About: Hi, I'm Emma 👋 I’ve been around dogs my whole life and caring for them has always been a huge part of who I am. From small Shih Tzus to big, bouncy Boxers, I’ve looked after dogs of all sizes and personalities, and I truly love them all. I’ve also volunteered at a dog rescue, where I spent my time walking dogs, giving plenty of snuggles, and helping keep kennels clean. Dogs are more than pets to me, they’re family. I’ll always care for your dog as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, loved, and happy while you’re away. I know how important trust is when leaving your four legged friend with someone else, and I take that responsibility seriously ensuring they feel safe and happy until you're back home. I work full time and currently work from home 3 times a week so I’m available to care for dogs on Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and most weekends. I have a fully fenced and secure garden, giving your pup a safe and comfortable space to play and relax. There are no other pets in the home, so your dog will receive my full, undivided attention.
“Monika is absolutely lovely and has real empathy for animals. Barnaby loves going to stay with her. She cares for him so well lots of cuddles and fuss and I Always get lots of picture updates throughout the day. I would definitely recommend her.”

“Justyna and her family took wonderful care of our family dog. Our dog was so happy and safe with them and Justyna and her humble kind caring family made sure we knew how our dog was and kept us well informed. Sent us lovely photos of our dog smiling and enjoying her time with them. Took our dog for long nice walks each day and they have a great safe and secure garden and home. Thank you so very much.”

“I left Kenzo with Liliana for the first time, and to say I was nervous is an understatement! He'd never stayed with anyone other than family before, let alone for a whole week. I honestly needn't have worried. Liliana was absolutely fantastic from start to finish. She sent me daily updates along with photos and videos of Kenzo playing, eating, relaxing and enjoying his walks, which gave me so much reassurance while I was away. It was also lovely to see how quickly Kenzo took to her and he became her little shadow! It was clear he was happy, comfortable and very well looked after. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Liliana to anyone looking for a caring and trustworthy dog sitter. She's incredibly warm, welcoming and genuinely loves the dogs she cares for. She not only made Kenzo feel at home but also made me feel completely at ease. Thank you so much, Liliana. we'll definitely be back! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐”

“Karman is fantastic looking after our dog Hugo. We love going on holiday and not have to worry leaving Hugo with Karman. We have lots of videos and photos of Hugo enjoying his holiday with Karman and her family. Karman and her family are so caring towards Hugo and are just the best.”

Sitters in West Midlands may request that your dog be up-to-date on core vaccines, such as Canine Distemper, Canine Parvovirus, Canine Adenovirus (also known as DHP or DHPPi), Leptospirosis and Kennel Cough. By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes dedicated customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement programme for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover must pass an identity verification before they can list their services. An identity verification confirms that the sitter is who they say they are based on their documents.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to £25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit our Trust & Safety page .
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
