“I booked my 2-year-old Cane Corso, Bruce, with Charlotte, and he stayed with her and her lovely family. As it was his first time away from home and he can be nervous in new places, I was initially worried. However, my worries quickly disappeared. Charlotte and her family are such warm, lovely people, and Bruce was very well cared for. The space is clean, tidy and spacious, and Charlotte kept me updated throughout his stay, which I really appreciated. A Key plus points for me is there are no other dogs, it’s one to one… When I collected Bruce, it was clear that he had settled in really well. It was lovely to see how comfortable and happy he was, and how warmly Charlotte’s family said goodbye to him. Exactly what I was hoping for my family dog went to a family home… I will definitely be booking with Charlotte again and would highly recommend her to anyone looking for someone caring and trustworthy to look after their dog.”

About: We have a 4 year old neutered male Hungarian Vizsla who is very friendly, named Bailey. My partner has had dogs all her life, over 58 years, and is experienced with many breeds. I have been with my partner for 10 years. We know how hard it can be to find reliable care for our dog when needed and now retired I felt we could offer a home away from home, and help people who need their pet cared for while they are away or at work. We have a 4 star home boarding licence. Our licence reference is NWBC/3668. I am currently retired, although I do do some invigilating, I am totally flexible when not committed to this. We have our own dog and my partner works from home. We can fit in having another dog or two mostly anytime. I have a fenced garden and we have our own dog to keep your dog company and sometimes when we have my son's dog we would have two for company. Both are very sociable. We are happy to walk your dog and follow your guidance on time spent out and distance. We have a stair gate at the bottom and top of the stairs so that we can restrict stairs if this is something that is preferred.

“An overnight business trip to Birmingham from London meant finding doggy day care for my 7 month old LabVizsla. I decided to look for options on Rover. I had used it once before on a business trip to Newcastle and it had worked out really well. And it did this time too. Kim had great reviews and lived up to them. It’s not easy looking after a dog you haven’t met before but Kim was calm, knowledgeable and caring. The house is warm and cosy and Luna I think felt part of the family. Overall Luna loved it, including walkies in the snow. Kim sent pictures during the day which were great to see.”

About: I have loved dogs for as long as I can remember and have always enjoyed caring for and building bonds with them. Growing up, I regularly looked after my family’s dogs, including a Sheltie, a long-haired Poodle and a Cockapoo, giving me experience with different breeds, personalities and sizes. For over 5 years, I have also volunteered with a local Husky rescue, where I have gained hands-on experience caring for rescue dogs and helping them feel safe and comfortable. I have fostered rescue dogs and have even adopted one myself, so I understand how important patience, routine and reassurance can be, particularly for dogs who may be nervous or anxious. I have also helped with basic training, teaching rescue dogs commands such as sit and lie down, as well as helping them learn and respond to new names. When I am looking after a pet, I make sure they are not left alone for long periods. Throughout the day, I am never usually away for more than around 4 hours at a time, and I can provide plenty of attention, walks, playtime and cuddles around my schedule. About: I have had 3 boxer dogs, all in which towards their old age I took great care of them including medication. I now have a cocker spaniel who has an ear problem so I am used to having to put medicated cream in his ears. I have also for the past year looked after a Jack Russel and a German shepherd. For these dogs I have house sat so I have done all the feeding and walking etc. I have also had experience cat sitting on 2 different occasions, so this opened me up to how to deal with litter trays, different dietary requirements and medication. These experiences have enabled me with many different opportunities to look after dogs and cats of all sizes! I am a qualified supply teacher in primary schools, which means I have a very flexible schedule and also a lot of free time during half terms! Living in Chester means I have easy access to many different bus/train routes so I am very easy accessible. I have experience with all different breeds and ages so I am happy to be looking after animals who need medication, I can also safely put the dogs in their crate, also senior dogs if there is special needs that they need such as aid getting onto their bed. I have house sat on many occasions and never had any problems I always keep in contact with the Owner, happy to send lots of pictures so they are kept updated and if keys are involved always made sure I follow the owners instructions!

About: Hi, we’re Jordan and Myles, a 28-year-old couple who absolutely adore dogs! We both grew up surrounded by dogs, including Labradors, Great Danes and Bichon Frisés, so caring for dogs has always been a big part of our lives. Jordan currently has three family Great Danes, while Myles has a family Bichon Frisé, and we regularly look after friends’ and family members’ dogs too. We’re comfortable with dogs of all sizes, personalities and energy levels, and genuinely enjoy giving them plenty of attention, cuddles, playtime and company. We’d love to have a dog of our own, but with our working-week schedules we don’t feel it would be fair to leave a dog alone for long periods. Dog boarding gives us the perfect opportunity to spend our weekends doing something we love, while giving your dog a safe, comfortable and loving home away from home. Your dog will be treated just like one of our own, with lots of fuss, attention and plenty of love! 🐾❤️ We both work full time during the week, so our availability is primarily from 1:30pm on Fridays through to Sunday evenings as we generally leave our weekends free. We have a secure, fenced garden with both a grass and patio area, giving dogs plenty of space to enjoy some fresh air and play safely. Dogs are welcome on our sofas, and we’ll use throws to keep them clean and comfortable. At night, dogs will sleep downstairs in our home, with everything they need to settle in and feel comfortable.
