“This was my first time using Rover and I'm glad I did! Kinga and Luna made Bear feel very welcome, lots of playing, walking and fussing. Kinga kept me updated throughout the whole stay and I would definitely book with her again, thank you so much!”

“Thank you so much Heather for looking after Sweep last week. I can honestly say that I’m sure he had the most wonderful time with you all. I will definitely keep in touch & make you my first port of call when I’m booking my holidays / weekend away etc. thank you again very much x”

“Venus was very well looked after and cannot fault the care that she received. From thr meet and greet to her week stay with Rafal and Maggie was brilliant. They were able to accommodate Venus's diet and the need for frequent walks. We received regular updates (photos and videos) and were completely reassured that Venus was well looked after so that we could enjoy our holiday with peace of mind. We would highly recommend Rafal and Maggie as sitters and will definitely be using their services again. We cannot thank you enough and seems our doggy 'V' and their little girl who's nickname is also 'V' became besties aswell. Thank you for making it such a positive experience.”

“Hayley, did a fantastic job looking after our Cocker. She was really thorough, understanding everything about him and his routine. I knew I was leaving him in safe hands. Then when we were away, she sent loads of updates so I knew he was having a good time. Really grateful for the care and I look forward to using Hayley again soon.”

“Freddie had the perfect stay. It’s always worrying when using someone new but Samantha and her husband was so friendly and asked lots of questions about Freddie which was reassuring that they were making sure they knew things about Freddie to make his stay perfect. The updates were also very much appreciated. The resident dog, Eddie was perfect for Freddie and gave him space. Hopefully Freddie will become a regular visitor as will not hesitate to use Samatha again.”

“I wouldn’t hesitate to ask Katy & Reece to have Woody & Lettie again. Loads of updates & photos throughout their stay. & on pick up my furries had clearly had a good time. Thank you 👍🏽”

“Ivana kindly looked after our dog Brian for the afternoon yesterday, and she and husband Andrew were just brilliant. Upon meeting Ivana it was obvious that she really loves dogs and Brian was very quickly made to feel at home. Her enthusiasm about the walks they were going to go on left us in no doubt that he was going to be just fine without us. She also understood immediately the quirks of a Jack Russell! When we collected him it was lovely to see how much she'd enjoyed having him there; actively engaging him and trying to anticipate his needs. In summary, we're already planning more cinema visits in Leicester as Ivana is the perfect Brian host!”

About: I am an avid dog lover and have owned dogs of my own for 40+ years. With my own playful chocolate Labrador Rolo, I look forward to welcoming your pet into our home. Your pet is my priority and I will treat him/her as part of my family. Walkies, cuddles, reassurance and providing a safe, happy environment is my goal to make you feel happy, stress and worry free whether you are at work, taking a break or having a well deserved holiday! I am pet first aid trained and accredited and have transport available to be able to pick-up and drop-off your beloved dog if required to allow you to make the most of your time away. I have just finished caring for my youngest grandchild and am now ready to help hard working people who love their dogs care for them whilst at work or on holidays in my home. I will send photographs whilst you are away (if required) for your peace of mind knowing that your fur baby is looked after and happy in a home from home whilst you are enjoying time away. With a secure back garden and a large grassed area only feet away from me (for those dogs allowed off lead) to play or chase a ball I have a safe space to play and stimulate your beloved pet.
“Weasley had an amazing stay. Reliable, friendly and trustworthy and both genuine animal lovers. We felt very reassured after our visit that our dog was in the best hands and she came back happy and well looked after 😊 (I hope she didnt try and steal your door stop again 😆) She'll be looking forward to her next sleep over! Thank you 💕”

“Steven (and his children) looked after and played with Lily on a overnight stay at quite short notice. Would happily have Lily stop again as she seemed to enjoy it. Nice to know he also doesn't live far away too. She was well looked after. Thanks.”

“Courtney and her partner are absolutely brilliant. They are so accommodating and flexible and nothing is too much trouble. Courtney gives regular updates and Norbert seems to love her and is very happy there. We couldn’t ask for anyone better to look after Norbert 🩷🩷🩷🩷”

About: I’ve cared for pets most of my life — from energetic puppies to senior dogs and independent cats. Friends and family have often trusted me to look after their animals while away, knowing they’ll be in calm, capable hands. I’m comfortable with all sizes and temperaments, including pets with special needs or medication schedules. My focus is always on creating a safe, low-stress environment and giving each animal the attention and routine they’re used to. Whether it’s a long walk, a quiet check-in, or an overnight stay, I approach every visit with reliability, respect, and care. Im currently in the civil service and work set shifts, this means I have days off in the week where I can cater your pet needs. Just contact me for any date enquires. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or staying in yours, I always aim to keep things as close to their normal routine as possible. That includes feeding times, walk schedules, play preferences, and any specific instructions you share. I know how important consistency is for pets, so I take the time to understand their personality, needs, and comfort level. In your home, I make sure to leave everything as I found it — clean, organized, and secure. I respect your space and your pet’s space equally. In my home, pets have a calm, safe environment with room to relax and feel at ease. I never leave pets unattended for long periods, and I always prioritize their safety, comfort, and emotional well-being. Clear communication is also key — I send regular updates, photos, or videos so you feel connected and reassured while you’re away.

About: I’ve always been an animal person and have had all sorts of pets over the years, including Chow Chows, Labradors, Staffies, Huskies and cats, so I’m used to different personalities and energy levels. I’ve raised my own pets from puppies and kittens, and I’ve also adopted and rescued animals, which has taught me a lot about patience, care and really getting to know each animal as an individual. I’m genuinely caring and will always treat your pet like they’re my own. I’m not working at the moment, so I’ve got plenty of time and flexibility for walks, boarding or house sitting, and I won’t be rushing in and out. I’ve got experience with walking, boarding and looking after pets in their own homes, and I just want them to feel comfortable, safe and happy while they’re with me. I’m currently not working, which means I have plenty of time and flexibility throughout the week to dedicate to caring for pets. We often look after our neighbors’ pets and regularly take our own dog out for walks, which made me realize how much I enjoy spending time with animals and helping others with their care. I’m available every day except Saturdays and can offer a range of services including boarding, drop-in visits, walks, or anything else needed to make sure your furry friends are happy, safe, and well cared for. Whether it’s a quick check-in or longer stays, I’m here to help and treat your pets as if they were my own. When caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I always follow any instructions provided closely to ensure each pet’s routine, diet, and preferences are maintained. I understand that pets are cherished family members, so I treat them with the same level of care, attention, and respect. I take the time to understand each pet’s unique personality and needs, whether they require lots of play and stimulation, a calm and quiet environment, or something in between. I adapt my approach to make sure they feel comfortable, safe, and happy at all times. I’m also flexible with timings and can work around busy schedules to provide reliable and convenient care. In my home, I can accommodate other pets either alongside my own husky—who is very relaxed and friendly with dogs, cats, and children—or separately if preferred. I have additional rooms and a secure garden, allowing me to tailor my services to suit different animals, temperaments, and situations.
“Having a business function 5 hours from home and needing to find suitable care for our needy French Bulldog was potentially stressful. So glad we found Cathryn and her wonderfully calming approach. She (and her husband) were super accommodating, communicative, helpful, reassuring. Instantly connecting with Merlin when we dropped him off, and sending photos and messages throughout the evening to reassure. When we are in Staffs again and need repeat care, we will be 100% returning to Cathryn. Highly recommended!!”
