Phenomenal. Michelle looked after Clement whilst my husband and I were away, and honestly we couldn’t have asked for more. She kept us updated with all of Clement’s adventures and didn’t just follow the handover notes — she genuinely understood him and what we wanted for him. Whether it was stimulating walks making new doggo friends, cuddles in bed, snores on the sofa, or even sneaking treats off the postie, Michelle listened, observed, and gave Clement the absolute best experience. It was so clear he was not only well cared for, but properly loved. Knowing Clement was happy and settled completely made our holiday. We would trust Michelle again in a heartbeat.

Very friendly and honest. She dealt with our changes of schedules professionally and adapted, although she didn't have to. Highly recommend. Clement very much remembered her from his meet and greet at the start of the sit and was very pleased to have a play mate for the evening

Hollie has been absolutely exceptional in caring for our dog, Bear, who is an older dog and not quick to warm to new people. From the outset, Hollie showed genuine patience, kindness, and understanding, taking the time to build trust at Bear’s pace. Bear is currently on medication for arthritis, and Hollie managed this impeccably throughout the week, ensuring her routine was followed carefully. She adapted wonderfully to Bear’s needs, providing plenty of reassurance, gentle walks, and lots of affection, which made a huge difference to Bear’s comfort and confidence. Hollie stayed in our home for the week, and we returned to find it extremely well cared for—clean, tidy, and clearly respected. We were also kept regularly updated with photos and videos, which gave us complete peace of mind and allowed us to see the lovely bond developing between them as the week went on. We would not hesitate to recommend Hollie and will absolutely be booking her every time we need care for Bear in the future.

First time we have used Rover and also using Courtney. I have to say Courtney was excellent, she sent photos of the dogs and let us know everything was ok. When we got home everything was clean and tidy and the dogs were happy and had obviously been well cared for. Can’t fault anything. Thanks Courtney

About: From since I can remember my family have had pets… dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, snakes, lizards I even considered the hedgehogs that would show up at the back door at night pets! My mom is a dog groomer and we get pets to the family house all the time. I help her with grooming and soothing the dogs if they need. I will be looking after the pets on my own as my family live in Birmingham! I am employed but luckily with my job it also gives me some flexibility. I have plenty of free time at the moment to care and play with your babies! Your pets will be kept warm, safe & exercised at home with me. I can stick to your training regime if you have one and let me know what they are!

She is very polite young lady who obviously loves dogs and cared for ours and kept her happy , and sent us lots of photos and information to let us know how things were going which was much appreciated. We would have absolutely no hesitation in using her again in the future !

Krystal was amazing with my two cats, it was our first time using a cat sitter and I couldn’t have asked for more. She was very attentive and as a worried pet owner really reduced the stress of me being away. She kept us updated through her stay and sent photos too. Would definitely recommend and I will be using her again when I go away.

Chi was a superstar dogsitter: reliable, responsible, and loving towards our senior dog. She sent pictures throughout and left our house spotless. Chi followed our instructions to the letter, including administering fairly complex medicine. Communication was superb too. Highly recommended and will definitely book with her again!

Frequently asked questions about Rover

The average cost for House Sitting in North Warwickshire on Rover is £28.75 per night (as of August 2026). However, all sitters set their own rates based on experience, location, and availability.

Rover makes budgeting the cost of House Sitting easy. As long as your dates and pet profiles are correct, the price you see before you book is the same price you pay for House Sitting. For more information on service fees, click here .

As of August 2026, there are 1,597 sitters on Rover offering House Sitting across North Warwickshire. Enter your postcode to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Beyond belly rubs and feeding schedules, a house sitter’s presence may provide an additional layer of security for your home. However, you will need to arrange overnight stays and other household tasks with your sitter when reaching out to them. Not all sitters offer the same services. Common household tasks you can negotiate include:

  • Post & deliveries: Collecting letters and packages so they don't pile up.
  • Plant care: Keeping your indoor or outdoor garden hydrated.
  • Rubbish & recycling: Taking bins out on scheduled rubbish collection days.
  • Home security: Sitters can stay overnight to keep your home occupied.

The best time to agree on expectations is during your free Meet & Greet. Use this time to provide a 'home cheat sheet' that includes your preferred North Warwickshire walking routes, the location of your favourite pet shop, and any specific quirks about your home’s security or appliances.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in North Warwickshire choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a key safe or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
