It's clear that Heather and her family are genuine lovers of dogs and they enjoy the company of the dogs staying with them. I left Frank playing and picked him up the next day when he was still playing. Between times he'd been walked and exercised on a secure dog field and received lots of cuddles and attention. I also received several updates and lots of photos showing him playing, on his walk and peacefully sleeping, reassuring me he was ok. If I need to board Frank again in future, Heather will be my go to choice and I can't recommend her enough for providing a safe, loving and fun experience for Frank. An easy 5*”

He can be a bit full on when you first meet him, but Jade handled his energy with ease and made him feel right at home. She kept in great contact leading up to his stay and throughout his visit, sending a lovely video and some adorable photos that showed me he was settling in well. About: I am an avid dog lover and have owned dogs of my own for 40+ years. With my own playful chocolate Labrador Rolo, I look forward to welcoming your pet into our home. Your pet is my priority and I will treat him/her as part of my family. Walkies, cuddles, reassurance and providing a safe, happy environment is my goal to make you feel happy, stress and worry free whether you are at work, taking a break or having a well deserved holiday! I am pet first aid trained and accredited and have transport available to be able to pick-up and drop-off your beloved dog if required to allow you to make the most of your time away. I have just finished caring for my youngest grandchild and am now ready to help hard working people who love their dogs care for them whilst at work or on holidays in my home. I will send photographs whilst you are away (if required) for your peace of mind knowing that your fur baby is looked after and happy in a home from home whilst you are enjoying time away. With a secure back garden and a large grassed area only feet away from me (for those dogs allowed off lead) to play or chase a ball I have a safe space to play and stimulate your beloved pet.
About: I’ve taken care of my dog since I was 13, I am very patient easy going with pets and love to walk pets of our neighbours/friends My working days are Wednesday - Saturday, therefore I’m free on Sundays Mondays and Tuesdays. I can do early morning walkings on other days as well. I believe it’s also important to have a pet in your life in terms of well being I can provide anytime pictures/videos during the walking and the areas that we will be walking will be notified in advance just to have a piece of mind of the owners.

I knew there would be no issues and was more than happy for my dog to be looked after by Dina. Dina kept me updated with photos throughout the week and I could tell my dog was having a lovely time and was very happy with her surroundings. My dog is 15 so can have days where she’s a little more tired than others but everything was accommodated. A perfect little holiday for my pooch ☺️ 🐾”

I owned a little Pug/ Shih Tzu in the past named Gerty and she was the funniest little character, I ended up moving to Australia after Gerty for the past 7 years. I am happy to do day visits, walking, feeding, overnights etc…I have my qualifications and just doing my first aid for pets. I will happily keep your pet company, walk them, feed them, bath them, keep them happy and entertained. I clean out cages, litter trays etc… anything you need me to do for your pets and house I am happy to do. I treat your pets and house as I would my own, with love and respect.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
