your loveable dogs. I am currently a student in University so have a relatively free schedule making it easy for me to fit pet care into my daily life. I will be done with Uni at the end of March so will have an even more free schedule. I am comfortable taking any precautions your dog may require, whether that be crating them in your home or making sure they are kept close and on a leash on walks.
