About: What sets me apart from other pet sitters is my professional experience and knowledge as a full-time Veterinary Nurse. I qualified this year and have 3 years of hands on experience caring for animals. I’m confident looking after pets of all ages, from energetic young puppies and kittens who may need patience, consistency and basic training, to senior pets who require extra care, medication or support with age-related needs. With my full time job I would only be available to house sit/dog walk over the weekend or on a Wednesday. However, I would happily do pop in visits before or after work so would be available all week for this. When caring for pets in their own home environment I would focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible by respecting each pet’s personality and needs.

About: I'm a dog owner myself. My Doberman, Reggie, is part of the family, and my mum's a vet, so I've grown up around dogs of every size and breed and I'm confident with all of them, from nervous rescues to big, strong dogs. I know how much it matters to hand your dog over to someone you can trust. My background is in project management and account management, so I'm organised, punctual and good at keeping people updated. You'll get regular photos and updates, and if there's a change of plan or a problem, you'll hear from me straight away. I'm calm, patient and consistent, and I'll keep your dog's routine as close to normal as possible while you're away. I'm between roles at the moment and doing this alongside my job search, which means I'm flexible and can often take short-notice bookings. Currently unemployed, inbetween looking for roles. I love dogs and have my own (Reggie the doberman). Looking to do this part time and see how it goes! I will be doing a few days a week to get started, pretty flexible! I only care for dogs in their own homes, so they keep their bed, toys and routine, with no stressful move to a stranger's house. Before we start, we'll do a meet-and-greet so I can get to know your dog and your routine, from feeding and walks to meds and house rules. Then I stick to it. Meals, exercise, toilet breaks and bedtime all happen when your dog expects them. I keep your home secure and treat it like my own, and you'll get regular updates and photos. I'll always have your vet's details and an emergency contact to hand, and if anything comes up, you'll hear from me straight away. I have had dogs all my life and love caring for them, so I am comfortable in many situations

About: I’ve had dogs all my life and regularly look after pets for friends and family. I’m comfortable caring for all breeds, from young puppies to older dogs, and I’ll make sure your dog is safe, happy, and well looked after while you’re away. I work from home so am available mornings, lunchtime and evenings from 5pm onwards. I will be available most days in the week as well as weekends I’ll care for your dog as if they were my own, making sure they’re safe, happy, well exercised, and given plenty of attention while you’re away.

She adapted wonderfully to Bear’s needs, providing plenty of reassurance, gentle walks, and lots of affection, which made a huge difference to Bear’s comfort and confidence. Hollie stayed in our home for the week, and we returned to find it extremely well cared for—clean, tidy, and clearly respected. We were also kept regularly updated with photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to see the lovely bond developing between them as the week went on. At home, I have two dogs that I absolutely adore, and I treat every pet I look after — dogs, cats, and more — like part of the family. About: I have had dogs for most of my like, i cared for my own for 16.5 years. She was my baby, ive looked after all different breeds. Some who have allergies so need medicine, ear issues, and even washing them I work from home most of the week so i can do daytime if local, evenings are free depending on times, fri evening / saturday evenings can be busy but i am sure we can work around it I will adjust to the homes the pets are in. If gates are there and need to be locked i will keep them locked, if there is a certain entrance to use entering or leaving the house i will follow that too

“This was our first time in using Rover and we were feeling a bit anxious about leaving our two dogs and someone we didn’t know living in our home. Well I think we hit the jackpot with Russ, not only was he was very experienced in working with and owning dogs, he really went out of his way to make the transition as smooth as possible. He came over and met with us all a few weeks before we were due to go away, and it was clear to see from the start how well he engaged with the dogs and us and was prepared to answer any questions we may have had. The communication from him was excellent, ensuring that were kept in the picture as to what the dogs had been up to and where they had walked. He sent us pictures and videos of their adventures, and they clearly loved being with him. Russ also went over and above our expectations by offering to drop us off and collect us from the airport, saving us both time and money. Russ has a lovely warm and friendly personality and made everything so easy for us. I will not hesitate to call on his services again. We came back to a clean house, and fresh milk and bread. Although our dogs were pleased to see us when we got home, they looked very disappointed that Russ wasn’t with us. A BIG hit with the dogs and with us and he deserves this 5 star rating.”

I’ve since looked after dogs for family and friends, both staying with them in their own homes and caring for them while their owners were away. I also have my own car, which makes travelling to house sits and getting around while I’m staying with your pet easy. I’ll always discuss your pet’s usual routine with you beforehand so I can make sure it works with my schedule and keep things as familiar and consistent as possible while you’re away. I know that house sitting means being trusted not only with a much-loved pet, but also with someone’s home, and I take that responsibility seriously. Before my current career, I spent two years working professionally as a carer, including supporting vulnerable adults in their own homes. I’m therefore very accustomed to working respectfully in other people’s homes, following individual care routines and instructions carefully, and being trusted with significant responsibility. Before a first booking, I’d always prefer to meet you and your pet so I can learn their normal routine, feeding and walking arrangements, behaviour, any medical needs or particular quirks, and what to do in an emergency. While you’re away, I’ll follow your usual house rules and your pet’s established routine as closely as possible. I’m also happy to provide regular messages and photos so you can relax knowing how they’re getting on.
