About: I've had dogs all my life from Mini Shih tzus, staffys, boxers, bulldogs and German Shepherds. Have worked in kennels walking dogs and keeping them clean and healthy. Big animal lover and would treat any animal as my own, there welcome on the furniture ( with owners permission)and to run round my big garden. Have trained puppies and cared for my senior dogs till the end. Also had horses and have my BHS qualifications. So I'm very lucky to work from home so I would always be there. Available for boarding at all times to stay in my home. We have lots of great walks nearby, canal paths and a big fenced field. I have a large fenced garden, and a calm cosy environment. Dogs are free to roam around the house and would be well looked after.

He had such a good time, communication was 5 star with lots of pictures and videos and Johnny was happy and relaxed when I picked him up. About: Hi, I’m Ellie, I’m 27 years old and live in Long Eaton. I’m a Junior Marketing Manager by day, fitness enthusiast by night. I really love spending time with dogs and have lots experience in taking care of dogs over just a normal day whilst I work from home, or when people need their dogs looking after whilst they’re away for a week or so. There’s nothing better than having a little buddy following you round! I haven’t got any kids around so no need to worry if your dog isn’t great with children. I’ve got a large fenced garden that dogs can run round safely. I’m looking for a lovely dog that I can take for walks and have at home as well whilst I’m WFH. I’m also available for long weekend stays too! I currently work from home on Fridays, so can look after dogs from Thursday night to Sunday evening ONLY. No long holiday stays, I live too far away from where I work to provide the best care to your dog. THURSDAY PM - SUNDAY PM ONLY. I live in a semi detached house with a large clear fenced garden so your dog can run round freely without any risk of escape or hurting themselves.

I can take care of your fluffy ones 7days a week! I like to take a walk in the late afternoon so I am more than willing to take the fluffy one with me and I am happy to change my exercise time around your dogs. I live with my partner (who has a full time job) and we don’t have any pets in our home. His parents have a large mixed breed rescue dog and sometimes we take care of her when they are away. I am only available for pet(s) from one home at a time to offer maximum comfort for him/her/them and my garden is large and fenced up.

“We left our Caucasian Shepherd Cross rescue - Calli - with John and Teresa for a 24 hour period to see how she got on - prior to a couple of week long stints that we have booked with them in February and April. We had also been for a meet and greet prior to leaving her. It was clear from our first meeting that John and Teresa are lovely people who really care about dogs and also know how to look after them and make sure they are happy. We got a photo of Calli out on a walk in the country park that borders John and Teresa’s house. She was given 2 long walks during the day. On collecting Calli, I could see that she had bonded well and was very much at home - which was great to see and put our minds at rest about leaving her for longer periods. Knowing that Calli will be so well looked after is very important to us and John and Teresa are the perfect people to ensure that is the case. Thank you very much. See you in February.”

Wow! What can we say about Brooke and Bobby. Ralph has been looked after like he's had a 5 star hotel! The walkies, the cuddles, the fun times with their dog Vinnie. Leaving him for a month was hard but we felt so happy that he had such a good time and a special bond with so many pictures and even facetime. Sacha is one of the most genuine people we have ever come across, she’s helped us last minute whilst we were away by taking care of our little dog Paddy after we were let down by friends who had him in there care. Sacha went and fetched him for us and kept him safe, he was so confused as to what was happening but she gave him so much reassurance and he settled into her loving home for the rest of the time we were away. Paddy had the best time with his little friend who helped looked after him. She kept us updated on how Paddy was getting on and sent us lots of videos and pictures. We honestly can’t thank you enough Sacha.
Daisy is looked after by Liz at least once a week and absolutely loves it at Liz's house. She has lovely walks (Liz is very careful to follow our instructions regarding these as Daisy is dog reactive) and is spoilt by the whole family. This was Daisy's first overnight stay and I'm sure she's already desperate for another one! All advice regarding Daisy's routine was followed and as usual we had plenty of updates and cute photos 🙂.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest vet. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorisation form for your regular vet. An authorisation form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
We require sitters to operate in compliance with applicable local licensing requirements. In England, pet sitters who board dogs or provide doggy day care as a business may need a valid licence under the Animal Welfare (Licensing of Activities Involving Animals) Regulations 2018. When vetting your sitter, ask if they meet local licensing requirements for dog boarding. This confirmation is important for coverage under the Rover Guarantee.
