About: I’ve taken care of mine, my sisters and friends dogs for over 5 years. I am very knowledgable on daschunds having one myself and having intensely cared for my sister’s. I know a lot about signs to look out for with IVDD, back problems and how to prevent this. I have very good knowledge on training and have attended training courses on obedience with my own dog and am comfortable practicing training with your pet. My own personal dog was rescued as a puppy from Dogs Trust and is very well behaved through positive reinforcement , off lead training and crate training. Knowledgable on canine diet researching and providing a raw diet for my own dog. I currently work full time Monday-Friday with a few days working from home. I am offering boarding over the weekend where I can dedicate my full attention to your dog. Expect off the lead long walks (where comfortable) play time with myself and my dog and a lot of reward training and go find for treats. Pets will be fed on their usual routine, taken for a morning walk over the fields near by and off lead if owner is comfortable. Pet will be allowed to go out in the fenced garden as and when need for toileting and sniffs. Pet will be kept engaged through play with myself and my dog, scattering kibble for go find to engage the brain and also some general obedience training. Pet will also have a long evening walk again where there is opportunity for off lead play.
“Melissa and Sam were super professional and took care of our dogs exactly how we needed. We felt we trusted them right away and their care for dogs is clear from the get go. They kept us updated with photos and texts when needed over the weekend and our house was left clean and tidy. We wouldn't hesitate to come back to Melissa and Sam again in the future! Thanks both ☺️”

“we chose Anya to look after our two dachshunds on our wedding day she was more than happy to walk the dachshunds to our local church in the village on the day so we could get photos of them. They even got the dogs in their little outfits ready for their pictures! The dogs were super happy and got lots of cuddles from her and her friend who joined on the day. She also sent photos throughout the day showing updates of them while we were celebrating at the wedding reception. She was on time and always replied back to her messages my dogs had a great time with her and we was very happy to leave them in her care. I’ll definitely use Anya again in the future 100% would recommend!! Thank you again Anya for looking after our babies on our special day♥️”

About: I’ve been around dogs my whole life and have always loved caring for them. I adore all breeds, though I’m especially familiar with Staffies and Cocker Spaniels, as they’re the ones I grew up with. I’m happy to start taking bookings for the Christmas period, I run my own online business from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I’ve recently returned home after completing my Mental Health Nursing degree. I work online from home, so my schedule is very flexible. I love going on daily walks, and having a furry friend join me would be perfect! I have a fenced garden, with no other animals in the house. I also live next to a park which would be perfect for walkies!! Plenty of treats to be offered too!!
About: I have had two cats in the past, and one dog. Of which being an only child in the past used up a lot of my time! But with experience I am excited to treat your pets like they should be treated :) I currently work from home with a flexible schedule; meaning I have full availability to take care of your furry family’s needs! Whether that’s take lunch whenever is required to walk ur furry friend, to working remotely during home stays. Whether that’s is longer walks due to an energetic or slow friend, to multiple toilet breaks to an anxious dog needing more pets! I am in the offices on Thursday, but can be back for late night feeds or walk! If you cannot find cover for your furry friend, I may be able to not go into the office, so please just ask! With prior experience I know how to cater to different pets and their needs. With excitement and calming energy when need be! I currently have an elderly dog, but have had cats during my childhood and early adult life. I know when a pet needs a bit of loving, playing or need their space, and happy to cater to their needs with whatever patience is required!

About: Hello! My name is Lauren and I am a very happy, easy going girl. I owned a little Pug/ Shih Tzu in the past named Gerty and she was the funniest little character, I ended up moving to Australia after Gerty for the past 7 years. In this time I have done plenty of house sits in Australia and now the UK since I got back a few months ago. I have great experience in looking after all kinds of animals but mainly cats and dogs. I have my pet sitting qualification and I am currently also doing cpr training. I chose to be a pet sitter/walker as it doesn't feel like a job to me. What a wonderful life to be surrounded by creatures that bring us so much joy and comfort and to be able to bring just as much joy and comfort back to them. Previously I was a live in carer for years before becoming a sitter, I treat everyone's homes and pets as I would my own, with love and respect. DVS checked and pet sitter qualified ✅ I have been doing pet sitting in Australia and now I am back living in the UK where I have my own pet care business. So because I am just starting out again here I have plenty of room to book pets, as I am available on all days. I am happy to do day visits, walking, feeding, overnights etc…I have my qualifications and just doing my first aid for pets. I will happily keep your pet company, walk them, feed them, bath them, keep them happy and entertained. I clean out cages, litter trays etc… anything you need me to do for your pets and house I am happy to do. I treat your pets and house as I would my own, with love and respect.
About: I have always loved dogs and since 2020 enjoyed looking after friends and families pets including shy resues. Whether it be long walks, garden run arounds or couch cuddles I am more than happy to be your dog’s companion. I work best with smaller to medium sized dogs as I have a disability so larger or dogs or dogs who are prone to pulling would be difficult. The plus side of this is I have to keep active and walking all the time so why not add a furry friend as a companion. I want to base most of my time around pet care as currently my disability means unable to work my previous rolls in hospitality. I spend majority of my days walking and having down time in the garden or sitting room so the perfect environments for dogs. I love watching dogs in the garden and would not leave your dog unsupervised. For walks I would aim to go around local parks instead of walking around the unpaved countryside roads.
“Alex is lovely and the dogs thought so too! Great communication, punctual and professional, but also very caring with the hounds. Left the house immaculate too. We will definitely book with Alex again and can’t recommend him highly enough. Thank you Alex!”

“Could not have found anybody better to look after our three dogs whilst we were on holiday. Jayde ensured to update every step of the way and all three were so well loved (and spoilt) in our absence. On return, our home was cleaned from top to bottom and it was lovely to see how happy they all were. We would 100% recommend Jayde (and Sean) and if still available will ensure to book again for our next holiday. Thank you Jayde”

About: I have been around dogs and many animals my entire life! My parents have previously owned 2 boxer dogs and a jack russell, so i have experience with both big and small dogs. I also look after my aunties dog and cat regularly by taking him out for walks, feeding him and of course playing! She has also had 2 other cats previously that i looked after too. So i have the trust and respect you and your animals are looking for. My friends too have animals that i occasionally look after as they know i am capable. I am currently working part time at a cafe which will soon be full time. Please message me, even if i am unavailable i am very flexible! I usually go to others houses to look after so bringing other animals into my home won’t be an option unfortunately. I am happy to if it is urgent as i have an open house with a big garden that is all fenced off.
“Cara looked after my 4 dogs over the Xmas period in 2025. Cara came and visited the dogs before hand to establish relationships with my dogs. I was quite apprehensive at first as I’ve never had a stranger stay in my house before. I knew as soon as I met Cara she was an instant match for my little furries. Whilst away Cara sent daily updates which was reassuring especially on Xmas day, I was sent videos of the dogs unwrapping their gifts. My little dogs really adored Cara and they loved their daily walks with her. The house was kept in a reasonable condition, keeping the place clean and tidy. Would definitely rebook again with Cara and I highly recommend her. Whilst Cara is reasonably new to this, her dedication and attention to the dogs was 1st class. Thank you Cara you were amazing they loved you and welcome back anytime”

About: I am a very caring person. I have always loved animals and have owned dogs, guinea pigs, rabbits and fish throughout my life. Recently with my daughter having 2 cats, I do look after them for her when needed. I am very reliable and kind. I believe pets are innocent in this world and do not deserve how some of them are treated. It's heartbreaking. I work full time but 3 days per week is from home. I don't work weekends and finish work in the week at 4pm. I do have half an hour lunch break to use each day too. I do not offer in home stays at my house buy I will go to your home to look after your pet/take them on walks whatever you require.
“Russell was great with Freddie while I was away, took him on big walks and kept him entertained. Have come home to a very happy and sleepy dog! Russell sent updates, pictures and videos throughout and kept in contact so I knew everything was okay. Would definitely recommend Russell and will be using him again in future”

“Sean is a great pet and house sitter. We have used him a couple of times now and our Maddie loves him. She knows and we do, that she will be taken care of. Sean is a very trustworthy sitter and we have always had peace of mind with him. He also leaves the house clean and consistently updates us with Maddie pictures and videos. I would highly recommend Sean and we will be using him again.”

“First time we have used Rover and also using Courtney. I have to say Courtney was excellent, she sent photos of the dogs and let us know everything was ok. When we got home everything was clean and tidy and the dogs were happy and had obviously been well cared for. Can’t fault anything. Thanks Courtney”

“Leanne was absolutely wonderful! From the very first message, she was kind, professional, and so easy to communicate with. During the stay, she kept us updated with lovely messages and photos, which made us feel completely at ease while we were away. Our doggy was so happy, relaxed, and clearly very well cared for. Everything went perfectly, and it’s such a comfort to know we’ve found someone we can trust. X We’ll definitely be booking with Leanne again in the future. Highly recommend! ❤️🐾”

“From the moment we met Kerry we knew our dogs would be very happy whilst we were away. Kerry is so lovely and knowledgable. She treated our dogs as her own, took them on lovely walks every day and had plenty of cuddles with them in our house. Having whippets we explained their traits, like sleeping in the bed and always wanting cuddles, and Kerry was happy to oblige. This is the first time we have ever had a sitter (bar family), as our dogs are quite needy! We felt totally relaxed going abroad for a week with Kerry looking after them. We will definitely be asking Kerry again if we need a sitter. We would HIGHLY recommend Kerry to anyone needing a sitter for their fur babies. Go away and relax knowing your dogs are in the best hands and will be happy. Thanks so much Kerry. You are an absolute star!”

“Fully recommend Bei. As first time users of Rover.com and engaging a dog and house sitter, we were nervous about leaving our 7 month old puppy. But we need not have worried. Bei really looked after Rocco. She kept us fully updated with photos and videos throughout her time with him. Lovely lady and great dog sitter!”
